Izuku is already adapting to his new life, and with his guardian, the two don't even have a problem with each other. Izuku knows that Aizawa is a pro hero and has obligations to fulfill. His work was at night and early in the morning, and Izuku had the habit of saying goodbye at the front door.
"I'm going now." said Aizawa, going on patrol.
"Good...luck...come back...soon." Izuku said, a little worried.
"Don't worry, I'll be back soon." stroking Izuku hi hair.
"Let's play some games." commented Hizashi.
"He should go to bed by 10." Aizawa said sternly.
"Relax, this isn't the first time I've taken care of him." said Hizashi.
Hizashi always brought games to play with little Izuku, various types of games but most were board games. The nights were really fun, with games, and sometimes they watched movies.
Izuku was rarely alone at night, the few times he was alone, Aizawa would call to see if everything was okay or Izuku would call him until he fell asleep.
The routine with the psychologist was also very calm, she came to the house and encouraged Izuku, and didn't force him to talk if he didn't feel like it. Her name was Doctor Akane, she specializes in traumatized children. She commented that Izuku is very shy, due to the abuse he suffered, but that he will gradually improve, but that doesn't mean that the wound will disappear.
Izuku loved drawing, it was what he did most. He drew heroes that appeared on TV and also drew a lot of Aizawa and Hizashi, which he then gave to them as gifts.
Aizawa also took Izuku to see his mother's tomb, they went to the flower shop and bought white roses. Once there Izuku left the flowers for his mother, he tried not to cry but he couldn't.
"It's okay to cry, it's your mother."
"Mom...sorry...it took so long...I'm here." he said in tears.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Midorya, I'll take good care of your son. Rest in peace."
After that day, Izuku became much closer to Aizawa, always trying to give the child as much attention as possible. To show that he was not alone and that he would be by his side, in the best and worst of times.
Going out was still complicated, Izuku couldn't talk to people, and even the therapist's recommendation was to go out as much as possible. They went out shopping, buying new clothes, and eating at restaurants. But when they spoke to Izuku he stopped and Aizawa spoke for him.
But after the food arrived, Izuku was very happy, he thought everything was very delicious. Aizawa tried to go out to eat whenever he could.
There was a day when out of nowhere Izuku called Aizawa father, and after that, he never stopped calling him that.
The two were at home, Aizawa was preparing dinner, and he decided to make the boy's favorite food, Katsudon.
"The food is ready." Aizawa said, calling Izuku.
"Katsudon!" said happily.
"Yes, and your favorite."
"Father...Thank you." Izuku said without thinking much.
That surprised Aizawa, why does Izuku always surprise her at food time? Smiling he said: "You're welcome, my son."
It was then that Izuku realized what he had said, and was a little embarrassed, but Aizawa showed that he was happy that he called him father.
One day, while Aizawa and Izuku were returning from the supermarket, the little one started running and jumping. He was excited that today they were going to make dinner and he was going to help, Hizashi was already in the apartment waiting for them. He was running and jumping but he wasn't paying attention to where he was going.
"Izuku, be careful! Don't run, you might fall."
But it didn't take long, at the bend in the street Izuku collided with someone, and they both fell to the ground. Aizawa ran to help his son and the stranger.
"Are you well?" Aizawa asked Izuku. He waved to confirm that he was fine.
"And you, sir? everything is fine? I'm very sorry." Aizawa helping him.
"It's okay, I was distracted, it's my fault too." commented the man.
"Izuku apologize."
"Sorry" Izuku said slowly, and sad about the situation.
"Don't worry, it was an accident." at that time the man, as soon as he finished speaking, started coughing and spat out blood. That scene looked like a horror movie.
"Sir, I'm going to call an ambulance!" Aizawa said, already taking out his cell phone.
"No need, this happens all the time." informed the man.
Izuku isn't satisfied with the man's explanation, and he's sure it was his fault, so he suddenly activates his quirk. Holding the man's hand, the two begin to glow, and for some reason, Izuku began to feel very tired, as if his energy was being drained.
He had never been through this before, but he didn't give up and continued, he only stopped when Aizawa used his quirk on him. Thus passing out in the process, he was so exhausted that he could barely stay awake.
The man was very surprised by what he saw when the boy began to shine, he began to feel very good. He saw in his eyes that the boy was not well, but he noticed when the boy's father's eyes turned red, making him stop shining and then fainting.
"Izuku! What happened?" Aizawa asked very worried.
"Should I call an ambulance?" asked the thin one.
"No, he's breathing. I think he passed out because he was using his quirk too much."
"Sorry." said the man.
"It wasn't your fault, sorry for the inconvenience." said Aizawa holding Izuku in his lap, the boy was very light.
Saying goodbye to the man, Aizawa took Izuku home, and putting him to bed. The boy slept all day, missed dinner, and only woke up at breakfast time. That day Aizawa scolded Izuku again, who was sad, and unfortunately had to punish him. After breakfast, Izuku was grounded in his room, without a TV or cell phone, for 3 days.
Maybe 3 days weren't enough, but Aizawa didn't know what to do. He had already told Izuku not to use his quirk, but apparently, it didn't do much good.
