Hiya, it's the author here! I thought id give a bit of context before you start reading.

"Someone speaking with Sign Language"
Disclaimer: I own nothing to do with Destiny or My Hero Academia, I am just putting my own spin on things and having some fun.
Thank you all for the reviews on the first chapter, and I am so sorry this one took so long (not really that sorry, I'm too busy for my own good)
Now, Mr SMASHton and un-named guest who asked about the guardian's class.
Here is your answer. His class is... Void (Yes I know that's a subclass, I play destiny)
He is going to have the abilities of a hunter, warlock and titan. But also whatever the hell else he can come up with. His light works like a quirk, so while he does have some of the same attacks as in-game, I will only allow him to learn something if I can see a way for it to work.
ArguableReader: No, this is MHA. The guardian is not replacing Midorya, and there is a - - on the world of MHA so class 1A may end up going to - - - at some point...
Oh, Guess that information is still classified as spoilers. Hmm I wonder...
- will become a - - after being - by -.
Hmm yes, seems all spoilers are blocked... Oh well, have fun reading!
Guardian's Academia
Chapter Two: Greetings and Questions
"Sorry for the scare, Mori says he didn't think the Minotaur could recover that fast. Anyways, Nice to meet you. I'm Solasi. Ghost to the Guardian, Morimitsu"
Morimitsu froze, head slowly turning to look at his ghost. 'You are meant to stay hidden' he thought at the small machine. 'And you are meant to stay alive. I get forced out into the world if you die' Solasi turned to him, eye flashing as she replied so only he could hear.
Eraserhead moved toward the pair as they had their private conversation, and tapped the ghost on one of the corners of her shell. Immediately the feline boy swiped her out of mid air and held her close to his chest while glaring at the hero who dared to touch his ghost. "Okay, sorry I was just curious. I won't do that again" The erasure hero apologised "But when it comes to robotics and drones. I don't particularly trust them, not since these things popped into existence" he continued as he lightly kicked a dead goblin.
"Much as I'd love to stick around and chat, we need to get these two out of the red zone and I have other work to attend to. I suggest we get moving" Miruko said while scanning the buildings and ruins around the group for any signs of movement "Agreed, lets move you two. That way" Eraserhead pointed towards the closest safe area. Solasi disappeared back into Mori for safety. The guardian started walking behind the two heroes as they led the way out, but something small and purple caught his eye. Immediately recognising the object of her guardian's focus to be an engram Solasi told him to grab it. Mori nodded and quickly moved over to the engram and collected it before rejoining the group.
"What you got there?" Miruko asked looking at the strange object. "Just a souvenir from my first battle" Mori signed to her after placing the object in one of the pockets of the dusty jacket that his ghost had given him. Miruko's eyebrows lifted slightly at the use of sign language, she turned and walked backwards facing the two kids "Well put it on a shelf somewhere safe, it looked pretty valuable" Miruko replied in perfect sign language surprising Mori who started asking questions about her and what she does. Eraserhead just rolled his eyes at their antics.
It took only half an hour to get out of the red zone and back to the city centre. Miruko signed goodbye to Mori and left with a "See ya round!" to Chikara and Aizawa, who had introduced themselves on the way back because Chikara was getting annoyed at being called 'kid' by the heroes and Aizawa thought that being called Eraserhead every 10 seconds by the two kids following him was an irrational waste of time and effort.
"So are you heading off too Mr Aizawa?" Chikara asked while standing close to Mori. The hero looked at the two kids, while they had survived the attack it was clear they were still a bit shaken up by it. Even thought they hid it well, he saw right through the facade. "Nope, I'm getting you two home safely, so lets get moving. Where do you two troublemakers live?"
"Oh, I'm just up the road! That way, near UA. What about you Morimitsu?" Chikara asked with her head tilted. Mori just looked at the ground and shook his head.
"Ki... Morimitsu, whats wrong? I need to know where to take you" Aizawa knelt down beside the feline boy and put a hand on his shoulder. Solasi appeared between them "We don't have a home, hard to explain on the spot but... it's. Complicated" the ghost said before disappearing once more. "Well that makes thing interesting. I'll see what I can do to help, but we need to find you something for tonight at least. It's getting late" Aizawa said looking at the rapidly darkening sky.
"He can come stay with me for tonight!" Chikara said "I'm sure my parents would be happy to help someone in need" she looked hopefully to the hero and guardian to see their reactions. Morimitsu was looking at her and mouthed a quiet 'thank you' to her, Aizawa thought it was a great idea. "Okay, lead the way. I'm going to make a few calls while we walk. See if I can secure something more permanent"
Aizawa let the two kids walk a few meters ahead of him so he could talk to Nezu without being overheard by anyone.
