Hello everyone long time no see. I am back with the proper debut of Volume 7. The majority of Volume 7 is a flashback as well as a very large portion of Volume 8. Though we will get some narratives from Ruby and her team. The best comparison I can think of in terms of storytelling style is Final Fantasy X.

Also, the divergence from canon will occur real soon so you are all free to try to predict how certain events will occur. From the concepts alone, Volume 7 looks to be a very long volume for this story. Another warning I have to give is the direction of both Volume 7 and 8. There are going to be a lot of intense moments and a lot of the characters are going to be put through the ringer in some form or fashion. So there is a chance that some characters are going to have a bad time in Atlas. As someone who like these characters I don't want to do it. But it is necessary for the story.

Chapter 94 How it all begins

(The Schnee Manor)

After Ruby spent several minutes looking at the destroyed Kingdom of Atlas and the ruins of the city of Mantle. She felt the need to go inside the manor since she couldn't endure the sight of it anymore. As she was walking through the halls, she found herself alone with her thoughts and feelings and tried desperately to find something to take her mind off of the recent events. But knowing the intense ordeals everyone endured. Did not give Ruby that kind of luxury, all it accomplished was to motivate her to hold back further tears.

Instinctively, she founds herself in the main dining hall where her team is at. While Qrow and Robyn was present in the room as well. Unfortunately, when Robyn saw Ruby, the leader of the Happy Huntresses gave an intense glare at the young leader. Ruby knew why and she could say and do nothing in response. Afterwards, Jaune came into the room and he was accompanied by Makoto. Qrow tried to lay his hand on her shoulder to comfort his niece. But Ruby shrugged him off, due in no small part to the heavy tension in the room that is felt by everyone. Nobody wanted to speak, but Jaune mustered up the courage to be the first to speak. Despite the heavy tension that is felt by everyone due to the recent events.

"I know things are bad, but we can't just sit here feeling sorry for ourselves. We have to keep pressing forward." Jaune told everyone

"What can we do Jaune, the City of Mantle is destroyed and Atlas is in ruins. Anything we do will just be pointless. Acting without any sort of plan is what got us here in the first place." Blake told Jaune causing Ruby to have a deepened look of guilt

"We can't just do nothing, I agree we do need a plan but how are we going to formulate one. My home Kingdom is destroyed and everyone who trusted us either hates us or feel betrayed. Don't even get me started on the body count that is still ongoing." Weiss said as she rested her face on her hands

"Your right." Ruby said getting everyone's attention

"What do you mean Ruby?" Yang asked in a concerned tone

"Before we can do anything, before we even try to come up with a plan. We need to go everything that happened. So we can figure out what to do and know who is responsible for everything going wrong. Personally, I have an idea on who is responsible for things going wrong. But we still need to go over everything. The only thing I realized for certain is that all of this mess started the moment we all arrived here in the Kingdom of Atlas." Ruby told everyone before they started to go over the beginning

(The Kingdom of Atlas)

Ruby: It took several hours for us to get to the Kingdom of Atlas. Before we could get to the General. We had to stop at the City of Mantle and make our way from there. Unfortunately, we were greeted by several things that made us realize that things are going to be harder than I thought.

Once the large group made it to the City of Mantle. Maria had to carefully land the airship to make sure she didn't draw in any unwanted attention. Once the airship landed, the group decided to travel through the city stealthily. Even though it was ill advised to travel in a large group. The argument was made that they needed to stick together. Especially since General Ironwood's army is patrolling and anything can happen. Not to mention that Ragna is still on the wanted list for being the Beast of Remnant.

"I still think traveling like this is a bad idea. It just makes it easier for us to stand out." Ragna stated to the group.

"I agree, if the General isn't on the lookout for us yet. Then a large group traveling suspiciously will certainly raise a few alarms." Sol said agreeing with Ragna

"I know you guys don't like this, but we still need to stick together. Some of us haven't fully recovered from our fight with Nu, Tyrian, and Hakumen and we don't even know our way around the Kingdom." Yang explained before using her arm to point out the fact that she has one arm now since Hakumen destroyed her prosthetic one.

