In the last chapter we saw the team fighting against the injustice league along with them getting captured. Will they handle the threat like they did before in the show? This is part 2!Work belongs to greg wiseman and Brandon Vietti.
Chapter 23:Injustice league part 2
With the others right now being jinny, miss martian and robin. They were running through the woods as miss martian looked very unsettled right now with a nervous look on her face
"I blocked contact with aqualad and the others but we should go-"She was stopped
"Sorry that not the gig this is"he said as they kept running through the woods to find something. That being a larch glass atrium right now with jinny whistling at the sight right now before her
"Well ain't this swell this where these injustice jerks are?"she asked
"Seems so but ...looks like that plant is acting like an antenna"robin said pointing toward a plant sticking through the roof of the artium like some sort of signal amplifier.
"So we take that our and then what?"jinny replied but someone else spoke up sneaking up on them with a sinister laugh right now
"Well lookie here it's my darling daughter and some friends. '' Three- eyed Jack said, stunning them before a vine sprouted from close by trying to hold them both off the ground. But it grabbed them expect for them to get slightly caught off guard for a moment
With ultra humanite landing behind the martian as ivy stepped forward with a grin on her face raising her hand toward them
"Goodbye boy wonder you've been a pain"she said as she shot a vine forward with her plant powers but miss martian eyes glow green and the shot goes to the vines rather than to her. With all three splitting up right now as Ivy chased down the boy, wonder right now.
As he kept jumping over some vines with much ease right now as he slid underneath one before he ran forward. Then he jumped over another to grab a tree branch. Using the momentum he spun himself around twice to get some more speed to his next attack
As he released his grip in time before it was hit by the approaching vines with him kicking off by a nearby tree. As he landed on the ground gritting his teeth as it did hurt for a moment with him narrowing dodging another plant before he took off
As Miss Martian flew through some tree dodging a spray of shots from an ultra humanities rifle right now. As ultra humanite fired more rapidly, unable to see her right now as the martian kept herself focused right now.
While jinny was running forward before turning around for a brief moment firing a few shots at her father. With jack getting hit by one but his where more deadly. With him firing live rounds knocking ginny in the cheek as she winced in pain with him laughing as he spun his revolvers in tandem
"Jonah's little great granddaughter is nothing but a squat darling! You'll learn to listen to your pa!"he shouted, making her scoff as she kept running ahead to avoid her deranged father wondering if the others were okay right now.
Louisiana baiyu
There was nothing at first for deliah right now but she could hardly remember what happened right now. Though slowly but surely she was regaining conscious right now as she was groaning rubbing her head. As she woke up she found a strange sight right now
That being she was lying face down on a golden colored carpet that looked to be a cage. Though as she awoke she was met by someone specific right now laughing
"Well lookie here this little mask was blocking a pretty face..how ya been"rose spoke up startling her as deliah got on the offensive looking up seeing rose staring at her holding the mask that her friend mad making her growl
"Let that go now lady"She threatened releasing her face was seen with rose humming for a moment right now
"Nah because you and your friends are so cute when you sleep"Rose said, making her look at her teammates. She looked to see that superboy was passed out with wally as well alongside wolf. As artemis was awake right now with a still unconscious kaldur right now as artemis noticed her awake
"Heyya wraith…tried to stop her from taking your mask"Artemis said with a wince
As deliah realized her face was exposed for a moment but found that she still had her hood up. With her secretly pulling a cloth up to hide her mouth hoping that Rose didn't see her face but the assassin smirked under her own mask.
"You know it's interesting to see a newbie here who has never heard of you. Did the big supes run out of sidekicks to hand over to the slaughter"she taunted
"Funny miss i'm some cold blooded killer"artemis spat back making rose stare her down for a moment scoffing
"Well my father is a cold blooded killer….so are yours darling"she said to artemis making the blonde flinch as deliah stared at her for a long moment confused right now hearing that
"Shut up lady you're just making stuff up"deliah said but the assassin sighed laughing for a moment as she presented the mask waving it around
"Maybe I am or maybe I'm not ... .but we do share something with each other I'm sure right now,"Rose said, making her confused about what she was implying exactly with those words.
