In the last chapter we saw that the team had some minor arguments. Though they'll need to work together to tangle a new foe together that being the injustice league this is part belongs to greg wiseman and Brandon Vietti.
Chapter 22:Injustice League part 1
Metropolis october 1st 5:59pm
The bustling city was done below the same like always with choppers being heard flying above. But as they did the cars moved down below with a set of busy traffic right now. But as they did suddenly the ground started to shake before them before splitting apart underneath them right now.
As there was immediate panic with a large plant growing out of the around for safety. As this happens red spikes come out forming gigantic flowers that grab police cars and throw them into buildings. Another goes the slam before the third slammed itse;f into the concrete as it harshly pulled itself out revealing nothing but it kept coming
But soon enough watching this from a magic mirror was someone right now.
That being a woman with long red hair and green eyes with a pale green skin tone. Along with wearing a green outfit resembling a one piece bathing suit
"Seems my love is doing a good job. The test is complete"the women said
"Then we proceed with the next phase of the plan"another female voice spoke up revealing it to be someone in an orange and black bodysuit. Along with it being heavily armored it seems with her sporting a pair of goldenrod pauldrons, kneepads and chest plate on for body armor. There was also how she had two katana strapped to her back with two machine pistols on her hips. But she wore an orange mask covering her eyes with her hair draping out revealing it to be white.
As this was Rose who was in her combat attire right now.
The next was a familiar sight in the form of a three eyed jack with another hat to replace the one he lost.
"Agreed"a latvian accent spoke up
That being someone stepping out of the shadows revealing it to be a caucasian man with blue eyes and white hair slicked back with a widows peak hairline. He wears a lime blazer on top of a brown waistcoat and dark green ascot with golden brooch. He also dons a dark green cape and matching pants and gloves.
This was count vertigo
Another was a man wearing a yellowish green costume without any mark of distinction. He has a set of vertically positioned tubes on his midriff with a dark green helmet and goggles. His face seemed dehydrated as it was gray in color.
This was atomic skull
The next a muscular black eyed powerhouse of a man with short black hair slicked back with pointed ears. With a skintight black suit and yellow boots with a sash and golden lightning bolt insignia on his chest.
This was black adam
The next being a gorilla who was a large white gorilla with a gray face and upper head being replaced by a brain like protrusion. They also have a small scar over the right side of their mouth.
This was ultrahumanite
The next was a man with light blue skin and red eyes with black sclera. His hair was slicked back with a devil horn style to it and a pointy black beard. His clothes are pure red in color and wears a black cape with gold accents.
This was wotan
The next and last was a tall slender man with chalk white skin and ruby red lips and a head of bright green hair falling down in mop style. His most distinguished feature was a massive and wide smile that is constantly on his face. Giving him a sinister look as he wore a purple suit. It had a orange and green undershirt with a flower on his lapel and skinny leg pants with a skinny purple tie and silver chain at his wrist
"Admit it you can't turn away"Joker said with a grin right now as he smiled at the chaos before him right now relishing in every bit and piece of it right now.
Mount justice october 1st 6:13 pm
At mount justice right now starting off to a good start was kaldur and robin. Both of which were training in their casual wear right now. With them not stopping as robin lifted his leg kicking kaldur at shoulder height gaining 4 pts as kaldur dodged another strike getting 8pts.
Then the boy was quick to turn as soon as he touched the ground. Deciding to get up close and personal he went for a right punch. Seeing this, Kaldur blocked it before both of them gained 4 pts for that hit. As kaldur already had his right hand raised and goes for a cross face but robin ducks under it. Before he follows it up with a quick back handspring and kaldur then gains 14 pts for his combo. Then robin gains 10 pts for his dodge and it's a x2 the second he touched the ground
Then deciding to switch it up, Kaldur went in for a follow up. As watching this was revenant and captain marvel as both watched the match intently
As kaldur gets close attempting to throw a left hand punch that robin then blocks. An attempted palm heel strike him but in return kaldur does his own back handspring to make distance. This made robin gain 8pts for his block and kaldur gains 9pts for his combo. Then in combination robin does a front kick earning himself 5pts
"Right, call it,"Nico said close by as the lights turned off with them both relaxing, hoping to finish it. But walking by was m'gann and deliah as the martian held ghost who was snoring peacefully in her arms
As they watched it with robin whipping his forehead off with kaldur drinking some water as robin snickered
"You know their a couple right?"he whispered but hearing this where the others
"Wait really? No way never seen that before''captain marvel said quietly eavesdropping as nico sighed
"Ahhhh my esteemed friend, relax. Besides cute how my little partner found someone"nico said but zipping over was wally who was talking with them artemis close by as they watched it
"Should we tell wally that she's not into him….in general"robin asked
"I don't think it's our place"kaldur replied simply
But then Nico's gaze shifted over toward Conner and Jinny right now. As the two of them were working on her bike right now. But the man noticed how jinny brushed her hair towards the alien as it seemed she was trying hard to get his attention with connor noticing it slightly it seems
"Well, it seems the cowgirl has pierced the supey clone's heart , I think. Should you tell your arrow friend"nico said as robin waved his hand
"Nah it'll be fine"he said before dropping it as the two joined them right now
"So if you're our babysitter for the next week why is he still here? And eating my snacks"wally questioned annoyed toward captain marvel who smirked back as something rang out.
