Chapter Fifty-One
It has been a few days since being back in the Human Realm. Camila was helping the teens adjust to life in the Human Realm during that time. And Jacob… well, he was just glad that Danielle had finally woken up and back home. Thinking that it was long enough, Camila showed Luz and the others the way to the Hopkins house through the woods. Though Luz and the others were not expecting… what they walked into.
"Did we just enter another realm?" asked Hunter, looking at the sight around him.
"No," replied Camila, tapping a wind chime. "It's a little pet project they've done since Danielle was little."
All around was a variety of things making you think you entered another world. There were elaborate birdhouses, ranging from small to big. Wind chimes decorated certain branches. A cute little stone pathway with ceramic and wooden little houses, mushroom shaped from stump shaped, you name it, the place was like a fantasy. There was even a tire painted white with multi colored dots acting as a planter with lupines growing in it.
"This is amazing," said Willow, staring at the various perennial plants.
"Whoa," said Luz, as a bunny hopped out of one of the mushroom houses. "It's like a little haven for these little guys."
"I've been thinking that Jacob's wife Aria has a magic barrier around their property," said Camila, walking down the stone path. "And extending into the woods some. The animals just look so calm near their place."
"Oo, yeah, all of them," said Luz, backing away from a skunk that was peeking its head out of a wooden stable like house.
"Hey, there's Danielle," said Amity, pointing towards Danielle as she was surrounded by a few finches.
"Aren't you a sweetie," said Danielle, lightly petting a male purple finch before noticing Luz and the others. "Hey guys."
"Danielle," said Luz, running over and hugging Danielle. "You're okay."
"Weak like a newborn kitten, but yeah I'm fine," said Danielle, looking at Luz.
"This is the most amazing thing I've seen here in Gravesfield," said Luz, twirling around.
"You haven't seen anything yet," said Danielle, gesturing everyone to follow her. "Come on, you'll see."
"You've been here already mom?" asked Luz, seeing her mom a little giddy.
"Me and Vee have been invited a few times already," replied Camila, looking at her daughter. "And I never tire of it."
"It's even more amazing than this," said Vee, before walking backwards.
"How amaz…" said Luz, before seeing Danielle's house and yard. "Whoa!"
"This is…" said Willow, looking around.
"… …" said Gus, speechless before looking at some wind chimes.
"I want to live here," said Hunter, gab smacked.
"No way!" shouted Luz, before grabbing Danielle. "This is your house?!"
"Uh… yeah… tehe," said Danielle, slightly blushing.
"Mamá and papa were looking at this place when they were looking for a place here," said Luz, looking at the house. "To think it's actually your house."
"Born and raised here," said Danielle, before sliding open the sliding door to the dining room. "Welcome to… my house!"
"Whoa!" said everyone minus Camila and Vee, staring around.
"Dad, you're burning the pizza toast again," said Danielle, smelling a slight burn in the air.
"A little burnt is not going to hurt it," said Jacob, from the kitchen.
"Seriously?" said Luz, leaning to Danielle.
"Yeah," said Danielle, showing everyone around. "As you can see this is the dining room."
"You let your cat dine with you?" said Hunter, seeing Skye's dishes in the room.
"She's family and more than just a pet," said Danielle, slightly glaring at Hunter. "She's my fursister and a valued member of this family."
"O-kay," said Hunter, backing away slightly from Danielle.
"Lovely flowers," said Willow, staring at the centerpiece on the table. "What is it?"
"Peonies," replied Danielle, looking at Willow. "They're outside as well in the Enchanted Garden."
"Is that what you call that area?" asked Willow, looking at Danielle. "Is it really enchanted?"
"No, it's just a name," replied Danielle, before gesturing towards the kitchen. "This is the kitchen."
"Your dad really did burn the pizza toast," said Luz, staring at the tray on the counter.
"It adds a little character," said Jacob, plating a pizza toast. "Besides it actually tastes better if its slightly burnt."
"It's the truth," said Danielle, grabbing a pizza toast. "Anyone want one?"
"Mmm, Danielle, they're not lactose free for the Noceda's," said Jacob, looking at his daughter.
