Marshall says, " I am sorry to interrupt this moment, but Rocky, you need to keep off your paw. How about you come to my pup house? I need to talk to you as well."

Rocky says, " Oh right, I do, Marshall. I guess I should rest up a little bit."

Chase says, " I will see you soon, Daddy," as he goes back into the lookout."

Zuma says, " I will see you soon too, Rocky, but I got to go after Chase."

So Marshall and Rocky go into Marshall's pup's house.

Marshall says, " Rocky, you can lay on my bed, but I got a few questions I need you to answer for me, Rocky."

Rocky says, " Oh ok, thank you, Marshall, and what are these questions you want to ask me, Marshall?" As he is getting comfortable on Marshall's bed.

Marshall says, " Well, I would like to know why my brother Chase is in a diaper and acting like a puppy again."

Rocky says, " About that, I thought Chase would have told you, but I guess not, so I will tell you, but you must give me your word that you will not tell the others about it."

Marshall says, " Why not Rocky? Don't you trust me?"

Rocky says, " I do trust you, Marshall, but because I am a good pup. I am afraid to is all."

Marshall says, " You can trust me, Rocky."

Rocky says, " Oh ok, Marshall, I just do not want the others to know that it was me that told you."

Marshall says, " Oh ok, Rocky, I will not tell the others. I may tell Ryder, but that is only because I am EMT pup Rocky."

Rocky says, " Oh ok, but if you tell Ryder I want to be with you, when do it Marshall okay?"

Marshall says, " I am oh ok with that. Now, can you tell why my best friend is in a diaper and acting like a puppy again, Rocky?"

Rocky says, " Oh ok, Marshall. Zuma hypnotized Chase to be like that. I guess Chase wanted to be hypnotized. Zuma showed me everything he did to Chase when he put him under hypnosis from his Paw Book. He made it so the triggers will work when I say them to Chase as well. That is why Chase called me Daddy Marshall because I am Zuma's boyfriend, or I thought I was, but ever since he put Chase under hypnosis, it is all he cares about. I mean, I am no one now ever since he did that to Chase. I could not believe I was his boyfriend. I want to know if it was to get to Chase. Even if it was not to get to him, now it is over. I am dumping his ass."

Marshall says, " Wow, I have known Chase for a long time, and I never knew he wanted to be under hypnosis or that he wanted to be like that. I guess I do not even know my best friend that well now."

Rocky says, " I understand that, Marshall. I thought I knew Zuma, but after what did to Chase, I do not know now."

Marshall says, " If I was your boyfriend, Rocky, I would always put you first before anyone else."

Rocky says, "Aaawww... thank you, Marshall. I mean, this is a little fast for me. I mean, on the one hand, yes, Marshall, I would love to be your boyfriend, but on the other hand, I do not want to piss off Zuma right now. I mean, what if he puts me under hypnosis as well, and I end up like Chase is? Zuma's baby toy? I mean, all Zuma has to say is a few words, and then I will do whatever Zuma wants and will not question it at all, just like Chase is. In other words, Marshall, I could be Zuma's mindless puppet, just like Chase is, just like that, and you don't want that, do you, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " No, of course not! But wait, Zuma can do what now? He can make Chase what he wants him to do, just like that, Rocky?"

Rocky says, " Yes, he can Marshall."

Marshall says, " Why not have Chase tell Ryder what Zuma did to him?"

Rocky says, "I am not sure Marshall, but if I do try this, I will have to find a time to use the trigger words so when I use them, Zuma will not just put him back to normal."

Marshall says, " I see. Wait back it up a little bit now. You would be, oh ok, if I was your boyfriend Rocky?"

Rocky says, " Yes, I would, Marshall. I mean, yes, you use water every day, and I do not know if I will ever get over that fear, Marshall..."

Just then, Marshall cuts off Rocky, goes over to him, and kisses him right on his lips.

Rocky blushes red, and then out of nowhere, he kisses Marshall back.

After a minute or so.

Rocky says, " Oh wow, Marshall, that was some kiss."

Marshall says, " I am sorry about that Rocky. I understand it was out of line for me to do that, but I have to find out if we have a chance for this to work, I have had a crush on you for a long time Rocky I just did not know how to tell you. I mean I work with water every day and I know you hate it and I did not think a pup like you would like me because of my clumsiness but going by that kiss I would say yes right Rocky?

Rocky says, " Yes, we do, Marshall, and I love your clumsiness it makes you who you are, Marshall. But I do not want you to tell the others about us just yet, so please do not tell the others, Marshall."