"Hello Aizawa, you normally don't call just to chat. So lets skip formalities, whats happened" Nezu picked up and got straight to the point, bringing a small smile to Aizawa's face.
"Nezu, I've found a couple of kids in the red zone that were being targeted by those machines you sent me to keep an eye on. They were dead set on eliminating one of the kids, and actually managed to despite my best efforts to intervene." Aizawa said with no small amount of regret in his voice.
"Oh dear, how is the other one holding up. I can't imagine that was an easy thing to go through" Nezu replied.
"See that's the thing. I'm currently walking both of them to the girls house. The kid who died can resurrect, thought they are both fairly shaken up they are holding together really well and trying to hide how scared they both are"
"Well then, everything seems fine. What did you call for?"
"The kid who died doesn't have a home, and I don't want to put him into a random home with those machines chasing him. He needs to be near a hero who can defend him at all times. So what I'm asking is, would there be a way for him to live at UA? There is always a hero there, whether during schooling hours or doing night shift security, he would always be defended and we can keep the resurrection power under wraps. You know how much of a fuss the hero society would make about a quirk like that"
"Indeed, they would be all over him trying to secure him for their own purposes. An immortal soldier trained from a young age. I'll see what I can do Aizawa, thank you for calling"
Aizawa hung up and caught up to the kids as they stepped through the front gate of a large house near UA that Aizawa recognised. It was the home of a second year at UA, Nejire Hadou. Aizawa gulped, he didn't want to deal with that bundle of energy right now. He just hoped she was tired out from her internships. "Oh hi Mr Aizawa!" Aizawa froze and looked over his shoulder. Just walking in the gate behind him was the infinite fountain of excitement herself, Nejire looked tired, but still awake enough to be a bother. "Hadou" Aizawa greeted her in the most tired tone he could muster. Then the purple haired girl he had followed here flew past him and slammed into Nejire for a massive hug. Aizawa's eyes widened as he could now see the resemblance, other than the hair colour and the completely black eyes. These two were identical. "So what brings you here? You don't normally just turn up at a students door. Kinda weird" Nejire cocked her head to one side as she finished. Aizawa pointed at the miniature version of the girl that had attached to her side "that troublemaker, she was in the red zone with this guy fighting the machines" he pointed over his shoulder to the young boy who was standing behind him very confused. Nejire grabbed her sister and lifted her in the air with a stern look on her face. "What have I told you about going in there alone" she scolded the younger girl who had the decency to look ashamed. Nejire let her down and looked around Aizawa to the boy. "And you... who are you again?" Nejire suddenly appeared beside Mori and grabbed him by both cheeks and stared intently into his eyes. Morimitsu was started to get scared and by the time the older girl let go of him he had already decided never to cross her. "So he's mute?" Nejire asked as she opened the door and let the three of them inside. "How did you figure that out so fast!?" Chikara exclaimed as she walked toward Mori to lead him indoors "The scar on his throat is kinda hard to miss" Nejire pointed out "now come inside already, if Mr Aizawa is here then this is obviously going to be important"
Said hero had already started to remove his combat boots and motioned for Mori to do the same to his boots, but Mori had already removed them in a flash of blue particles and followed Chikara further inside leaving Aizawa to get his boots undone alone.
After finishing with his boots the hero moved into the lounge where the whole family was sitting around the round coffee table on brown leather couches while Nejire poured tea into cups and handed them out to everyone. Aizawa looked around, it was still the same as the first time he had come here. Sky blue paint on the walls with white on the roof, a desk in the far corner from where he had entered and a games cupboard to the left of the entrance. Three doors were spread around on the wall to the right but were always left closed.
Aizawa took a seat beside Morimitsu on the couch closest to the exit and accepted a cup of tea without complaint.
"Thank you for taking time to meet with me out of the blue like this, but I couldn't let this wait. This is Morimitsu, he's currently got nowhere to stay and while I am already working on something for him he needs somewhere to stay for tonight" Aizawa looked between the parents while he explained his reasoning for being there. "Your younger daughter was kind enough to offer a place for him to rest for tonight whilst I get something else prepared for him. But I would like to get confirmation from you before I leave him with you" he motioned to Mr and Mrs Hadou with his right hand while his left sat on Morimitsu's shoulder. "Of course we are happy to help" Mrs Hadou said "We can look after the young man for as long as it takes to get him set up with a place to live"
Morimitsu looked up at Mrs Hadou, she smiled back at him "Chikara already told us that you are unable to talk, Don't worry though. I have a book and pen you can carry around to communicate with, and I'm sure we can all start learning sign language to help with that problem" Mrs Hadou stood up and offered her hand to Aizawa who followed suit and shook her hand. "We will look after Morimitsu until such time as you return to take him to his new home. Thank you for trusting us with this Mr Aizawa, and please drop by any time to check on him" Mrs Hadou smiled at Aizawa and Morimitsu, the young man lit up with joy and appreciation and stood to bow in thanks while Aizawa tapped him on the shoulder and turned to leave. "I'll check on you tomorrow kiddo, and once again, thank you Mrs Hadou" And with that Aizawa took his leave.