"Right," said Danielle, slightly rubbing her arm.
"That's okay," said Camila, looking at Danielle. "We've already eaten."
"Okay… well…" said Danielle, sighing a bit.
"Where's the dishwasher?" asked Luz, staring around the kitchen.
"That's the thing," said Danielle, bopping Luz on the nose. "You're the dishwasher."
"Ooo, one of those houses," said Luz, looking at Danielle. "Still amazing though. Even the appliances look like it matches the house."
"Just wait till you see the rest," said Danielle, gesturing to the living room through the open thru. "The living room."
"Even the furniture?" said Luz, looking around. "Okay, not the tv and game system but still. Seriously though, what's your stereo system playing?"
"Andrea Bocelli," replied Danielle, leaning against the couch's armrest. "One of their early works."
"I can't understand a single word," said Hunter, listening to the music.
"What room is this?" asked Gus, staring into a room.
"Dad's room and it's off limits. Bathroom right there," replied Danielle, before the cuckoo clock went off.
"Isn't that annoying?" asked Amity, staring at the cuckoo clock.
"I got used to it," said Danielle, walking towards the stairs. "Room here is the study slash guest room."
"I want a bed like that," said Willow, staring at the daybed.
"It's also a trundle," said Danielle, before pointing to another room. "That there is the laundry room. My room is upstairs."
"Oo, I love that computer," said Luz, before following everyone upstairs before hearing a bang. "What was that?"
"Skye trying her darndest to get the bird from the clock," replied Danielle, giggling a bit. "She's been doing that since before she hit a year old."
"Whoa!" said everyone minus Camila and Vee, staring around Danielle's room.
"This is my room," said Danielle, sitting on the edge of her bed. "And that's my bathroom."
"Ah! You got the same stars and such on your ceiling," said Luz, seeing the side of the room with Danielle's bed covered with glow in the dark stars, moons and planets.
"Nice collection of books," said Amity, staring at the bookshelves.
"Ooo, Digimon, Pokémon Adventures, Shield Hero…" said Luz, staring at the mangas. "Oh, you're into Witch Hat Atelier too."
"Yup," said Danielle, stretching a bit.
"Inheritance, Artemis Fowl, Septimus Heap, Inkheart, Deltora Quest…" said Luz, looking at the books before gasping. "Good Witch Azura one through five!?"
"That was gift from my cousin!" said Danielle, slightly blushing. "He… he thought I would like it."
"Have you read it?" asked Luz, grinning mischievously.
"Just the once," replied Danielle, looking away. "And only…"
"First edition and autographed!" said Luz, looking at the books. "Your cousin got really lucky."
"Are these those games that you talked about?" asked Hunter, staring at the Swap.
"Some of them," replied Danielle, before hearing a long meow before Skye came into the room and jumped. "Skye!"
"Someone has really missed you," said Luz, watching Skye bombard Danielle with affection.
"I missed her too," said Danielle, while laying on her bed giving nose kisses to Skye.
"Your laptop is bigger than mine," said Luz, noticing the laptop on the coffee table. "Looks to be seventeen inches."
"Your right, it is," said Danielle, getting back into a sitting position. "Well, that actually concludes the tour of my home."
"Now what?" asked Amity, rubbing her arm.
"Now we figure a way back to the isles," replied Luz, pumping her fist. "We'll get a working Portal Door working here."
"Yeah… hooray…" said Jacob, sheepishly nervous as a plane ticket falls out of his pocket.
"… …" said Vee, picking the plane ticket up. "Bradley International Airport to Haneda Airport."
"Wait… what?" said Danielle, standing up and reaching for the ticket.
"Oh, it's nothing," said Jacob, grabbing the plane ticket. "Probably one of the old ones you kept for nostalgia's sake."
"But it was marked recently," said Vee, only to back up into Camila as Jacob glared at her.
"Dad, what is the meaning of this?" asked Danielle, staring at her dad.