But down below jinny was running around hiding behind some trees avoiding her scumbag father right now. With jack looking around keeping an eye out for the troublesome daughter he had with the immortal man scanning the area right now but then someone camouflaged by her side startling her for a moment
"Gah don't sneak up on me like that"she whispered
"Sorry but i think someone made contact"m'gann said making the gunslinger cherry
"Really? artemis?"She asked excited
"Not exactly"m'gann said with a strange tone as they saw the cage above carrying their teammates fly above right now.
As right now with deliah staring at the white haired assassin for a long moment she was so confused right now what she meant by them sharing the same hair color right now making her just question things
"What are you talking about?"she asked
Before the women could answer suddenly something hit them that being the bioship. As it rammed itself behind Wotan knocking him out of the air into a lake right now. With the cage over black adam head disappearing as he swooped around catching count vertigo
But the teens all let out a sharp yell landing onto the ground from the drop. With wally, superboy, wolf, aqualad knee deep in muddy waters right now as black adam set the countdown for his safety
"Deal with the delinquents, not me!"he ordered as superboy growled looking over seeing a familiar albino gorilla as he smashed his fist together at the ready
"I hate monkey"he grumbled as he leaped forward punching the gorilla stunning it. With the albino ape punching back roaring as the two got involved in a fist fight for the safety of the world
While there was Artemis and kaldur staring down Ivy who made her way to a ridge just behind the two. With them reaching for their weapons but remembered they were missing with artemis scoffing
"I feel naked and not in a fun way right now"She said as kaldur stared at her for that simple little joke right now.
But as ivy raised herself up she brought down two more vines, sending one toward each of them. But kaldur narrowly dodging it with some ease as he missed the the joke
"We will make our own fun maneuver 7"he ordered as she smirked running back for a running start to the italian. As he threads his fingers together going into a squat right now. Her boots landed on his hands and using his strength he launches her up into the air.
As she was in the air she went high above before it gave her enough air time to strike. As she drove her boot into the plant themed villainess face taking her down to ground level as the two tag teamed her
With Wally hearing all of this as he was squaring off with count vertigo as they were on dry ground now. With him kicking it into high gear as he sped off toward vertigo. With the pulsating waves coming again making him slow down coming down to a near stop again
This gave black Adam the chance to backhand him to the ground knocking him back a few feet away from them.
"Where are robin, the martian and hex girl?"Virgo demanded as ultra humanite had a wolf biting into the nape of his neck but superboy roared coming in from a far right now for another hit. But with a harsh tug he knocks the clone back before reaching back
He pulled the mutt off before throwing it to the ground as the poor canine yelped from that hit for a moment with superboy getting angry for the ape hurting his new pet right now. While close by artemis jumped up roundhouse kicking ivy who barely ducked it.
But she then uses the vine from the ground to knock her back before looking over at the central command center before feeling something for a moment.
"My baby, are you okay? ''she said but the plant-like creature was soon covered in several small dots that began to blink for a moment. Before they all bleeped their last before blowing up in three massive explosions. The plant screeched out in pain catching fire before it started to collapse over the glass atrium
Ivy shielded her face from the heat as it was too much as on top of the roof right now was robin with miss martian and jinny who whistles down below
"Timber suckers!"she shouted with a smile on her face, this caused the plant controller to scream out in rage. Firing off several more vines toward them she planned to tear them all to shreds for harming the plants she cared so much about.
With Miss M taking flight, she raises her hands before destroying the vines from the inside with her powers. But as she did suddenly a laser hit her in the back knocking her down as she screamed but robin saw the source
That being atomic skull and joker now facing them down with the clown glaring"children? Children foiled are plan?"he asked coughing with a hoarse voice
"Inconceivable. Unacceptable. Retributionable!"he shouted but paused before lowering his voice to laugh
"Never mind it might not be a real word…sue me"he said with a joking matter like always as the teens all regrouped right now with deliah being knocked down as she was busy fighting with rose the entire time who dealt with her much ease on her end
"Kill them…all of them"vertigo directed as black Adam and ivy came toward the teens. But robin help the martian to her feet just in time dodging a laser from atomic skull with black adam swooping in taking superboy away as wolf charged at the gorilla.
Artemis looks around rapidly to try and figure out how she could fight before a blinding pain came to her. It caused her to fall to her knees in pain as count vertigo smirked before someone came in for the save
"Leave her alone creep!"wally shouted before he was hit back by wotan suddenly as the dark sorcerer got up to fight again.