Marshall says, " Oh ok, I will not tell the others about this stuff, but I got to try and tell Ryder about the hypnosis Zuma did to Chase. Now you get some sleep, Dr. Marshall orders, oh ok, Rocky. I will come back in a little bit to check up on you. Oh, ok."

Rocky says, " Oh ok, my love."

Rocky says to himself, "I am never getting over talking to Marshall like that. It's so cute!"

Marshall says, " I love you too, Rocky, I am going to go try and tell Ryder about the hypnosis. Zuma put Chase under." Then quietly leaves his pup house so Rocky can sleep soundly.

As Marshall is coming out of his pup house, he sees Ryder.

Ryder says, " Hello there Marshall, where is Rocky, may I ask? He said that he would meet me out front."

Marshall says, " About that Ryder, that one is on me. He is in my pup house sleeping right now, Ryder."

Ryder says, " That is, oh, ok, Marshall, as Rocky is resting, that is all that matters right now."

Marshall says, " I got to tell you why Zuma hypnotized Chase Ryder."

Ryder says, " I know, Marshall. Chase wanted this. I will have him tell you and the others why he wanted Zuma to hypnosis him."

Marshall says, " Oh ok, Ryder. I will go get Rocky."

Ryder says, " It is, oh ok, Marshall, he needs the rest he can get right now. I will tell him later, oh ok."

So Marshall and Ryder go inside the lookout.

Ryder says, " Oh good, you are all still here. I got some news to tell you guys."

All the pups say, " Oh ok, Ryder, what is it."

Ryder says, " As you can see, Rocky is not here. Do not worry, he is fine. He got a little burn when he was fixing the wires for the telephone pole. He is resting right now, so I will tell him the news later. Chase, I need you to tell the others what Zuma did to you."

Chase says, " Oh ok, Wyder." As he goes up in fwont of the othews and he says, " As you can see, I am in a diapew. I got to tell you why? Befowe I was in the paw patwol, my bwothews would play jokes and pwanks on me. Well, they put me under hypnosis. I am not going to tell you guys what exactly they did to me. I am sowwy. I just can't, but I will say it was not vewy nice things. Zuma told me he could help me fix the problem. You guys awe seeing the side effects of what Zuma did to me. Zuma would be able to tell you guys what he did to me and why I talked funny and stuff like that."

Zuma says, " I guess that is where I come in. Chase is like this because the only way I could undo what his brothers did to him was to put him back under hypnosis. I guess the hypnosis is overlapping. I am sorry about this, Chase."

Chase says, " Why awe you sowwy da... I mean Zuma."

Zuma says, " I got to tell them about what your brothers did to you, Chase."

Chase says, " I will do it, Zuma. I will tell you guys a little bit about it, but not all of it oh ok guys."

All the pups say, " Oh ok, Chase, that sounds good to us."

Ryder says, " To himself, so that is what is happening the hypnosis is overlapping with the hypnosis his brothers did. The only question now is which did Zuma make him and which did his brothers do."

Zuma says, " That works for me."

Chase says, " My bwothew whewe not the nicest to me. They hypnosis me to make me a baby, not physically but mentally, so they put me into diapews and stuff like that. They would not let me take them off until I used them fow going pee and poop in it the diapews. They made it so I had the mental health of a puppy of the age of 1 or 2. I can't help it if Zuma Daddy fow the remaining time of the side effects, which I do not know how long they will last pups, so I may be like this fow a little bit longew."

All the pups say, " Wow, Chase, we did not know you went all of that before you came here."

Skye says, " Personally, I think you look cute in that diaper Chase."

Tracker says, " I am with Skye. You look very cute in that diaper Chase."

All the other pups look over at him like they forgot he was there.

Chase says, " Thank you guys for this, mostly you, Tracker. I mean, for a pup to go out of his way to do something for a pup, he barely knows is a good pup."

Ryder says, " Oh, that reminds me I got to tell you guys the good news. Tracker will become a member of the PAW Patrol. I am sorry that I do not have a pup pack for you yet, but I do have this for you, Tracker. I did not know what to put on it, but we have Rocky make you new when we find out what job you will have here at PAW Patrol."

So Tracker gets up to get the pup tag from Ryder.

Ryder says, " I did not know you needed a diaper Tracker you could have told me."

Tracker says, " That is what Chase meant, Ryder. I do not need diapers. I have one, so Chase would see that is oh ok to be different and not be shamed to have one on. My old owner did teach me some stuff. One of them is to respect other people/pups for not being the same as you and try to do the best you can to make them feel comfortable even doing weird stuff like wearing diapers."

