"Got it, I'll go first!" One of the twins stepped onto the broom first, stomped his feet towards the ground, and flew off the ground before starting to fly in circles around the Quidditch pitch.

"Not bad, barely passable."

Charlie's gave a simple assessment as he watched his younger brother fly around the poles. In fact, it was easy to tell from the smile that spread across his face that he should be quite satisfied.

After all, not every new student could fly this steadily.

After the twins had both tried flying a lap, it was finally Albert and Lee Jordan's turn.

Since both of them had never officially touched a broomstick, Charlie had to instruct them on how to use it himself. He was showing the two how to ride the broom without sliding off.

"We didn't get this kind of treatment." The twins playfully chimed in, "Say, are we really his younger brothers?"

"Shut up and cut the crap." Charlie's glared at the twins and began to correct Lee Jordan's hand grip.

"All you need to do is stomp your legs to get off the ground, and you'll get a feel for how to control the force when you try it out for yourself later." Charlie's was like a professor, teaching them about broom riding very carefully, "Hold the broom firmly, lift your body slightly upwards and the broom will rise. Similarly, if you lean down slightly, the broom will fall back to the ground vertically, and if you lean forward, the broom will move forward."

After spending about five minutes explaining the dos and don'ts, Charlie's allowed Lee Jordan to begin his test flight, while he himself drew his wand and stood ready to catch the new student should he fall off the broom.

Lee Jordan flew fairly smoothly.

However, he flew around the Quidditch pitch very slowly and it took him about five minutes to finish his flying, landing back on the ground with a face full of unconcealed excitement.

He had been able to fly so well thanks to having ridden a toy broom before.

"Nice flying." Charlie's perfunctorily said words of encouragement and handed the Broomstick to Albert next to him.

Albert reached out and ran his hand over the broom handle.

Well, it was smooth and not padded.

He remembered that the Broomstick had been enchanted with a magic called the Cushioning Charm, or Shock Absorption Charm.

However, he didn't feel any magic on it, and Albert wondered if he would getting sitting problems on it.

TL/N:I don't know if there is a proper name for it, but the way I understood it, it's basically referring to the health issues (often urological in nature) that you can get from an improper bike seat for example.

It didn't help that there was an obvious seat on the toy broom.

"What are you doing?" Charlie's looked quizzically at Albert's gentle stroking of the broom handle, unable to understand what the other boy was doing.

"Nothing, I was just trying to find out where the cushion was?" Without waiting for Charlie's to figure out the meaning of this statement, Albert had already stepped onto the broom and flew off the ground with both feet stomping hard.

Sure enough, the Shock Absorption Charm was there.

Sitting on the Broomstick didn't hurt him, there was a very soft layer on it separating Albert from the handle of the broom, and it felt as if he was sitting on a soft cushion.

Well, if he were to describe it, it's a bit similar to the feeling of sitting on a bicycle.

The broom flew up, and the air immediately fluttered his robe behind him. Albert felt like he had never been in such a pleasant mood, even forgetting the absurdity of his current position. He did as Charlie's had taught him, slowly pulling the head of his broom up to fly a little higher.

Albert swept down and was about ten feet off the ground.

It was a good thing he wasn't afraid of heights, or he might have let go and fallen out of the air.

Albert grabbed the handle of his broom with one hand and leaned his body forward slowly, and the broom began to move forward, just like the first time he'd ridden a toy broom, but Albert flew slowly, slower than Lee Jordan, but he began to fly around the Quidditch stadium anyway, enjoying the flight.

Charlie's below was surprised, he also didn't think Albert actually adapted to flying right away, some newcomers who hadn't been exposed to the Flying Broomsticks would become panicked when they first flew.

He was a newcomer who just had been exposed to a flying broomstick for the first time, and it only took a few minutes for him to be able to have this level of flying, which was already considered very good.

But Albert no longer wanted to slowly turtle crawl through the air after adapting to his current flying speed. He opened his skill list and raised his flying skill (broom) to level 1.

Suddenly Albert leaned his body forward and as if he had flicked an acceleration switch the broom's speed instantly increased by a lot.

His originally slugish movements became responsive as he rode the broom around between the pillars of the ball, the oncoming wind causing him to squint his eyes.

Faster!

His body instinctively leaned forward at this thought and picked up speed a little more, the sight ahead of him was rapidly receding and Albert felt as if his heart might leap out of his chest at any moment.

Flying felt so good!

At this moment, Albert finally understood a little bit why Wizards liked this kind of game.

Exciting!

That's right, it was too exciting.

Just like why people liked racing cars.

Albert rode his broom around the Quidditch pitch several times, flying faster and faster, almost reaching the maximum speed of the Cleansweep Seven.

The four below opened their mouths in surprise and were on the verge of staring.

"You flew so well!"

A few minutes later, Charlie's stuttered a little as he looked at Albert who landed on the ground. He felt incredible that he had actually witnessed the growth of this First Year student, from slow to fast, gradually adapting.

In such a short time.

This kind of talent was just amazing!

Albert had adapted to how to use the broom and the high speed flying in just a few minutes.

Standing next to the twins, Lee Jordan looked at Albert with a complicated expression, originally he thought he was flying well, but he didn't expect that there was actually an even more demonic guy.

Could it be that he really was a genius?

Of course, if he knew that Albert had upgraded his flying skill (broom) to level 1 in order to enjoy the speed, he wouldn't think so.

"Sorry, couldn't hold back for a moment." Albert apologised to Charlie immediately after getting off his broom.

It felt good to zoom around on a broom.

"You're very talented at this." Charlie's patted Albert's shoulder hard and said, "You're all very talented, you can consider being the team's reserve players, and you can participate in training together if you're free at that time."

Charlie's was pleased with today's haul, both Fred and George and their two friends were very talented at flying.

The twins grinned with glee on their faces.

"We don't have our own brooms." Albert reminded.

"That's okay, we can borrow brooms from the school." Charlie's reassured, "You can learn some tricks to find your bearings first."

"However, there is one thing I need to state up front." Charlie's cleared his throat, "If you guys want to become real Quidditch players, you still need to rely on your own abilities to get through next year's player selection, and I'm not going to relax in that regard."

"We understand." Fred said with a wink.

"Well, it's good you understand." Charlie's was satisfied with this, and he was going to train a few people and use them as the team's secret weapon.
