Mandalorian Violence.
Mandalorians, a warrior culture where many of the galaxy's most dangerous warriors come together to form powerful clans. The Mandalorians thrive of war and conflict, desiring little more than to test their brutal might in vicious combat, and hoping to die on the battlefield like a true warrior. This would lead to The Mandalorian Wars, a series of massacres that masked another war, a war of conversion. The Mandalorian Wars included some of the bloodiest battles in the Republic's history. Mandalore the Ultimate's relentless campaign to goad the Jedi into open conflict cost the lives of millions. But the jedi chose not to intervene, leaving the Republic to fend off the vicious warriors themselves. The Mandalorians proved a nere unstoppable force, and it looked like the galaxy was doomed to crumble under their might.
However, a Jedi splinter faction decided to go against the council's orders and joined the war. This would become of of the major factors that turned the tide against the Mandalorians. Still the war raged on, until Mandalore the Ultimate was finally slain in single combat against a brave jedi hero. However, if there is one thing the Mandalorians have proven, it's that they are frighteningly resilient. Centuries has passed and the Mandalorians are still around, and while not as powerful as they used to be, they are no less deadly, and while most clans are avoiding open conflict with either the republic or the empire, some still hold on to old grudges.
One of these clans were the deadly Warsong Clan, lead by Garrosh Hellscream. The Warsong Clan had arrived at a planet named Sanctuary, a planet located between Republic and Imperial space, and as it name suggests it was meant to be an Sanctuary for anyone affected by the war... but the planet would soon be corrupted by something evil, and the Republic had set up base to guard a dangerous artifact. Garrosh was interested in what could be so important that the Republic would risk provoking the Empire to guard. Before they could move on to the base, the Mandalorians attacked one of their key outposts. The Republic soldiers where fighting back the best they could, but where struggling against the battle hardened warriors.
As his forces where firing at their enemies, Garrosh himself calmly walked passed his warriors, a few blaster bolts gracing his armor. The enemy defense line needed to be broken, and Garrosh was more than willing to be the one to do it himself. He's not just a leader, he's a warrior, and he prefers to lead on the front line
With his trusty Beskar ax in hand Garrosh charged his enemies like a raging rancor. The enemies fired at him, but their blasters did little to his armor as he shattered the barrier they had built. He swung his ax several times, sending his enemies flying with each strike, their armors offering little to no protection against Garrosh's deadly weapon. Garrosh's ax cut clean through a soldier's armor, nearly cleaving him in two, before he quickly pulled it free and cut of the head of another. Laughing off the few who managed to get a few shots in, he brought his ax down on a soldier's head, easily cutting through his helmet and head in one strike.
But after he did that, he grunts as electrified batons where jammed in to his sides, high voltage ripping through his armor. However, his armor was made to protect him even against electric attacks so he powered through the attacks and killed three of the republic soldiers with a single swing from his ax. One trooper pulled out his knife and Garrosh almost laughed at his desperate attempt and openly dared him to stab him. The trooper aimed for Garrosh's unprotected neck, but Garrosh grabbed his arm and easily snapped it with a single twist. The trooper didn't even have time to scream before Garrosh finished him with a decapitation.
Garrosh looked around and saw his warriors finished of the remaining soldiers. He proceeded onwards ignoring a few blaster hits from the soldiers inside the base. When he reached the door, it was sealed. Not a problem, he just motioned for one of his tanks to blow it open. Garrosh stepped inside and saw republic soldiers laying injured on the ground, having been injured from the blast. Garrosh walked up to the where the communications were, and noticed a female officer working on something. As he approached, a trooper opened fire on him with a heavy weapon, but Garrosh's armor held up and he threw his ax at insane speed, and it cut clean through the trooper.
As Garrosh retrieved his ax, he saw the officer press something and glared at him "You're to late, I sent a message to the base. They know you are here, and soon the republic will come for you".
Garrosh smiled darkly as he grabbed her by the head "Yes, I'm counting on it".
With that he snapped her neck. The republic will come for him, and likely have a jedi come along. Finally, Garrosh will once again prove why the Mandalorians should be feared. His forces had grown larger and larger, with battle hungry warriors eagerly waiting to unleash their fury. Garrosh's war machines were at the peek of their power, and vicious beasts had been captured from across the galaxy to be unleashed on their enemies. The battle on this planet was only the beginning, once Garrosh's plans were completed, he would start the next Mandalorian War, and this time the galaxy would fall and the Mandalorian people would claim their rightful place as the one true power in the galaxy.
Garrosh watched over the lands, which will soon burn and tremble under their might. He spent years preparing for this, to finally live up to his father's legacy. Gromash Hellscream was the greatest warrior the galaxy has ever seen, and yet people dared to forget him. Garrosh never forgot and he will make sure the power of Hellcream will never be forgotten again. He knows the republic will send in the jedi to deal with him, a challenge Garrosh will welcome with open arms... and if a specific jedi from his past shows up, all the better.
