Minato stood in the middle of an open field, staring down over a thousand ninja. Kuma, Iwa, and Kiri were…terrified. They feared what Konoha—what he and Orochimaru—had done. Iwa was in ruins after the Kyuubi attacked Konoha, but they'd recovered.

Iwa was furious. Kumo was worried. Kiri was hungry. So, they were trying to do what they did to the Uzumaki. They formed a coalition.

The Fourth Great Shinobi War had started. Kumo had invaded from the Fire-Hot Water border, striking to the north. Iwa was currently invading Grass. Konoha had been forced to destroy the Kanabi and Tenchi bridges to slow Iwa's supply chains.

It wasn't going badly, but it was definitely not going as well as it should be. That's why he is here now.

Minato turned back towards Kakashi, picking up the kunai his student had thrown and handing it back to him. Minato gave his student a smile. "I'll take care of it now. Bee and Ay—they are here, correct."

Before Kakashi could respond, Minato was forced to dodge a fist. The Raikage had come. Good.

Minato teleported behind Ay, palm laying on the darker man's back. He teleported Ay back to the center of the Iwa-Kumo combined forces.

"Stand back, Kakashi." He ordered his student, raising his hand to the air. Kakashi instantly vanished.

He was proud of his student for learning the Flying Thunder God. It was a major asset to the village. It also made him happy to pass his knowledge on.

Ay tried to attack Minato again. Yet again, Minato teleported the Raikage to the man's army. Ay always got mad at things like this.

Red and blue particles of chakra began coalescing in his hand. The army seemed to realize it'd be best if they attacked now.

Kunai, fireballs, bolts of lightning—all passed through him as the Bijuudama charged. Then, the world went white. There was once an army.

There was no longer an army.

"Namikaze!" A voice boomed from the several mile wide crater. "Fight me, you coward."

Minato appeared behind the aforementioned voice. "I am facing you, Ay—you just picked the wrong fight." Minato tilted his head as a fist harmlessly passed through him. "Now, tell your brother to use his Perfect Form. Naruto-chan needs a birthday gift!"

Naruto was going to get the coolest gift of them all—a Bijuu! They were pretty useful, considering how much chakra they had.

"You will not—"

Minato sighed and met Ay's eyes. He went and dug through the man's skull. It was impressive what one could accomplish when they had the Sharingan and knowledge of all of the Yamanaka's Jutsu.

They didn't like sharing their clan's Jutsu…he didn't care much. He was going for the abolishment of clan-knowledge. They'd obey or Konoha would take it. Sharing knowledge accelerated growth. Clan's hoarding knowledge was foolish.

It was, however, still a slow effort.

"So that's where he is…" Minato mused, rifling through the Raikage's mind. He'd take all of the ninja's knowledge while he was at it. "And I'll be using your Lightning Cloak from now on, Ay-kun."

Not like the Kage could hear him. Minato patted the Raikage on the shoulder and teleported a certain Uchiha to them.

A spiky haired teen appeared next to them, a startled look on his face. When the boy caught sight of Minato's face, he immediately kneeled. "Hokage-sama."

Minato rolled his eyes in amusement. "You never need to kneel to me, Shisui-kun. Naruto-chan would be so heartbroken if I treated his big brother like that."

A smile played across the Uchiha's face. "I guess Itachi is rubbing off on me."

The blond snorted at that. Itachi-kun really was way too polite. It was adorable, really, but the boy didn't need to do it!

"Anyways, Shisui-kun…think you could use your eyes on our friend here?" Minato prodded the comatose Raikage forward.

Shisui nodded, Mangekyou spinning into motion. Blood dropped from the Uchiha's eyes and the Raikage was brainwashed.

Minato tilted his head curiously. "What orders did you give him?"

Shisui grinned. "Loyalty to Konoha, it's Kage, and it's people."