Ryder says, " That was a speech Tracker."

Tracker says, " Thank you, Ryder. I would like to talk to you with Zuma being there as well."

Marshall says, " Ryder, I would like to talk to you as well, but I will let you talk to Tracker and Zuma first."

Ryder says, " Oh ok we can talk in my room. I will let you know when I am done, Marshall."

Marshall says, " Thank you, Ryder."

Then Tracker and Zuma follow Ryder to his room.

Ryder says, " Oh ok, what is you wanted to tell me, Tracker."

Tracker says, " It is about why you found me out in the windstorm, Ryder."

Ryder says, " What do mean by that Tracker?"

Tracker says, " Well, the reason I was in the windstorm is well, it's because of what my ass owner Carlos did to me, Ryder. he threw me out into the streets because I am gay and I am a TB/DL. That is not how a good owner should treat his puppy? Right, Ryder?"

Ryder says, " You are right, Tracker, that is no way to treat a puppy. We here at PAW Patrol HQ will be your new home/family Tracker."

Tracker says, " Thank you so much for all this, Ryder. Oh, right, the reason why I wanted Zuma here. I need your permission before I have Zuma do this."

Ryder says, " What is it that you wanted my permission for Tracker?"

Tracker says, " I wanted your permission before I have Zuma hypnosis me. I want to be a puppy again, Ryder. I know how that sounds and all. I will not let it get in my way of doing my job here at PAW Patrol HQ Ryder."

Ryder says, " Thank you for coming to me before you have Zuma do that to you, Tracker, but I can understand why."

Tracker says, " I want to be a baby again because I feel more me when I have a diaper on and a pacifier in my mouth. I feel happy. I do not have to worry about all the adult stuff. I can go to the bathroom whenever I want to. I get more attention when I have a diaper on as well. Some people just love to see puppies in a diaper, and I know if I have a diaper on, there will always be someone who will help me as well. The other reason for it is that I want to be me and not what my stupid owner Carlos wanted. He did not let me do that. I just want to be free to be who I want to be. So what if I am a pup that wears diapers and plays with toys that are for babies? It makes me happy, and I want Zuma to make it so I can not remember Carlos at all as well."

Ryder says, " I do not see any harm in it. Why not let Zuma do it?"

Tracker says, " Thank you, Ryder, Sir." As he goes over to Ryder, he licks Ryder's face.

Ryder says, " Oh ok, oh ok, that is enough, Tracker. I get that you are very happy, but you have to be careful with your paw. The cut on it may reopen, and we do not want that."

Tracker says, " Oh right. I am just very excited about this Ryder. I do make one request when you do this, Zuma."

Ryder says, " To himself, it is nice Zuma is helping the other pups like this. I just hope he is not making them do stuff they do not want to as well. I do know a little bit about hypnosis. I mean, I did see Mayor Humdinger's Cousin hypnosis Humdinger. I know there is always a way to get them out of it."

(P.S.) This part is from one of my other books. Well, it is not a book. I have a book called One Shorts of PAW Patrol. It only has 2 chapters, but that is where this is coming from. I will revamp it a little bit and make it part of this book as a flashback, but not yet. So for now, you have to read that if you want to know why Ryder says that. I will add it here, but it is not time yet."

Zuma says, " What is that, Tracker?"

Tracker says, " When you make me forget about Carlos, can you make it so I remember all the stuff he taught me? What I mean is yes, he did throw me out in the streets, but he did teach me a lot of stuff that I needed to know."

Zuma says, " So tell me if this is what you want Tracker. You want me to make it so you forget Carlos but not the stuff he taught you right."

Tracker says, " Si, I mean yes, Zuma."

Zuma says, " I can do that, Tracker, but I think we should go to my pup's house to hypnosis you, Tracker. It will make you feel more comfortable."

Tracker says, " Oh ok Zuma, I will just follow you there."

So Zuma and Tracker make their way to Zuma's pup's house.

Ryder goes to his door after Zuma and Tracker leave his room.

Ryder says from his door, " Marshall, I can talk to you now."

Marshall says, " Oh ok, Ryder. As he makes his way to Ryder's room.

Ryder says, " What did you want to tell me? As Ryder is closing the door.

Marshall says, " I have to tell you what Zuma is trying to do, Ryder."

Ryder says, " What do you mean, Marshall? He is just trying to Chase and Tracker."

Marshall says, " It may look like that on the surface Ryder, but what you don't know is that Zuma gave Chase trigger words that if he says them. Chase will do what Zuma wants him without questioning him at all Ryder."