"Look sweet pea, I'm… I'm only doing what's best for you here," said Jacob, putting his hands on his daughter's shoulders. "You need to get away from all this. To relax, to recover…"
"I don't need to relax and recover," said Danielle, pushing her dad's hands off her shoulders. "What I need to do is help my friends get back home to their realm, to the isles. I need to get back to Aster and…"
"This is what I'm talking about. You're putting too much on yourself now," said Jacob, looking at his daughter. "You need this more than you think. I'll still help your friends but you need to help yourself too by taking this trip."
"But dad…" said Danielle, staring at her dad.
"Reina is gonna be here in a couple days to pick you up and head to Japan," said Jacob, looking at his daughter. "Besides… uh… you can… get your cousin's autograph for Luz here."
"Dad," said Danielle, staring at her dad.
"I bet she'd love Izumi Asahi's auto…graph," said Jacob, seeing Luz getting a little giddy.
"EEEEEEEEEEEE!" said Luz, before grabbing Danielle's shoulders. "You're Izumi Asahi's cousin?!"
"Uuuh… yes," said Danielle, staring at Luz.
"Whose Izumi Asahi?" asked Hunter, looking at Luz.
"Pop star… idol…" said Luz, lightly jumping around. "I've been following him around since he first started his career. I love his work."
"I'd calm down. Danielle gets a little jealous whenever someone tries to get too close to him," said Jacob, seeing his daughter get a little huffy. "She's had a little puppy crush on her cousin for years."
"I have not!" said Danielle, slightly blushing. "I just… really love… my… cousin."
"Still, you're going," said Jacob, looking at his daughter. "If there's something that you promised, I'll uphold it for you."
"I was going to take Hunter to see Mr. Wilhelm," said Danielle, sitting on her bed.
"… …" said Jacob, before connecting the dots. "Ah, I see. Far warning Hunter, he has three dogs and two cats."
"I don't see a problem," said Hunter, looking at Jacob.
"Oh, you will," thought Jacob, sighing.
"I'll… bring souvenirs back for you guys," said Danielle, deeply sighing.
"The autograph will be enough," said Luz, before squealing. "I'm gonna get Izumi Asahi's autograph."
And so, when the next couple of days, Danielle was boarding a plane straight to Japan with her Aunt Reina. Though stopping at Incheon International Airport in South Korea for the stopping point. Once landed at Haneda Airport, Danielle and her Aunt Reina had procured some bentos before boarding the Tokyo Monorail to go to Hamamatsucho Station then transferring to the JR Yamamote Line to Yurakucho Station.
Danielle was glad to see her cousins and Uncle Takeru again and their pets. It took a few days to adjust and by that time, her cousins decided to take her to Kyoto to see their gramma again. So, taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station before getting some drinks and foods near some convenience stores before getting on the number 12 bus to Seimei Shrine-mae.
"Did we have to get the corn potage flavored cheese curls?" asked Danielle, holding up the bags. "They suck."
"I happen to like them," said Naomi, looking at her cousin.
Naomi was a year older than Danielle. Dark brown short hair, fair skin and dark brown eyes. Was wearing a white cat eared hat with purple goggles on her head. Attire was a white sleeveless turtleneck shirt, purple skirt, white and purple striped stockings, blue and pink boots, and a pink bandana on her left arm. Had her camera hanging around her neck. Stood only at five foot four inches.
"You have gotten quite tall since the last time," said Izumi, lugging their baggage's. "Naomi, don't make me lug your stuff. Get over here."
"But you're my Onī-chan," said Naomi, giving the puppy dog eyes to her brother.
"That stopped working ages ago," said Izumi, before placing some luggage in Naomi's arms. "Here."
"Mmm," said Naomi, grumbling.
"Izumi! Naomi!" said an Elderly Lady, walking over and hugging the two. "Danielle! It's nice to see you again."
"Hi Obā-sama," said Izumi and Naomi, hugging their Obā-sama.
"Nice to meet you again Kiku-chan," said Danielle, slightly bowing.
Kiku was an epitome of a Japanese woman. Stood at five foot four inches. Had fair skin and brown eyes. Long black hair that was tied back with a white cord and stopped at her waist. Attire was of a shrine maiden, white kosode and red hakama, white tabi and red geta sandals. Had a cherry blossom necklace hidden underneath her kosode.
