In a school playground, a group of children with malicious grins gathered around a single tomboy standing next to a swing set. "Oh look, it's freaky Maddie!" Exclaimed a child with blonde hair wearing a dress holding a ball of mud in her hand before throwing it at a black haired child with lightly tanned skin wearing short messy black hair wearing a black sweater and yellow pants. Maddie didn't respond. However, frustration and anger were clear on her mud covered face. "Oooh! Maddie's getting maddie!" The children laughed at her before scrambling away happily, leaving Maddie alone.
The girl immediately removed the mud off her face with her bare hands before she sat on the swing seat next to her. Her heart felt as heavy as rocks as tears welled up under her eyes. As the child wept, a transparent Bill Cipher suddenly appeared next to her from seemingly nowhere. "Ahhh, elementary school. Brings back memories. So many kids were on fire those days! Anyways, how have you been doing?" Bill's eye drifted to his daughter to find her curled up on the swing set with tears in her eyes. He rolled his eyes and summoned his cane, leaning it on his shoulder. "If it makes you feel any better, they all deserved it." The tomboy didn't reply, causing Bill to blink awkwardly before a ball of mud slammed into the side of girl's head. Bill paused, watching the mud drip from his daughter's face and onto her clothes before bursting into laughter.
Maddie glared at the triangle as he laughed. "LEAVE ME ALONE YOU DEADBEAT TRIANGLE!" She snapped at the demon, her hands engulfed in blue flames as her hair transformed into those very blue flames. The tomboy's eyes widened as she realized her powers activated. Her breathing quickly shifted into slow deep breaths as she closed her eyes. In a few seconds, her hair and hands were back to normal with thankfully no damage to anything.
"She's talking to air!" Laughed another child, pointing at Maddie. The tomboy's eye twitched in frustration before Bill spoke again.
"Hey!" He exclaimed crossing his arms as he looked at his daughter in disappointment. "I've been called a demon, but I'm no deadbeat!"
"You've been gone for six YEARS!" Maddie hissed at Bill in a low voice, glaring at her biological father angrily as mud dripped from her face.
"I was busy!" Argued Bill rolling his eyes, yet Maddie glared went unceasing causing the triangle to groan. "Fine, I just don't like babies. I've dealt with a giant one and I'm not a fan. Happy?"
"No!" Whispered the tomboy angrily, her fists clenched tightly. "Do you know how hard my life is right now?! I have to hide my powers or risk becoming a lab rat! Everyone bullies me for being weird! And worst of all, I have no one to rely on!"
"What about your mom?" Asked Bill readjusting his hat, earning a deadpan look from his daughter. "Alright, yes, I wouldn't rely on her either. Freak of nature." He admitted narrowing his eyes as he remembered Miss Gravels and her infatuation with him before shivering in disgust. He turned to his daughter and smiled with his eye before speaking in a chipper tone. "Well, don't worry. Papa Bill is here to help! I'll give those kids a few nightmares and-"
"No!" Snapped Maddie in frustration. "I don't want someone else to fix my problems! I want someone to be there for me! Someone to help ME fix my problems." She added staring at the muddy playground below her with a frown as Bill started spinning his cane. "Does that make any sense?"
"About as much as anything else you've said in the past few minutes." Replied Bill nonchalantly. "Look. Here's my advice. Just show them that messing with you is a mistake to avoid. A few scorches here and there outta do the trick."
Horror spread across the tomboy's face. "That's horrible!" She exclaimed firmly as she glared at Bill. "I'm not hurting anyone!"
"Look, honey. You can't be good without a little evil. No one appreciates kindness without knowing the alternative." Bill replied cheerfully, his words dripping with a menacing undertone. "So how's about you take papa's advice and show those kids how much good you've been doing them so far?" Maddie went silent and frowned. Her mind was a hurricane of thoughts and pondering. Is there truly no good way for me to fit in? Am I meant to be evil like him? She couldn't help but think. Maybe just once? One tiny evil doing? Suddenly, memories of Bill's dealings from the show flooded her mind cementing her choice.
"I REFUSE!" Maddie snapped, accidentally raising her voice for all to hear. "I'm not falling for your tricks! Listen here, Dadill. I'm coming up with the plan and you'll help. Got it?"
Bill rolled his eye. "Whatever gets you to stop calling me a deadbeat." He said placing his arms on his triangle hips. "Also, you should probably duck." The girl's eyes widened before sje immediately ducked leaving a ball of mud to pass above her and phase through her father's invisible body.
"Thanks for that." Said the tomboy in relief.
"What are papa's for. Meet ya tonight!" And with that, he was gone leaving her to glare at the leader of the kids laughing at her as she came up with a plan.

