Chapter 3: A Friendship in the Wild West
The two then walk to the ledge, Octavius lowers a rope, saying kindly, "You first, my lady.", the goddess places her left hand on his neck, rubs it, and says, "Thank you, dearest. Say could I call you 'Tavius'?" The man smiles, runs his fingers of his two hands through her curly hair, and tells her, "You may call whatever pleases you, sweet girl." She then goes down the rope followed by Octavius, they then walk to where they're under the wild west display, Octavius yells hoping that Jed could hear him, luckily his pal heard him, Jed looks down and says with a grin, "Ah Ockie, I see you've got a new friend. I'll throw a rope down and let ya both up here."
Soon the three are inside a small home, which was Jed's home, they all sat on the mini couch, Jedediah looks at the new girl, saying, "So you're new here, I'm Jedediah." Rebecca places her left hand on his shoulder, "It's nice to meet you, Jedediah.", "Please call me Jed for short." Jed then turns toward Octavius, "So Ockie, whatcha been up to since Gigantor left?", "Oh the usual, trying to expand my land. Anything new going on with you?", Jedediah smiles, he then chuckles while saying, "Just been tryin' to blow up mountains and finish the railroad for Manifest Destiny."
Rebecca leans back, "You've got a nice house, Jed. Also you're very kind.", this makes the cowboy grin and tell her, "Well it was actually the work of designers, but thank you, sweet cheeks." Octavius growls at this remark, and soon Jed turns Rebecca's way, grabs her wrist, pulls her up, leans in, and before Rebecca could react or say anything Jed's lips met hers, he runs his other hand down her back.
Octavius growls more, but his girl pushes the cowboy away quickly, "Hey! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!", Jed grabs her hands, looks deep into her eyes and tells her, "You're so gorgeous, I had to kiss ya." Rebecca slaps him, "I'm with Tavius!", Octavius tells the cowboy, "You didn't even ask her if you could kiss her!!" Rebecca nods, Jed sighs, "I'm sorry I became entranced.. But can we be friends? I promise to keep things friendly." Rebecca smiles, "Well if you promise then yes.", Octavius nods, "Just make sure you do so."