"Come in, come in," said Kiku, gesturing her grandchildren and Danielle in. "I have some freshly made Fuki no Tou Tempura ready."
"Uuuuh," said Izumi and Naomi, grossed out.
"That's lovely," said Danielle, not showing it as much as her cousins.
"Danielle, dear, are you okay?" asked Kiku, before looking at Danielle.
"I just feel weak is all," replied Danielle, leaning on the Ichijō Modori-bashi bridge before scrapping her hand. "Ow."
"It got you good," said Kiku, lightly grabbing Danielle's hand and seeing her blood. "Your blood…"
"It's nothing… really," said Danielle, pulling her hand away as her blood spilled on the bridge.
Once Danielle's blood hit the Ichijō Modori-bashi bridge, a reaction went off. Celestial symbols lit up the bridge. Wandering what was going on and looking around, Danielle, her cousins, and Kiku were teleported away… straight to the Demon Realm. Once in the Demon realm, they were instantly separated by the magic to different parts where they were. Rubbing her head, Danielle looks around.
"Oh no," said Danielle, recognizing where she landed. "Not Titan Trapper Island!"
Though the sound of a musical instrument is heard nearby. One she thought the Demon Realm didn't have. Going towards the sound, Danielle is cautious. Peeking out from behind a boulder, Danielle sees the one playing such an instrument from her realm… the accordion. Slowly walking out from behind the boulder, Danielle stares at the person.
"Yancy…" said Danielle, as the person turns around. "Yancy Quibble… is that… you?"
"Oh my gosh, Danielle?" said Yancy, stopping his playing and grabbing twirling Danielle around. "It is you! I haven't seen or heard from you since I moved."
Yancy Quibble was a young teen, same age as Danielle. Short messy, sun kissed hair that stuck up at various angles, green eyes and light skin. Had freckles adorning his face from one cheek to the other cheek, crossing over his nose. Attire was khaki cargo pants, short sleeve light blue shirt and a white sleeveless unzipped hoodie over it, and blue sneakers.
"I can't believe you're in this realm," said Danielle, as Yancy put her down. "How?"
"Highgate Cemetery," replied Yancy, nervously rubbing the back of his head and looking away.
"How long have you been here?" asked Danielle, looking at Yancy.
"Since the middle of summer… of last year," replied Yancy, before chuckling. "But it's been great. I've never felt so free."
"Yancy," said Danielle, watching her old friend during some cartwheels and such.
"What about you?" asked Yancy, looking at Danielle.
"Not long after school let out last summer," replied Danielle, looking at Yancy. "Been on the Boiling Isles this whole time."
"Have you found a way back?" asked Yancy, looking at Danielle. "I can stay in Gravesfield and…"
"What about your parents and…" said Danielle, only to be tackled to the ground by someone. "Ow."
"Kitkat, she's a friend, she's a friend," said Yancy, grabbing hold and pulling the other person off.
Turns out Kitkat was some feline like demon with witch like features. From the waist down was the legs of a tiger. On up was mostly witch like with the ears being like a tiger. Had messy red short chin length hair, light skin with a tan, and green eyes. Attire was a purple midriff shirt and opened toed fabric shoes. Was about twelve years old and female.
"Friend?" said Kitkat, before sniffing Danielle. "Don't smell human."
"Yeah… about that…" said Danielle, nervously chuckling. "I'm not…"
"I know," said Yancy, looking at Danielle.
"What?" said Danielle, shocked and confused.
"Remember our first play in kindergarten," said Yancy, looking at Danielle. "Had to pretend I was knocked out but you ended up… turning everyone into… dolls."
"Heke," said Danielle, shocked and surprised. "I… uh… don't really remember besides having stage fright. I think mom suppressed that memory."
"So, I guess your mom is from here?" said Yancy, looking at Danielle. "I loved to meet her again."
"She's not from here. She's from somewhere else," said Danielle, nervously rubbing her arm. "Nor is she a witch or anything from here."