"Excellent!" Minato said with a small laugh, giving his hands a clap. "Anyways, I'll send ya back to the village now. I have to go deal with Bee-kun now." Minato narrowed his eyes at Shisui for a second. "And get Sasuke-chan ready. I have a gift for him."

Shisui gave a salute. "See ya, Uncle!" The Uchiha was sent back to the village.

Now to face Bee and Yugao. He vanished.

"Naruto-chan, Sasuke-chan—stop fighting and sit." Minato commanded the two seven year olds. They were trying their damndest to stab each other. Unfortunately, Naruto could teleport and Sasuke had a three tomoe Sharingan. Talented little tyke, they were.

He was also having another talented little tyke develop in his wife's belly, so that was exciting. Having kids seemed to be a trend as even Fugaku and Hisashi's wives were pregnant.

Both of the kids harrumphed and sat, looking away from one another with little pouts. Naruto whined. "I wanna go back to fighting! Why do we even gotta meet up here in your stupid office…"

Minato pulled out two scrolls. "I have gifts!"

"Gifts?" Sasuke asked curiously, staring at the scrolls. "Why am I here, then?"

He ruffled Sasuke's head, getting a pout from the kid. "Can't your Uncle spoil you?"

That quieted the kid. "Anyways, Sasuke, what do you think of cats?"

"Cats..?" Sasuke incredulously asked. "Did you really get me a—"

—cats are lame!" Naruto cut in, managing to cross his arms even more. "They're dumb and stupid. Dogs, toads, and monkeys are way better!"

"No they aren't, you idiot!" Sasuke shouted back, glaring daggers at the young blond. "Cats are—"

"—now, now, kids." Minato said with a laugh. "No fighting. What I was going to say is that I am giving you the best cat around, Sasuke."

"No fair!" Naruto whined. "Why does he get the best cat around?"

The Kage snorted. "I thought you didn't like cats, Naruto?"

"Wel—well…" Naruto awkwardly shuffled around. "They aren't…that bad…"

Minato ruffled his son's head. "Well, you're getting a really cool squid thing. Trust me, you'll like your gifts."

Only a minute later, he sealed the Two Tails into Sasuke and the Eight Tails into Naruto. Now, he only had to hand out six more Bijuu…

…fun.

Minato groaned as he finally got to his lab. Orochimaru had, apparently, made several important discoveries.

Passing out Bijuu was tiring. He gave the Hyuga the Six Tails in return for getting rid of the Caged Bird Seal and getting permission to give people the Byakugan through artificial development. It was given to Neji Hyuga, a skilled kid who would use it well.

The Aburame clan got the Seven Tails. It was given to the clan's heir, Shino. The Sarutobi clan was given the Four Tails. The Third's grandson was given it. The Five Tails was given to the Akimichi clan. Their heir, Choji, got it. The One Tails was given to the Nara heir, Shikamaru. The Three Tails was given to the Yamanaka Heiress.

It was a hassle. Worth it, though. Shisui was complaining about having to use his Mangekyou so much, but he'd live. They were making good research on how to forcibly evolve it into its Eternal state, so he'd be fine eventually.

"Fufufu, tired, Minato-kun?" Orochimaru asked in amusement, looking up from where he was hands deep in somebody's chest.

He groaned. "Too much work that I can't delegate clones to."

"Everyday I talk to you, the more glad I am that I never became Hokage." Orochimaru laughed, weaving black threads into the body he was working with.

Minato sighed "Glad you love my misery so much. Regardless, what are those threads?"

The Snake Sage had a smirk stretching his face. "Ever heard of the Jiongu?"

His eyes widened. "You caught Kakazu?"

Orochimaru cackled. "Not just Kakazu. I paid my old friend Hiruko a visit. His techniques have proven…incredibly useful."

Minato tilted his head. "Oh? How so?"

The Snake pulled his hands out of the body, black cords stitching it back to health. He pushed his hands together and wood burst out of the ground. Minato couldn't help but gasp.

"You figured out how to give kekkei genkai to living targets?" He spoke in amazement, staring at the receding wood.