"Being a father made you soft, just 3 days of punishment." said Hizashi.
"To tell the truth, I don't know what to do with him. Even if I say no, he keeps using his quirk."
++Hospital++
The man Izuku encountered was called Toshinori Yagi, few knew, but he was Japan's number 1 hero, known as All Might.
After finding the green-haired boy, he was consulted by Recovery Girl, who learned about his situation. He had lost half of his lungs and also some of his stomach.
But he was feeling different so he was consulted, he hadn't felt so well in a long time.
Some tests were carried out giving the result to Recovery Girl.
"Did something happen recently?" said the recovery girl.
"Why the question? Is there something wrong with the exams?" said Toshinori Yagi.
"Your exam has changed for the better. Your stomach was restored, not completely, but I could see that you recovered a lot of it. " commented the recovery girl.
This information caught Yagi by surprise, he would never have expected his situation to improve. He was already prepared to transmit his power. But and now? Will plans change?
"There was a boy, green hair and green eyes, he started to shine, and that's when I felt good." commented Yagi.
"You'd better call Detective Tsukauchi." said the recovery girl.
It didn't take long for him to receive All Might's call, he went straight to the hospital, as he knew his friend's situation.
"I came as fast as I could." said Detective Tsukauchi.
"I'm glad you came." said the recovery girl.
"So what's the matter, you're not feeling well?" Tsukauchi said, a little worried.
"It's the opposite, I feel much better than before." commented Yagi.
"I'll explain the situation! It seems Yagi found a boy with a healing expert. And from what I see here in the exams, the boy's healing power was capable of regenerating an organ." said the recovery girl, handing the report to Detective Tsukauchi.
"It's so strong!" said Tsukauchi, amazed by the information he received.
"Yes! As much as you perform more tests on All Might, it may be possible for him to make a full recovery. But we need to find this boy, I also need to test him." said a girl from Recovery.
"What was this boy like?" Tsukauchi said.
"Green hair and green eyes, he was thin and looked younger, about 13-14 years old. I remember he was accompanied by his father, I remember his father had long black hair." Yagi said.
"I know! I know who is!" Tsukauchi said scared.
"If you know, then it will be easy to bring the child here." said Recovery girl.
"It's a little complicated." commented Tsukauchi.
"Like this?" asked Yagi.
"The boy is traumatized, he was kidnapped when he was 4 years old and was recently found. Currently, the person taking care of him is Shota Aizawa, hero codename Eraser Head."
"I can talk to Eraser Head at U.A, to do some tests on the boy." said Recovery girl.
"I think it better explains the situation too." commented Detective Tsukauchi.
"It's no problem with me, after all, he's the one taking care of the boy."
++ The next day at U.A ++
Aizawa didn't have much to do at U.A. since he expelled his entire class, so he had free time. When he arrived at the infirmary he was surprised when he saw the Detective and the blonde man that Izuku bumped into.
"I'm glad you came, please be sorry, we have a lot to talk about." said Recovery Girl.
After explaining a lot to Aizawa, he tells him the situation. Young Midoriya was the only hope for the symbol of peace. What he did makes him very nervous, if he had a chance to save the symbol he couldn't refuse. But he also wanted Izuku to have a normal life, away from these hero and villain things.
"I don't want to force Izuku to do anything he doesn't want to do." said Aizawa.
"Even so, he doesn't know how to control his quirk and it's very dangerous for him. You said that when he used it on the Yagi he slept all day. Taking these tests is good for him, and I won't force anything, if he doesn't want to do it that's fine." said Recovery Girl.
"About the tests I agree more, I think it's too much to put a responsibility on him." Aizawa commented worriedly.
"I would never do something like that to young Izuku. I want him to help me, but I won't put that pressure on him, you have my word." said Yagi.
After a while Aizawa agreed, but he still had doubts as to whether it was the right thing. Director Nezu was also notified, and he even said that he would love to meet the boy.
++The other day++
Izuku was finally going to visit U.A., the place was big, meaning that he didn't even let go of Aizawa's shirt for a moment. He was very scared of getting lost, but he was also nervous since he hadn't been to school in many years.
When he finally arrived at the infirmary he was surprised by the little lady who was in front of him. She had the look of a grandmother, who gave sweets to the children, that was the feeling Izuku had about her. He liked her right away.
"Hi Izuku, nice to meet you, I'm the heroine Recovery girl, but you can call me Chiyo." said Recovery girl
"Hi" Izuku said shyly.
"Do you know why you are here?" asked Recovery girl.
"To... Izuku... know... more... about... his... powers." Izuku said.
The Recovery girl thought the boy Izuku was cute, just thinking about his suffering made her very sad. The first tests were on animals, U.A called some veterinarians and they brought rescued animals. Some cats, dogs, and small birds. Izuku healed everyone, broken wings, and the healing of the paws was very fast.
The tests continued the next day, which was the day he knew the students would get hurt from today's training. Then Izuku cured several students, about 6 in total, with no side effects. The students even got excited, asking if he was her disciple.
The last test would be in a hospital, where they got some volunteers. First, they were with the volunteers who lost limbs, such as legs and arms. You don't even hear a change in the patients in this case, which was to be expected. No one was expecting him to be able to grow an arm or a leg.
