It wasn't a total surprise when Magnus passed out. He had to have used a tremendous amount of magic to heal Luke. That doesn't mean that Alec isn't worried. Whether he wants to believe it or not he does care for Magnus. Ever since they met the night that Alec saved Magnus' life he has been drawn to the warlock. Now said warlock is lying unconscious in his lap, both of them half sitting/laying in an awkward position. This is definitely not comfortable for him thus must not be comfortable for the warlock in his lap. He needs to get Magnus to his bed so he can get some real rest.

Alec contemplates how he should do this. Magnus is showing no signs of waking up and he doubted that if he was to wake up he couldn't even get off the floor much less stay standing. He doesn't want to cause the unconscious man leaning on him any more discomfort but he has to get off of this floor. To his left he sees his parabatai come into view. "Need a hand?", Jace asked. Alec says a thankful prayer to angels that his parabatai does have a soft side at times. Jace gently takes the dead weight of the sleeping man long enough for Alec to get to his feet. He gets to his feet and stretches his sore muscles. Giving someone strength is harder on the body than Alec realized. Once he is ready Alec goes to pick up his charged. Jace asks, "Do you want me to take him?" seeing how tired his parabatai is himself. Alec waves him off with a small smile and a "I've got him". Even though Alec and Jace had been arguing for a few days now this seemed to take the edge off the situation. Both Alec coming and helping Magnus and Jace offering to help in return.

He doesn't know why but he feels responsible for man. Alec bends down and puts one arm behind the bend of Magnus' knees and the other around the back of his shoulders and lifts the smaller man into his arms. Magnus' head falls limply to his shoulder and his face into the crook of his neck. A pained moan escapes the unconscious man's lips as his face crumpled in pain. Alec's heart melt a little. He hates seeing Magnus in pain, even if he was unconscious. It was then that he noticed that there was heat radiating off of the pale, unconscious man. Is it normal for warlocks to run a fever after using this much magic? Alec whispers a "Shh take it easy Magnus. I've got you." This seems to calm the man and he goes back into a slightly fitful sleep. It amazes him that even though they have only known him for a couple of days how much Magnus trusts him.

It takes him a few minutes but eventually Alec is able to find Magnus' bedroom. Contrary to what it looks like on the outside, Magnus' apartment is quite large on the inside. Once he comes into the room Alec sits Magnus on the large bed. Not knowing where any of Magnus clothes were or his preference Alec starts with taking off his shoes. Then he began to work off the many different rings, necklaces, and bracelets that adorned the warlocks body. That had to make him at least a little bit more comfortable right? The blanket of the bed was pulled up to his shoulders. Alec stood at the side of the bed taking in the sight of the man before him. In sleep he looks a lot younger. It was then that he remembered the fever that the warlock had developed. Alec found his way into the ensuite bathroom and got a cloth with cool water and placed it on the unconscious mans forehead. As much as he wanted to stay and watch over the man laying in the bed he felt the need to check on the others. As he left the room he left the door slightly ajar so that he could hear if Magnus woke up and needed anything. Alec made his way back down the hallway to the main part of the apartment.
