Thor and Erza collided causing a large shockwave of lightning and flame that forced them both back.
Thor was the first to get back into position and threw a large hammer blow at Erza, but Erza used her spear to slightly deflect Mjolnir and landed on her feet behind Thor with a somersault.
[They're both evenly matched. That's... awesome!] Heimdall yelled as humanity's cries of support rang out.
VIP DIVINE LODGE
"Ho ho ho I admit she's doing well for a human but to say they're evenly matched." Zeus said with a wicked smile " She won't be able to face Thor's all-powerful. "
"Don't come forward like that Zeus." said the author, drawing the attention of the king of Olympus. "Look better."
Zeus looked from an objective point of view and was surprised.
Erza once again dodged an attack from Thor with her spear and delivered a punch so powerful to the god's chin that he flew a few centimeters off the ground despite his 440 lbs.
But it wasn't over yet because while Thor was still in the air Erza performed a magnificent spinning kick that hit Thor right in the solar plexus taking his breath away.
"In. . . incredible. In fact it seems like . . . "
"Indeed father, this human is dominating the fight for the moment." said Hermes.
"She's used to fighting and weapons, that's obvious. She hasn't made any unnecessary movements and Thor hasn't even managed to touch her yet." The author said before placing his fingers under his chin in a questioning manner. "I must admit that Brunhilde and Zero made an excellent choice."
COMBAT GROUND
Thor had barely caught his breath when he launched a powerful attack again but Erza launched herself towards him surrounded by flames and again sent a huge punch into the god's stomach making him back away again.
"You know what your problem is Thor? You rely on your brute strength so you only launch broad attacks that are easy to avoid. So against an opponent faster than you you can't do much."
In the stands the gods couldn't believe their eyes. Their representative the almighty Thor was losing.
"Oh no! Pull yourself together Thor! You can do it, your opponent is just a simple human, if an attack hits her it's over!" yelled a little god with glasses and white hair.
[Norse God of Reconciliation: FORSETI]
"Come on Erza, you're almost there! One more good attack and you'll send that cheap prince back to his fucking castle!" yelled a muscular young man with pink hair.
[Dragon Slayer: NATSU DRAGNIR] (Fairy Tail)
"OH! What insolence!" shouted Forseti, all red.
"There's no denying that Erza is really strong!" a pretty blonde-haired woman yelled in admiration.
[Constellationist Mage: LUCY HEARTFILIA] (Fairy Tail)
"It's clear she'll be done soon."
"No, I don't think so." said a muscular man with black hair.
[Ice Mage: GRAY FULLBUSTER] (Fairy Tail)
"You can't stop being defeatist Grey." Natsu sighed.
"I'm just paying attention, moron. Look, Thor, that attack barely did anything to him."
In fact, although he was on one knee, Thor only showed minor injuries and superficial burns.
"That's because the boss has been nice so far, if she used her most powerful spells I'm sure she'd make short work of it." Lucy said.
"I'm not so sure about that." Grey muttered, narrowing his eyes at Thor.
BACK IN THE ARENA
While he was still on his knees and his head bowed, Thor suddenly started laughing.
"What are you laughing at, thunder god?"
"You want me to call you human? . . . You're right," Thor said before getting up.
The god then stretched out his arm which was surrounded by some of the most powerful electrical energy Erza had ever seen and for the first time he held Mjolnir with both hands.
"It's time for me to stop playing and move on."
Before Erza could ask anything Thor moved so fast that he completely disappeared from her field of vision and before she could even turn her head Thor reappeared behind her with his blow already armed.
Erza managed to block the hammer with her spear in extremis but she could only cushion Thor's attack a little this time.
The impact of the hammer threw her off and made her roll several times on the arena floor until she managed to slow down by planting her spear in the ground.
[That's it! Thor's attack finally landed and it looks like it hurt!] " Heimdall yelled to cheers from the gods' camp.
"Go Thor!"
"This is the god we know!"
"I am the god of thunder, little human. I don't just have the strength, I have the speed." said Thor.
Erza got up with some difficulty, several scratches and a large hole on the chest of her armor
"This is the first time I've seen one of Erza's armors break!" Natsu yelled, his eyes bulging like Lucy's.
"It's my first time too." A small blue cat said as it landed on Natsu's shoulder.

"I told you, fighting a god is no easy feat, you should know that after all we've all done it before." Gray said.