Later that night, Maddie sat on the floor of her room with her back to a leg of her bed. She was wearing blue pyjamas and had a determined expression on her face as she was deep in thought. However,. interrupting her thoughts, a transparent Bill Cipher appeared in front of her from seemingly nowhere. "So, kid, found a brilliant plan yet?"
"Yup." Replied Maddie with a snarky grin. We're gonna go into the main bully's mind to find a way to make her like me!" Bill burst into laughter, causing his daughter to roll her eyes in exasperation. She waited a few seconds until Bill stopped laughing before she continued. "Can you teach me how to get out of my own body and into the mindscape?"
"Oh, that's easy." He replied cheerfully, summoning his cane. "Just focus on your mind and jump out." Maddie raised her hand to ask a question before lowering it once again. She doubted she could get a more detailed answer from Bill so she did as he said. She closed her eyes and focused entirely on her mind and thoughts. This is stupid. She thought with a frown before she suddenly felt something. Limbs. Ones different from her physical ones. Her focus quickly shifted to her 'Legs' and she did as her dad had told her. She jumped.
And jump she did; out of her body with a few blue sparks and straight through the ceiling. She screamed in fear as she started floating into space. Although a logical part of her knew she couldn't be harmed in this state, that didn't make the experience any less terrifying. "Gotcha." Luckily, Bill was there to stop her from fly into the empty void of space.
"Thanks, dad- I mean Dadill." Said Maddie tiredly. "Let's go."
And with that, the duo flew through the mindscape towards the bully's home not noticing the smoke coming out of Maddie's home in their wake.

Inside the bully's mind, Bill and Maddie stared at a large colorful house that seemed to lack any blemish. Bill whistled at the sight with interest. "You gotta admit, for a kid she's got some decor skills." He said as he and his daughter headed inside to find a large labyrinth of hallways full of doors on each side.
Through twists and turns, the duo walked around looking for something very specific. A box or a closet or something that held the blonde bully's favourite things. Throughout the journey, Bill looked into the different memories with giggles and laughs with each new door. Maddie ignored him and focused intensily on the task at hand until she and Bill made it to two closets side by side. One was colorful and labelled "favourite things", the other was dark and run down labelled "fears"
"Yes!" Exclaimed the tomboy throwing her hands into the air.
"Oh look! Fears too." Bill added, flying towards the rundown closet and placing his hand on the knob. "Wanna bet it's someone I know?" Before waiting for an answer, the triangular demon lightly pulled the handle only for a giant Maddie made of blue flames to burst out from within with a furious expression. The tomboy's eyes widened in shock with her jaw dropped as Bill blinked at the unexpected sight. "Huh? This is unexpected." He said before the fire maddie slapped him into a wall.
"She must've seen me use my powers!" Exclaimed the real Maddie, grabbing her father off the wall by the arm and running into a random memory. "We need to go!"
"Hey! I can take her!" Exclaimed the dream demon angrily as the scene transformed into one of a house's back garden with no one around.
"Not enough!" Exclaimed Maddie in a serious tone. "I need to do it in front of her so she'd like me for it!" Bill's eye threatened to fall out of its socket in shock.
"Woah woah woah!" The triangle exclaimed in surprise with a widened eye. Glee was visible in his expression. "Didn't expect THAT out of you!"
"What can I say? I love my theatrics." Maddie replied with a proud smile before two door opened simultaneously. From one appeared a small blonde girl with a smile on her face. From the other, a giant blue flaming Maddie shaped monster.
The flame Maddie raised her hands into the air, gathering a giant blue ball of flames before throwing it towards the blonde bully. The real Maddie quickly tackled her bully, saving her from becoming a charred corpse. Without wasting a second, the tomboy imagined a water hose with too much water pressure. The mindscape obliged and the green water hose appeared in her hands. Without a second thought, Maddie turned on the hose. The hose immediately knocked her and her bully into a wall with the mere water pressure. However, flame Maddie wasn't so lucky.
The water quickly extinguished the monster, leaving Maddie, Bill and the bully safe from danger. "You okay?" The tomboy asked her bully softly.
"Y-yeah." Replied the blonde with a smile. "Thanks. I... I'm-"
"You don't need to say sorry. Just promise me we'll be friends from now on." Maddie cut her off with a smile. The blonde nodded before the tomboy and her dad walked out of the memory with smiles on their faces.
"I gotta hand it to you, kid. You're making way prouder than you should." Said Bill cheerfully, causing Maddie to roll her eyes with a smile.
"Let's just go home."

"Huh." Back at Maddie's home with her in her body, Bill stared at the scene with a twitch in his eye. Bill's body tensed up as he watched Maddie's house burning with blue flames. His eye moved toward his daughter in her pyjamas watching the scene in horror from her physical body that was sitting on a stretcher.
"I killed her." She muttered with unmoving eyes. She felt as if her heart was trying to eat itself or implode. Tears flooded her eyes as she continued to stare at the firemen putting out the fire. "She loved and took care of me for six years and I killed her." Bill saw this and flinched. He could see his past self overlapping with his own crying daughter.
An emotion Bill never knew before flooded his mind. 'N-no! She isn't my MY kid!' He argued in his mind. 'She remembers her old life. Well, partially and all her dad memories are now of me. But that counts! I'm not responsible for- I don't ca-' a whirlwind of emotions tore through the mind of the triangle before his eye fell on his broken daughter once again. HIS daughter, broken the same way he was all those eons ago.
'Maybe...I can stick around a little longer.'

Guess burning your home and murdering your family runs in the Cipher family.
Also, the blonde bully is NOT Pacifica. Just to clarify.
Toodles.