"As long as we don't draw in unwanted attention. The people will assume that we're just a group of traveling Huntsmen for hire. Given the Hunter's initiative that's been implemented. It will be an easy sell. Besides, too many of us haven't been in Atlas or Mantle so getting lost is something we can't deal with." Qrow said to the group. While they were traveling on the streets, a news footage appeared on the big screen. What was on the screen is the raining swords that attacked and killed a lot of people in the City of Argus.

The sight of this footage made Jaune visibly worry. Since he is seen worried about the fate of his older sister and her family. The destruction that was caused by Nu still weighed heavy on the groups mind. Many were astounded at the fact that Nu caused so much death and destruction with no regret or remorse. While coming to the realization that she's too far gone. While others are worried about how Ragna will handle the situation. Getting Jaune out of his trail of thought. Makoto patted his shoulder and gave a reassuring smile.

"If your older sister is anything like you. I'm sure she and her family will be fine. Besides, Cardin stayed behind to protect them and that has to count for something." Makoto told Jaune reassuring him

"Your right, I just need to be optimistic." Jaune said before the news Anchor was on screen

"What you all saw is an attack on the City of Argus not far from our Kingdom of Atlas. We have received reports that over 35% of the population has died to the raining swords and the Grimm attacked shortly after. The Atlas military stationed in Argus along with reports of an unknown individual have played a pivotal role in killing the Grimm and protecting what's left of the City. Nobody knows who caused the attack on the city. However, a thorough investigation is being made and once we have the answers. We will act accordingly." The news anchor said as the group moved on

"It's hard to believe a little girl like that did all of that. I know you don't want to hear this. But that Nu girl is too far gone, she's clearly a threat to the world." Maria said to the group but intended for Ragna to hear her

"I KNOW WHO'S BEHIND THAT ATTACK. IT WAS THE BEAST OF REMNANT!" A Drunken man said getting the group's attention

"ALL OF THIS CRAZINESS HAPPENED BECAUSE THE BEAST OF REMNANT SHOWED UP. THE FALL OF BEACON HAPPENED WHEN THE BEAST SHOWED UP. THEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, HAVEN WAS ATTACKED AND NOW THE CITY OF ARGUS. COINCIDENCE, I THINK NOT, IF THAT RAGNA SHOWS UP HERE THEN WE'RE ALL SCREWED!" The drunken man yelled before calming down and taking another drink. Upon hearing this, Ruby wanted to speak up and try to defend her friend. Before she could, Qrow grabbed her shoulder and stopped her.

"He's drunk and we can't risk the attention. We need to move on and not get distracted." Qrow said before the group continued walking. Before they went too far, the drunken man focused his gaze and started to notice Ragna

"Wait a second, you look like Ra. . . .." The drunken man said before Amane used his aura sash and gave him a light jolt that put the man to sleep.

"I only gave him a light jolt. He'll be up and refreshed in a few hours." Amane said before the group moved on

"I know that we're all facing various difficulties during these uncertain times. Please rest assured that everything will be fine. The Kingdom of Atlas remains strong and safe. That is my personal promise to you." General Ironwood said on the giant screen

"The General looks tired, like he's barely keeping it together." Yang told Ruby before Qrow spoke up

"What have you been doing James?" Qrow asked before Jaune spoke up

"What's the plan, do we even know how we're going to get to the General? We never really talked about what to do once we arrived." Jaune asked the group

"Luckily for all of us, I happen to have an old friend here in Mantle. He's well connected and if we play our cards right he can lead us to the General." Maria told the group

"Do you know how to get to your friend?" Amane asked

"Yes, in fact we have arrived." Maria happily said as the group saw that they all arrived at the clinic.

"Your friend runs a clinic?" Blake asked

"Of course, how else will he be able to fix my eyes. First he'll make my eyes right as rain. Then he'll be able to look into meeting with the General. Seeing as though he does a lot of projects for Ironwood. He is our best way to get a meeting. Unless some of our nobles want to use their connections." Maria said as she looked at Jin and Weiss.

