At dinner, Charlie's sat down next to Albert and told him some rules about Quidditch matches as he ate, and suggested that Albert go through 'Quidditch Through the Ages' sometime.

"How long was the longest game at Hogwarts?" Albert inquired curiously, if a Quidditch match was not over until the Golden Snitch was caught, what about when the Golden Snitch was lost?

"Supposedly three days." Charlie's said thoughtfully, "In the end, when the Golden Snitch couldn't be found, the match ended early, with the side with the most points winning the match."

As several people idly chatted about Quidditch, a sudden voice gave an interruption to their conversation.

"Albert, Professor McGonagall asked me to give this to you." Angelina handed Albert a folded piece of parchment.

"Thanks, Angelina." Albert took the parchment and opened it and read:

Thursday, 7:00 p.m., sixth floor, Classroom 21, Remember Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration.

"What's this?" Fred, who was eating a scalloped potato, dropped his fork and brought his head around.

"A notice from Professor McGonagall, the time and place of the next Transfiguration Club." Albert didn't intend to hide it and directly handed Fred the parchment.

The twins and Lee Jordan immediately grabbed the parchment to see what was inside.

"The Transfiguration Club, what's that?" Charlie's suddenly stopped talking and looked at Albert suspiciously.

"A club formed by Professor McGonagall." Albert explained.

"What does it mean to keep in mind Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration?" George asked a little puzzled.

"Most likely the password to enter the classroom." Albert thought about giving his guess.

"Sorry Charlie's, I'm afraid I'm going to have to put the Transfiguration Club first if Quidditch practice and Transfiguration Club activities clash."

"Oh, I almost forgot, it's in the afternoon, I think." Lee Jordan remembered this as well. The twins next to them looked at each other even more in disbelief, they were equally aware of it.

All four could see that Charlie was trying to develop Albert as a Chaser or Seeker, but now it was over before it even started.

Unbeknownst to several people, Albert had no intention of joining the Quidditch team. To him, flying on a Broomstick was a treat, and Quidditch matches might be fun, but Albert had no desire for rigorous Quidditch training, much less any intention of becoming a Quidditch player.

As for, graduating to some Quidditch team or something, just forget it!

Charlie froze, where was his promised secret weapon?

How could it have slipped away without a word before it even warmed up in his hands? Charlie decided to go ahead and figure out what was going on.

"Charlie was hell bent on winning another Quidditch trophy for Gryffindor before he left." Fred said as he looked at Charlie's departing back and shook his head in disbelief.

Finishing their meal, the four of them returned to the Gryffindor common room, which was filled with people and so loud it made Albert feel like his head was going to explode.

It was probably because school had just started and the lion cubs of Gryffindor hadn't slowed down from the summer holidays, so give them a few more days of noise and they wouldn't have the energy to frolic around here after piling up a lot of homework.

"Let's go to the Great Hall!" Albert thought about it and opted to take a book to the Great Hall, to use the time to practice some magic or something.

The Great Hall was much less crowded and Albert found himself a quiet place.

Shanna, who was sitting at the entrance to the Great Hall, noticed Albert and started practising the illumination charm next to him.

After seeing her try several times, never succeeding in using the illumination charm, Albert reminded her, "You should be confident in yourself, as well as concentrating, and visualising your wand glowing as you cast the spell."

Shanna blushed slightly, when she still didn't succeed.

"You're not in the right frame of mind, it'll affect your success rate in casting the spell, if you keep thinking you can't, your likelihood of failure will be at least three times higher." Albert pointed to the small box next to him, "Want one, don't worry, it's a chocolate bean."

"How did you know?" Shanna couldn't help but ask as she ate a few of the chocolate beans, "I mean how do you know that these help to successfully cast spells?"

"Would you believe me if I said I guessed?" Albert chuckled.

"I wouldn't."

"Eh, it's actually a conclusion drawn from too many failed attempts at Transfiguration." Albert wasn't exactly lying, it could be said that his words were half true, "A wizards' emotions affect their spell casting."

"I'll try again." Shanna's felt some relieve from the chocolate beans in her mouth. She took a deep breath and after a few more attempts, she finally managed to light her wand, and an excited smile appeared on her, until then frowning, face.

However, the light on Shanna's wand soon went out again.

"You need to concentrate, and you need to practice more, you'll definitely succeed." Albert said reassuringly.

"I thought you were going to the library." Lee Jordan sat down next to Albert and looked suspiciously at Shanna who was practising her charms and asked, "I'm not interrupting you guys, am I?"

"What about you two?"

"I don't know." Seeing Shanna's practising her Illumination Charm, George pulled out his wand and practised as well, his Illumination Charm was only half decent.

"What's going on with me?"

"It's probably your lack of concentration!"

"What do you mean probably?" Lee Jordan was a bit depressed, but still began to focus on practising, although there was still time for the next charms class, it was probably better to master them sooner rather than later.

"Can this be considered successfully mastered?"

"You're not focussing on your wand, and you've managed to keep it glowing, so I guess that would count as a success!" Albert stopped flipping through the book and thought for a moment as he answered.

Around eight o'clock, Lee Jordan's Illumination Charm would not easily go out anymore.

Of course, that was if he focused on his wand, Shanna's progress was a little slower, but still very good.

As it turned out, most spells weren't actually too hard to master if you practised hard enough.

"Where have you been?"

It was about eight-thirty when the twins finally appeared in the Great Hall, neither of them looking too good.

"Filch just collected most of our dungbombs." Fred said through gritted teeth.

"What happened?" Albert asked as he looked at the two men suspiciously, "You didn't get caught throwing a dungbomb, did you?"

George, who had a cooler head, told the story.

Just a short while ago, the two were pranked by Peeves, and then went back to the dormitory to get some dungbombs to throw at Peeves face. But when they were about to take action, they were caught by Filch, confiscating most of their dungbombs.

Filch says it's a prohibited item and confiscated the dungbombs they were going to use against Peeves.

The twins' were practically out of breath by the end of their story.

Albert was speechless as he listened to the two.

What kind of dumb shit was this?
