The full moon sat high in the sky as it was roughly midnight, slowly the camera fell down upon the leaf village lit up in the night. Zooming in on and into the back portion of my home, the camera focused on me as I stood at my anvil, hammer clutched in hand. I was covered in sweat and grime, as well as smears of filth from working for so long. Again and again I swung my hammer down, striking the red hot blade that once was a length of steel, the sound of clanking metal echoing through my forge, my foot pr asked upon the floor pedal to keep the blade clamped in place. It had only been a few days since my confrontation with senshi, yet due to that confrontation I had increased the work and progress of my secret project. Locking the frame and joints together was the easy part, as was inserting the chakra canisters. What proved to be the most difficult was getting the joints themselves to properly bend and swivel, slightly too tight and they wouldn't move at all, a bit too loose and it risked rattling apart. However after many hours of trial and error I finally had everything fashioned together perfectly, and now I was onto the final piece. With one final swing of my hammer, it was finished. Removing my foot from the floor pedal released the clamp holding the back end of the still red hot spear head. With a pair of modified tongs I grabbed the spear head and dunked in the the vat of oil beside the anvil, a stream of flames shot up as I quenched the steel in the oil. Removing the now hardened spear head from the oil, I looked on at my work as I watched the remaining oil drip from the blade. A quick file test was all I needed to be one hundred percent positive the quench was successful, now I had to simply fit the final piece into place. Placing everything on my workbench, I took a moment to admire it all before the final process. It was a prosthetic that would be fashioned to the right arm, just behind the elbow and up the length of my bicep. The frame was made of iron bars and swivel joints, which mimicked the length and form of my forearm ending just after the wrist. Filling the large empty space that would make up the meat and bone of my arm was a reinforced glass chakra canister, although it was currently empty. Attached to the end of the wrist joint was a slot just big enough for the tang of the spear head, slotting the spear head into place, I viced and pinned the slot shut. Locking the spear head into place and completing my prosthetic blade arm. This project had been kept a secret even from my two closest friends, kaen because I didn't know if I could trust him. Then again with his Byakugan, he may already know, and senshi. Well I wanted it to be a surprise for tonight when we met up, and now that it was late into the night it was time to be on my way, wrapping the prosthetic arm up i was quick to clean myself up and exit my home. Normally It would be a casual stroll through the quiet village, yet with my prosthetic I had to be much more careful. Taking allies and backstreets I had to take the long way around which brought me near the gate of the village. As I made my way passed the village entrance i stopped upon hearing a discussion between sakura and sasuke. Rounding the corner just in time to see sasuke lay an unconscious sakura down on a bench and rush out of the village gates, a thousand thoughts raced through my head before i decided i had to go inform senshi. As i rushed through the village i ran into senshi himself. "There you are, I was starting to think you were bailing on me. Why do you look like you were running for your life?" Senshi asked this question as he looked at me, taking in deep and steady breaths. "I think i just watched sasuke abandon the village, he knocked out sakura and left i was on my way to tell you just now." This information caused an irrationally angry look to appear on senshi's face "That little shit, the two of us are going to get him right now!" senshi's response was rather aggressive and a bit shocking. "Isn't that a bad idea? Your a shinobi and im not we could both get in serious trouble for doing this especially if we fail." i voiced my concern to senshi not wanting to be punished any further. "Don't worry we will get sasuke and be back before anyone notices that were gone." it was then that we heard the voice of kaen as he emerged from a nearby alleyway. "Just where do the two of you think your going, i already think its a bit suspicious that you have been working so closely with him senshi. Now i find the two of you in the middle of the night speaking of leaving and being back before anyone can notice, i want answers now." kaen spoke with anger in his voice not happy with the two of us, as kaen had stated periodically senshi had been kidnapping me for private sessions. "We were talking about going after sasuke who just abandoned the village, come on you know he left to join orochimaru meaning hes probably going to be meeting up with some strong sound shinobi. After what happened when itachi showed up we shouldn't be surprised, dammit i knew i shouldn't have left sasuke alone. Do you honestly think anyone but us could bring him back guaranteed and even if tsunade decides to send you and me instead of me and him, by the time we inform her and she confirms it who knows how far sasuke will have gotten." senshi did not hesitate to inform kaen on what was going on and even prepoused a very good argument as to why we didn't have any time to inform tsunade. "Alright fine but i'm coming with you, the three of us will bring sasuke back much easier than the two of you alone and if somehow this turns out to be some kind of lie i can drag the two of you back myself." Kaens final response calmed my nerves as i let out a sigh of relaxation from here we wasted no time rushing out of the village and following sasuke's trail. We used the trees jumping from branch to branch with incredible speed and force each leap covering an incredible amount of distance, senshi leading in the front followed closely behind by kaen and trailing not too far behind both of them was me. Kaen looked over his shoulder to see me with a smile on my face as we lept from bronch to branch. "What are you so happy about back there?" Kaen asked me this question, almost having to shout it with how fast we were moving as