Chapter 10: Enter the Dark Masters: Domino Appears: Goku Enters the Battle
Somewhere in the Digital world, a group of menacing-looking Digimon were gathering in a building on top of a mountain. They looked to be the ones causing issues in the Digital World, and they were looking at the human world that was in the sky. The humans, in a state of utter confusion and fear, were trying to comprehend the chaos unfolding in the digital world.
"Ha, ha, ha, look at those pathetic whelps of humans in that world of theirs. They have no idea how much trouble is because of us taking over the Digital World." A clown-like Digimon with what looked to be daggers on his back laughed as if it was all a game to him.
"You seriously have a sick sense of the word's fun there. Seriously, we should go ahead and start killing the other Digimon here in this world as things are getting boring, given that those humans have left this world," a metal-like serpent said to the clown Digimon, who stopped laughing and noticed that the said humans were coming back to the Digital World. "Speaking of, we might as well kill them instead of messing with them."
"That won't be necessary, as it would be boring if they we did that, not to mention none of their Digimon can't even come close to our power, let alone know what they're in for, let's say we give them a good warm welcome to what they left shall we?" the clown Digimon said to his companions who nodded minus the grunts of the metal serpent's complaints.
Meanwhile, the DigiDestined, their partners, Ash, Lillie, Pikachu, Snowy, and Falcomon, had arrived in the Digital world. While things have changed in some ways, to Tai, the others feel like the world has mostly stayed the same.
"So this is the Digital World. It definitely looks a bit similar to our dimension, not going to lie," Ash said to Lillie and the others.
"I'm not going to lie, Ash. It does," Pikachu said to Ash as the world looked colorful and not too much like the city back in the real world.
"I'm not sure how things looked in your world, but this is the Digital World. It's been a while since we last been here; we should have allies here; however, we don't know what has been going on since we left. What about you, Falcomon? Do you know anything before you left to join our cause?" Tai said to Falcomon, who shook his head.
"No, I'm afraid not. I lost communications with my contacts due to the damage Myotismon did before he left; finding out that something else is happening here in this world means things are much more serious than I thought," Falcomon said to the group.
"So we're not blind, just like we were back when we first arrived in the Digital World, huh?" Matt said to Tai and Falcomon as Falcomon crossed his wings. He hated being left out of the loop, given how his species is known for that, as he noticed something was on the ground nearby, which Mimi noticed and recognized.
"Chuumon," Mimi said as she and Palmon ran over to the rodent Digimon, and the group also noticed him.
"Mimi?" Chuumon said to Mimi, who was holding him. "Mimi, is that really you? You all came back to the Digital world," Chuumon said, as everyone was curious about what was going on.
Chuumon was getting healed up from some of his injuries though he looked rough.
"Is everything okay? I mean, the last we saw you was with your friends and Sukamon, what happened?" Mimi said to Chuumon, who was starting to cry. "Hey, it's okay, just try to calm down and tell us what happened when you can," Mimi said. Falcomon was curious as to what was going on, as did Ash.
"Ever since you guys left things have gotten better since Myotismon left however in the past few days things went to good to bad instantly and Sukamon was killed," Chuumon said to the group as everyone was surprised by this. "It's all because of those Dark Masters."
"Uh, Dark Masters?" Everyone said as they never heard of them and this was the first time that Ash, Lillie and Falcomon heard of them as well.
"They're very powerful and dangerous Digimon that just recently came to the Digital World, even more powerful than Myotismon himself. Each one is based on different elements and areas here in the Digital world," Chuumon said to the group. The group was surprised by this, given that, as of late, Myotismon was the strongest Digimon they'd faced till now. Well, for Tai's group, that is, as Ash noticed something.
"Say that's a weird mountain right there; it wasn't there when we saw it from the real world?" Ash said, remembering most of the stuff that was shown from what he saw before coming to this world.
"I agree, Ash. That wasn't there when I left this world, and it's very weird as well, the way it was formed and all that, " Falcomon said to Ash as Tai and the others saw it and were curious about it, and Chuumon spoke up, shivering.
"Stay far away from that mountain; that's Spiral Mountain," Chuumon told the group in a warning tone as the group turned to him. Even though the Dark Masters are in their areas, that is their home base, one in the sea, forest, city, and Darkness, each one stronger than the next," Chuumon said to the group.
"Sounds like an Elite 4 in a way," Lillie muttered to Ash, who, after thinking about it, saw the similarities.