Ryder says, " What? Are you 100% sure on this Marshall?"

Marshall says, " Yes, I am Ryder, but I just do not know how to end his game yet. I mean, I do not think this was his plan at first Ryder. I think it came to him over time."

Ryder says, " What do you mean over time, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " Just think about Ryder. I am, I mean, if I were him, I would have used that kinda thing, but for some reason, he has made Chase do weird stuff. I say that because Zuma doesn't like it when Chase uses his megaphone to get him up."

Ryder says, " You are right about that, Marshall, but if he is up to something, what could it be?"

Marshall says, " I do not know what he is up to, but I think he will try to get to others also, Ryder. I, as an EMT pup, will tell you some of the signs of hypnosis. I know what they are because I have been under hypnosis before."

Ryder says, " Oh right, I remember that day."

Marshall says, " I know this is going to sound Ryder, but I got to tell you this because I love my friends. Also, this must stay between you and me Ryder."

Ryder says, " Normally, I say I do not know if I can keep stuff from the others, but being a leader has made me understand something, Marshall."

Marshall says, " Wow, Ryder, I did not know that is how you feel. what did you understand, Ryder?"

Ryder says, " It made me understand that sometimes it is oh ok be selfish, Marshall.

Marshall says, " Say what now, Ryder? Did I hear you correctly?"

Ryder says, " Yes, you did, Marshall. I say that because it is not possible to make everyone happy. Do not get me wrong, Marshall. I love doing this with you, pups, and it makes me happy to help people. But I guess what I am trying to say Marshall is I make everyone happy, but by doing so, I can't do what I want to do. What I mean is that I would like to go just have fun by myself, but because I am a leader, I can't just leave my pups like that. Do you understand what I mean, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " I do understand Ryder, because what I am going to tell you is a little bit of what you just said."

Ryder says, " What now, Marshall?

Marshall says, " I know how this is going to sound, Ryder, but this is the only way you will understand how I know why he is going to try to get the other pups."

Ryder says, " Oh ok, I will not tell the others about it because I think I know what is about. It is about the day you were hypnosis, right, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " It is Ryder, but I need you to tell me the truth about that day. I say this because I think that day was when Zuma started to think about it, Ryder. I am an EMT pup, I pick up on patterns."

Ryder says, " What do you mean by patterns? Going on missions is a pattern, but I do not think that is what you are thinking, right?"

Marshall says, " No, I am not Ryder. What EMT calls a pattern is more like a side effects of something. Us EMTs get to think this way because most people have a certain routine. So when you see someone do something that is out of that pattern, you have to keep an extra eye on them. I mean, sometimes they go out of that pattern for a reason, but if it is not that far off, that they are from their pattern makes sense that is just people trying to change which is good for some people but not all, but yes what you do about some people, they have to find out the hard way to fix change themselves."

Ryder says, " Wow, Marshall, I do not. You do all that when you are on the job. But Chase is like that too he says when he it is on the job, you have to look for patterns."

Marshall says, " Yes, you are right. That is the other reason I know he is up to something Ryder."

Ryder says, " Oh ok now I am a little confused about this Marshall."

Marshall says, " Oh ok, I know how else to put it. But Chase has not been in the pattern for a few days now. I mean, he did not even get us up with his megaphone Ryder. That is way out of the pattern for Chase. I noticed this kinda thing because I am an EMT. It is not on purpose it has been a second nature to me, Ryder."

Ryder says, " I understand that, and I thank you for that, Marshall. But how does it help us, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " Well, Ryder Sir, for starters, his pattern is a little bit too fast. What I mean is that I knew from the second I saw Chase in a diaper, I know Zuma did stuff to him when he was under hypnosis. I know this because I bet I had that look on my face when I was under hypnosis Ryder. Chase had the same look, Ryder. When Mayor Humdinger used the trigger on me."

Ryder says, " Triggers?"

Marshall says, " Oh, sorry, Ryder." I am just a little shocked, that is all."

Ryder says, " I get that Marshall. All I know about triggers is that if a word or words gets said, it makes the person do stuff. Like when you were under hypnosis, right?"

Marshall says, " Yes. Ryder, so I know what it looks like in a pup or case symptoms of it."

Ryder says, " Symptoms of it?"

Marshall says, " Yes, I get into that later. But the bottom line here is Ryder. I need you to look for any other stuff that the pups do in the next few days. Oh, ok, Ryder. I am not being mean. This is my EMT side showing, and I am sorry, Ryder. I do not know how much time we have, but I have to tell you what happened that day because it could be linked to this. So please let go of the thought of some of it, okay? We need your help."