"Recognized batman 0-2"the zeta tubed called out with batman walking out of the tube not even slowing down seeming in a haste
"Computer national news now"he ordered as it did before it showed them something right now. That being a live news report
"The initial attack was short lived but metropolis was only granted a short reprieve. And despite the intervention of Superman and the Justice league. There seems to be no end to it"the news women said as it showed hawkman and hawkgirl fighting off some plant creatures.
As hawkman looked to have the distinguishing features that are giant hawk wings and wore some heavy armor. As he wore a black cuirass with a hawk logo in a red circle in the middle with his belt, spaulders, greaves and gauntlets being golden in color. Along with dawning a golden helmet with a beak shape to it and wings outstanding on the top.
A hawkwoman was just like him with a set of large hawk wings sharing some similar costumes. But she lacked some armor opting for a golden breastplate which left the top of her torso bare with a black skirt on and dark red plating. Her arms were wrapped in black and dark red cloth with extra padding around the shoulders. Along with wearing some knee high greaves and sharing the same helmet as hawkman but with two brown wings instead with her red hair flowing out the back.
With it showing them fighting off the vines to defend the civilians with robin narrowing his gaze for a moment
"Should we get out their"he asks excited
"No, the league will have this situation under control soon. "Batman paused before continuing
"But that's not why I'm here, I'm here according to your intel. Sportmaster supplied cadmus the blockbuster formula to kobra"Batman said, displaying an image of a strange set of vials and a picture of the infamous sportmaster himself.
"Who combined both to kobra venom with bane's venom"wally said
"Along with the brain making an animal army"robin added
As conner petted wolf"along with wolf since he's different"he added feeling a little included on this with jinny smacking her head
"Those collar we saw on them animals"she reminded as m'gann went wide eyed
"Your right those were the same ones at belle reve penitentiary"she remembered
"So is their a possible that plant thingy is on kobra venom too"artemis snarly asked as the dark knight typed away on a holographic keyboard
"Possibly the same ones from the spot analysis green lantern performed. The divine cellulose does contain trace amount of a kobra venom variant"the dark knight said with kaldur cupping his chin for a moment
"This cannot be a coincidence that all these villains are cooperating on a worldwide scale. This runs deeper than we thought"kaldur siad
As robin typed away on his own holographic keyboard"well that's exactly how our enemies have formed some sort of secret society of supervillains. The attack on metropolis was only the beginning"he said with his student speaking up
"Not the only place theirs also plant creatures in gotham city, paris, star city, taipei and texas"robin added showing some picture of the same creatures attacking metropolis right now before they suddenly cut to static at that moment with them staring at robin
"Dude not cool we were watching that"wally scolded
"I didn't do it….someone is cutting the satellite signal off, wait a minute…all of them!"he said in shock before something happened right now
As the screen began to flicker before the image was replaced by a crazed clown that was the joker. Who taped on the camera lens a few times to get the esteemed crowd's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen we interrupt the regularly schedule mayhem to bring this important announcement…"joker said drawing a switchblade in hand before turning the camera to show them something that being the injustice league all their with the clown smiling
"From the injustice league"he said before laughing as he continued
"We are responsible for the attacks on your cities. If you wish to save them a ransom of 10 billion american dollars is required. Delivery instructions are sent to the United Nations with no time limit. But the longer your government waits.."count vertigo was stopped as rose took the camera laughing
"That we have more fun….i'm expecting some fun here for my contract"she said as the feed cut with joker manically laughter being heard to their shock right now as batman closed his eyes
"Roger, that aquaman the un will prepare the ransom as a fallback. But it won't come to that"batman said with robin rewinding the video doing a facial recognition on all of them before announcing who they're dealing with
"Count vertigo, the joker, poison ivy, ultra humanite, atomic skull, black adam, wotan, three eyed jack and….rose wilson"robin said peeking someone interest that being deliah stepping forward
"Hey, she was in Belle reve! How did she even get out?!"she questioned in shock right now
"No clue but maybe the secret society has the answer"wally mumurered
"Not much of a secret now are they"artemis said
"Enough but perhaps after indian they decided to strike after we saw the truth. No more point in hiding after this"kaldur offered
Jinny spit on the ground"Their mistake fishy but guess we gotta deal with some weeds"She said but the dark knight had other plans in mind
