"Talk"
'Thought'
"Woah…"
High Elf Archer, after such a rude awakening from a certain knight almost killing someone, was currently looking out the window and looked at everything with such a wide-eyed expression.
"I never thought I would ever be in another world, especially one so advanced."
High Elf Archer was in awe and full of wonder as she saw the lively city of "Red Grave". She saw tall buildings with glowing lights, wagons driving by themselves without horses, and people, while mostly humans, came in all shapes, sizes, and styles. And so much more, the elven huntress was definitely at a loss for words.
"My my, how unfortunate my Dwarven brethren can't be here to admire the wonderful new technology."
As for the Dwarf Shaman, he seemed more curious and interested with the otherworldly technology itself, evidenced by him taking a good and closer look at a random machine that creates unfamiliar music, trying to understand and figure out how it works or made.
"Not to mention, other worldly beer~"
Though it wasn't the only thing that had the Dwarf Shaman's attention, he took a glance at the beer can in his hand and took a big chug from it, clearly enjoying the experience of other-world drinks.
"TO THINK WE FOUND THE PERFECT WAY TO USE CHEESE IN A MEAL!~"
However, the bearded man wasn't the only one sampling what the new place had to offer. For instance, both the Lizard Priest and his fellow holy human girl were currently enjoying themselves with a box of pizza.
"I truly must be in the world of the Gods~"
It was very obvious that the Lizard Priest enjoyed the food, not only by his words, but his expression and his wagging tail were a dead give away as well.
"S-Sir Goblin Slayer? Would you like a slice of this, um, what was it called again?"
Priestess, trying her best to look calm and proper, though her childish side was starting to slip out, she tried to share the pizza with her mentor, Goblin Slayer, who was currently sitting next to Guild Girl and in the middle of speaking with Dante, who was the one who brought the pizza and was having a slice for himself.
"Pizza, and no, not right now."
Goblin Slayer shakes his head and allows his partner to enjoy herself, wanting to focus on what was happening right now. The holy girl pouts but knows what he's doing is important, so she says nothing and just eats her pizza, but makes sure to listen to the conversation.
"I have to say, surprised you guys are taking all of this so well, thought you all would be more freaked out to be in another world."
Dante couldn't help but be confused yet impressed to see the group handling everything so well, clearly expecting them to freak out more, though he was glad he didn't have to deal with that.
"I won't deny, this is definitely something we haven't experienced before, and most of us aren't particularly happy about this."
Guild Girl seemed to be one in charge of talking with the man in red, having more experience with "Negotiations" and such, but even with professionalism, it was clear to everyone that she was one of the few who didn't like what was happening.
"But in the world filled with magic, monsters, and Godly or Demonic figures, plus among other things, well, let's just say this isn't the worst dice roll we could've received."
However, the Guild Girl managed to stay calm, as she focused on what was important now and more or less tried to see the bright side of the situation.
"Yeah, the worst outcome would've been ending up in another world filled with Goblins, right Orcbolg?~"
High Elf Archer looked away from the window and back at the one she calls "Orcbolg", wearing a teasing smirk when she said this to him.
"Hm."
Goblin Slayer didn't really say anything to that, still paying attention to the conversation and hopefully learning something useful that could help deal with the current problem they were having.
"Well, to be honest, I wouldn't really complain I guess, as long as the world has pizza and strawberry sundae, I would be happy."
Dante shrugs, while not interested in traveling through worlds now, he can't imagine himself being too upset about it.
"S-Strawberry Sundae?!~"
The Lizard Priest perks up at the mention of "Strawberry Sundae", no doubt very curious on how that tasted, the religious blonde had to calm and pull him back down.
"And here I thought I'll be the only plump adventurer here~"
The Dwarf Shaman couldn't help but laugh as he decided to take a seat and enjoy himself a slice of pizza with the group, all while taking another swing of his can beer.
"However, with all that said, even though the world we're in now isn't dangerous to us, our situation still isn't ideal."
Guild Girl decided to bring everything back on topic and continue to explain how everything still wasn't perfect, despite being alive and together.
"Let me guess, you're now homeless, jobless and have no money to survive here?"
Dante could already assume the issue and was about to offer some solutions.
"We have money."
However, the mention of money, Goblin Slayer quickly pulls out a large brown bag and places it on the table.
"Woah! Are these real gold coins?"
Dante immediately went eyes wide to see that the brown bag was filled to the brim with Gold coins, clearly wasn't expecting this.
"Yes, does your world not use Gold coins as currency?"
Guild Girl tilts her head, a bit worried that the money they have would be useless.
"Can't say we do, we mostly use paper money these days."
Dante reached in the bag and pulled out one of the coins, taking a moment to get a closer look at it.
"But I don't think that would matter to you, since if this is real gold, then you could probably survive for quite a while with this alone."
After Dante reassured the group that the gold would do a lot to help them survive, most couldn't help but sigh in relief, since the major and immediate issue was already taken care of for now.
"Aren't we lucky to have gotten Gold before being sent to another world."
Priestess sighs, while not doubting that her team wouldn't survive even if they didn't have money, it still made things easier.
"Even if we have the proper funding to keep us sustainable for now, we still need to find a way to have steady income when we eventually run out or get our gold stolen."
Guild Girl was also glad for having a good start, but still wasn't satisfied just yet, since she knew very well that she couldn't just bet everything with what they have now when it came to money.
"Dante was it?"
The Guild Girl looked back at the man in red.
"Oof, feels weird to be the only one with a real name, maybe I should have a title, to feel more included~"
Dante couldn't help laughing to himself, realizing how everyone had titles and he was the only one with a name, it made him want to think of a title for himself.
"I know we're asking a lot, but is it possible for you to help us get, "Settled In", we'll pay you of course for your assistance."
Guild Girl continues to speak with the only native of the world they're stuck in, requesting for help and even offering to repay him for any assistance he could give them.
"Well can't say no to gold, now can I?~"
Which Dante did without hesitation, both because of the money and because, well, he wasn't heartless to ditch these now homeless people. In fact, he even had an idea on how he could help them. Not only to make money but even get a job as well. He reached out and grabbed his phone off to the side. Everyone just sat there in silence as they watched him quickly make a phone call to a certain someone.
"Hey Morrison, have any missions for me yet?~"
While I don't mind calling them "Goblin Slayer" or "Priestess", I think it's time I give them names, unless you don't want that, what do you think? Should I give them names or no?
(Obviously Goblin Slayer and his friends will be fighting Demons, and soon Goblins, to make money, but for Guild Girl, I'm thinking she'll be working with Morrison, as well as be in charge of making phone calls and keeping track of the money)