his attention returned to senshi and the path in front of us. "You guys always gave me crap for not making it above genin but now here we are, racing through the forest trying not only to bring back another shinobi but also senshis nephew. It just feels like we're on our first official mission together as a squad like we always talked about when we were kids, and that puts a smile on my face." Senshi, kaen, and I moved through the treetops as fast as we could in the dark of night knowing we were gaining on sasuke. As we moved through the tops of the trees, I thought back to a specific evening a few nights ago. It was during one of senshis late night sessions between him and myself. "Im telling you senshi i have absolutely no idea how this thing works, and why do you keep calling it the gekugan?" I said this to Senshi in a slightly annoyed tone. "Well we have to call it something, besides space time eye sounds pretty accurate. We just need to figure out how to activate it on command, so start explaining what it feels like." Senshis response got a sigh from me as I thought back to the few times it had happened. "It's hard to explain, each time it happened it was a really intense moment. Edrinelan and chakra were flooding through my body, I was hyper focused on someone or thing, and then I just felt this surge of power in my eyes and it happened." As I gave this explanation I could see the gears turning in senshis head as he tried to connect the dots. "So you need to be focused on a target and or a specific space, then with enough chakra and concentration through your eyes you can activate your gekugan. Initially it seems to form a time space time bubble around the focused area or individual, inside of which time is slowed significantly for everyone caught inside. Alright, let's test this theory out." As my memory of mine and senshies conversation ended, I could feel us coming up on five significant chakra signatures. After several minutes of jumping from tree to tree the three of us would drop from the tree tops and land in a large clearing inside of which stood the sound four alongside kimimaro. "Well this is quite the unexpected turn of events, you four deal with them while I ensure saskue reaches lord orochimaru." Kimimaro spoke to the sound four before picking up the barrel containing sasuke and leaping off into the trees with incredible speed. "Alright how do we handle this?" Kaen asked this question to senshi as he cracked his neck. "Thankfully it's a nearly even match up, four of them three of us, a simple plan of attack should do." Senshi spoke to Kane in a calm tone as he examined the four sound Shinobi that stood before us. "The plan is you two go on ahead after sasuke while I handle these four." I spoke with authority in my voice as I stepped forward in front of both senshi and kaen, my eyes bouncing back and forth between the sound four members. "Don't even try to argue you saw how fast that guy was moving, in the few minutes it would take us to deal with these guys who know how far that man could get with sasuke you two get going and I'll watch your backs." I continued to speak knowing my friends would try to argue, yet I did not look away from the four Shinobi standing before us. Kaen looked towards senshi, a shocked and worried expression upon his face. "Do you really think he can take these guys?" Kaen asked senshi this question while watching the uchiha exit his fighting stance. "If he thinks he can handle it I say let him have at it." A moment of silence passed before kaen looked back at me with an expression of concern and worry on his face. "Just don't get yourself killed ok." With that said both kaen and senshi leapt back into the tree tops to peruse kimimaro, the moment senshi and kaen leapt into the air the sound four moved to intercept them however all four of them were almost instantly caught in a large purple sphere inside of which time was slowed tremendously. [I'll be damned senshi was right. I haven't been speeding up my perception of time, i've been slowing time in a controlled area around what I'm focused on.] Right now it was running off pure instinct and some guesswork cooked up by me and senshi, not too sure how this worked or what i could really do with it. These thoughts ran through my head as I approached the sound four while laughing and reaching into the pouch on the back of my hip. "Don't bother holding your breath waiting for an explanation because truth be told I'm still figuring this out myself." I spoke to the sound four while moving around the time bubble throwing my kuni into the bubble at strategic points, once I was positive senshi and kaen had gotten far enough away I drew my sword and released my time bubble allowing all twenty five kuni I had thrown to speed towards their targets. the frantic movements of the sound four as well as the kuni sinking into the ground caused a small dust cloud that once faded reviled the sound four to only have minor cuts and scratches. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised honestly I'd be disappointed if you four went down that easily." With that said I charged forward taking note of who was the biggest threat, however I stopped dead in me tracks to jump back and avoid a spider web spat on the ground in front of me. Dropping down then rolling to the right and springing up off the ground I would avoid three more webs that had been spat at me, upon landing back on the ground I turned my attention towards kidomaru knowing I would have to deal with him first. Before I could make my advance the words. "Earth style earth prison jutsu." Were shouted as the ground started to shake before a dome of earth rose up from the ground around me trapping me inside. In a matter of seconds I could feel my chakra being drained and knew I had to escape, rushing the front wall I entered a special stance, with both my feet planted I brought my blade up behind my back and shouted the words. "Secret sword style slashing barrage." After that I began to unleash a barrage of slashes that only grew faster and stronger until the wall shattered in front of me. However while bringing down the wall I couldn't help but hear a strange melody, one that would have dire consequences once the wall had fallen, as now I stood facing three massive rage ogers.