Mrs Hado showed Morimitsu to the guest room and helped him prepare the bed with sheets and a blanket, not doing it for him but teaching him to do it himself. Meanwhile Mr Hado was in the kitchen with Nejire and Chikara cooking up some homemade beef ramen for dinner.
After dinner was finished Morimitsu helped to clean the dishes and then excused himself to his room, Solasi had managed to open the engram and had been trying to get him to find some privacy for quite a while. Obviously she still didn't quite want to reveal herself to them.
Once inside his room Solasi immediately appeared and hovered around excitedly, then she raced over to the bed and materialized something that dropped onto the covers. 'Look at what I found in that engram you picked up!" Solasi was spinning her purple shell in excitement while looking at Morimitsu as he walked over to the bed. He picked up the weapon that lay on the covers, it was small but sturdy, a box shaped frame around 20-30 centimetres long with multiple rivets visible along the side. The sidearm had a small internal slide at the back of the body and a slot for the magazine in the handle, it was obviously built to be reliable instead of pretty. Mori looked it over and felt the weight and how it sat in his hands. It all felt natural to him, as if he had done it a million times. "That is a SI-2 sidearm, Seventh Seraph make, extremely reliable sidearm designed to fire void rounds!" Solasi explained "How lucky is that, its made to handle the same energy type you wield" Morimitsu placed the weapon back down on the bed to reply "Keep it down just a little, wouldn't want Mrs Hadou to find a gun in her house" the young guardian signed quickly "That being said. This is really cool, but where do we get ammo for it?" Solasi froze, floating down towards Mori's waiting hand as she contemplated his point. This world didn't have this level of weapons tech yet, there wouldn't be anywhere to just stock up on rounds. They would have to make them somehow.
Solasi then de-materialized the SI-2 and disappeared into her guardian to do some research. "I'll see what I can do about the ammo situation, you get some rest. You have Mr Aizawa picking you up in the morning to take you to meet Nezu, The principal at UA High, to discuss our housing situation" Solasi said as she started searching for anything that could help them with the current problem.
Morimitsu nodded and got into bed after turning off the lights. Sleep was not easy to come by for the young guardian so he ended up playing with his light for a few hours, being careful to keep it away from anything it could damage and keeping the amount used very minimal. Eventually though, Morimitsu fell asleep.
Awakening the next day Mori found that his ghost was being unusually quiet, he could tell she was still there but her presence almost felt muted. As if she were just watching or maybe just busy doing something else. The guardian didn't mind too much, it gave him time to process all that had happened in what was not even a day since his resurrection. Mr Aizawa turned up after a few hours and took both Morimitsu and Chikara to talk to the principal. The eternally tired hero giving them visitor passes to get past the gate defences. "What do you think Mr Nezu has planned for Morimitsu?" Chikara blurted out as the trio walked into the main building, Aizawa kept completely silent and his body language gave nothing away. 'Well he's hard to read that's for sure' Morimitsu thought to himself as he played with a small amount of light in his palm. He was currently making different shapes with the light and making them solid, but as they walked up to the principal's office he let the light dissipate and steeled himself to face whatever was about to happen.
The door opened suddenly and Morimitsu almost jumped as a girl about his and Chikara's age almost walked into him. Mori bowed in apology before standing and taking a look at the stranger. She was exactly his height with long flowing silver hair that faded into a dark blue near the ends, her eyes were a strikingly bright green that almost glowed compared to her darker skin. She wore a black long sleeve and Cargo pants with a pair of combat boots to match. What really threw Mori off though was the tattoo on the right side of her face, extending up from under her shirt they looked like ocean waves moving from her arm to her right eye, a hook depicted near her cheek. The tattoos were fading from an ocean blue back to black as the girl had to calm herself and stop her quirk from activating. "Sorry about that, I didn't expect anyone to be there. You surprised me is all. Thanks again Mr Nezu" the stranger quickly took her leave, looking at Morimitsu and Chikara questioningly as she walked past but not stopping to talk. "In you go, Nezu's got a busy schedule so let's not waste any time" Aizawa said as he pushed the two teens inside.