He will show the galaxy the true power of Mandalor.
In the main republic base, an older soldier named Jack Morrison had received the message of what happened, and needless to say he was not happy. He reviewed the security footage, and what he saw was something he really hoped he wouldn't need to deal with.
"Mandalorians... of course those blood thirsty people wouldn't stay quiet" Jack said in a tired tone until he noticed the leader, and that made him more nervous "Garrosh Hellscream...".
"Sir, what should we do?" A soldier asked.
"Prepare our defenses, I need to make a call" Jack said in a grim tone.
If Garrosh Hellscream is the one behind the attack, then only one person can stop him.
Meanwhile, Thrall and Artanis had returned to Aiur. After the close call at Naboo where Leah was nearly used by the dark Orc Gul'dan and his two headed Ogre servant Cho'Gall to bring back one of the dark force monsters. That was more than enough for them decide that Leah's break from Aiur was over and she was brought back to where she was safe. Artanis had already informed the council about what happened and they would make sure to keep an eye out for Gul'dan and his followers.
Right now, Artanis was watching Leah and Thrall training together, there had been a while since they last saw each other, so they decided to catch up for a bit.
Leah stood ready with her lightsaber befor running forward for a strike. Thrall blocked it easily enough, but Leah quickly spun for a strike to his side and was blocked again, before leaping up and delivered a downward strike which was also blocked. Thrall smiled, Leah had learned some new tricks, looks like her training here had paid off. Leah smirked and Thrall finally noticed her hand was open, before he was hit in the head by a small rock, not hard enough to cause any injuries, but was enough to break his focus. Leah quickly tried to take advantage of this... only for Thrall to force push her away, making her slide across the floor.
"Ow... I thought for sure I had you this time" Leah said with a groan.
"You almost did, that force push was pure reflex. Looks like you've learned a lot since I last saw you" Thrall said as he helped Leah up.
Leah smiled in pride "I have, and I still got plenty of tricks left. Let's go again".
Thrall smiled back and got ready. Their sabers clashed again, but this time Thrall decided to test Leah's defense a little so he went on the offence. Leah backed away, focusing more on deflecting Thrall's blows rather than blocking them, a smart move since blocking the blows from someone who's physically stronger would be very difficult, and should be avoided for as much as possible. That said, Leah's defense was far from perfect as she clearly struggled with trying to counter Thrall's strikes, rather than just responding to them. Thrall could sense Leah growing increasingly frustrated and that made him break off the duel.
"What are you doing?" Leah demanded.
"I could sense your frustration. I believe it's best if we call it a day" Thrall said.
Leah looked down "Because if we don't, I will just snap again".
"Leah, I-" Thrall began but Leah stopped.
"It's ok Master, I know I still have much to learn" Leah said, sounding sad.
Thrall was about to comfort her but a protoss ran inside "Master Go'el, someone is contacting us, asking to speak to you. It sounds urgent".
Thrall looked at Leah for a moment before responding "Transfer it to my ship, I will speak with them there".
Deciding Leah needed some time alone, Thrall headed back to his ship to speak to whoever was contacting him. Leah watched him leave before walking away as well, Artanis shook his head, both master and student still had lessons they needed to learn. Thrall arrived at his ship and answered the call, and was a little surprised by who he saw.
"Jack Morrison? This is an unexpected surprise" Thrall admitted.
"Yeah, I need your help. I'm on the planet Sanctuary. My mission was to guard something important, but we're under attack by Mandalorians" Jack explained.
"The Mandalorians... I thought they had been a little quiet lately. But I don't understand why you would contact me, you know I have retired from the battlefield" Thrall reminded.
"I know, had our enemy been anyone else, I wouldn't have bothered you with it. But there is a reason why we need you specifically... The Mandalorians attacking us, is the Warsong clan" Jack explained.
Thrall got wide eyes, if the Warsong clan was attacking then that means... "Garrosh...".
Jack nodded "I'm afraid so. Garrosh Hellscream is tearing through our outposts and slaughtering everyone in sight. You know him better than anyone, Thrall. We need your help to stop him".
Thrall closed his eyes, he did indeed have a history with Garrosh... And he had hoped to never have to face him again. But it was clear that Garrosh's rage had not faded over the years, and he was back with a vengeance. Thrall swore he would never fight in a war again after what happened to him, but Garrosh's wasn't stopped, then another Mandalorian war was inevitable.
"Very well. I shall aid you in stopping the Warsong Clan and Garrosh. I will arrive as soon as I can" Thrall said.
Jack nods in gratitude "Thank you... And I'm sorry for asking thing of you, had it been anyone else...".
"It's alright, I know what I must do" Thrall said before ending the communication.
Garrosh... how Thrall had prayed to never hear his name again. But it's clear his past won't go away. He needs to face Garrosh and stop him before he wrecks havoc across the galaxy... and this time, Thrall might have to kill him...