"So you're saying Erza is going to lose Gray?" asked a woman with long blue hair in winter clothes and teary eyes.

Gray narrowed his eyes at his boss and answered with a single word.
" No "
BACK IN THE ARENA
Erza got into a fighting stance and smiled back.
"You don't seem very surprised."
"What do you think, Thor? This isn't the first time an opponent has hidden his strength to take me by surprise."
"I have no doubt about it, little human. I also suspect you of hiding your true power from me." Thor said before arming his hammer. "What do you say we get down to business?"
" My pleasure ! "
Erza then pointed her spear towards the sky and a flaming energy much more powerful than the one seen previously surrounded her forming a large spiral of flame. It continued to grow and became so powerful that the audience had to shield their eyes and could feel the heat from their position.
[It's incredible!] Heimdall yelled as he tried to grip the ground with his other hand to keep from flying away. [It seems like Erza decided to use her mage powers! The power of the flames keeps getting stronger!]
" Soaring Fire Blade !"
The immense spiral of flame then engulfed the shocked looking Thunder God as a huge explosion covered the arena in smoke.
"Yeah, too strong Erza!"
"We hear less from you gods, eh?"
" Impossible ! "
"A human can't do that!"
"This is not possible!" Huginn yelled.
"Thor has been engulfed in flames!" Muninn yelled.
"Is Lord Thor dead?!"
"Be quiet." Odin said softly, instantly silencing the two ravens. "Don't be stupid."
But once the smoke cleared everyone was shocked. Thor was standing using Mjolnir as a shield with only a few injuries.
"You're tough."
" So this is the power of humans ." Thor thought as electricity began to surround him and Mjolnir making the earth shake.
"Thor will be done in no time. I bet he's already bored with this fight." Huginn said.
"No. I'm sure that for once he is satisfied with his opponent." said Muninn.
"[Oh what's happening?! Thor looks like he's losing his balance! He's falling backwards!] Heimdall yelled as he saw Thor leaning back holding Mjolnir in both hands.
But Thor's back tensed at the last moment as his body formed a perfect arc.
" [Oh no he's not falling, he's getting ready to strike!] "
Now it was Thor's turn to show his true power. He gripped Mjolnir tightly before straightening his back in one go.
Mjolnir struck the ground generating an overpowered electric wave heading straight for Erza.
But the mage didn't move. She only closed her eyes with a serene look as the powerful electric wave engulfed her and the entire arena.
Once again the power to shake all the stands
Flashback ~1000 years ago
CITY OF ASGARD
We find ourselves in a city on top of a hill surrounded by a huge wall.
(In the past, Asgard, the city of the gods, was surrounded by an immense wall)
(To protect her from the giants of Jotunheim)
At the top of the main wall were 3 guardian angels equipped with full red armor.
"How boring we are!" said one of the angels, yawning openly.
"You dare say that your work bores you?!" said the elder angel with authority.
"Captain, if I became a guardian angel, it's to fight the giants," the angel complained. "It's not to stand guard all day."
"It's true that it's very quiet here." sighed the third angel.
"Fools! Our duty is to keep peace!" the leader of the angels reprimanded. "Besides, you don't even know what a real battle is. Don't be arrogant."
"Very well I will do my duty . . . as soon as a real battle presents itself. Ha ha."
"Yes, me too."
But then the earth suddenly started shaking violently.
An earthquake? . . No
"The enemy is attacking!" shouted the leader of the angels.
Dozens of gigantic creatures of varying structure were running at high speed towards Asgard.
Causing fear and surprise in guardian angels
(That year the Jotunheim army launched a surprise attack on Asgard)
(The Earth Trembled)
(66 giants stormed the walls, this army was bigger than ever)
The giants then started to beat the only door with their clubs and fists trying to break it down.
The leader of the angels then rushed in, managing to kill a giant with a spear thrust to the forehead.
"Above all, don't back down! Protect the door with your life!"
What followed was a long battle between angel and giant as the civilians of Asgard wondered if the walls would hold and if the angels would be up to the task.
"Don't worry. No one has ever managed to break the wall of Asgard," a guardian angel in the sky said to the civilians.
. . . Before being killed by a blow from the palm
Indeed another giant, much larger than the other giants, who seemed to be made of mud, had just knocked down the wall with a blow of his palm, killing many people and above all... providing a breach for the other giants.
The giants wasted no time and infiltrated inside Asgard.
The guards did everything they could to stop them, but even trained guardian angels seemed no match for the devastating force of the giants.