"It sure does, Lillie, but that would mean they have their leader or someone else pulling the strings," Ash said to Lillie as Falcomon listened to all this and thought the same thing, though he wasn't aware of what Ash meant by this Elite Four in his dimension.
Just as Tai and the others were wondering what Ash and Lillie were talking about, they heard laughter nearby as many of them were looking around.
"Show yourself," Tai shouted, wondering where the laughter came from.
"I must admit, for the humans from another world, you sure are brave to call someone like myself out like that," A voice called out as it appeared in the ocean nearby them as a massive machine-like serpent showed up.
"That looks like Seadramon? But it looks much more menacing than before?" Mimi said as Chuumon shivered upon seeing the beast.
"That's one of them, one of the Dark Masters, the one who rules over the water, MetalSeadramon," Chuumon said to the group, surprising them.
"Telling them who we are. You are such a stupid rodent. You all are lucky that right now, we are not going to kill you right away," MetalSeadramon said as Pikachu tried to use a Thunderbolt Attack, but it did nothing to the water serpent Digimon.
"Is that the best that a pathetic rat Pokemon of your species, some champion Pokemon if you couldn't even do much damage to me like that," Metal Seadramon said, laughing? "Then again, to us Digimon, you would be in the Rookie stage of us Digimon compared to what Dark Masters are really," MetalSeadramon said as Izzy looked him up and found something horrific.
"He's not an Ultimate Digimon. That is what Chuumon meant by that. They're stronger than Myotismon," Izzy said to the group, who turned to him. "According to this, he's a Mega Digimon," Izzy said as the group was surprised.
Pikachu was sparking electricity upon MetalSeadramon, calling him a Rookie. Ash patted his starter on the head as he pulled out a Pokeball.
"In that case, maybe this would be up your alley. Lapras, come on out," Ash sent out his Water/Ice Type, who saw the huge metal Serpent and knew where Ash was going with this. Freeze Dry now, Lapras."
Lapras blasted a massive Ice attack at the Metal Serpent Digimon, and just as he was about to laugh it off, it hit him, causing him to get roasted from the attack's side effects.
"What the?" MetalSedramon said as he tried to cool off, but the ice was really damaging his metal-alloyed body.
"And in my dimension, you would be a steel/water type, though maybe some ice type might be in there," Ash said with confidence, given that MetalSedramon was making comparisons.
"You little brat. You're lucky that I'm not killing you now," MetalSedramon said as he slammed his tail into the water, sending the whole gang into another area of the Digital World.
"Man, what a sore loser," Lapras told the group, who all nodded in agreement.
"If that's how these so-called Dark Masters act when they don't get their way, then we might have a better chance in this fight," Ash said to his Pokemon and the others as Lapras was grimacing in pain for some reason. "Huh? What's wrong, Lapras?"
"I'm fine, Ash. That attack did a lot more to me than I thought; even with my best move, he managed to injure me," Lapras said. Ash understood and returned her to her Poke ball.
"I have a feeling that that was just the welcoming committee," Falcomon said," as Tai and the others nodded.
The group was about to head off to try and regroup only to hear shaking on the ground and heavy breathing as a massive mechanical beast of a machine was walking towards the group Chuumon shivers even more than before and boy did it's pressence make it show that it's not something that can be taken lightly.
"That's the one who rules over the city, Machinedramon," Chuumon said as Izzy looked him up and wasn't surprised that it was another Mega Digimon.
"Humph, you might as well. Just do not look me up anymore because the rest of us Dark Masters are Mega Level," Machinedramon said as the other Digimon were ready to face this thing. "Humph, don't waste your breath, as Falcomon here said this is our way to say hi, but we won't be easy on you all when we see you again," Machinedramon said. Patamon digivolved and tried to blast him, only to be swatted like a fly, returning to the rookie stage.
T.K. rushed to pick up his partner as Ash pulled out a Pokeball.
"Charizard, come on out," Ash sent his fire starter. "Use Overheat on Machinedramon," Ash commanded his Pokemon, nodded, and blasted Machinedramon with a massive ball of fire. Given that he would be labeled as a Steel Type, Machinedramon took it pretty badly, only for him to slam his arm into the ground, sending the group underground.
"You're his problem now, but mark my words, brat. You'll pay for that," Machinedramon called, still feeling that Overheat attack. It had done a good job on him as the group was falling, only for them to stop in midair.
"Huh? What the?" Tai said, and the group wondered what was going on as well. Ash returned Charizard to his ball wanting to save his ace in the hole against Machinedramon healthy.