"O-kay," said Yancy, not sure what to make of that. "You were on the isles that I recently went to. What are you doing here?"
"A gate in Kyoto brought me here," replied Danielle, looking at Yancy.
"That means you found a way back home," said Yancy, looking at Danielle. "That means Emperor…"
"That bastard is dead! And will stay dead," said Danielle, getting a little angry.
"Whoa… Danielle… this is…this is not like you," said Yancy, concerned. "What happened?"
"What happened is that Philip Wittebane survived to this time and plotted this realm's downfall as Emperor Belos," replied Danielle, looking at Yancy. "He tricked and manipulated people…"
"Danielle, calm down," said Yancy, not like seeing Danielle like this.
"And he petrified me and Luz. Petrified!" said Danielle, raising her voice. "If it wasn't for the magic in my mom's necklace, we would still be petrified and he would have returned back to our realm!"
"Danielle, I…" said Yancy, backing away slightly in fear.
"He would have set the world back years all so he could…" said Danielle, looking at Yancy.
"Danielle, stop!" shouted Yancy, getting Danielle back to her senses.
"Yancy, I'm-I'm sorry," said Danielle, before sitting on the boulder. "Everything has been so hectic as of lately."
"Can't say I had it easy when I landed here," said Yancy, sitting next to Danielle only for Kitkat to get between them. "If it wasn't for Cattleya here, I'd be in bigger trouble."
"What happened?" asked Danielle, looking at Yancy as Kitkat held his arm.
"You know my mom was against putting me on pills to control my energy and get me to focus," said Yancy, remembering back. "Well, a few years later after returning to England, mom died and dad... well, he got me on them."
"Yancy," said Danielle, looking at Yancy, concerned. "I'm sorry."
"She's in a better place but I wasn't," said Yancy, looking at the ground. "Those pills really messed with me and I… I went to Highgate Cemetery to end it all."
"Yancy!" shouted Danielle, looking at Yancy.
"It's okay, it's okay! Some weird gate activated and I appeared on the mainland here in this realm," said Yancy, looking at Danielle. "Sure, I had withdrawal symptoms at the beginning but I had Kitkat there to help me."
"Good," said Danielle, taking a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Kitkat for helping Yancy. He's a special one."
"He is," said Kitkat, holding tight to Yancy. "Ate plenty of fish."
"No more," thought Yancy, mentally groaning.
"Yancy happy make Kitkat happy," said Kitkat, gripping Yancy and snuggling against him. "Happy here. Yancy stay."
"Whoa, wait Kitkat," said Yancy, as Kitkat tightened her grip. "I need to go back home. I still have…"
"No! Not happy there. Dad put on meds. Sister doesn't care," said Kitkat, staring at Yancy. "But here, you happy. Stay… I'll make happy furever. Not want to leave."
"Uh oh," thought Yancy, before some netting was tossed around him and Kitkat. "Hey!"
"Yancy! Kitkat!" said Danielle, startled before setting off a Plant Glyph to cut the netting off. "Hold on, I'll…."
"Grand Huntress!" said Bill, with a group of Titan Trappers. "You're back."
"Oh, you have got to tell me…" said Yancy, before seeing Danielle's eye twitch in annoyance.
"I should punt you into the Boiling Seas!" shouted Danielle, staring at Bill. "And don't call me that!"
"…" said Bill, staring at Danielle. "Well, anyway, we got interlopers on our island. Two young'uns about your age and we finally trapped the last Titan."
"What?" said Danielle, shocked before getting angry. "You no good…"
"One of those are still alive?!" said Yancy, shocked.
Unfortunately, Yancy didn't get much to say. Danielle had set off a Wind Glyph that had them flying towards the settlement. Yancy and Kitkat had clung to Danielle with how erratic her flying was. Spotting her cousins and King, Danielle landed and started cutting everyone lose.
"Weh!" said King, happy to see Danielle. "Danielle!"
"Don't worry, I'll get you out," said Danielle, finally getting their binds off.
"Thanks," said Naomi, rubbing her wrists.