The other volunteers were the patients, and there was no result either, at most I improved some pain. But he was also unable to cure diseases.
And lastly, the volunteers who were injured, which were severe to moderate injuries. And everyone was healed! The boy's healing was very strong, the injuries healed quickly. The healing left scars, depending on the injury, but nothing serious, the healing was still very good.
"So, Recovery girl, what do you think?" Aizawa asked.
"I have a theory. His quirk makes cells recover very quickly and even heals some damaged cells, of course, he can't magically make an arm or a leg appear out of nowhere if the person doesn't have one. But he is capable of healing serious injuries, which is already a lot. This makes his healing the best recorded." said Recovery Girl.
That's what she thought, Izuku's cure was a mystery, but most people accepted this theory, which explained a lot. He could heal damaged organs, not just anyone could do that. Izuku's only weakness was that he used up his energy, and healing an organ was quite tiring.
So the Recoveri girl decided that it would be better for All Might to have therapy sessions. Izuku had already been introduced to Yagi, but he needed to meet the hero. So a day was set for Izuku to meet the hero, Yagi was excited and wanted to be as charismatic as possible, since he wanted to impress and make Izuku happy.
All Might was nervous, behind the U.A. director's door was young Midoriya with his tutor Aizawa, and the girl from Recovery. He with his best smile walked through the door.
"Don't be afraid because I'm here!" he said happily posing like a superhero, to impress the young man. When she looked at him she noticed that tears were streaming down her face and he began to cry and scream.
This reaction was not what they expected.
Every time All Might got closer, Izuku screamed more, so he had to leave after a while. Aizawa managed to calm him down, but he had to take him home. The next day things were not going well!
Izuku fell silent again, just nodding like he did before he started talking. Even his therapist was worried because the boy had advanced a lot, and suddenly, out of nowhere, he regressed. She asked why. When? Where?
Many questions that Aizawa couldn't answer clearly, but he could tell half-truths. Aizawa told the therapist that Hero #1 would be UA's new teacher and that Izuku went to school with him and saw him, and that's when he had a meltdown. The therapist was attentive and said that she thinks what she knows is why he gets like this, but she would only discuss this subject at the next appointment.
Meanwhile, Yagi was very sad, he would never have imagined that the boy would react that way.
"There's no point in looking like an abandoned puppy." said the Recovery girl.
"I know, but..." Yagi said sadly.
"Nobody expected that, it wasn't just you who was surprised." commented the Recovery girl, taking a sip of tea.
"Soon Aizawa will know what happened, why he became like this. We just have to wait." commented director Nezu.
After 3 days Izuku just calmed down and started talking a little. But he still seemed very sad about what happened.
"I don't like seeing the boy like this." commented Hizashi.
"Me too, and I'm honestly a little sorry for having agreed to all of this." Aizawa said frustrated.
"But it's not your fault."
"This is wrong, it's my fault, I'm his guardian, I should know what's best for him."
"And now? What are you going to do?"
"First I'll see what the therapist suggests, and then if Izuku doesn't want to see All Might ever again, I'll make sure that wish comes true." Aizawa said, firm in his decision.
After a few more days, the Therapist decided to start therapies at home again, she thought it would be better to make him feel more comfortable talking. In the second therapy section, she would address the topic of All Might.
And so it was done, the first therapy went smoothly, what Aizawa was worried about was the next section. But she knew there was no way, he would be there if something wrong happened.
"Hi Izuku, how are you?" Akane asked.
But Izuku didn't say it in words but rather shook his head, saying he was fine.
"I know it's difficult for you right now, but you're trying so hard today, okay?"
Izuku once again said yes, nodding.
"I would like to know, why did you feel so bad when you saw All Might? "
Izuku felt bad about this question, why did he feel bad when he saw it? Could he express it in words? All Might for him was his hope, ever since he was kidnapped and taken to that horrible place. He always waited for his number 1 Hero to go and save him, not just him but the other children too.
Deep down he knows what happened there in that place, it wasn't stupid, it was a laboratory where they carried out experiments on people. But he always believed that one day he would be saved, but he never was. And so much happened, that Izuku just wanted to forget. But he would at least try to say what he felt.
" All...Might...never...came...saved me... " he said with tears in his eyes.
Akane confirmed his suspicions, since he was 4 years old, he had been waiting to be saved. Aizawa, who was listening to everything, was very sad and felt a tightness in his chest. Now they understood, All Might was the hope that never appeared.
"I understand Izuku, everything you went through must have been very painful, and it must have been very sad waiting for the hero who never appeared. But it's not All Might's fault, and the people who took you were at fault, no one knew where you were. And your mother never gave up looking for you, she never gave up. But I'm sure if any hero knew where you were, they would have come to save you."
Izuku stopped crying, he understood everything she said, but his hero didn't come to save him. But there was a hero who saved him and gave him a new home. Maybe it would be good to confront your former number 1 hero.
"Izuku...would...like...to...talk...to...All...Might." Izuku said, wiping away his tears.