Thinking quickly, Robin threw more explosive birdarangs as they donated into a plume of smoke. As it cleared it revealed Wotan in a protective bubble but his hands glowed blue before he created four lighting bolts throwing them in quick succession at robin and kaldur .
But Artemis screams as she is hit by one getting knocked out of vertigo range but he doesn't attempt to follow with Wally being knocked back by the force as well. While black adam threw superboy into a tree behind the albino gorilla leaving him open for a lighting hit as well with wolf knocked off again a now very sore ultra humanite by the lighting
With m'gann flying around dodging the attacks her eyes glowed green with bioship moving in command as the hole to the hull opened as the duffle kaldur had fallen out. Kladur noticing this ran over pulling out the helmet of doctor fate narrowing his gaze
Wotan noticed what he had"the helmet of fate!"he shouted as wally turned over stunned
"Kaldur no! Don't do it!"he begged but jack punched him in the side of the skull knocking him back. With superboy punching back black adam hitting the demigod through a tree with him cracking his neck coming for the powerhouse again
While kaldur inhaled for a moment putting on the helmet as a golden light covered his body. Before long he emerged in a long high collared cape with two large buttons beneath a blue shirt and golden oval set in the chest. With a golden belt and deep blue pants with golden belts.
Looking up wally grunted as jinny was by his side helping him up very confused
"The heck is up with kaldur?"she asked
"That helmet is the doctor's fate . Last time I put that thing on he wouldn't let me go. He's like the best magician or sorcerer in the whole world,"he said with a worried look as the cowgirl shared it with him.
As Wotan grunted, firing off a blast from his hands but fate had other things in mind. With him getting around before fired a golden beam from his chest where the two where hitting the dark sorcery in the chest. With fate beam stopping he began to wave his hand around in the air
Before suddenly out of thin air chains began to wrap around woten pinning the sorcerer against the greenhouse dome for now. With the two squaring off for a magical duel of the world.
As Robin was down below he could hear the splashing of someone's shoes in the mud as he picked himself up. To see none other than mad clown kicking him back right now as he pulled a switchblade grinning
'Wonderbread your mine!"he shouted laughing, swinging his knife to slash him up, getting too close to comfort. But robin was a little quick before planting his feet to spring jump over the manic before he was soon met face to face with the joker who pulled a second knife
"Now it's my turn to crave the bird!"he rasps for a moment charging at the teen with the full intent to kill right now.
Elsewhere m'gann was avoiding the plant themed villainess through a wooded area doing her best as vines shot past her. As they did the plant themed villain laughed unable to see her but that was just fine
"I can't see you but i can maybe hear your screams"she said with a intimidating threat
But close by, Vertigo stepped forward offering his assistance as he pressed his finger on his temple, firing off a blast of a pulsing wave. This wave was sent forward stunning the martian who accidentally turned her camouflage off gripping her head in immense pain screaming
Bolting in for the save was wally knocking the count off balance before tearing off a piece of his cloak in the process. Stunning by that moment the count turned to see kid flash with artemis in the air coming down with her leg for a roundhouse kick hitting him in the face for a solid punch
As he did this caused ivy and vertigo to knock off their feet into the mud right now. With them gathering themselves for a moment as wally panted heavily
"Dammit we gotta help kaldur him and wotan…he wearing fate helmet"he said aloud with worry watching and wotan fight right now hoping everything was okay but m'gann glanced around for a second as jack entered the fray to fight
"Where wraith?"She questioned
"No clue ask whoever is her sparring partner keep fighting"jinny said as they continued their fight right now for the safety of the world
But with the new superheroes teen wraith was busy fighting off that assassin. With rose chagrin in with two katana swinging them in tandem causing deliah to stumble for a moment as her haze like power could protect her from some minor hits but not indefinitely
With the assassin coming back in for another hit she dodged it before firing off a charged attack at her. This made Rose stumble back as she rubbed her jaw before dodging a spin kick from the heroine. As wraith came in for another attack rose gut checked her hard making her gasp in pain
Deliah fell to her knees groaning in pain with rose sighing in immense disappointment right now shaking her head for a long moment
"God here i thought you'd be an interesting fight kiddie"she taunted with a smile as the teen growled
"Shut up and give me my mask back"she demanded as Rose stared at her before dropping it to the ground. Then she stomped her foot on it a few times to the poor girl's shock right now as rose lifted her foot up revealing the smashed up mask right now
As wraith moved over to hold the destroyed mask her friend made for her rose laughed sighing for a long moment
"That was just cute because i mean….it's shameful how where even related"rose said suddenly making deliah confused for a brief moment
"W-what did you say?"deliah questioned as the white haired women stared her down sighing into a small smirk that crossed her face
"You heard me ... .little sister,"Rose said, making the poor teen go wide-eyed right now hearing those words before her right now being called sister by this mad woman right now. But as she was stunned suddenly rose heard something coming from her ear for a moment sighing
"Well what a shame i need to leave ...see you later girly"rose said before doing something that was throwing down a smoke pellet as it clouded deliah vision. The poor teen coughed and hacked several times to see what happened as she did she saw nothing
As nothing was left with the rose being gone to the winds as all that was left was one thing. That being her destroyed mask along with a calling card as the teen superheroine approached it. Picking it up she flipped it to reveal a nightshade flower on a black card with her confused about what she just saw right now.