"No, the league can handle the plant creatures while I have a new job for you. That being dealing with the plant creature's central control system. Your to destroy it"batman said as zatara stepped forward
"You do realize what you're asking them to do?"he questioned as the dark knight studied the young teens before him
"Their all ready all of them"he said firmly for a moment
"Wait, ready for what? I'm lost"wally said as artemis jabbed him on the arm making him yelp from that
"Hey?! Cut it out blondie"he spat back as she groaned
"Obvious what we gotta do kid dork"artemis snarky said back as m'gann hummed
"If the big guns are fighting the plants, who are we going to fight?"she asked as he thought for a moment before smacking his face
"Ohhhhhhhhh….great"he said with a grin for a moment as zatara sighed
"If Batman trusts you then fine. "Zatara said with the dark knight looking at them for a moment as he nodded to zatara who stepped forward
"I will need to help locate the enemy since wotan is involved with sorcery now being apart of this on being the plants"zatara said turning to the team as he stared at the holomap on robin glove for a moment placing his hand near it
"Etacol recipe fo yrecros"he said as it did something with a small dot on the globe in the southern United States being its location.
"Their that were you will find the injustice league"he added
"The louisiana bayou…coordinates locked"Robin said
"Then we are on our way come"kaldur said as they walked toward the bioship for a new mission with captain marvel stepping forward with a worried look
"Are you sure they can handle all those guys?"marvel asked
"I'm sure but i will need your help and zatara somewhere else"batman said as they got ready for their own mission
October 1st gotham city 749pm
After some time Batman had boarded his batplane to get to the city. With him going toward a large plant creature that was terrorizing the people of the fine cesspool of gotham. With him opening a hatch latching a large amount of weed killer onto the plant.
As captain marvel lands behind the plant before gripping his fist below it as he grinned before lifting it up yanking its roots out. As he took flight before reeling it back tossing it into the sun to burn it to a crisp;
While batman is in his plane he flew through a slew of vines with the weed killer as zatara had encased himself in a magic bubble to shield him from any attacks
"Erif, kees, you sight larutan reuters' 'he said before fire erupted from the vines causing some small spores to open and pop. as the fire department below got covered they coughed trying to keep it out of their mouths but they got it in their mouths before falling down laughing to themselves right now with grins now
As watching this was joker laughing as he watched the screens play out the mass amount of chaos for him right now with some gloves on controlling the plants
"Kobra venom got nothing on my good old fashion joker venom"he said
"Both work very well in concert"vertigo said impressed
As ivy said on a large root near them"yes but we're putting considerable strain on my poor babies"she said as she rubbed the brown root before it turned green again as ultra humanite approached the roots pressing a button on the devices that buzzes the plant
With wotan raising his hands"valetudo ut sero!"he shouted as he kept a hold on the plant
"We will keep her healthy, but she requires more power. Skull!;he shouted as the atomic skull stood on a platform behind the wotan before firing off a green energy from his hands that made the plant sprout to life now. As jack messed with his revolvers for a moment
"Well we should be good with our little partnership"he said before suddenly a alarm started to blare with rose walking over smiling as she stared at them
"We got some company"She said, raising her sword at the ready.
Bayou bartholomew october 1st 8:45pm
In the skies above the bioship was seen flying above as robin overlooked his birding for a moment as a kid flash eating a banana. As jinny was checking her rifle and six shooters right now she spotted kaldur carrying a duffle bag in hand right now eyeing it
What's in the bag of their fish boy?"She asked
"Plan B"he said firmly as suddenly m'gann felt a piercing headache for a moment with it catching some attention right now
"Hey, miss you, are you good?"wraith questioned very concerned
"Dizzy right now"she replied confusing them by her own feeling
"You can get airsick?"Robin wondered aloud
"Looking a little greener than usually babe"kid flash said bothering deliah internally right now that he said that
"Not me but her"she corrected for a moment confusing them as artemis pointed at herself
"Me? I feel great"She replied puzzled
"Not you or jinny or even bioship she's trying to shield us but…''She was stopped as suddenly the air crackled with electrical power. Before looking out the window the ship got its camouflage as right now standing in the air before them was the mighty black adam right now
With all the teens right now where all stunned for a moment from that hit, suddenly something happened. From the water several vines started to emerge trying to grab the ship and drag it under the water to drown its occupants.