Everything was prepared for Izuku to talk to All Might, maybe the second time right? Nobody else is sure of anything, and it was agreed that only Aizawa would be in the room with Izuku.
For the first time in his life, Yagi was nervous, after the boy's last reaction, and then knowing how bad he was, he didn't want to see Izuku anymore or ask for help. He knew he had been through a lot, but he didn't realize how stable he was.
The new meeting place would be in the teachers' break room, it was on a Sunday so there were no classes.
When Izuku opened the door, he saw for the first time that All Might wasn't smiling. Izuku was very brave and sat right in front of him. Aizawa stood leaning against the door watching the two, if anything happened he would enter the scene.
All Might was nervous, he couldn't face the child in front of him. Looking better, he was very thin and small for his age. Maybe it was too much for this child, he thought.
"Sorry." which surprised Yagi.
"No, don't apologize. You are not to blame for anything." he said nervously.
"When...I...saw...you...Izuku...remembered...when...he was...taken." he had difficulty speaking.
"I...was...waiting...for...you...all...this...time." Finally, Izuku managed to say.
"I'm sorry, if I had known where you were, know that I would have come to save you." he said being very honest.
"Thank you...for...telling...me." Izuku said with tears in his eyes. The therapist was right, if he had known he would have gone to save him.
All Might got up and knelt in front of the boy, which left him confused. He just wanted the hero to talk to him, not kneel in front of him with his head bowed.
"Izuku I need your help, I don't have much time. I fought against All for one and was seriously injured." said All Might then returning to his skeletal appearance.
Izuku was scared, and Aizawa was surprised by everything that was happening. Then Yagi raised his head, looking at the boy.
"I can't be All Might for a long time. I was seriously injured so I'm not able to save as many people as I used to. But you can save me Izuku, your quirk can make me better. I already feel a little better since the day I met you, so I wanted to ask you, could you be my Hero? Maybe it's a selfish desire, and I don't deserve to make this request, especially for you, but please, I beg you, help me." said Yagi, lowering his head again.
"Bruised."
For a moment Yagi was confused, but then I realized he wanted to see the wound. Then he lifted his shirt showing his huge bruise. What left Izuku shaken was very serious. Izuku started to glow, which made Yagi nervous, was the boy thinking about healing him now? But Aizawa arrived just in time to stop him.
"Izuku! You won't be able to heal him all at once. The wound is very serious, and you have little energy to heal a wound that size. That's why the Recovery girl thinks it's better to do it little by little. But let's not force you if you don't want to, nor blame you, the final word is yours and we will respect your decision." explaining everything.
Izuku didn't think much, in fact, he didn't even need to ask, he wanted help no matter who it was.
"Izuku... wants... help."
Yagi couldn't count his tears, for the first time he was crying with happiness.
"Thank you, my hero." Yagi said, holding up his hands in a gesture of thanks.
Izuku blushed and smiled, and his eyes filled with water. He thought they would never call him a hero, but here was Japan's #1 hero, saying he was their savior. Izuku was very excited and very happy because since he was a child he always wanted to be a hero.
The treatment would start as soon as possible, Izuku would treat All Might for the first time in the week and the meetings would take place in the U.S. He would take care of it, under the supervision of the Recovery girl. The session would last 20 or 30 minutes, using a little force, this was for Izuku's safety.
When the sessions began, both Izuku and Yagi were silent, in Izuku's case it was because he didn't talk much, but in Yagi's case, it was because he was embarrassed and didn't know how to start a conversation with the boy.
He even tried but he stopped every time he opened his mouth and the sound wouldn't come out. After 3 therapies, Yagi managed to ask Izuku how his week was going and he simply replied: "It was... Well."
But after the 8th session, Izuku brought her a drawing he made of the Recovery girl, and she was very happy.
"How beautiful Izuku, thank you, I loved it." said the girl from Recovery, putting her drawing in the folder.
Yagi just watched Izuku hand over the drawing and realized he didn't have one for himself. Yagi wanted the boy to like him, but he couldn't force a friendship, for Izuku he was a disappointment, he knew that.
When he felt someone pulling his sleeve.
"Izuku...will...make...a...drawing...for...you."
"You don't need to feel obligated to make one." said Yagi, unable to look the boy in the eye.
Izuku didn't say anything, just started the therapy session. Yagi had been sad and Izuku noticed it. He wants to be on good terms with the hero, he wants to leave the past behind and move forward.
So Izuku was going to do a different drawing this time, he wanted it to be like a message so he drew Yagi, not the hero but his current self, and he also drew himself.
The drawing was the two of them together and Izuku wrote: do you want to be my friend?
Had it been good? he needed an opinion.
"Father."
"Yes? What it was?" he asked, approaching him.
"Will...he...will...like it?" he asked, handing him the drawing.
"Of course, you will, don't worry." what Aizawa wanted to say was that Yagi would be happy with anything Izuku did.
Then in the next section, Izuku would hand over the drawing to All Might. The week passed quickly and then there was Izuku facing the U.A. infirmary.
"Good morning Izuku." said the Recovery girl.
"Good morning." said Izuku, taking out his drawing and heading towards the downed Hero.
"For you." Izuku said, handing over the drawing.