"Ahh, Hadou and Morimitsu was it? Come in come in, take a seat" Nezu welcomed them and pointed to the two chairs in front of his desk "Let's get straight to the point shall we?" Mori nodded as he sat down. "Well I have been informed of everything, so no need to hide your 'ghost', that is what you called it yes? Either way, Morimitsu I regret to inform you that whilst we are unsure of why the machines are specifically after you we will be adopt you into the normal system for orphaned children, and as you have no known parent or guardian you will be unable to apply to live on your own in an apartment" Nezu looked up and directly into the guardian's eyes. "So I have a proposition for you, should you agree to it one of our own teachers here at UA can look after you for the time being. Of course should some family member appear we would give you the option to live with them and this whole problem would be solved. But as it is now I would rather keep you somewhere safe and close to someone I can contact. If you want we can go around and meet all the teachers who have agreed to help with your situation and then..." Nezu slid a tablet towards Morimitsu "...you may make your decision as to who you choose. Of course the Hadou family is still an option, should they agree to it" Nezu finished.
Morimitsu thought it over and came to the decision to just go with it for now. It was only temporary anyway, and he got to choose who he stayed with once he'd met them all. Morimitsu looked down at the tablet which was turned on and had a writing app open, so he picked it up and started typing a reply for Nezu to read. ~I'll stay with one of the teachers, if just my presence is enough to be a danger to people then I'd rather be near someone who is ready to fight then someone I'd need to protect. At least until I'm ready to protect people~ Nezu ready the guardian's reply and nodded slightly while clapping his paws together "Well then, off we go. Let's go meet everyone" the mouse man jumped off his seat and walked around the desk to Aizawa, then faster than the two kids thought possible he climbed the exhausted looking man. Coming to a rest atop his Right shoulder. Aizawa didn't so much as blink at his antics, instead just moving toward the door as he motioned for the two to follow him. Chikara and Morimitsu looked at each other and shrugged, if Mr Aizawa didn't react to it then it must be normal here, so they quickly caught up to the decaffeinated hero and followed him to the teachers lounge.
Upon opening the door Mori was met with the sight of Midnight and Present Mic talking over the sound of a coffee machine. The two heroes looked at him as soon as the door opened, Midnight moving over to introduce herself. "So this is the young man who's in need of a place to stay hmm? Oh look how adorable you are" she said as she grabbed him by the cheeks to get a better look at him. Morimitsu's eyes narrowed and his ears lay flat as he tried to escape the hero's grip. "That's enough, let the poor kid go" Aizawa warned as his eyes flashed red. Midnight immediately put her hands up as she released the feline boy, said boy writing on the tablet to show to Nezu ~She's too hyperactive~ Present Mic had crossed the room with coffee in hand and laughed as he read what the boy had written "HAHA HE DOESN'T LIKE YA KAYAMA, GUESS YO..." Mic was cut off by a clawed hand slamming his lower jaw upward and holding it there. He looked down at the kid with a raised eyebrow. Mori let him go and typed something on the tablet before showing the DJ. ~FAAAAR too loud~ he rubbed his ears as he showed his message to everyone, receiving a snort from Aizawa for his troubles. "Totally agree with you there kiddo" Aizawa remarked as he subconsciously dealt with a knot in his capture scarf.
Mori started typing again, flipping the tablet to Nezu and Aizawa when he finished ~Is Mr Aizawa a teacher here?~ Aizawa deadpanned at the kid. "If you choose me then you are going to be put through hell kid, you'll be joining me when I do workouts, go on runs and you'll be learning some hand to hand combat so I've got someone to spar with. It wont be fun" Aizawa said threateningly, he was hoping to scare the kid so much that he wouldn't think twice about avoiding him. However the young man seemed to be thinking about it. Then he started typing, and smiling.
~When do we start?~ Aizawa's brain stopped, he had to re-read that last message a few times.
The kid, wanted to train. "Why would you agree to my terms kid" Aizawa questioned.
~Can't protect the world if I'm unable to fight, you offered training where I have none planned yet. A roof over my head, food and a place to sleep. And you are calm and quiet, that already makes you more comfortable to be around then... well~ he finished by pointing to the rest of the teachers in the lounge, either talking to each other or watching the boy with interested gazes. Aizawa just smirked at the jab. "Fine, lets get going then. Morimitsu Aizawa. Your 10 months of hell awaits"
Mori gave the man a soft punch on the arm and a smile, then turned to Chikara who had been talking to Thirteen in the hallway. Mori clapped his hands together, a small purple shock wave escaping from between his palms. Chikara looked at him as he pointed to Aizawa and gave her a thumbs up.