"We have to get out of here before those jerks get back," said Izumi, rubbing his wrists as well. "Obā-sama is still out… Danielle?"
"What happened right here?" asked Danielle, checking King's skull were there was a massive crack.
"Yeah, that was towards the airship that day," said King, nervous.
"Uh… Danielle?" said Izumi, getting his cousin's attention.
"Oh right, Izumi, Naomi meet King," said Danielle, picking King up. "And Yancy and Kitkat."
"Hi," said Izumi and Naomi, slightly waving at King.
"Yeah… um…" said Danielle, nervous.
"I knew it!" said Naomi, pointing at her cousin. "I knew it all along! You're part yokai!"
"Actually, I'm not," said Danielle, looking at her cousin. "Neither witch or demon but a child of the stars."
"What?" said Izumi, Naomi, and Yancy, staring at Danielle.
"I'm on the verge of becoming a full-blown immortal Celestial," said Danielle, looking at everyone. "Surprise… hehe… this doesn't help does it?"
"Im-Immortal?" said Izumi, blanching. "Like in… as a god?"
"I'd rather not think of it like that," said Danielle, looking at everyone.
"We really need to get off this island," said King, looking up at Danielle.
"Our Obā-sama is still here," said Izumi, looking at King. "We can't leave her."
"Over here," said a Young Adult Titan Trapper, gesturing to everyone. "I get can you to Ms. Kiku."
"Where's our Obā-sama?" asked Izumi, not trusting the Young Adult Titan Trapper.
"With my… grandfather," replied the Young Adult Titan Trapper, sighing. "Come on before Elder Bill gets back."
Not fully trusting the Young Adult Titan Trapper, everyone followed from a distance. Danielle was able to explain some of her story to her cousins, Yancy and Kitkat. King though was just happy to be in Danielle's arms again. Seeing a hut, the Young Adult Titan Trapper leads them inside to where they see Kiku… with Tarak and Aster.
"Obā-sama!" shouted Izumi and Naomi, running over and hugging their Obā-sama.
"Aster!" said Danielle, running over and hugging Aster. "I'm so glad you're okay."
"Same here," said Aster, hugging back. "So glad to see you princess."
"Really," said Danielle, hearing her cousins and Yancy stifle their laughs.
"Ms. Kiku said your blood activated a portal in Kyoto," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "It's one of the old gates that our kind left there."
"You got to be kidding me," said Danielle, groaning a little. "Wait… as in a natural gateway. Old Gravesfield!"
"Oh, I know what you're talking about," said Yancy, snapping his fingers. "Before the town really started to expand."
"The gateway that Caleb went through to get to the Boling Isles after Evelyn," said Danielle, looking at everyone. "We don't have to make a new Portal Door, we'll just get the old gateway working… but how?"
"You want to come back here?" said Izumi, looking at Danielle, concerned. "I get that you're some Celestial but…"
"I have some friends from here that are stuck in Gravesfield," said Danielle, looking at Izumi. "I just… want to help them get back."
"Oh, how is Luz?" asked King, looking at Danielle.
"Like me, blaming herself," replied Danielle, sighing.
"What?" said King, looking at Danielle.
"Why would Luz blame herself?" asked Aster, looking at Danielle. "And why would you? There's nothing for you to blame yourself for."
"It's…" said Danielle, looking at the ground.
"Come now. Let's dwell on that later," said Kiku, staring at the teens and kids. "Sit down and have something to eat to calm yourselves."
"Obā-sama… you're taking this rather well," said Izumi, sitting down at the table.
"I've been here before," said Kiku, shocking everyone besides Tarak and the Young Adult Titan Trapper. "It was back when I graduated high school. The Ichijō Modori-bashi bridge somehow activated and me and my two best friends landed here."
"Sad to hear that Makoto is no longer with us," said Tarak, reminiscing. "I enjoyed those days with you three. It was never dull… and I was able to make some of those lovely dishes you made."
"It was that elder of yours that is the cause of a lot of problems," said Kiku, looking at Tarak. "You need a new leader in charge."
"I vote my grandfather," said the Young Titan Trapper, looking at Tarak. "Name's Jamil, everyone."