Ryder says, " Oh ok, Marshall, and being a good leader, I have learned that sometimes you just be quiet and listen. I am all ears, Marshall."

Marshall says, " Oh, I am going to give the short version of this right now only because I do not know how much time we have."

Ryder says, " How about this, Marshall? Tell me just the basics for now."

Marshall says, " Oh ok. I tell you how I think this started that should cover more of the basics."

Just then, Ryder's pup pad goes off it is farmer Yumi.

Yumi says, " Ryder, it's farmer Yumi. Some of my chickens got stuck in some trees because of the windstorm. Can you help me get to them before it the windstorm comes back?"

Ryder says, " Yes, I will have some of my pups go help you, just give me a few minutes and I send help to you Yumi."

Yumi says, " Thank you, Ryder. I will see what I can do in the meantime to help them. Bye, Ryder.

Ryder says, " Oh ok, bye Yumi."

Then Ryder hangs up.

Marshall says, " This mission can help you, Ryder."

Ryder says, " What do you mean help me, Marshall?"

Marshall says, " I need you, me, and Chase on this mission, Ryder. I know that out of pattern for me to say because it is your job to give us orders, but please hear me out. It may be the only time I will get to be with Chase and not have Zuma there."

Ryder says, " Give me a short of why, and I will do it."

Marshall says, " EMT version does that work for you, Ryder.

Ryder says, " Yes, because this version could help me understand more of what to look for so I can help the others."

Marshall says, " Yes, it will help you understand a lot about it, Ryder.

Ryder says, " Oh ok, I will make this happen. Under one condition, Marshall.

Marshall says, " What is that, Ryder?

Ryder says, " I want to know the truth about that day. I will not make you tell the others if you do not want to."

Marshall says, " I will tell you, and then you help me decide if I should tell the others."

Ryder says, " Now Marshall, we do not have time to waste. I need you to get your fire gear on, okay?"

Marshall says, " Oh ok it only takes a minute. We just have to get the others here into the elevator."

Ryder says, "That I can do Marshall."

Ryder pulls out his puppad

Ryder says, " PAW Patrol to the lookout!

Meet me in the hang room this time. Pups, I will explain why when you guys get here."

(You know how this part goes P.S do not put it because the chapter is already too long.)

Ryder says before the others come in, " Marshall, I want you to use the least amount of power you can. What I am saying is, can you take your time on this one? Because of wires being like they are, I do not want to use that much power."

Marshall says, " I can do it, but just remember it's got to be just Chase, you, and me, but I will be getting ready to go."

Ryder says, " I will do that, Marshall."

as he watches Marshall get in the elevator.

Meanwhile, back with the other pups.

(POV Zuma and Tracker)

(I say other pups because the next part is happening at the same time. What I mean is this is what is going with the other pups when Marshall is taking to Ryder. I wanted the reader to know that is going on at the same time.)

Zuma and Tracker are just getting to his pup house.

Tracker says, " This is a little bit weird, Zuma."

Zuma says, " I know it is, but this because they are also our work vehicles Tracker.

Tracker says, " What now?"

Zuma says, " I know right all pups that are in the PAW Patwol get one."

Tracker says, " So do you mean I am going to get one? I hope so."

Zuma says, " Yes, I bet he tell you he has a pup house soon, but first he wants to wait a few days just in case the windstorm comes back, and he will need Rocky to as well to build it, who is injured right now so it will be a few days."

Tracker says, " That is so cool."

Zuma says, " I know, but for now, you can see the inside of a puphouse."

So, they both go into Zuma pup house.

Zuma says, " Tracker, get on my bed, and I will start to hypnosis you, Tracker."

Tracker says, " Hay Zuma, I want to if you make me feel a baby before you start."

Zuma says, " I can, but by doing so when I put you under hypnosis it a lot stronger than normal, and you will end having side effects like Chase is having."

Tracker says, " Oh, I see Zuma, which one should I do."

Zuma says, " Well, I would pick one where you are a baby, but that is me. This is up to you, Tracker."

Tracker says, " Oh ok. I know which one I want to do, Zuma."

Zuma says, " You do, Tracker? That was fast."

Tracker says, " I know it was, but I want you to do..."

(I know it is a weird place to stop, but it is a good stop as well. I know the first part of the next chapter will not make a lot of sense at first, but once you start to read, it makes sense of why I am stopping here. I am sorry it is kind of just how I write. I mean, every writer has their own way of writing right this kind of my way of putting my style into my writing.)