"I have never seen such an imposing army!" shouted a guardian angel as he killed a giant with an arrow to the skull, before being killed by another one immediately afterwards.
"There are way too many of them!" another angel yelled as he was trampled.
(Until today the Jotunheim army had always attacked Asgard with a single giant)
(The gods thought it would always be so)
The guards were being trampled or eaten one after the other.
The civilians could only tremble in fear as the giants approached them menacingly.
(These centuries of insignificant attack had lulled Asgard's vigilance)
(Actually the giants were just waiting for the right moment to attack)
The giants then attacked the city itself.
Leaving only a great pile of ruins
ASGARD THE CITY OF THE GODS . . .
WAS ON THE EDGE OF DESTRUCTION
All the defeated giant guards finally reached the most protected place in Asgard
Odin's Palace
They immediately rushed in that direction to complete their work.
The giants then set about the palace door trying to break it down.
Meanwhile inside was a group of refugees awaiting an end that seemed inevitable.
"The . . . the giants! They're here!" Foresti shouted, kneeling and protecting his head with his hands. "It's over, the city is destroyed!"
But then metallic-resonant footsteps were heard, attracting the attention of the refugees.
These steps were those of the god of thunder who was walking towards the door with incredible calm.
"Hey you! You should take cover!" Foresti shouted to the walking god.
But Thor didn't listen to him and kept walking until he found himself in front of the door.
Foresti was about to protest when the god simply pushed the doors open to face the giants.
The giants were very intrigued that someone had opened the door of their own free will.
But they didn't have time to ask questions when a menacing and electric aura filled the atmosphere.
The giant at the head of the group suddenly felt an incredible force crushing his stomach, neck and finally his skull, causing his body to explode in a bloodbath.
(All the fighters of Asgard had fallen)
(Alone and looking bored, only Thor was left)
For the first time the giants showed signs of fear as they saw Thor covered in their comrade's blood with a nonchalant air.
But that was just the beginning
Thor then leaned back holding his hammer firmly in both hands.
Then followed attack after attack, massacre after massacre and giant after giant.
Soon after only Thor was left sitting on a large pile of giant corpses each fallen with a single attack.
(Thor had defeated the army of giants with one hand without difficulty)
Alone looking at the sky Thor uttered a single sentence
" I'm bored "
(Thus Thor's shattering attack passed down through the ages)
(And was remembered as . . . )
End of flashback
THE GIANT KILLER
The powerful electric dome that surrounded the arena then shrank more and more on Erza and became more and more powerful.
"You're the best Thor!" Foresti shouted with stars in his eyes.
"Kyaaa!" Lucy and Juvia screamed, trying not to get carried away.
While Happy really got carried away before Natsu caught him in extremis by the tail
"What power!" Gray said, shielding himself with his arm.
The power even reached the VIP boxes
Aphrodite was shaken so much that her huge breasts hit his face
Even Odin and Zeus felt it pass
"And that's it, the first round is over." Shiva murmured tiredly, yawning.
"Oh no!" Göll screamed with tears in his eyes as he fell to his knees. "I knew Ragnarök was a horrible idea! Fighting the gods to save humanity is a pipe dream!"
"No need to cry Göll." Zero said as he joined the two Valkyries.
"Here you are at last." said Brunhilde without looking at him.
"Tell me Göll why do you think we chose Erza to fight Thor?" asked Zero ignoring Brunhilde.
"Uh...because she's the most powerful fighter in the multiverse?"
"No. There are other fighters stronger than her but none would have been more likely to defeat Thor . . . "
As the smoke began to clear Thor sensed something was wrong but . . . it was too late
" Because . . . "
A figure moved with lightning speed and before Thor could react he had a huge gash on his torso and a bolt of lightning suddenly electrocuted him, knocking him to his knees.
"Because . . . " said Brunhilde.
Holding his wound Thor looked up and could see Erza before him in all her glory but she was no longer wearing the same armor.
She now wore a yellow and sky blue armor covering her torso, shoulders and forearms as well as a long white skirt and a double yellow bow in her hair. She also no longer had her pigtails but a ponytail.
But above all Thor was able to see that she was surrounded by an electrical energy similar to his own.
Lightning Empress Armor
" With her we will be able to fight fire with fire ." said Zero and Brunhilde simultaneously.
[Blood! It seems like Erza suddenly changed armor and now her blow has deeply cut the thunder god's torso!] Heimdall yelled as he stood up.