When Yagi saw the drawing, he couldn't contain his emotion, he started crying. This boy was very kind and had a good heart.
"Thank you, I loved it" he said very happily.
From that day on, the two began to form a good friendship, Yagi would visit Izuku at his house, just to chat or play with the boy. He often brought gifts, such as electronic games and some new game CDs.
Aizawa had to control the situation, Izuku could only play for a maximum of 1 hour a day, which he didn't mind because he wasn't very good, he looked like a 6-year-old playing. He liked playing games on his cell phone or watching videos more.
After a while Aizawa had a meeting, with the direct Nezu and the Recovery girl. They needed to create a study schedule for Izuku. Recovery girl had already written a letter of recommendation for U.A. and of course, Direct Nezu was going to accept it, he liked the boy and also saw what he was capable of doing. What was surprising was that All Might also wrote a letter of recommendation, he liked Izuku a lot.
"Certainly young Midoriya is needed for U.A, but I'm worried that he won't be able to keep up with classes, or even if it's too much for him." said the director.
"Understandable, I think he's very intelligent, but I don't know if he would keep up, since he's very shy and doesn't speak very well," commented Recovery girl.
"Maybe we should talk to your psychologist to see what she thinks?" Aizawa said.
"It's possible, with her help, we can create an ideal schedule for Izuku." commented Nezu.
"It shouldn't be complicated, he spent most of his time in the infirmary as an assistant to the Recovery girl." Aizawa said.
"Yes, but no, whether he likes it or not, his place is on the hero course, he will have to take part in some classes." said Nezu.
"If that's the case, he'll stay in my classes." Aizawa said a little irritated.
"I know you're being an overprotective father, but let the boy participate in other classes." said Recovery girl, laughing a little.
"Don't worry Aizawa, Izuku will be well taken care of, I'm sure everyone will love him." Nezu said excitedly.
After this meeting, I contacted therapist Akane, who suggested some things. Nezu invited Akane to do Izuku's therapy during some classes, he knows that it is important for the boy's development. He was a special student, and he had to be treated like one.
++ At the police department ++
"Please understand Mr. and Mrs. Bakugo, for Midorya's safety I can't say where he is or with whom." said Tsukauchi.
"Please, I just need to see him! His mother was my best friend." said Mitsuki.
"I understand, but believe me when I say he's fine." said Tsukauchi, tired of this situation.
"Please! Is there any way you can make an appointment to see him? It could be in a public place, we don't care." Said Masaru, who was holding his wife, comforting her.
"Okay, okay, I can talk to whoever is responsible for young Midoriya, but it will depend on him. If he thinks seeing you is bad for the boy, I don't think I can do anything." Tsukauchi said. He knew Aizawa wouldn't allow it, the boy had just experienced recent stress.
"Thank you for trying to help us. Here is my number, please call us to let me know." Masaru said gratefully. The Bakugou family soon gets up to leave.
The detective saw the Bakugo family leave his office, they looked like a normal family, he thought. But there was one thing that bothered him, the couple's son, who didn't say a single word, remained silent the entire time while his parents cried and begged to see young Midoriya. Maybe it's a difficult phase your teenager is going through.
But in the end, it wasn't his business, he was just worried about how he was going to warn Aizawa about it, maybe it would be better in person instead of on the phone.
After work Tsukauchi decided to go to Aizawa's house, right in front of the door the apartment bell rang, and it didn't take long to be answered.
"Detective Tsukauchi? Some problem?" Aizawa asked, surprised to see him.
"We can talk?"
"Yes of course! Come in, please." Aizawa said being polite.
When he entered the apartment he noticed a man he knew very well, who was playing with young Midoriya.
"YAGI!" said Tsukauchi, very surprised.
"Oh hello detective Tsukauchi, how are you?" said Yagi excited and smiling. Apparently, he seemed very well, it seems that the treatment is working.
"Well, why are you here?" he asked curiously.
"Young Izuku and I became friends, so sometimes I come to spend time here." said Yagi very happily.
"Yes friend." Izuku said happily.
"Sometimes? You come here almost every day." Aizawa said irritated.
"AND? Wow, I didn't even notice." said Yagi with a silly face.
Before this turns into an argument, Tsukauchi decides to interfere.
"Can we talk in private?" Tsukauchi asked.
Aizawa noticed the look Tsukauchi gave Midoriya, so he got the message. He wanted to talk about him, but not in front of him.
"Izuku, it's time for your bath." Aizawa said.
"Ahhh..." he said, sighing and getting up from the sofa.
"Come on, and don't forget to dry your hair well." Aizawa said, accompanying him to the bathroom and getting a towel for him.
While Aizawa helped Midoriya, Yagi was very curious as to why he was here wanting to talk to his friend and hero's tutor.
"Is there a problem Tsukauchi?" Yagi asked
"I hope not." he said to his friend.
"Apologies for the delay. I was helping Izuku, sometimes he forgets some things when he goes to take a shower." Aizawa said, returning to the room.
"It's okay, I never thought about seeing you acting like a father." Tsukauchi said happily.
"Do you want something to drink?" Aizawa asked.
"No thanks, I'll be brief." Tsukauchi said, sitting down.