"I actually think we need someone younger than I," said Tarak, looking at his grandson. "Jamil, I believe you should be. You care a lot for our people and done things to help bolster us."
"If it means that you stop going after King," said Aster, grabbing a toasted onigiri. "Then sure, go Jamil."
"I don't believe Titans are evil beings," said Danielle, looking at Tarak and Jamil. "They're no different than us. King is a good kid who had just learned that day what he was no thanks to you."
"Wait, young King didn't know he was a Titan," said Tarak, staring at Danielle than King.
"Well, no but…" said King, before sighing. "Remember when I said to help save our realm. Well apparently, some of us time traveled to stop Belos from destroying our realm."
"What?" shouted Tarak and Jamil, standing up in fury.
"It started with Luz then it went to me and now…" said Danielle, looking at everyone. "It's the both of us. I left the day after I found out that Emperor Belos was Philip Wittebane. I-I traveled into the past with a time pool hoping he could help me get a working Portal Door but I-I…"
"It's okay dear," said Kiku, rubbing Danielle's back.
"He really hurt Luz that day. He branded her with the mark that the Witch Hunters had back then," said Danielle, tearing up. "He has no love for the modern world. He wants to set it back to the old days and he'll petrify any who stands in his way."
"He can petrify Hamas for all I care," said Kiku, looking at Danielle. "But he'll been seen as a threat regardless. Whatever magic he uses…"
"I actually disintegrated his staff so he can't do anything but turn into that sludge monster," said Aster, looking at everyone. "The only thing he can do is use the glyphs and he has to be here or near a source of Titan Blood."
"There's no Titan Blood in our world," said Naomi, looking at Aster.
"How else did Yancy get here than?" asked Danielle, before looking at Yancy. "He was at Highgate Cemetery before he was drawn here. The only other thing I can think of is when Titan Blood mixes with water forming a portal between the two realms… like Eclipse Lake with Philip."
"How'd you think Evelyn did?" asked Aster, looking at Danielle. "Cause she had some Titan Blood always on hand to activate the old gate in Gravesfield."
"Meaning there was a witch that left some in Highgate Cemetery," said Danielle, before looking at Yancy. "Did you step on something while there?"
"I remember hearing something crack and that's all," replied Yancy, looking at Danielle. "I kinda blacked out after being blinded."
"Then there's got to be some Titan Blood that Evelyn left behind," said Danielle, getting excited. "Luz and the others are gonna be thrilled to know. We… uh… just got to find it."
"But I…" said King, looking at Danielle.
"King," said Danielle, looking at King. "What is it?"
"I thought I could protect you two," said King, looking at Danielle. "I thought by doing that, I could…"
"King," said Danielle, looking at King. "Your magic weakened me. I feel weak as a newborn kitten here."
"I didn't know," said King, looking at Danielle. "I'm sorry. I've been so busy trying to avoid Nova and helping Aster that I…"
"Whose Nova?" asked Danielle, looking at King.
"That blaze that day was Nova," replied Aster, looking at Danielle. "He's a member of our race and studying under my brother Dios to be the next Grand Huntsman. And Rune hasn't really left the Archive House wanting to study Eda and the Owl Beast or just reading books from the Bonesborough Library."
"Two more…" said Danielle, paling. "Oh please, I'm not ready to go there."
"Don't worry. They're not gonna take you back to our realm," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "They're around my age. I'm just glad Spica not here. Whoa!"
"Found you," said Nova, lifting the roof off.
"That's Nova!?" said Danielle, staring at Nova.
"What did I tell you about telling these itty bitty spiders my name?" said Nova, glaring at Aster.
"Weh!" shouted King, sending a sonic wave at Nova.
"Whoa… hey!" said Nova, before tumbling to the ground and the roof landing back on the house. "Damn Titan!"
"Wait… what?" said King, confused.
"Um… yeah…" said Aster, nervously chuckling. "Titan magic cancels out our magic."
"Aster!" shouted Nova, jumping Aster before Danielle pulled him away.
"That's enough," said Danielle, holding Aster.