"Me? Oh, while I'd just love to take all the credit, it was Hiruko who figured it out…I've simply appropriated the work." Orochimaru said gleefully, eyes spinning with his Mangekyou. They had a different pattern than before.

Minato met the Snake's eyes. "Pass the knowledge over."

"Gladly." Orochimaru used his Mangekyou's power. See, Orochimaru had an interesting ability. It wasn't even remotely combat related. What he could do, however, is pull data from anything for any type of category he knows of. He can do this for memories, measurements, statistics—anything that is quantifiable.

He could then also pass on this knowledge to anyone else. Ergo, he can teach anything he knows with just a glance.

Was this going to be abused to teach the future generation? Probably.

The knowledge slithered into Minato's brain and he suddenly just knew how to use the Jiongu and the Chimera Jutsu. They were…phenomenal Jutsu. Ideas ran through his head at a million miles an hour.

Raising a hand to his eyes, he incorporated Obito's Sharingan into himself, modifying his own DNA to accompany it. Immediately, it was like a connection formed between his chakra network and his left eye. Sharingan appeared in both of his eyes.

"Amazing…" Minato couldn't help but breathe out, staring at the world through the full power of the Sharingan. "But how did you acquire the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan?"

"Simple." Orochimaru said, walking over to a row of glass jars. He tossed one of the jars towards Minato. Minato instinctively caught it. "Attune these eyes to your DNA and then swap them out."

Minato did just that. Then, he used the Chimera technique to merge the two sets of Mangekyou. "I see…" Minato said in interest. "The Uchiha will be happy with this."

"I imagine so." Orochimaru agreed, moving back towards his subject. "But, for now, assist me in figuring out how to get the Jiongu to work without the heart. You can talk to the Uchiha later."

Minato pulled on a pair of gloves, ready to get his hands dirty.

Minato held his newborn daughter in his hand, cradling the girl to his chest.

Currently, he and his wife are in the Kamui dimension. He was taking no chances this time for people to meddle about. He went the extra mile and did the delivery himself. Nothing was allowed to go wrong.

He silently handed the babe over to his wife, her tired face looking as beautiful as ever. She laid on a bed of the finest materials, the best medical equipment keeping her healthy.

"Mito." Kushina decided on. "We'll call her Mito." She gave him a look that left no room to fight it. Not like he would—he knew he was whipped.

"Mito it is, Honey." Minato gave a smile and a nod, looking at his red haired daughter with love. "Naruto-chan is going to love her."

"He already does, ya' know!" His wife weakly exclaimed, her usual energy gone.

Minato snorted. "With how often he'd listen in on your belly? Definitely."

Kushina gave him a playful glare. "Then why haven't ya brought him here, ya' know."

"Aye-aye, Kushina." Minato gave a salute and teleported his son into the Kamui dimension.

"Eh! Where am I—" Naruto quit from his confusion immediately, looking at the baby in his mother's hands with wide eyes. "Is—is that her?"

"This is your sister, Mito!" Kushina cheered, presenting the baby like she was a trophy. "Wanna hold her?"

"H—hold her?! But…what if I drop her?" Naruto worriedly said, shuffling side to side. His usual bravado was gone. "I don't wanna hurt her."

Minato ruffled his son's hair. "You could never hurt her, Naruto-chan. Go on, say hi to your sister."

Naruto nodded slowly. He awkwardly waddled over to where his mother laid and put his hands out. Kushina giggled and gently placed Mito in Naruto's hands.

"She's…so tiny." Naruto breathed out, holding his sister like she was the most precious thing in the world. He kept his arms extended like he was terrified even a sudden movement would send her flying.

"That's how babies work, ya' know!" Kushina tiredly teased, eyes full of love. It was stunning how pretty his wife was. Minato couldn't help the tiny laugh he let out.

He was so, so happy.

"Heya, Fugaku." Minato cheerfully greeted, popping into the Uchiha head's home.

