Chapter 6: A new beginning to a new end

It was a nice smurfy day in Smurf Village. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and everyone was enjoying themselves. And for once for a chapter that begins this way, no one was sick.

"OUCH," yelled Hector, who was in his bed with a broken leg. I didn't say anything about anyone being injured, did I?

"Easy kiddo, you don't want that leg of yours to hurt more than you need," said Clumsy, as he sat down next to his son. "How did you even break it in the first place?"

"I accidentally dropped one of Hefty's dumbbells onto my leg," admitted Hector, sheepishly. "Man, pain is a real jerk."

Suddenly, Clumsy got an idea. "I know, how about I tell you some stories about when I was a smurfling," said Clumsy, to which Hector happily agreed. "Good thing I still have my old photo album."

Clumsy then took a book full of old photos. The photos went from the moment that Clumsy and SmurfStorm met, all the way to recent family memories. "What story do you want to hear about?" asked Clumsy.

"How about the day you and mom met," said Hector.

"I've already told you that story a million times," said Clumsy. "But since you asked nicely, I guess I can tell you the story again." He then looked at a photo of him and SmurfStorm as smurflings, as he began to tell the story.

Many years ago, when Clumsy was a smurfing of a hundred years old, he was in his mushroom fixing up the place. Just then, Papa Smurf knocked on the front door, to which Clumsy answered.

"Hi, Papa Smurf," said Clumsy. "What brings you here?"

"Well, Clumsy, I need you to get some smurfroot to make some smurfroot mud packs," Papa Smurf said.

"Let me guess, someone got smacked in the face," said Clumsy, to which Papa Smurf responded with a nod. "Okay, I'll go get the smurfroot and be back in time for dinner." He then grabbed his magic sack, and made his way to the enchanted forest.

Meanwhile in Smurfy Grove, SmurfStorm was doing tricks in the air on her dragonfly, Spitfire. "Okay, Spitfire, Willow gave us permission to explore the entire forest, so let's see how far we can go," said SmurfStorm. She then flew Spitfire near the forest wall, where the wind was blowing very fast. "Whoa, easy Spitfire!"

Back with Clumsy, he was busy picking the smurfroot needed for the mud packs, when he saw something in the sky. It was SmurfStorm, as she was falling to the ground. "Holy Smurf! That Smurf is falling! Don't worry, I'll save you!" said Clumsy, as he raced to the falling Smurf's rescue.

Before he could catch her, SmurfStorm hit her head on the tree branch next to her, followed by Clumsy flawlessly catching her like a bride. "It's okay, I gotâ you," said Clumsy, who realized that the Smurf he rescued was a girl, and a beautiful one at that.

Suddenly, the girl Smurf woke up with a mild concussion. "Where am I? And who are you?" asked SmurfStorm.

"Well, you're in the enchanted forest, and my name is Clumsy," said Clumsy. "Who are you?"

"Umm, I'm SmurfStorm. Nice to meet you, Clumsy," said SmurfStorm, who was blushing bright red. "Um, could you put me down now."

"Oh uh, sure," said Clumsy, as he gently placed SmurfStorm back on the ground. "Where are you from?"

"I'm from the forest on the other side of this wall," said SmurfStorm, pointing to the forbidden forest, causing Clumsy to gasp. "What's wrong?"

"It's just that you're from the forbidden forest, Papa Smurf said that no Smurf is ever allowed to go in there," said Clumsy. He then remembered why he was in the forest. "Holy Smurf! I've gotta get this smurfroot to my village." Before he left, SmurfStorm stopped him.

"Wait, will I ever see you again?" asked SmurfStorm.

"Oh, I know. Let's meet up again at this very spot every second Wednesday of the month," said Clumsy. He then kissed SmurfStorm on the cheek, and ran back to his village.

"And we met there every month for years to come," said Clumsy, finishing the story.

"I still can't believe that you kissed her on the first date," said Hector.

"I didn't know what to do, I never saw a girl Smurf before until that moment," said Clumsy. "Besides, I think I made a good first impression."

"I'll say. If you hadn't rescued me, we'd probably never have fallen in love," said SmurfStorm, as she entered her son's room. "How are you feeling kiddo?"

"A little bit better," said Hector.

"Well, at least you feel good," said SmurfStorm. She said then looked at the photo album. "Let me guess, you're telling him the story of how we met again, aren't you?"

"I don't see you trying to cheer him up," teased Clumsy. He then faced his son. "How'd you like the story?"

"I wanna hear more," said Hector. His parents then began to talk about their memories of the past. They started from Clumsy meeting the other girl Smurf, all the way to Hector's birth. "I think I'm going to like this village."

As Hector was walking through the forest (now that his leg is better), he noticed that something was off. Suddenly he heard a loud sound.

"What the Smurf?" said Hector, as he managed to locate the source of the sound. The sound came fromâ a mechanical wagon that was made of stainless steel. "Woah, cool."

Just then, the mechanical wagon started to fly in the air, and disappeared into the sky, leaving behind fire tracks that soon disappeared into thin air.

That's right, my next story is a crossover withâ Back to the future. I didn't see any crossovers with this series so I decided to make my own. Until we meet again my friends.