But soon enough she decided to run back to the others to see if they needed help.
Though right now robin was dodging every hit imaginable from the clown prince of crime. With the joker leaping forward slashing at the bird themed hero laughing, raising a knife to cut him into pieces. But as he did suddenly a batarang hit his hand knocking the knives out
Looking up he saw none other than aquaman, batman, green arrow and black canary descending down to the scene with green lantern using one of his platforms to assist. As superman and captain marvel came flying infront of them as the injustice league regrouped
They all began to incircle them all trapping them with the dark knight stepping forward with a menacing look on his face
"Its okay"he threatened as vertigo exchanged a small look at ivy before he raised hands in a surrender position along with the others by his side right now following suit
"There will be another day"he said but the joker he was for one was not one to give up on a punchline or joke right now angering him right now.
"Another day?"he asked, surprised , making his teammates eye him down as Jack glared at him for reaching for his piece but kept a steady hand for now.
"Another day?! There won't be another day not for any of us!"he shouted laughing, raising his gloves hands using his fingers to control the vines. Before they rose up high as the red buds popped loudly in a rapid succession filling the air with a green gas
"Don't breathe it in joker venom spores"Batman commanded as he turned around to a still laughing joker before clocking his lights out. But before the gas could rise raising their hand was who created his symbol as the gas was soon sucked up
"Fear not fate has intervened" said as they won the battle for the day now.
After some time and rounding the villains up wally was in the process of scolding his friend kaldur right now for what he did along with the league
"I can't believe what you were thinking! Letting him put that helmet on? Nabu would have never released him and be trapped inside forever"wally said with kaldur sighing for a moment presenting the helmet
"He almost did not but your friend Kent was the most helpful…he says hello"kaldur said, making the speedster sight seeing that hearing of the previous holder of that old hunk of metal. Though batman stepped forward
"We're done here. You dismantled the supervillian secret society and as for your performance…it was satisfactory"he complimented as robin smiled with his teammates sharing that praise from the dark knight right now though artemis looked at the villains
"Where the white haired chick?"She asked as deliah paused holding her broken mask which nico noticed
"Bummer kiddio your mask that your friend made broke…you doing okay?"he questioned making her pause for a brief moment nodding
"I am…just….that assassin ran away she….almost killed me is all"deliah said with her mentor placing an arm around her back
"It'll be fine kiddio besides celebration is in order for tonight come on"nico said with the team all getting back onto the bioship for a job well done. But what that assassin said to her lingered inside of deliah head wondering something….who was her father?
Because watching a feed right now of the interior incident was a man shrouded in darkness right now cupping his chin with a grin on his face for what he just saw
"Well i think this was a good little test…nice job rose….not too shabby i say because i may need to make a visit to a certain women of mine"the man said thinking of meeting this daughter of his right now as someone placed a hand on his shoulder
"In due time my friend ... .because the shadows will conceal our light"a male voice said as several figures in the shadows remained therefore now it seems hiding something from the world.
It seems the team has saved the world and earned the dark knight respect. Though what did rose mean by calling deliah her little sister maybe find out till next chapter? See you then thanks for reading!