A kunai whizzed through the blond. Fugaku had his Mangekyou spinning violently. Once the man processed who had appeared in his home, his Sharingan faded black. "Damnit, Minato—stop doing that."

Minato hummed in consideration. "Well…nah. Anyways, I come bearing gifts!"

Fugaku eyed him skeptically, crossing his arms as he shot Minato a glare. "Do I want to know what you've brough—"

Appearing behind his friend, Minato poked the Uchiha leader in the back. Using the Chimera technique, he integrated a second pair of Mangekyou into Fugaku's eyes.

The black haired man gagged, hunching over. "What in the hell did you do!?"

"Use your eyes, turn them into the Mangekyou." He ordered the Uchiha. Fugaku gave him a careful look and then slowly obeyed.

The Uchiha's eyes widened, a new pattern filling his Mangekyou. "I can see better. You figured out how to turn the Mangekyou into its Eternal state?"

"Hmm…" Minato thought about stealing credit. "Orochimaru figured it out. Itachi-chan and Shisui-kun can get theirs evolved later.

Fugaku looked at Minato like he was both insane and the focus of the man's religion.

"Anyways, I hope little Biwako-chan is doing well!" Minato gave a wave and vanished. Fugaku and Mikoto's daughter really was adorable.

"Kakashi-kun!" Minato cheered happily, lunging back at his desk. "Just the man I wanted to see."

Kakashi looked up from his book, giving his teacher a lazy smile. "Maa, Sensei. Wanting to see little old me? I'm warmed."

Minato tossed a scroll at Kakashi. "Read that."

The silver-haired ninja picked up the scroll and did as ordered. His face went from amused to annoyed. "Minato-Sensei…I think I left my stove on at home and—"

He scoffed. "You literally live at my house, Kakashi. And you are taking a team."

"But Sensei—"

"It's Itachi-chan and Shisui-kun! You won't even be their Sensei, only their squad leader. Come on, Kakashi."

Kakashi groaned, putting his erotica away. "And you want me to teach them."

Minato smiled. "Well, if it occurs..?" He shrugged. "Happy coincidence."

Kakashi gave him the most pained expression possible. It almost matched the expression Kakashi had when they talked about bringing back Kakashi's dad and the rest of Team Minato.

They had decided it was best to leave the dead dead. Dan and Nawaki were the only two people that were brought back—besides the ones Minato and Orochimaru revived to make sure the Jutsu worked.

Anyone new who died, however, would likely be brought back.

Speaking of Dan—the man didn't like being brought back. He gave Tsunade some nice words and then went back to the ever after.

"Anyways, Kakashi-chan…read the rest of the scroll."

Kakashi did so. Once he got to the end, he raised an eyebrow. "Kekkei genkai?"

Minato nodded. "Mhm. From now on, anyone who reaches Jonin gets to pick a kekkei genkai to get. After that, they can earn more based on commendations from important figures."

This didn't, however, include Wood Style, the Sharingan, or the Byakugan. Those three could be earned, but they were earned based on Minato's own assessment. He and Orochimaru were going to try and make new Doujutsu, anyways. They'd gotten some DNA samples from Ketsuryūgan users, the priestess of the Land of Demons, and from this one five year old kid, Ranmaru.

"So, what's your pick, Kakashi?"

Kakashi eyed him carefully. "...can I get more chakra?" Then he blinked a few times. "Actually, fufufu, could I get the Byakugan?"

"...I shouldn't have let you meet Jiraiya…" He gave his student an incredibly sad look. "You have fallen to his perversions…" Minato gave a shrug. "Anyways, sure."

Kakashi gave a wide eyed look when Minato appeared beside him. Minato placed a hand on his student's shoulder and integrated Obito's eye into the pervert. Then, he put Uzumaki, Senju, and Hyuga DNA into Kakashi, forcibly activating the Byakugan at the same time and forcing it to merge with the Sharingan.

The Copy Nin let out a wheeze. "...never do that again, Sensei."