The next day Morimitsu found himself taking a run with Aizawa around Musutafu. It was for 'training endurance and doing some grocery shopping' as Aizawa had put it. They had gotten to a butchery near the beach that Aizawa liked to get all his meats from and said man had gone inside to buy supplies while telling the feline boy to "Do a lap around the beach and come back. I'll be out by then"
Morimitsu ran off for the beach, but upon arriving on the beachfront he found mountains of rubbish dumped everywhere. He shrugged to himself and started running through one of the many twisting paths through the dumpsite. After a minute of picking his way through the piles he came to a fairly open area on the shoreline, the water was washing up the sandy shore towards him, stopping a few meters away and then retreating only to do it again a few seconds later. It was mesmerising to watch but he could come back later, So he took off once again running down the beach towards a wharf he could see a fair way down. While he was running his ears picked up on the sounds of someone straining themselves, a man encouraging him to do his best a few seconds after. As Morimitsu rounded a corner he spotted them, a short and skinny green haired boy was on the ground panting while a tall and almost skeletal looking man was kneeling down next to him offering him a bottle of water. "You can do it young Midorya, you just have to try your hardest and stick to it" the golden haired man said as he helped the green boy up.
"Looks like they are training as well, what do you think he's training for Solasi?" Mori thought to his ghost as he approached the pair "Knowing this world, probably to become a hero" came the chirpy reply from the voice in his head that the guardian was rapidly getting used to hearing. The pair heard his footsteps approaching and both looked up at him, Mori smiled and waved as he ran past flicking a thumbs up at the green boy to encourage him and then kept going heading back towards the street where Mr Aizawa was no doubt waiting for him already. The feline wasted no time and ran back to find his adopted father figure tapping his foot against the pavement in annoyance. "You took too long, to get around the beach should only take ninety six seconds. You took nearly a hundred and thirty, were you slacking off?" the tired man said as he started running back toward home, not waiting for Mori to catch up. "Nope, but I did get lost" Mori thought to himself. But he grinned madly as he raced to keep up with the erasure hero. He was already having fun.
A few hours later would find Morimitsu lying on his back completely exhausted while Aizawa was making some dinner for the two of them. Mori had expected the training to be tough but that was insane. His entire body felt like it was burning after everything the demon in the kitchen had put him through. And yet at the same time he finally felt like he was doing something productive.
"Are you practising quirk control out there or are you slacking already?" one evil Aizawa called from in the kitchen "if I don't see some progress with your quirk by the time I finish here then you don't get dinner!"
Mori rolled his eyes and clapped his hands together once in reply, then manifested a small amount of light between his palms. Ever since Solasi had told him that his new sidearm ran on void he had been thinking about how to use that. It had finally clicked when he had solidified his light into a solid disc in his hand on the way to UA, he could make bullets from his own light and use the SI-2 to fire them at his adversaries. The guardian compressed the light down into a shell casing and filled the end with tightly packed and highly volatile light, then made a solid projectile and inserted it into the end and sealed it there. He held his focus on the bullet for a few minutes until he got completely used to the feeling of it. Then made a second, and a third. Keeping an eye on all of them as he put them on the table. If any of them started looking dim or ruptured then he would know he had found his limit of control. By the time the first shot dissipated Mori had made a total of twenty seven rounds. Enough for a magazine and a half, and he was able to make a shot in just a few seconds. Having gotten used to the process.
Aizawa walked out into the lounge to see the glowing rounds sitting on the table. "Bullets huh? Are they just to look good or have you made them work? And what are you firing them from?"
Mori raised his hand to start explaining but Solasi beat him to it. "I have a sidearm made to fire void rounds like these, its currently deconstructed and sitting in our 'backpack' so to speak" Solasi materialised the weapon on the table with a magazine. "Do you know of anywhere we can test it safely, I'd like my guardian to learn how he could alter the properties of a round to greater or lesser effect. Wouldn't want to accidentally kill a person or leave a Vex without a scratch on it would we?"
"UA" came the simple reply as Aizawa handed a plate of sushi to Morimitsu and sat down while inspecting the sidearm. "Snipe will be able to teach weapons training and has a firing range for testing long range attacks. BUT, that will be for the next episode. I need sleep first" Aizawa said while stifling a yawn.
"I'm sorry, did you say episode? What did you mean by that?" Solasi asked
"hmm? I said that will be for tomorrow. Listen carefully"
"No you defin.."
"TOMORROW" Aizawa interrupted and pointed his chopsticks at the ghost.
Solasi huffed at the man and disappeared while the two finished eating and cleaned up for bed.
