Happy Tuesday!!
So I apologize again for Blaine's behavior in this chapter. I hate making him unlikable, but I had too in order to make Sam and Kurt a little more exciting, but don't worry, he won't be get any worse then this!
Enjoy!!
He felt the boy's fingers trial into his as Kurt laid on the bed. Blaine was hovering over him as he gently met their lips together. It was deep but nothing more intimate than that.
Blaine smiled into the kiss and ran his fingers up Kurt's soft skin. Underneath his shirt. He went all the way to his chest and pressed his leg up against Kurt's crotch. Kurt stirred underneath him and adjusted his position. He released one hand from Blaine's cheek to remove his fingers from underneath his shirt.
Blaine grunted as he bit down on Kurt's lips, making him whine quietly.
"What?" Kurt asked, as he broke the breathy kiss. Blaine rolled his eyes slightly, and then pulled away. "You're so irritating."
He got up from the bed and fixed his shirt, as Kurt was still there.
"What did I do?" Kurt asked, getting irritated as well.
Blaine ran his fingers through his hair and turned around to face his confused boyfriend.
"We've been dating for months and you never let me go to second base." Blaine almost whined. Kurt has never heard him whine before.
Kurt didn't know what to say. He sat up more and kept his eyes on his boyfriend. "'I'm just–" He began. Not knowing how to end.
"I know. I know." Blaine sighed, calming down slightly. "You're scared. But I have need to, Kurt. It's not all about you." He gestured to the boy. He turned around and faced the mirror, so he could glare at him through the object.
Kurt wonders what has been Blaine's deal recently. He has always been assertive but not this assertive. "What's going on?" He asked, as he got up from the bed and placed a hand on his shoulder from behind.
Blaine finally sighed. Fixing his tie. "Nothing, it's just…" He turned around to face the boy.
Kurt expected him to say more but he didn't. He just gripped his shoulder. "It's nothing." He gave Kurt the lightest kiss to the forehead he has ever felt.
Kurt was left alone in the room. Nothing was going right for him.
Earlier that week, Kurt invited Blaine to the fundraiser McKinley was having, even though the tension they were feeling with one another.
He showed Blaine around. Showing him his old locker, the courtyard, the locker room, and the choir room.
As they walked in the Hallway, they were stopped by a familiar, and not so pleasant face.
"What are you doing here?" Karofsky asked the couple, as they turned around in surprise.
"The benefit, don't tell me that you're going?" Kurt muttered, trying not to engage in the conversation.
"I wouldn't be caught dead." The larger boy smirked. "I was pumping iron at the gym and a few guys told me that you were here spreading your fairy dust all over the place."
Kurt was about to respond, but Blaine held him back. He stepped up to the football player. "Would you just give it up? You can live with any lie you want but you can pretend the three of us don't know what's really going on here." He smirked, and Kurt tensed as he saw the redness form in Karofsky's face.
"You don't know squat, butt boy." He huffed at the smaller boy.
Blaine shoved him back. He was strong for his size. Karofsky now pushed him back. It kept going until it escalated some more.
Sam hears the commotion, and runs into the hallway. He grabbed Blaine back, and kicked Karofsky off as well.
"You're good with your fist but you're a coward when it comes to the truth." Kurt huffed as he exclaimed through the fight.
"Don't forget that I know the truth as well, karofsky." Sam yelled as he pushed Karofsky into the wall.
"Come on, I can take on two queers. What's one more?" Karofsky chuckled, trying not to look phased.
Sam raised his fist and grunted. "I beat you up once, I can do it again. Right here, right now."
He was shorter than Karofsky but tried to seem taller. "I suggest you beat it before I knock the truth right out of you." He breathed into his face. Noses almost touching.
"Oh yeah?" Karofsky asked, trying to appear tough. "Yeah…" Sam confirmed.
Karofsky shoved the boy off, almost making him land on the floor. "Well, I know the truth too. You're not hot stuff, Evans! Don't think I haven't seen you around, and the way you hide. You're just as scared as I am." He huffed back into his face.
Sam tried to not show fear, but he swallowed visibly. Karofsky broke free from Sam's grip and ran down the hallway, before he got in trouble again.
"We could have handled that." Blaine grunted, as he crossed his arms. Sam turned back and saw the smile on Kurt's face.
"It's more fun as a team."
The fundraiser went well.
Well… as good as expected…
Except for that Asian girl who got booed off the stage. That was unfortunate.
Every single time Kurt is with the New Direction, he seems so happy. Blaine sighed seeing this but drove him home anyway.
The apartment was dim. The paint was nearly falling off the walls. Sam may have found a cockroach or two on the floor but lucky his brother was brave enough to kill them.
"Sammy? Am I going to get my room back?" Stacy whined as she laid on the lumpy bed. She had a coloring book lying down.
Sam sat down next to her as the bed squeaked. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "Someday." He kissed her hair. Looking down at the flower she was coloring in.
The T.V was on. Stevie was distracted by the talking yellow sponge they were watching who lives in a pineapple under the sea.