Minato just smiled, patting his student on the shoulder.

"Yes!" Orochimaru cheered to himself, hands deep in a cut open body that was crawling with black cords.

Minato hummed. "I doubt it'll last longer than an hour."

Orochimaru turned his head back, an annoyed look on his face. "We isolated the production of chakra. It'll last."

"Maybe we did." Minato agreed, nodding his head up and down. "But, how do we know the chakra will recognize the Jiongu as its body without the heart to act as a guide?"

Orochimaru seemed to deflate. "I remember why I hate you now, Namikaze."

Minato placed a hand on his heart. "Ouch. That hurts, Orochi. Right here."

Orochimaru gave an exasperated look. "You are as bad as Jiraiya. And, you will see I am right momentarily."

Orochimaru was, in fact, proved wrong.

"Sensei." Minato dipped his head, looking at his teacher. His black and blue teacher. "Took you long enough to show up."

Jiraiya huffed, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up brat. The ladies at the hot springs are just playing hard to get."

"Uh huh…" Minato slowly nodded. " Suuure. Anyways, ignoring your blatant breaking of Konoha law, you were called for an actual important reason."

Jiraiya immediately became serious. "What happened?"

"No, nothing like that. I was just going to tell you that you're being taken off of Spy Master duty."

"...what?" Jiraiya looked at him as if he had rained all over his parade. It was no hidden secret that Jiraiya really used his job to get…research.

"Yup. I want you in the village from now on." Minato confirmed, ignoring his teacher's pained expression. "You and Kushina-chan are going to be teaching civilians how to do seals."

"...what?" Jiraiya repeated again, giving Minato an odd look. "Civvies can't make seals."

Minato shook his head. "No, they can make seals. What they can't do is use them. They need a shinobi to power it. If we get civilians to study seals and let them power it with…say…chakra stored in a seal, we can increase seal research ten-fold."

"...but…but my research…" Jiraiya bemoaned, an agonized look on his face.

"You'll get over it." Minato gave him a bright smile.

Minato activated the seal on the patient's cot. Green chakra fluttered into existence within the hospital room.

"Ya really think this'll work, brat?" Tsunade said, an interested look on her face as she watched the lights.

"I do think so, Tsunade-san. I've worked on it with Orochimaru and had my wife help me with the seal work. In theory, it should build a design of what the patient should be like and then try to heal them into that state. In practice with Orochimaru, it worked."

Tsunade snorted. "And how many of those patients were sick as opposed to missing a limb or two?"

Minato gave an awkward smile. "Maybe one or two..?" He shook his head rapidly. "But! But, it should also kill bacteria and viruses that are harmful to the body. In theory."

The Slug Sannin gave a doubtful hum.

Minato's seal soon proved her wrong.

"Well, then…guess you're out of a job, Tsunade-san?"

She walked over to a cabinet and opened it. She took a swig of sake.

Minato thought she just wanted an excuse to drink.

"The Eight Gates." Minato nodded to himself. "That's the problem."

They'd been at this for months. They had yet to figure out how to get the body to stop dying when the heart was removed from the Jiongu-infected subject.

Orochimaru gave him a curious look. "The Eight Gates?"

"Mhm. Considering the heart is the site of the Gate of Death, it is very possible that removing the heart fully removes all of the Eight Gates, making the chakra think that the body is no longer its body."

The Snake Sage hummed. "I see what you mean, fufufu. The Jiongu must push all of the Eight Gates into the heart…"

Minato nodded again. "Yup. So we need to bind the chakra network onto the Jiongu itself, not just the production of the chakra. With no network, it rejects the body."

They got back to work.

Konoha was having a population surge. A massive one. See, they'd figured out a way to produce food for far cheaper and way faster using seals and Wood Style. It almost completely removes the human element from farming and could be done in vertical towers or underground complexes opposed to massive fields.