"I do not want to give my father the satisfaction of asking him for help." Weiss told the group

"My adopted family will want something in return. So going to them will be a problem in the long run. Besides, with them establishing the Hunter's Initiative, I doubt they can guarantee a successful meeting. With the borders being closed and a lot more of the General's policies. I doubt the Kisaragi's will even entertain the notion of a meeting." Jin explained to the group

"With all that being said, my friend who happens to be the most brilliant mind in Atlas will be eager to help. Besides, I am overdue for my eyes to be fixed. Some of you are going to have to stay out here. Since there isn't a lot of space and he still isn't brought up on the current situation regarding Ragna." Maria said to the group

"I'll stay out here with him. Since we do gotta catch up since Beacon." Sol said before the others went inside as several others opted to stay outside with the two. Including Weiss, Jin, Amane, and Tao. Once the group went inside and some of them were left alone. Sol decided to speak up

"I don't what's going on either. But it looks like you got into something really big. I don't really care for the entire story, I just want to know how deep this goes." Sol told Ragna

"It goes deeper than you think, but right now I'm more worried about my family. Which reminds me." Ragna said before he gave Jin a glare

"What the hell were you thinking handing Sister Celica and Saya off to the General like that. The least you could've done was stay with them." Ragna stated to Jin

"I wanted to get to the people who were behind this. Besides, being under the General's protection is a lot more preferable than leaving them in a hospital with a lot of uncertainty." Jin defended himself

"You saw what those mechs did in Atlas. For all we know, you placed your family in more danger by doing this. You want further proof, look at all the bullshit things Ironwood has done." Sol said adding to Ragna's points

"You don't know the full story Sol, so why don't you stay out of this." Jin told Sol

"Like it or not I'm part of this. Or was it someone else that fought against the legendary Hero Hakumen. Why was he after you anyways?" Sol asked

"That's an even longer story, but to give you the short version. It relates to my new name, the Beast of Remnant." Ragna briefly answered

"Damn, I knew this went deep. The main reason I wanted to catch up to you is that I found a big guy who was looking for you." Sol told the others

"What did he look like?" Ragna asked

"He was a big guy with a deep voice and brown skin. Couldn't get his name, he got away before I could get it." Sol briefly explained

"That sounds like Hazel, its only a matter of time before him and his group gets to Atlas." Ragna said

"Well it won't be easy for them to get to this Kingdom. Besides, you have bigger things to worry about. We can't predict everything, so for now we just need to roll with the punches." Sol said eagerly

"Meow, rolling with the punches is a lot of fun. Especially if we get to throw some good punches back. With a right hook, a left jab, and a good ole kick to finish things off." Tao happily said despite not understanding what Sol meant

"See, she gets it, if they come then we will be ready to deal with them. But for now, its best to worry about what we can do now." Sol said before Winter appeared on the big screen.

"Failure to cooperate with Atlas military personnel is a punishable offense. We ask that you cooperate with the military to the best of your abilities." Winter said on the screen as the group looked at each other

"Of course, I get to have a reunion with the military specialist." Ragna said in a snarky tone.

"Watch yourself Ragna, she is still my sister and there is a lot more to this than we know. If we just talk to her then I'm sure all of this will make sense. Or at the very least she'll be willing to help us." Weiss stated defending her sister

"No offense Weiss, but your sister didn't exactly give me the best impression. She acts as if she's better than everyone. Winter has an uppity attitude that is common with Atlas. What else is there, oh yeah she was sent by Ironwood to capture me but instead brought back my master." Ragna briefly explained to Weiss which angered her further

"You wanna go there Ragna, let's not forget that it was your sister that killed all those people in Argus and you still want to help her. Jin's right she's too far gone at least Winter is helping a Kingdom." Weiss stated defending her sister

"By serving as a lapdog to the General. I've seen her bark and bite. She crosses me again I will put her down." Ragna stated which infuriated Weiss

"Let's not forget your role in what happened to Yang. Maybe we should go further." Weiss angrily responded

"You know what . . ." Ragna said before Amane stepped between the two

"The both of you need to calm down. I know that there's a lot of anxiety with being here. But we all need to keep a level head and work together. If we don't stick together then we won't be able to protect anyone." Amane said calming the two down before they stepped away from each other. Once the two were separated, Sol mentally recalled everything he heard and put the pieces together.

"That young crazy girl we fought. So she's your sister and you want to help her?' Sol asked in a tone that confirms he knows the answer.