"Stand aside itty bitty spider," said Nova, glaring at Danielle. "This is none of your concerns. Meddle and I'll wipe you out of existence."
"Uh… Danielle, maybe you should…" said Yancy, staring at Danielle nervously.
"I'm not going to let him hurt Aster and King," said Danielle, looking at Yancy.
"Pathetic mortal!" said Nova, getting at least a little flame heading towards Danielle.
"Aah!" squeaked Danielle, holding her hands.
"Danielle!" shouted everyone, seeing little burn marks on Danielle's hands.
"That's what she gets for meddling with me," said Nova, glaring at Aster. "Now let me at that Titan. I still want to play with it."
"You hurt the princess, you meanie!" shouted Aster, tackling Nova.
"Danielle, dearie," said Kiku, wrapping some bandages around Danielle's hands.
"I'll be okay," said Danielle, before trying to draw a glyph.
"Danielle, dearie, don't," said Kiku, stopping Danielle. "You're injured."
"Let Obā-sama tend to you," said Izumi, handing over some medicated ointment.
"Yancy," said Kitkat, watching Yancy draw something. "New picture."
"I-I just saw it," said Yancy, before activating said picture.
"You know glyphs?" said Danielle, as Yancy hovered the rose made from the glyph over her burns.
"I know some," said Yancy, tending to Danielle.
"Want to learn more?" asked Danielle, looking at Yancy than her cousins and Kiku. "I relied on that before my magic started up. Looks like Papa Titan wanted to help you."
"Papa Titan?" said Yancy, looking at Danielle, confused.
"The Boiling Isles Titan," said Danielle, looking at Yancy. "His heart still beats."
"Wait… does that mean…" said Izumi, looking at the ground.
"I don't know about the Titan that is Titan Trapper Island," said Danielle, before separating Aster and Nova. "Alright, that's enough. "
"He started it," said Aster, pointing at Nova before checking Danielle's hands, lightly rubbing them. "Are you okay Danielle?"
"I'll be fine. They got tended to immediately," said Danielle, looking at Aster.
"I got your cap!" said Nova, yanking Aster's cap off.
"Whoa," said King, seeing Aster's hair.
"Don't look, don't look," said Aster, trying to cover his hair.
"That is so cool!" said Izumi, Naomi, and Yancy, staring at Aster's hair.
"Its galaxy colored," said Danielle, lightly stroking Aster's hair. "That's actually pretty neat."
"You… you don't think I'm a freak?" asked Aster, staring at everyone.
"Why would we?" asked Kitkat, staring at Aster.
"Cause me and my mom are the only ones to have it among our kind," replied Aster, looking at everyone. "I was always teased and bullied cause of it."
"There are people back in the Human Realm that dye their hair all sorts of colors," said Izumi, looking at Aster. "People will most likely try and see if they can get their hair to look like yours. It's pretty cool."
"Really?" said Aster, looking ate everyone. "Yes! Others like my hair."
"What… no, they were suppose to…" said Nova, before growling.
"You know, I just had about enough of you," said Danielle, looking at Nova.
"What are you gonna do about it itty bitty spider?" said Nova, before Danielle grabbed him. "Wait… what…"
"This," said Danielle, placing Nova over her knees.
"Ow! Ow! Why does it… Ow!" shouted Nova, as he got spanked. "How is this possible? Ow! It hurts!"
"That has… to hurt," said Aster, wincing as Danielle kept it up for a few more.
"There," said Danielle, placing Nova down. "Now I hope you can reflect on your actions there."
"I'm gonna tell Dios! You'll regret this!" said Nova, running out of the hut.

"That's carbonated beverages for you," said Danielle, looking at Aster and King.
"The Takoyaki was good too," said Aster, aiming for another Takoyaki.
"What did you think of the onigiri?" asked Naomi, looking at Aster while eating one herself.
"Not bad," replied Aster, looking at Naomi. "We should really expand this into our realm."
"And here," said King, grabbing a rice cracker. "Tasty."
"Here we go," said Tarik, coming out from the kitchen. "Some freshly made…"