That meant almost eighty percent of the world was out of a job. In the Land of Fire, the biggest job was farming. As farming was now incredibly fast and efficient in Konoha for all products besides meat, it meant that people weren't earning much.

So, they did the logical thing. They moved towards the biggest city that had the most job demand and the capacity to store them. That was Konoha.

Minato had been forced to create a construction force that had Wood Style. Seals would provide them the chakra for the structures they were making. Konoha was growing rapidly—and not just horizontally.

They'd begun to utilize Magnet Style to create steel buildings that crept vertically. It allowed more people to live in less space. Very helpful. Also, considering the new buildings were almost always partly made from Wood Style, seals on them could just pull on the nature energy that Wood Style collects. It made reinforcing buildings much easier and allowed for ease of plumbing, heating, etc.

Unfortunately, it meant he had a lot of paperwork. A lot of it. Almost a million new people had to be documented, housed, given jobs, educated, and so, so much more. And it. Was. Only. Growing.

He'd have to look into the technologies that the Land of Rain and the Land of Snow were producing. They had begun making some interesting machines.

Minato had taken a peak at those interesting machines. They were beyond him. While he was smart, he had zero capabilities to do the math that was required for the engineering needed to make engines, motors, trains, etc.

It's why he is now with his wife and Jiraiya. See, he has an idea. "Kushina, what do you think of actually making the Uzumaki's hypothetical knowledge seal?"

The knowledge seal he was speaking of was an idea made by the Uzumaki clan. Basically, it'd be a massive seal complex that would connect all Uzumaki to each other, allowing their knowledge to transfer instantly.

In essence, it meant instant learning of anything an Uzumaki had learned. Thing is, they never made it. Binding seals to DNA isn't easy.

"Oh?" Kushina asked curiously, giving him an intrigued glance. "It'd be interesting to try. But it failed for a reason, ya' know."

Minato nodded. "I do know why it failed. That's why we shouldn't make it bound to people but to a location. Imagine a library that people could put knowledge into and get knowledge from."

Kushina ahhed in understanding. "That'd be a bit easier, ya' know! But, how would you even begin to seal knowledge as pure knowledge? Memory seals section off parts of the brain, they don't contain memories."

"—wait, wait, wait!" Jiraiya cut in, having been watching them like a sports spectator. "What's an Uzumaki Knowledge Seal?"

"Just imagine a seal that people can put knowledge into and then anyone can instantly learn anything within that seal." Minato clarified for his poor teacher.

Jiraiya gave his head a tilt. "Is that even possible? Sealing and duplicating memories, I mean. "

Minato shrugged. "No clue. But, memories are only an arrangement of neurons in the brain—"

"—you could use seals to replicate the patterns of the brain's neurons!" Kushina cut in with her ever cheerful voice. "But that'd be terribly complex, ya' know. Do you even know the brain's code, Minato-chan?"

"...not yet?"

"What about chakra memory, brat?"

"Ooh." Minato gave a pleased hum. "That's right, chakra does retain traits of its owner after being released. If we can control how the memories get put into the chakra, we could seal that instead and then imprint the memories onto the chakra network of the person trying to learn." Minato gave his teacher a grin. "Nice catch, Sensei!"

"Ya, you old pervert!" Kushina clapped Jiraiya on the back. "Finally being useful for once!"

Jiraiya pouted.

The body dissolved. They'd been at this for months. It was demotivating that even binding the chakra network to the Jiongu wasn't enough.

It made it clear, however, that the issue was not chakra rejection…

"Nature is rejecting it." Orochimaru concluded for them. "It is due to the nature imbalance of Jiongu."

"Too much negative chakra and lacking in a nature affinity." Minato agreed. "We'd need to rebalance it."

"Indeed." Orochimaru stared down at the dusty remains of their failed experiment. "Wood Style, then. It is the most geared towards nature."

Minato shook his head. "It'd still be too negative and would have too strong of a yang affinity due to Wood Style."