"It's impossible!"
"How dare this human!"
" So what do you think gods?" Natsu thought, displaying a satisfied smile like his friends present.
" To admire the power of the greatest and most honorable of mages! The one who taught us everything and who will save humanity! " thought Natsu while admiring his leader in all her splendor.
"Ah I'm not used to spears yet, I was aiming for your throat." Erza said checking the weight of her weapon "And tell me Thor? Do you like acting like this kind of attack is enough to knock you to the ground?"
Instead of answering Thor slowly got up
" I'm not kidding Erza I really felt it pass by ." Thor thought before wiping the blood from his wound with a smile.
"You know, human? I like you."
With this simple sentence Thor silenced the entire arena.
The gods were all shocked especially Foresti. Thor had never addressed his words to anyone not even his own family and today he addresses them to a simple human.
"I have a name you know god of thunder?" Erza asked with a bored look
"How is this possible?!" Göll yelled, waving his finger in disbelief. "Thor launched his attack at point-blank range and at lightning speed! So how did Erza dodge it?!"
"She didn't dodge it," Brunhilde said. "She took it head on, but it didn't do much to her."
"What?! An attack from Thor didn't do much to him?!"
"That's his armor Göll" said Zero.
"His armor?"
"Indeed. Erza has a long arsenal but it is this armor that pushed us to choose her for this fight." said Brunhilde
"This armor not only allows him to control lightning like Thor does, but also to protect himself from it," Zero said.
"It's the Lightning Empress Armor ."
"The Lightning Empress Amor" Göll murmured as he looked closely at Erza's armor and the electrical energy surrounding her.
"Hmm that's strange" Zeus murmured.
"Is there something that upsets you Lord Zeus!?" Hermes yelled in his father's ear.
"What just happened . . . is unthinkable"
"The fact that a mortal can compete with a god surprises you, Lord Zeus?!"
"Stop yelling in my ears, I'm not deaf yet! You're right, this human's talent is impressive... but there's something else."
Zeus remembered how Erza's spear sliced through Thor's flesh like it was butter and how she was able to stop Mjolnir multiple times.
"Normally human weapons are not capable of hurting gods and even less of resisting the power of Mjolnir. That's what I don't understand."
"Oh really, you still don't understand?" asked the author.
"So you know what's going on, your Majesty?" asked Hermes.
"I feel like I'm surrounded by ignoramuses," the author said, taking his eyes off the fight for the first time.
Zeus instinctively followed his gaze and his eyes landed on Brunhilde and Zero who gave him a smirk that said it all.
" Oh so that's it. " Zeus thought with a dark smile. " They have more resources than I imagined. "
Flashback
HUMAN LODGE BEFORE THE START OF RAGNAROK
Brunhilde, Göll and Zero looked at virtual images depicting the most powerful humans in the history of the multiverse trying to select the 17 best.
"But said Brunhilde, Erza may be the best warrior in the multiverse, but will she be able to stand up to a god?" asked Göll.
"You know very well . . . that it's impossible, Göll." said Brunhilde without beating around the bush.
" WHAT ?! "
"When you think about it Göll the strongest gods and the strongest humans had a similar life. They trained to the point of exhaustion and never stopped pushing their limits so theoretically it is possible for a human to become like a god." Zero said without taking his eyes off the screens
"The only real difference between a god and a human is immortality. But during Ragnarök this immortality is cancelled."
"So . . . so during Ragnarök the gods will be like humans?" asked Göll.
"No," Zero replied instantly, "Because there is one more determining factor to consider... Weapons . "
"The strength of the gods lies in their weapons forged in the heart of Asgard, the city of the gods" said Brunhilde.
"Compared to divine artifacts, human weapons are nothing more than toys that would break at the slightest shock."
"Some . . . toys?" asked Göll, trembling.
"That is why it is impossible for a human to win against a Göll god."
"Ah . . . ah okay I see." Göll said with tears in his eyes before falling to his knees "It's a lost cause!"
"Yes, you're right, the battle is already lost." Brunhilde sneered, kneeling in front of her sister.
"But according to you . . . what would happen if humans also used divine artifacts ?"
"Huh?" was all Göll could say as he looked up.
"If only one divine weapon can defeat another divine weapon, well..." Zero said with a smirk and confidence "I guess we'll just have to get some."
"But how?"
Before Göll could get his answer gusts of wind causing falling petals formed a whirlwind.
