Tale Of Two Princes Chapter 20, a lion king fanfic

Two months after Kion, Hofu and Sabrina were born.

Kion was growing fast as time went by.

He started making friends with the pride herds.

Simba sighs "I wonder why Kiara didn't get roar of the elders, but I guess they kings of the past have reasons."

Two months pasted.

Kion turned four months old.

Him and his friend Bunga the honey badger were playing ball with a hard fruit by the border when the ball flew into the outlands.

Kion sighs "we'll just get a new one."

Bunga shakes his head "no. I can get it."

He jumps down in hole to get the ball when Janja, Cheezi and Chungu corner him with two more hyenas.

Janja smirks "oh look, a honey badger to eat."

Kion snarled "touch him and it would be the last thing you do!"

Janja smirks "how? When we're down here and your up there."

Kion took a deep before roaring loud.

Elders in the sky showed up and roar with Kion's roar blowing the hyenas away with wind.

After the roar, Kion ask "what was that? I never roar like that before."

Bunga comments "that was unbelievable!"

Kion sighs "let's just get back home."

They walk home with the ball.

Once they get back to Pride Rock, Simba and Rafiki approach them.

Simba nervous ask "Kion? Did anything strange happened just a few minutes ago?"

Kion answers "nothing happened."

Simba ask "you didn't see lions in the sky or a powerful roar?"

Bunga comments "yeah. Kion roared at some hyenas and lions appear in the sky to make the roar loud and powerful to blow them away."

Simba turns to Rafiki to explain to his son.

Rafiki shakes his head "oh no, Simba. You must explain this to him."

Simba nervous says "Kion? Follow me to the Watering hole."

Kion nods his head "okay, dad."

They walk away from Bunga and Rafiki.

Simba nervous about explaining the lion guard detail.

Kion ask "what's wrong?"

Simba sighs "Kion? When my uncle was young. He was leader of the lion guard."

Kion ask "the lion guard? What's that?"

Simba explains it to him and what the team is made up of.

After the conversation, Kion leaves to go put his team together.

Simba left to inform his dad and family about the new lion guard team.

Kion walked to a space where Timon and Pumbaa were living with Bunga and says "my dad just told me about the lion guard and I came to make you a team member of the lion guard."

Bunga ask "what would I be in your team?"

Kion grins "the bravest part of the lion guard.

Bunga and Kion leave to go to the hippos herd.

Beshte was chilling in the water pond with his parents.

Kion and Bunga arrived at the water pond.

Kion ask "hey, Beshte!"

Beshte curious ask "hi, Kion. Hi Bunga. What are you two doing today?"

Bunga grins "I'm a new member of the lion guard team."

Beshte ask "the lion guard?"

Kion nods his head "yeah and I want you as a member too."

Beshte ask "what do you need me for?"

Kion grins "the strongest lion replacement."

Beshte comments "no other hippo is stronger than me."

Kion ask "so are you in?"

Beshte nods his head "yeah. I'll be a part of your team."

Kion comments "now all I need is two more members for the team to be complete."

Bunga ask "who's the last two members of the team?"

Kion answers "Ono and Fuli."

Beshte ask "where do we find them?"

Kion answers "Fuli is in the field where she watch the herds on a hill by the meadows. Ono is in a tree by Giraffes herds."

Beshte and Bunga follows Kion to the spots to recruit team members.

Fuli and Ono join the lion guard team.

Simba found them and ask "son? Have you made your team?"

Kion ask "do you know who was second between Vitani and Kovu?"

Simba shakes his head "no. Not entirely. Why?"

Kion comments "well I was thinking of a back up leader as well."

Simba sighs "your team is supposed to consist of lions. How is your team considered a lion guard team with only one lion? It's not a game, son."

Kion sighs "but I'm not playing."

Simba leaves them frustrated.

Kion leaves to go find his grand father Mufasa.

Mufasa was chilling Sarabi and Sarafina and Runju by the sunbathing rocks.

Kion walked upto them and ask "grand father, Mufasa?"

Mufasa smiles "Kion, my grandson. What's up?"

Kion sighs "I was chosen to be the new leader of the lion guard team and I picked my team members, but my dad doesn't believe their right for the job."

Mufasa calmly says "it shouldn't matter what animals make up your lion guard team. The only thing that should matter is you believing that the members you pick for your team are right choices."

Kion nods his head "thank you, grand father, Mufasa."

He runs off to finds his team of friends.

Janja, Cheezi and Chungu started harassing the herds in the Pride lands.

Beshte, Fuli, Bunga and Ono watched the herds get terrorized by Janja and his cronies.

Kion arrived at the hill where his team members are.

Beshte ask "what are we going to do, Kion?"

Kion sternly says "we're going to defend our home from those hyenas!"

He puts his paw on each of their shoulders to give each the lion guard symbol.

He looks at them and says "until the Pride lands end."

Fuli, Beshte, Ono and Bunga finishes "lion guard defends."

Kion and the lion guard team run the hyenas away from the herds and collide them into a spot where Beshte charged hitting them away dizzy.

Once the hyenas were in position, Kion growled "stay out of my Pride lands!"

He roared at the hyenas the roar of the elders, blowing them back into the outlands.

Ono looked around and panics "Kiara is by a boulder in direct path of wildebeest herd."

Bunga comments "I got this. I just need fast speed."

Fuli commands "get on my back."

Bunga rides on Fuli's back as they race to Kiara.

Kiara hid behind the boulder rock scared.

Bunga jumped from Fuli's back and landed on top of the boulder that Kiara was hiding behind and released gas to make the wildebeest run on the sides around the Kiara.

After wildebeest herd were gone, Simba, Nala and Kovu nuzzled Kiara to make sure she was okay.