"Hmm…" Orochimaru hummed, black threads climbing out of his hands as he stared at them curiously. "Then we add fire chakra to the mix. Fire's positive nature and yin disposition will rebalance it when combined with Wood Style."

"Interesting." Minato produced his own black threads, pushing Wood Style chakra into it, making the threads gain a brown hue. He then added fire chakra to the mix, making the threads turn an odd reddish-brown color. "But now it is too geared towards nature. It should pull nature chakra in if I take it out of my control."

They began to put their brains together. They just needed to test every combination. Fun.

Minato placed his hand on the walls of the new Konoha Library. The main thing that differentiated this one from the old one was the fact that the new one had thousands, if not millions, of seals beneath it. Figuring out how to seal and duplicate knowledge was hard but not that hard. Throw enough clones and enough brains at something and it'll fall eventually…even if it took over a year.

The Konoha Library divides knowledge into categories. Some categories are public and some are restricted. The knowledge for most of these categories hadn't been actually added yet because they needed to get only accurate information into the system.

The system had the ability to update knowledge, but it'd be better to start it off strong. It's why the very first thing he added was knowledge on how to read, write, and do basic math. It was hard to mess those things up.

Oh well. Only a few more weeks of searching for the best of the best in every field possible; then, he'd be able to let the public see their work.

For now, though, he was putting all of his sealing knowledge into the system. It'd help develop the art even more, so who was he to not share?

He did so by pumping his chakra into the seal and focusing on the general concept of seals. The Library would do the rest.

In only a few moments, the entirety of his sealing knowledge became attainable to the entire population of Konoha.

Golden threads sprung out of a cut in Orochimaru's hands. They'd finished testing after several more months. Nailing the nature affinity wasn't too hard.

They went with Wood Style mixed with fire and wind. Fire neutralized wind. Water neutralized fire. Earth was left alone. As wind innately rejects nature energy, it naturalized earth's natural property to pull in nature energy. Wind is also innately neutral, not positive or negative, meaning it wouldn't mess up the balance.

They'd also been the ones to discover that about wind. Negative and positive chakra wasn't highly researched. Yin and Yang were much more common fields of study.

"Everything working properly?" Minato curiously wondered, chakra lighting up his hand as he monitored Orchimaru's vitals. They had done this on subjects several times. They were moving onto doing it to themselves.

"Kukuku!" Orochimaru delightedly giggled. "It works. My chakra system functions. My nature is not imbalanced. No heart, no organs—nothing! Nothing!" The Snake seemed giddy. "Immortality. I—no, we've done it."

Minato was glad he was included in that. "And your skin regenerates fine?"

Orochimaru held up his hand, golden threads bursting out of his hand. The threads receded and the cut healed perfectly.

"Amazing…"

They truly had made man immortal.

The Namikaze-Orochimaru Style Golden Immortality Jutsu of the Ages was a hit. All top, loyal ninjas were taught it. Minato had picked the name, obviously. He was great at naming things.

Orochimaru got to name the resurrection technique, he got to name the immortality technique. It was only fair.

Today, though, was not about that. Today, Naruto was going to become a ninja! He'd made him and Sasuke wait till they graduated at the normal age. They had no need to live too fast. Actually, he had banned early graduation in general. Wars were kinda not a thing considering Kumo, Kiri, Iwa, and Suna were Konoha puppets now.

He walked through the village, his wife holding his hand while she carried their daughter. Little Mito was five now! She was huge!

The village was in very good shape. Paved roads, buildings that crept to the sky, seals keeping the weather always perfect—it was the city. A perfect mix of the future and the past.

The borders of Konoha had long since been forced to expand to house all the people moving in. People flocked to opportunity—Konoha had a lot of it.

When years worth of education could be done in days, it made Konoha a rapidly growing society. Trains ran beneath the city, electricity powered houses while seals connected to wood from Wood Style turned nature energy into usable power—it was the city of the future.

He couldn't wait to help his people grow even more. It'd be the perfect gift to hand off to Naruto.