"I'll save you for later, Charizard, but man, that Machinedramon took the strongest fire move Charizard knows, and it's still standing. We're truly up against Elite Four Levels of Power here," Ash said to Lillie and Pikachu, who nodded in agreement.
Suddenly, everyone was moving on their own without any rhyme or reason.
"What's going on?" everyone said as they heard laughter from above. The group looked up and saw a wooden metal-like puppet, Digimon, who looked like he was controlling the group like a Marrienate.
"Humph, now that the main threat, as in that fire-breathing dragon, is put away, I'm sure gonna have fun with toying with you kids," the Digimon said aloud.
"That's the one who rules over the forest, Puppetmon," Chuumon said to the group who was looking at him and was thinking to themselves he doesn't look that menecing compared to the previous two Dark Masters they ran into.
"Oh, don't I scare you at all? At least that Rodent of a Digimon is scared of me," Puppetmon said as the other Digimon tried to get out of his grip, but could not. Puppetmon was showing why he was given his name. "Don't worry about escaping. You all will be dead soon enough. I just wanted to play with my new friends here," Puppetmon said, laughing before cutting the group down.
The group fell into another area of the Digital World and landed hard.
"Ugh, man, that hurt. Was that puppet a Dark Master because, compared to the others, he looks weaker than them," Ash told the group, who, after recovering from the landing, agreed at Ash's statement as they heard laughter, and they knew it wasn't Puppetmon.
"Welcome, Digidestined, to my show," A voice called out to the group as a Jester-looking Digimon with knives on his back as he looked more menacingly compared to the rest of them. "I hope you enjoyed our welcoming back to the Digital World Gift, as we were toying with you before we finish you off."
Chuumon shivers even more. "That's the one who killed Sukamon, the leader of the Dark Masters himself, the one who rules over Darkness himself, Piedmon," Chuumon says, as the group is surprised by this.
"I can tell that he's the leader even before Chuumon spoke up. You don't look like that and rule over something like Darkness if you aren't the big bad," Ash said to the group. Everyone gulped, trusting Ash's judgment.
Tai and Matt were about to have their partners digivolve to mega, but Ash put his hand out. "Ash, what are you-" Tai said, but Ash looked at Piedmon.
"We just got our Mega Levels; they might not measure up to him," Ash said, which caused Piedmon to laugh.
"You're friend is absolutely correct Your three Megas are newly Digivolved. How could they expect them to compete against an experienced - and, might I boast, superior - Digimon?"
Ash grinned, "True, you outrank our megas due to experience, but luckily, I have the perfect match to your power right here, and it's something I know you've never seen before, clown face. Greninja, I choose you." Ash's Kalos water type starter emerged ready for action.
Greninja looked to Ash and nodded. Ash and Greninja let out a yell, and a wall of water surrounded Greninja. Soon, Greninja had transformed into Ash-Greninja. The Digidestend and the Digimon were shocked at the transformation. Lillie was a little nervous about how the fight with Piedmon would go.
"I will say I'm impressed if I haven't heard about this before meeting you all, but let's see how far you go, young man," Piedmon said to Ash. Lillie's eyes widened. If he knows about Ash-Greninja Lillie thought, That means that Domino is nearby.
"Let's get this started, Greninja Aerial Ace," Ash commanded.
Just as Greninja was about to go right after Piedmon, a massive storm of petals showered down on Greninja, shocking him. Ash felt it, and Ash fell to his knees. The group was surprised by this. Lillie, Snowy, and Pikachu ran to Ash. The connection between Ash and his water starter vanished as Greninja returned to normal and fell over, recognized what those petals meant.
"I had a feeling that you were the one who told them about my connection with Greninja, Domino?" Ash said as Domino showed herself beside Piedmon, and Falcomon and the others recognized her.
"Terrific, of course, she shows up," Lillie muttered as she helped her fiancée stand.
"Of course, I told the Dark Masters of your special bond with Greninja, or have you forgotten what Annie and Oakley said about Team Rocket knowing about that transformation from the beginning? Be grateful. That was only enough to stop you and not outright kill you," Domino said, laughing at Ash's predicament Ash wasn't happy, but the damage he took while being one with Greninja was too hard for him to go Super Saiyan as Piedmon laughed.