"Don't tell me your going to say I shouldn't even bother or that she's too far gone. I've heard it from everyone else." Ragna said in a frustrated tone

"Nope and with a few good reasons. For starters you know the full situation with that girl so you must have a good reason to be so determined. But a bit of advice, you better know what the hell your doing. Because from what she did, its going to get to a point when everyone is going to tell you to kill her." Sol briefly explained to Ragna

"What would you do if you were in my position?" Ragna asked

"I can't tell you what I'd do, but I can tell you what to expect. Sooner or later you're going to have to make a choice. You'll have to make a choice where you'll have to choose between your duties or your integrity. Choose your integrity and you'll piss a lot of people off. Choose your duty, and you will hate yourself everyday. Whatever choice you make you need to be willing to live with it." Sol told Ragna

"I made that choice and it cost Yang her arm." Ragna responded

"I didn't say you'll make that choice once. What I'm getting at is your going to have to live with your choices and not give a damn about how people feel about it." Sol explained further before the City alarms sounded off. Upon hearing the alarms, the group ran towards the streets and proceeded to arm themselves with there weapons. Seconds later, everyone else came from the clinic armed with their various weapons.

"Let me guess, the Grimm are coming?" Ragna asked in a tone that's more of a matter of fact.

"We have to do something, Mantle doesn't have any defenses." Ruby stated that's more of a matter of fact

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me." Nora said as she wielded her hammer

"Mantle has defenses, us." Jaune confidently said as he held his sword and shield

"Good, I wanted to let off some steam." Ragna said enthusiastically as he grabbed his sword before Qrow noticed this.

"Ragna, I hate to say it but you need to sit this one out. There are too many drones and we don't know if everyone is inside. If someone sees you, it'll draw a lot of attention and we can't have a repeat of what happened on the train." Qrow told Ragna

"Fine, but don't take too long." Ragna said as he stood near the entrance of the clinic

Moments later, the group saw a large hoard of Sabyrs Grimm running towards them. Once the large herd got closer, Weiss used her glyph to launch a good number of the Grimm to the air. After doing so, both Bang and Ren proceeded to jump high into the air and landed critical blows against the Grimm that caused them to disintegrate into the air.

After a good number of the Grimm were dealt with. Ruby and Tao proceeded to work together in unison to destroy the Sabyrs that were quickly approaching them. With a combination of Ruby's speed and Tao's agility. Any Grimm that attempted to get closer to the two were quickly dealt with by Qrow. With a combination of his scythe swings and quick punches.

Despite having only one arm, Yang proceeded to make short work of the Grimm. But had to be more cautious of her surroundings since she is limited in terms of fighting tactics. As Yang was destroying the Grimm one by one, a Sabyr Grimm started to run towards Yang. Before it got close, Makoto leaped towards the Grimm and landed a strong punch that destroyed the Grimm. After the Grimm was destroyed, Makoto ran towards the Grimm and used a combination of her semblance and aura to create several illusions of herself pursuing the Grimm. The Sabyr Grimm attacked each of the illusions and after doing so, all of them were swiftly dealt with by Makoto.

After Makoto dealt with the Grimm. Another small group of Sabyrs approached her. This time, Jaune proceeded to throw his shield and it ricocheted to hit each of the Grimm before it returned to him. Once Jaune's shield returned to him, he proceeded to slash at each of the Grimm. Shortly afterwards, Nora ran towards Jaune and upon seeing this. He held his shield up and Nora landed on the shield and jumped off of it which propelled her towards the group of Grimm and slammed her hammer to the ground. The proceeding shockwave knocked back all of the Grimm that surrounded her and they quickly dissipated.

Oscar and Amane spent time fighting against the Grimm that tried to attack them. Every Sabyr that got close to Oscar. Amane would pull it back with his aura sash and elegantly destroy it with several quick attacks with a combination of kicks and punches. The Grim tried to blindside Amane, however the elegant young man gracefully dodged and delivered a fatal counter against the Grimm.

"It's been so long since I've had such amazing dance partners. Unfortunately for you, none of you aren't up to my standards honey." Amane said as he made short work of the Grimm.

Before Ruby could do anything further against the Grimm. A familiar green laser pierced the Sabyr Grimm and quickly killed it. Shortly afterwards, a laser barrage rained down from the sky and made short work of the Grimm in the area. When Ruby saw the green lasers, she looked at the source and saw a flying figure. Upon seeing this, Ruby held on to a shocked expression that is a mix of happiness and surprise. Once the figure landed on the ground. Ruby used her semblance to rush towards the figure and gave her a hug.