"Today a family begged me so they could see Midoriya. Mrs. Inko was close to the Bakugo family. In the words of her best friend, she begged me to talk to you so your family could see you. I told her I would let you know, but that the decision was not in my hands." Finally, Tsukauchi said.
" Izuku just went through stress which made him regress and become closed off, it was a horrible moment, and honestly that's not what he needs right now." I say Aizawa is very sincere.
"It was my fault." Masaru looks at his friend confused.
"No! It was my fault, I should have seen this coming. So I won't make the same mistake, I'm sorry Tsukauchi, but my decision is no. It's too early for Izuku to see people from his past." Said Aizawa with his final decision.
"I understand perfectly, I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
"You're always welcome." Aizawa said, accompanying him to the door.
Closing the door, Aizawa returned to the room, seeing a somewhat sad and thoughtful Yagi.
"You know it wasn't your fault, Izuku has already forgiven you." commented Aizawa.
"I know, I was just thinking. Shouldn't you ask Izuku about Bakugo's?" asked Yagi.
"Not for now, in a few months his life will change, he will go to school and see lots of new people. And he's still healing you, and the healing sessions will increase to 3 times a week when he starts U.A. I don't want to overwhelm him anymore. So please don't say anything about this matter."
"You have my word I won't say anything." said Yagi, closing the subject.
++ At Bakugo's house ++
"I understand, thank you for trying." said Masaru, turning off the cell phone.
"What it was?" asked Mitsuki.
"It was Detective Tsukauchi, he told me that he contacted Izuku's tutor. "
"And then? Go tell me! " asked Mitsuki hopefully.
"He said that Izuku went through stress recently, and that's why his tutor thought it was better for him not to meet anyone." said Masaru.
His wife is sad, she wants to see him, but she understands that the boy is probably full of trauma.
"I think it's very selfish of me, you want to see him, right? I didn't even consider how he is or how he is feeling." said Mitsuki in tears.
"My love, don't cry! I'm sure he's fine, and we'll see him someday." said Masaru, warming his wife.
What they didn't know was that their son had the bedroom door open and was listening to his parents in the living room. Their parents may have given up on seeing Izuku, but Katsuki wouldn't give up!
Since the day Izuku was kidnapped, Katsuki knew it was his fault. Every day she asked herself what if he hadn't hit Izuku that day? That question haunted him to this day.
That day he changed, he stopped beating the weakest and moved away from his old friends who bullied him. He was still hot-headed, especially when people messed with him, but he also became a bitter and lonely boy.
After Izuku was taken he promised himself that he would be a better person, he is a good hero too. Remembering the promise he made when they were little that the two would be great heroes.
After that promise everything changed after he discovered that Izuku had no powers, why did he do that? he was a stupid child!
He also spent years watching Aunt Inko get more depressed every day, every year on her son's birthday she bought a cake and candles, along with a gift, and put a card that she wrote herself like: congratulations on your 5th birthday, you He must have grown a lot since he was 4 years old.
It was like that until I was 11 when Aunt Inko passed away. Katsuki's mother saved all the gifts and photo albums before the bank took the house and properties.
Katsuki also took something that belonged to Midoriya, his hero notebook, where he wrote down and drew various heroes. He clearly remembered him drawing and writing down the powers, he clearly remembered his face when he drew in the notebook, a happy and bright face.
Katsuki really wanted to see him and I asked for forgiveness, for everything.
After that day, Katsuki returned home very late at night, he walked through several neighborhoods deferentially asking if they had seen a boy with green hair and green eyes.
Of course, his parents scolded him late at night, but honestly Katsuki didn't care, he just wanted to find him.
++At Aizawa's house++
Therapist Akane suggested that Izuku leave the house alone, it would be a simple task to go to the market and buy something he asked for. But the days passed and Aizawa kept stalling, the boy got nervous in crowds, and that's why he was worried.
But after the scolding he received from the therapist, he decided that today was the day, the sky was clear and clear with no rain in the forecast.
Perfect day to go out.
"Izuku, can you come here? "
"Yes." Izuku said, getting up.
"Can you buy milk for me?"
"Milk?"
"Yes, milk. And we ran out of milk, and I have to work at the office and I won't have time to go shopping, so I would like you to go shopping in my place." trying to find an excuse.
"Alone?" Izuku asked worriedly.
"Come on, the market is nearby, I know you can do it. If anything happens, just call me on your cell phone." Aizawa trying to reassure him. But the boy didn't seem very excited, he was afraid of leaving the house.
"If you go out and buy milk, you can ask me for anything." Aizawa said trying to blackmail.
"Anything?" Izuku asked to confirm.
"Yes, you have my word. You can tell me what you want when you get back." handing over the money.
Then Izuku working up the courage left the apartment alone for the first time. When he arrived on the street he was a little nervous.
Izuku was focused all the time, trying at every step not to get nervous, it wasn't far, the market was close, he was just nervous, people made him nervous. He was isolated and hidden almost his whole life, so when he was around a lot of people he felt suffocated.
While walking, Izuku passed an alley. Looking to the side, I saw some boys in uniforms from some school intimidating another boy with purple hair.