As they were being dragged down trying to get their barriers, suddenly black Adam leaped onto the ship. Before digging his fist into it tearing it open making bioship scream out in immense pain as miss martian clutched her head in immense pain crying
Superboy growled, standing up, punching him off the ship. But that did nothing with the vines continuously dragging them down as artemis growled right now
"No way! I am not nearly drowning for a third mission in a row!"she said before grabbing a rebreather, placing it over her mouth and shoved one onto a kid's flash face. With deliah doing the same alongside jinny who laughed
"Nice thinking on bringing these bullseye"jinny said
"Hey cute nickname, got one for me?"kid flash asked with a grin under his rebreather as the three stared at him
"Miss martian opened the hatch we needed to get out."conner said as m'gann was about to but she was busy trying to keep everyone safe though she had an idea to breathe underwater. Suddenly from her neck gills sprouted as she swam toward a wall as the ships walls opened for them
"Everyone out"aqaulad said through their mindlink. All of them swiftly swam out of the hole to escape the watery death trap to avoid drowning. As they got out all of them were swimming out to try and get a grip on what was going on right now
With the water above being stationary soon enough the surface broke with jinny gasping for air tearing her rebreather off. Along with conner taking a large breath of fresh air as m'gann hopped out removing her gills turning back to her normal self. While their was the other tearing their rebreathers off
But m'gann watched them drag down her ship as she stared at it with an upset look
'Will she be okay?"robin asked
"She will but she's in shock right now"m'gann replied but suddenly they felt ear bleeding pain right now as they fell to the ground clutching their heads in pain. Kid flash painted pushing himself to his elbows looking at the source being count vertigo
"Vertigo"he said with vertigo growling
"Count vertigo"he corrected as superboy tried to get up and attack but immediately black Adam punched him in the face knocking him out. With aqualad getting to his feet pulling his water bears out from the swap and throws it at vertigo. But as it did bouncing like a fountain it pushed vertigo further away
"Robin, miss martian, hex disappear we can keep them busy"he said as the martian engaged her camouflage disappearing from their sight with jinny and robin running to hide right now. With aqualad gasping as black Adam knocked him out with him staring the children down right now.
With him picking up superboy onto his shoulders as kid flash was knocked out from vertigo attack alongside deliah right now. With wolf down for the count by rose who stood their smirking for a moment
"Two are missing"vertigo snarked
"It'll be fine besides have ivy take care of them she needs more greens"rose said with a grin staring down at wraith for a moment wondering some things to herself
Elsewhere right now Joker watches the chaos before him, seeing the planets right now decimating the entire world right now.
October 2nd 1:12am paris
In the city of love right now Martian Manhunter carries Aquald to the plant attacking the Eiffel tower. With the king of the sea dropping from the flight landing on top of the plant. As he began to immediately tear and rip his way through the vines with immense ease. A martian manhunter phazed through the vines to save the people trapped inside. As aqualad ripped through he found another group with the martian flying the others to the ground for safety
Taipei october 2nd 7:48am
The flash was running around the edge of a building with him hacking through the vines. But there was a man with blue skins and horns armed with a gold lance extending it hitting the ground firing a laser cutting through the plants right now around the reactors of a power plant
With the rear reactor crumbling under the vine and the alarms blare sparing out a massive cloud that rose. With it starting to glow as it reacted with the oxygen as captain adam flew ahead with him pulling the reaction into himself as he glowed orange before flying away for their safety
Texas october 2nd 2:23am
In the mighty city of drip springs right now revenant was sprinting around as his body glowed a neon green on his tribal tattoos. With him slicing and dicing his way through several vines with a vigilante with a leg cast on firing off shots the best he could as civilians ran away for their lives right now.
As the clown prince of crime enjoyed this marvelous show of the century right now enjoying the immense chaos before him right now.
It seems things are getting interesting with two new additions to the injusitce league being a former foe and possible new foe. Though what will happen next chapter and how will the team handle this new threat. Thanks for reading!