"PENNY, I knew you would come back. I'm so glad to see you again. I know that you were rebuilt but I am still happy to see you." Ruby said before she stopped hugging the figure. Though as she took a better look, the individual was similar to Penny. Yet there are a several key differences. For starters, the girl has a more lean figure than Penny, more freckles on her face and has twin pigtails. When Ruby noticed more of the features, the young girl look slightly confused.

"I'm sorry, I think you have me mistaken for someone else. My name is Polly Polendina and I am the designated protector of Mantle." Polly said introducing herself to Ruby

"Polendina, would you happen to know a Penny Polendina? You see she's my fri . . . ." Ruby said before Polly excitedly grabbed her hand

"You know my older sister, that means you are her friend. It is an incredible honor to meet a good friend of my older sister." Polly happily said while tightly squeezing Ruby's hand

"I'm happy to meet you too. But can you please let go. Your grip is a bit . . . ." Ruby said before Polly let go.

"I'm sorry, its just that aside from dad and the General. I never met anyone who knew my sister." Polly said in an embarrassed tone

"Pietro never mentioned building a little sister." Maria said as she arrived with Pietro

"I never had the chance to mention it. I started working on her not too long after Penny was born and I wanted to give my little girl a younger sibling. A little addition to our family. Polly was still years away from completion and her reveal was supposed to be a surprise. Unfortunately, when Penny was . . . . killed. The General insisted that Polly's development became a top priority. She's a lot stronger than Penny, but I wouldn't want her fighting the Beast of Remnant anytime soon." Pietro said before he coughed

"That couldn't have been easy by any means." Maria said

"No it wasn't, but for my family, I would do anything. Though bringing Penny back would have been possible of I was able to get her core." Pietro said in a sad tone

"Yeah, I wish Penny could have been brought back too." Ruby said before she gave Jin an intense glare which caused him to simply roll his eyes.

"To do so much hard work couldn't have been easy for you in any way. Take it from me, you can't overwork yourself or you'll end up dead." Maria said in a scolding tone

"I told him the exact same thing, but his dedication towards helping people is admirable." Litchi said getting everyone's attention. Upon seeing Litchi, most of the group shared looks of excitement

"LITCHI!" Bang, yelled out before several members of team BLST approached her.

"It's nice to see that they know her." Pietro happy said

"How do you know her Pietro?" Maria asked

"She's my assistant at the clinic, Litchi has been essential in helping me with the patients and caring for Polly. Not to mention that she also looks out for my own well being. Though I am curious as to how they know her." Pietro asked

"Litchi tutored some of us back in Beacon." Ruby answered

"Meow, it is so good to see you. Not to mention your really huge bo . . ." Tao said before Amane cut her off

"It's a pleasant surprise to see you here in Atlas. I wish we could have met each other better circumstances." Amane told Litchi causing the more mature woman to chuckle

"I feel the same way, still regardless of the circumstances. It's good to see all of you again." Litchi happily said before Polly spoke up

"Litchi has been helping the people of Mantle alongside dad. With Litchi and Dad working together. As well as me protecting the City. The people of Mantle are in great care. Now if you will excuse me, I need to patrol the city in case more Grimm came into the city." Polly happily said before she flew away.

"She's enthusiastic." Yang commented

"Indeed, I only wish that she could have met Penny. I'm sure that the two of them would get along swimmingly. As things currently stand, Polly is a lot stronger than Penny but we still don't know what Ragna is fully capable of. The best we can do is prepare as much as possible. But enough of this concerning talk. Let's go back inside and get a nice bite to eat." Pietro told the group

"That sounds nice, I was just thinking of making some meat buns once I returned to the clinic. I tend to make too much so there will be more than enough for everyone." Litchi happily said which made Tao and Nora face drool

"Delicious meat buns." Tao and Nora said excitedly as Litchi went on ahead with Pietro. Once the two were further ahead, Ragna came out of hiding and started to talk to the group in a low tone

"I don't like the fact that I couldn't fight against the Grimm. Last I checked I didn't train as much as I did just to sit back and do nothing." Ragna complained to the group

"I'm sorry you feel that way but this is necessary. Your still wanted and Atlas is on high alert. Like we said, if we draw unwanted attention because of your infamy, then we'll end up fighting a whole Kingdom which is the last thing we need." Qrow explained to Ragna

"It's only a temporary issue, once we figure things out. You'll be out there fighting Grimm in no time." Ruby said with enthusiasm.