"So villain, you think you're the best, right." said one boy in the group.
"Please leave me alone, I'm not a villain!" said the purple-haired boy firmly.
"You have a villain's quirk, of course, you are one." said the other boy.
"It's just tarnishing our school with you there." said the other laughing.
The boys started hitting the boy who was being bullied, leaving little Izuku horrified. That scene was dishonest 3 on 1.
For some reason, Izuku's feet moved on their own, when he noticed he was already in front of the injured boy defending him.
"Little boy where did you come from?" asked one of the boys.
"Step aside, he's a villain." said one of the boys, going to grab Izuku to get him out of the way.
"No !" Izuku said, starting to glow, using his quirk to light up the place.
Izuku was glowing, and lighting up that dark alley and attracting attention. The boys were confused and scared, and with this situation they ran away scared. Izuku saw the boys run away, and then turn to the boy sitting on the floor in surprise.
Izuku bends down and touches the injured boy, healing him in the process and then stopping glowing.
"You healed me." said the boy in surprise.
The boy didn't want to admit it but the boy shining like that looked like an angel. He was already used to this type of situation, the boys at his school always bullied him, but this was the first time someone defended him.
"Thank you very much, but you didn't need to take any chances." He said getting up.
"Izuku...did...what...he thought...right." He spoke with difficulty, he was still a little nervous from the adrenaline.
"Is your name Izuku?" The boy asked curiously and also noticed that the boy had difficulty speaking.
"Yes"
"My name is Hitoshi Shinso."
"Hitochan?"
Hitoshi was surprised by the nickname and also found it cute at the same time.
"Izuku...has...to...buy...milk."
"There's a market nearby, do you want me to accompany you?"
"Yes." said shyly.
Hitoshi then accompanied Izuku to the market, while the boy walked while holding his shirt. He noticed that the boy was much smaller than him, he wondered if he was 3 years or 2 years younger than him. And because the boy looked like a scared rabbit and had difficulty speaking. There were many doubts.
Hitoshi helped him with everything, the boy was really very scared and could barely communicate, he didn't even seem like the boy a short time ago defended him from 3 boys. He helped him with everything, even when it was time to pay he had to help, which didn't bother him since he felt he owed it to the boy.
When he left the market, Hitoshi was thinking of some excuse to see him again, but he couldn't think of a good excuse.
He never had a single friend, he was always a lonely boy. Since he discovered his peculiarity he was always treated differently, not even his parents wanted him so he was living with his grandparents, the only family that cared about him and liked the way he was.
"Your quirk is cool, you healed me fast."
"I'm...happy...to...help." Izuku said embarrassed.
"Maybe if I had a quirk similar to yours, those kids would leave me alone."
"What...is...the...peculiarity...of...Hitochan?"
"Brainwashing, and the name of my peculiarity, I can control some people, just for them to respond to me." Hitoshi said, a little worried. Because whenever he explained how his quirk worked, people always walked away.
"Cool! Hitochan...will...save...many...people...with...his...individuality." Izuku said excitedly but with difficulty speaking.
What Izuku didn't expect was for Hitoshi to start crying, a tear fell from his eyes and then a bunch began to fall. Izuku was adjusted, he didn't know what to do, I desperately grabbed the sleeve of his coat and started to dry his face. Hitoshi found that gesture cute, even though it was a little clumsy.
"Izuku?"
He heard a voice calling him, and when he turned around his father was a little sweaty, as he was taking a while Aizawa I was worried about the little one running out of his apartment.
"Daddy... help!"
Aizawa didn't know what happened, but since his troubled son had asked for help he couldn't refuse.
"Boy, are you okay? Are you feeling something?"
"I'm fine, there's no need to worry." still crying.
"You better calm down and drink something, my apartment is nearby, let's go." said Aizawa leading him along with Izuku.
Arriving at the apartment Hitoshi had already calmed down, Aizawa prepared some hot tea for the young man.
"Thanks."
"It's chamomile tea, it's good for calming down."
"And...the...Izuku?" he asked, waiting for his drink.
"How about some hot chocolate? Where is the milk you were buying?"
"Here!" said Izuku showing the bag.
"Very well Izuku, I'm proud." Aizawa said, stroking his hair.
"Where do you study?" asked Hitoshi.
"At home."
"Aren't you going to school?" asked Hitoshi in surprise.
"Izuku...go...to...school...later." he said excitedly.
"Izuku is a special boy, he had a lot of problems, that's why I'm organizing things for him so that everything goes well when he goes back to school."
"Sorry, I was rude."
"No, it wasn't, and it's normal to be curious. According to your uniform, you study at a school nearby." Aizawa commented, looking at the uniform.
"Yes! My name is Hitoshi Shinso, I'm in my final year and I'm 15 years old, and I'm going to apply for the hero course at U.A."
"My name is Aizawa Shota. Hero course at U.A? The tests are very different from my time, what is their peculiarity?"
"Brainwashing, I can control people when they respond to me." Hitoshi said in anguish and with his head lowered.
"I understand what is happening, you are suffering from peculiar prejudice, right?"
"How did you..." Hitoshi was surprised.