And in the center of where this whirlwind was now stood 13 female figures lurking in the shadows.
"We are at your command, Brunhilde our elder sister." said the figure in the front line in an elegant voice.
"We, the other 11 Valkyries, all answer your call."
"Our sisters!" said Göll, looking at the 11 women with enthusiasm. "This is the first time we've all been together in one place. But why . . . "
"Randgriz come towards me." Brunhilde asked.
" Right away. "
The Valkyrie then stepped forward revealing a young woman with very long red hair, soft green eyes and an angelic smile. She was dressed in a long dress similar to Brunhilde's but with a long blue skirt.
[4th of the Valkyrie sisters: RANDGRIZ]
"Griz! I'm so happy to see you." Göll said with emotion as his sister responded with a smile.
"Do you know Thor's weapons?" Brunhilde asked.
"Yes. First of all the Jarngreipr gloves allowing to stop all attacks and especially Mjölnir the hammer which decimated the army of giants." replied Rangriz
"Indeed," said Brunhilde, raising two fingers, "They are the two most powerful divine weapons in Asgard."
"If we want to stand a chance against Thor we need to find something at least as strong." Zero said.
"Rangriz, are you ready to give your body for this cause?" asked Brunhilde.
"Of course," Rangriz replied with a smile without the slightest hesitation.
"You know what you're risking, don't you?" Zero asked, placing his hand on her shoulder.
"I am a Valkyrie." Randgriz replied, giving Zero a determined look, making him smile.
"Giving . . one's body. What are they talking about?" thought Göll doubtfully.
Back to the present
" Behold, dear divinity! Here is our own deception! " thought Brunhilde with a smug air.
The Valkyries' body can transform into a divine weapon

Erza's spear then began to glow with green energy which then took the form of a silhouette.

VOLUND FORGE
Thor was now taking this fight very seriously and launched a second attack this time with all his strength.
He fell backwards again and gripped Mjolnir so hard that the handle began to crack.
Then followed a powerful attack
ULTIMATE GIANT SLAYER
To everyone's surprise this time Erza didn't wait for the electrical power to reach her and threw herself into it and disappeared from their sight.
"She's completely crazy!"
"She threw herself into her own destruction!"
" Hmm. Patience and running away were never his style. " Natsu thought, smiling at his sensei.
In the center of the electric dome Erza had her eyes closed and looked focused
Even the Lightning Empress Armor was not used to taking such electrical power and slowly began to crack.
But that didn't shake Erza's concentration in the slightest. She kept her eyes closed trying to catch Thor's aura . . . Until
" Find ! "
Thor on the lookout saw Erza jump from the electric dome surrounded by light energy
Once that energy dissipated he saw that Erza had changed armor again.
She now wore armor consisting of a black leotard and a black cape showing a large part of her chest, she also wore gray steel boots and a rabbit ear headband and most importantly...
She was now equipped with two spears, one red and one black.
Twin blades armor
Still in the air Erza combined her two weapons into one forming a large spear filled with red and black energy and dove towards Thor.
Thor then used Mjolnir as a shield to protect his upper body. Unfortunately for him...
That wasn't what Erza was aiming for.
She landed hard right in front of Thor cracking the ground and with great mastery of her weapon she transformed her vertical attack into a lateral attack.
Red and black twin blades
Thor surprised didn't have time to use his hammer and could only block Erza's powerful attack by crossing his arms.
When a Valkyrie calls upon the forge of Volund she transfers all her qualities to the weapon
Erza's weapon then hit Jarngreipr's gloves causing a large shockwave.
But Erza drew on her strength and continued to move forward
The fourth valkyrie is named Randgriz, which means
Instantly cracks began to form in the gloves and they continued to grow until . . .
CRAC
The one who destroys shields
Both gloves flew apart as Thor's expression turned truly shocked.
With no more obstacles, Erza's attack hit Thor's stomach, causing him to cough up blood and eject him like a baseball.
Before the shocked gazes of the gods and humans Thor dropped Mjolnir and fell flat on his back on the ground with a painful BOOM.
[The divine weapon is . . . destroyed?! And Thor is . . . down?!] Heimdall yelled, not believing his eyes.
In the cabin of the Valkyries Zero smiled at the scene before him
"Said Brunhilde, are you thinking the same thing as me?"
"Oh yes," Brunhilde said with a sinister smile, "The party... can begin!"