As the group was walking, both Ren and Bang felt a presence. Before they had the chance to voice their suspicions. They saw several sets of Bolas being thrown and the two proceeded to jump over them. Unfortunately, several people were caught by the Bolas and were unable to move. Ragna, Sol, and Jin reacted quickly and proceeded to destroy the Bolas with their weapons. Though before the group could react, a fast dark skinned woman ran towards the group and proceeded to land a hit on each of them. After being hit, several of them were pushed back allowing a muscular build woman to constrain Ren and Bang.

"So Jin, any idea who they are?" Ragna asked while him and Sol wielded their weapons ready for a fight after seeing the two women in uniform

"I've seen them a couple of times when I was in Atlas Ragna. They are the Ace Ops and if their here. That means we have General Ironwood's attention." Jin said as he wielded his sword.

"Freeing the others is easy, we can take them on." Sol confidently said

"I would advise against that." A male with short brown hair said as he approached the group with the rest of the Ace Ops.

"Clover, what are the Ace Ops doing here in Mantle?" Pietro asked

"We've received numerous reports of an unauthorized use of an airship with an unauthorized landing and an unauthorized use of weapons by unlicensed Huntsmen." Clover answered the Doctor

"We helped save this town and this is the thanks we get. This treatment already earned you an unauthorized foot up your ass." Sol angrily said to Clover

"Not to mention that one of our drones picked up the image of a person of interest. The cloak and hood concealed your face and hair. But the sword is a dead giveaway, Winter's report was right on the money. So why don't you come with us peacefully Ragna the Bloodedge." Clover said which shocked Pietro as Ragna let down his hood.

"Your . . . . ." Pietro said before Ragna spoke up

"I fought Winter when she tried to bring me in. What makes you think this will go any differently?" Ragna said as he wielded his sword.

"Because you have two choices before you Ragna. You can come with us peacefully and we can settle this like reasonable people. Or we can call for back-up and let them know that you're here and you'll be fighting an entire army. The choice is yours, but I don't think you're the type of person to endanger anyone." Clover briefly explained to Ragna

"Go along with it for now, wage a war against this Kingdom and it'll defeat the purpose of us being here. Not to mention that this group won't be the only one in danger. Or did you forget about who else is here?" Jin said as in he dissolved his sword.

"Damn it." Ragna said as he dug his sword to the ground. And put his hands up as he was cuffed

"Try anything funny and it won't end well for you." Sol said as he surrendered as well.

"Good work team, soldier units take the group to the airship to Atlas. Us Ace-Op will personally escort Ragna and Jin. Seeing as both of them are people of interest. Sorry for the disturbance Doctor and despite the circumstances it is good to see you again." Clover said as the mechanical soldiers arrived and brought the group to the arriving airship. Once another airship arrived, Clover and the rest of his team brought Ragna and Jin on a separate airship before boarding it as well.

Ruby: I honestly didn't know what to expect when we first arrived. Dr. Pollendina told us that General Ironwood became a completely different person since Beacon. From someone being able to hack Atlas's systems. The threat of the Grimm and Salem. It was clear to us that he is afraid and it's gotten to him. Which also made him very paranoid. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know how deep that fear went. If I'd have known how deep it truly went, then maybe I'd have done things differently. But at the same time, it would have made things worse.

This is the official debut of Volume 7, the diverting moments will occur soon and once it does it will change a lot in the story. A fair heads up is that while the break is over this story will not have a lot of frequent updates. There are a lot of reasons for this but one of the main ones is that I don't want to rush through this volume. Though as things stand Volume 7 looks to be one of the longest Volumes in the story so far. Also to address the concerns regarding the treatment of the characters, I can assure you that I am not trying to bash or mistreat the characters. It is not my intention to do so. The reason for certain scenes and moments is that I try to have characters act naturally in the story as they would in canon. For example, from what I've seen and know of Jin. I can't imagine Jin going along with certain plans and/or ideas and not having any harsh words to say about it. Especially since it's confirmed in Blazblue that he is considered cold hearted. Ragna will have a crucial chapter here and there but for the most part his role will be reduced for Volume 7. Volume 8 will be another story since he will have a VERY CRUCIAL ROLE.