"I'm a teacher, I notice when my students are distressed by something, and I've heard of many cases like this. Which I sincerely despise, a quirk doesn't make a person good or bad, the character does."
Hitoshi was once again taken by surprise and started crying again, Izuku got up and went over to give him a hug, which Hitoshi didn't hesitate to return.
"You can cry, crying is good. It relieves some of the pain in your chest."
Hitoshi didn't know how long he cried, but little by little he calmed down. Until he let go of Izuku's hug and finally calmed down.
"I'm sorry, I'm fine." Once again apologize for crying.
"I can go to your school to solve this problem." Aizawa, is determined to fix these clueless students.
"No, please! I'm fine, I promise! And I'm already graduating so it wouldn't do much good."
"About the U.A. tests, can I be honest?" asked Aizawa.
"Yes please."
"You won't be able to pass." Aizawa said dryly.
"But how so." Hitoshi was shocked, the man who had comforted him now just said that he wouldn't pass the U.A. exam.
"It's not that I think your quirk is bad I think it's amazing. This opens up a lot of doors for fighting villains. But unfortunately, the U.A. approval method is not honest for those who have this type of peculiarity. Honestly, I'm fighting for this to be changed, but so far I haven't been able to. In my time, evaluations were different and I honestly preferred it to go back to the old system.
But to be quite frank now, the way it is you won't be able to pass the exam."
"Is there nothing I can do?" asked Hitoshi determinedly.
"The way I see it possible for you to enter is to try at the sports festival and stand out so you can be transferred, but this option is really difficult because you will have to face all the students and be the first."
"It may be difficult but it's not impossible, right? I won't give up, I'll be a Hero! I'm going to prove to everyone that I'm not a villain."
Izuku's eyes shone, impressed by his determination to be a hero. Izuku had this when he was younger, but he had lost that desire a long time ago. Aizawa also smiled at the young man's determination.
"There is another method too, but this one depends a lot."
"And which one is it?" Hitoshi asked curiously.
"It's getting a hero's attention and having him write a letter of recommendation."
"Is that serious?" asked Hitoshi, a little surprised.
"Yes of course, depending on the Heroes' rank or their recognition by the Heroes' society, a letter of recommendation is worth a lot. But if it's low-rank heroes, the cards aren't worth much and the director can refuse. But generally, this happens very rarely, but it is the only way to study at U.A without taking the exam."
"I think my options are all difficult."
"Whatever it is, know that the path to being a hero is not easy. Be prepared for the difficulty that awaits you."
"Yes! I already knew that my path was going to be difficult, I will not give up." Hitoshi is a little relieved, even though it's difficult he'll try.
"Izuku...will...root...for...Hitochan."
"Thank you Izuku, I'm glad you're rooting for me." placing his hand on Izuku's head, stroking him.
"Well, Izuku will be happy that his new friend will study at U.A. too." commented Aizawa, taking the glasses off the table.
"Izuku is going to study at U.A.!?" asked Hitoshi in surprise.
"Yes, he received 2 letters of recommendation. Against my will." Aizawa said, sighing loudly.
"Wow, Izuku! You received two letters, it makes sense your quirk is amazing," commented Hitoshi innocently, not knowing that this comment would get his friend into trouble.
"Do you know about his peculiarity? That means he wore it in public. Izuku, how many times do I have to tell you not to use your quirk on the street? I'm going to ground you again." Aizawa said angrily.
Izuku was on the verge of tears, he was sad for having disappointed his father once again. He was stronger than him, he couldn't see a person hurt.
"Don't fight with him, it's all my fault! I was being bullied and they were hitting me, and Izuku saved me, please don't punish him for helping me." Hitoshi stood up and lowered his head apologizing.
"Okay, I'll let this one pass. This time." Aizawa stroked Izuku's head, showing that everything was okay.
"It's getting late, I think I should go home, my grandparents must be worried," said Hitoshi looking out the window.
"It's true, do you want me to accompany you?"
"No need, I can go alone."
"He is well."
"Can I come back Izuku?"
"Yes...Izuku...would...be...happy." said happily.
"Thank you, Izuku, you are my first friend. Can we exchange number? " asked Hitoshi excitedly.
"Number?"
"Your cell phone Izuku, I'll help you." said Aizawa, taking out his cell phone and teaching.
Hitoshi was very happy and so was Izuku, he was his first friend.
"I'll send you a message when I get home. Thank you for everything."
"See... you... tomorrow?"
"See you tomorrow Izuku, after class, I'll come."
Hitoshi, for the first time in his life, had great emotions, he had never cried so much in his life. But also an adult had a very serious and honest conversation with him and made a friend for the first time who thought his quirk was cool. This truly was the happiest day of his life. Hitoshi was so happy and distracted that he accidentally bumped into someone.
"Watch where you're going!" said the Angry boy.
"I'm sorry, I was distracted." he said apologetically.
After the angry speech the boy left, Hitoshi had to admit the boy was intimidating with those red eyes and pointy blonde hair.
It's a good thing he left, but he thought it was strange that his uniform wasn't from that neighborhood.
But he let it go, it wasn't his business, and also the only thing Hitoshi wanted at the moment was to get home and send a message to Izuku.