Sam enjoys it too. He would be lying if he said he didn't.
The boy felt a vibration in his pants pocket. He hummed as he took it out to read the text message he received.
He grunted when he read it.
Sam! We need you down at the club! We're down a stripper. Come over at soon as possible!
Sam sighed. He's not proud of this job, but it's what he has to do to help his siblings.
"What's that?" The younger brother asked, he hopped on the squeaky bed to check the phone, out of curiosity.
"It's mom." Sam lied. "She says goodnight"
The siblings lie on the same bed, bouncing up and down. Sam got up and tried to tuck them in, which wasn't the easiest task.
"Goodnight." The two Evan siblings exclaimed at the same time.
Sam turned off the lights. He was sitting there by himself, at a loss of what to do. This boss needed him but he couldn't leave his siblings.
This was getting to be way too much. He ran his fingers through his hair, and released the pent up emotions he has been keeping inside for too long.
He is sick of being brave…
He was stuck.
He needed help…
And only one person could help.
"Kurt?" Sam called, as his voice cracked. His phone pressed against his ear. He tried to make his voice as quiet as possible.
"What's wrong?" Kurt asked, not skipping a beat. His heat clenched, hearing the desperation in his voice.
"I need your help." He whispered as he heard his siblings stir from behind him. "Where are you?" Kurt asked. He was sitting in his own bed. Got woken up by the call but his tiredness was gone. He whispered as well, trying to keep his voice down for Blaine sleeping in his own bed.
"I'll send you my address." Sam sighed.
"I'll be there." Kurt nodded, he immediately hung up. Just slowly got up from his bed. He tipped over till he got to the other side.
"Kurt?"
The boy cringed as he heard the tired voice of his boyfriend. He didn't quite turn around to face him, but he raised his voice loud enough to hear.
"What's happening?" Blaine asked, as he rubbed his eyes.
Kurt sighed. He had to lie about this. He had to.
"Family emergency." He spoke as he left the room, without another word.
Blaine sighed as he laid back
Sam.
It's always Sam…
He just knew it.
Kurt made it to an old motel. He looked at the address Sam sent again. It had to be wrong. This looks like one of the old hooker motels. Not safe for a sixteen year old boy.
He knocked on the door that was said to be Sam's room. He sighed with relief when he saw him open the old doors.
"Sam." Kurt breathed.
He was caught off guard when he was embraced in a tight hug. Sam wrapped his arms around the boy in front of him. His hand cradles his head and his face in his neck.
Kurt heard his uneven breathing. Was he crying?
"It's okay." Kurt hugged back. He stroked his blonde hair, and whispered in his ear. Sam gripped Kurt's shoulder and pulled him into a dark room. Kurt blushed at this weird act for some reason.
"I have no one to look after them." Sam sniffed as he gestured to two little children tucked in bed. Kurt almost gasped. He almost forgot Sam had siblings, and the fact they had to stay here. In this motel. ..
"I have to work." Sam spoke quietly, in an attempt to not wake them up. His eyes looked desperate.
"Work? Now?" Kurt was caught off guard, as he checked the time. Sam nodded as he looked away. He wiped the loose tears away and grabbed his bag.
"Is it the pizza parlor?" Kurt asked, as he stopped Sam mid step.
The blonde boy cringed. He wanted to stop lying, but he couldn't deal with the judgement. Not yet.
"Yeah, the pizza parlor." Sam muttered, as he looked away. "I hate to ask you this but can you please watch them for a few hours? I have nowhere else to go. I hate to–" Sam trailed off. He realized how crazy this sounded. He shouldn't have called Kurt on a school night.
Kurt must have sensed his nerves, and placed his hands on his moist cheeks. Tempted to stroke them but he held back.
"Of course I will watch them." Kurt smiled, with his gentle voice. A voice so soothing it can put a newborn baby to sleep.
Sam gave a watery smile. "You're the best!" He nodded. He gave him a little hug, as he immediately grabbed his bed and left as quietly and quickly as possible.
Kurt sat on the bed and looked around at the dark room. There were three suitcases here. One for each of them. He gasped at how little they had. He looked over at the children sleeping. He didn't look too long, he figured that might be creepy.
He noticed that Sam's brother looked just like him. A little Sam. The girl did too. She is just like him.
Kurt lied down on the spare bed. He has a feeling Sam was lying again. He is a man of many secrets.
He shook his head and got out his phone. There is no way the pizza place is open at 2 in the morning. There is no way. As he was about to look it up, he heard a slight noise behind him.
He winced as he heard the child.
"Sammy?" He heard a little voice. The girl.
"Hi." He whispered as he slowly walked up to her, trying not to scare the poor girl. "I'm Kurt. A friend of Sammy. He asked me to watch you, but he'll be back real soon, okay?"
Thank God the little girl was still half asleep. She didn't question the strange boy's present all that much. She just smiled warmly at him, eyes still closed. "Okay." She yawned, and not a second later, he heard her breathing even out. Indicating she was fast asleep once more.
He went back to his phone and just as he predicted.
The pizza parlor was closed.