"I must say, if you hadn't stepped in, I could have been destroyed, especially if he had used that transformation of his you mentioned in conjunction with that unique form of that Pokemon," Piedmon said, as he had to admit that Greninja looked strong. As my savior, you are now added to my ranks and second in command. You did help us out quite a bit after all," Piedmon said to Domino, who nodded.
"It'll be an honor. After all, you are just as ruthless as my bosses back in my dimension and much more ruthless than Myotismon ever was," Domino said as Ash finally got to his feet.
"Now, then, Allow me to introduce my fellow actors in your pathetic attempt at saving the world, foolish Digidestend," Piedmon said with a laugh. "MetalSeadramon! MachineDramon! Puppetmon!" As each name was said, the name Dark Master appeared. Domino took her place next to Piedmon. "We would like to begin by asking for audience volunteers. Who wants to be the first to be destroyed? Oh, come now. Don't tell me you have stage fright," the evil clown said with a cruel laugh.
Mimi had enough of the cruel teasing. "I didn't even want to go to camp in the first place! I just wanted to go to the mall! Can't anybody else save this silly world besides me?" Sora and Lillie looked at the girl with sympathy. She really was a sweet girl with no love for violence at all.
"I want to be a normal kid and not have too many responsibilities! I mean, is that too much to ask? It's not fair!"
"The brat's incessant whining is getting on my nerves," Domino said. "I guess she's the first one to die." Domino fired a blast from her flower at Mimi, but Chuumon jumped in the way and was killed instantly.
Mimi fell to her knees crying, "Chuumon, NO!"
"Chuumon was a fool. So, now that he's out of the way, who would like to be the next one to make their grand exit," Piedmon asked.
All of the kids, their Digimon, Pikachu, and Snowy, glared at the Dark Masters and Domino, who powered up another attack on her rose and looked directly at Lillie, causing Ash to get it in front of her. "Pixi Bomb!" All of a sudden, a small projectile flew in front of the Dark Masters and Domino and exploded, blinding them.
Ash and Lillie blinked as a small Digimon was in front of them, all in a bubble.
"Hey, Piximon, Perfect timing," T.K said with a smile.
"Sorry I'm late, I missed your arrival. I was hoping to meet you when you arrived so we could chat about the situation," the small Digmon replied.
"Let me guess, one of the Dark Masters' minions attacked you so they could ambush us," Ash said with a scowl. Piximon nodded to confirm Ash's statement.
"Prodigious! You cleverly used a barrier to avoid detection," Izzy said.
"I sure did," Piximon said with a grin.
Tai was about to ask the famous Digimon trainer something, but unfortunately, the bubble was hit and destroyed.
"Nice try, furball, but I expected you to show up," Domino said with a laugh. I had heard all about you, the famous trainer of Digimon. "Domino then fired another blast from her rose, but this was destroyed by a disk of energy. Another bubble appeared around the kids, but this was much larger than Piximon's.
"You may have been prepared for a native of this world to assist, but I doubt you expected me," a voice said as he appeared in front of the 5 villains.
Ash's eyes widened in shock. "DAD."
"HUH? THAT"S YOUR DAD? the Digidestend all yelled in surprise.
"How'd he get here? I thought you needed a digivice," Lillie said.
"That would be my doing," said a voice. Everyone of the kids was stunned at the appearance of a tall, skinny cat and a blue-skinned man holding a staff in formal robes.
"Is one of you King Kai," Ash asked.
"No, we're not. We're actually higher in rank than King Kai," the cat said.
"Are you here to help with the Team Rocket situation," Sora asked.
"Indeed we are. I am Lord Beerus, The God of Destruction of Universe 7, and this is my attendant, Whis," the cat said. He turned into a standoff between Goku and the 4 Dark Masters and Domino.
"Goku, we do have a schedule to keep, Whis called.
"I understand, Whis," Goku said, glaring at the 4 Dark Masters and Domino. " I have some catching up to do with my son, so we'll need to save our fight til later. I'll See you all soon. Oh, and, uh, by the way," Goku's expression turned fierce. "You're gonna to atone for your crimes." Goku placed his hands close to the center of his face with the fingers spread toward his eyes and shouted, "SOLAR FLARE." A white light was fired out, and the Dark Masters and Domino screamed as they were blinded by it. Goku jumped back into the bubble Whis created, and with the snap of Beerus' fingers, Whis caused the bubble to fly away from the Colosseum and to a safer part of the Digital World.

Done and done. Sorry for the wait, as it's been a rough month in retail for both mine and my collab writer, even though I'm the one who wrote this chapter, and he wrapped it up.
