Chapter 9

Meanwhile…

"That's 13"

"Damn it…"

"How come you find them before we do!"

"So unfair…"

Shin smirked as he blew away the latest curse to catch his attention, at the same time he brought the siblings with him, even Saitama came out to learn how to defeat curses, but he kept himself hidden when they were in public. Shin thought he would take them out for some air, at the same time, his mother asked him to keep an eye on Saitama too. 'I don't think he's eaten properly in a while, try and get him to have at least one good thing if you can'

It was a tall order, however, Shin had confidence, and he got Saitama to eat an ice cream the last time.

"Big brother… why is that man staring at you?" Saitama asked from the shadows.

"That man?" he asked. Shin had his senses on high, he just detected curse energy when suddenly, that man Saitama spoke of, appeared behind him.

There was a big smile on his face, and then, his curse energy surged. Shin stepped back, after all, the stitching across the brow was a good indication as to who this was.

"Kenjaku…" he growled.

That man paused, but smirked. "It's amazing how your family always seems to know who I am despite my best efforts into hiding it…"

"You're outnumbered, why are you even here?" Shin demanded.

He got a chill as Kenjaku looked him up and down before licking his lip at the sight of him. "I think you're just about ready…" he said contently. "I can already sense that you surpassed your father… rather remarkable in doing so, but given your bloodline, it's not too difficult to see…"

Shin was preparing for a fight, but paused as he felt a small tug on his pants, he peered over, just as the smile on Kenjaku's face dropped. "What… what is THAT doing there?!"

Shin looked down at what tugged his pants… it was a mouse! And yet, the mouse was oddly… animated as it walked forward and made a motion to him. As if saying 'I got this' and then shooed Shin back.

He didn't argue with it and did as he was told. The mouse walking on its hind legs and acted rather… humorously began to approach Kenjaku, snapping it's little knuckless in anticipation of a fight!

"Uh… do you guys…" Shin began to ask.

They shook their heads no. "Not us, but, big brother… don't get in its way." Warned Saitama.

So naturally he heeded his brother's advice and backed away. But curiosity made him stay.

It's not every day he sees a sorcerer as old or older than Sukuna be afraid of a mouse!

But soon, it wasn't just the mouse. There came out all sorts of creatures. Cats, dogs, birds… the typical ones you see get into comedic hijinks in cartoons… more of them appeared and began to gather and stare at Kenjaku as if he's a toy.

"I KNOW YOU'RE HERE! SHOW YOURSELF YOU BASTARD!" Kenjaku shouted.

"Just turn around, why don't you?"

Shin even jumped as this sorcerer came out of nowhere and was now behind Kenjaku!

It startled him enough to stumble back, and when he did, the mouse did a small whistle… mice came out of the shadows, real and shikigami and converged on Kenjaku! He was screaming trying to get these things off of him! It was hilarious!

Yet also disturbing as they aimed for the stitching in his head…

Saitama and his siblings were laughing, and Shin snickered. Kenjaku was chased out of the alleyway in no time but now it left the sorcerer. "You kids okay?" he asked sincerely.

Shin came forward and nodded. "Thank you for the help."

The man paused oddly, in fact, he peered at him as if he knew him. "You got a look… something I've seen before…" he then peered behind Shin to his siblings and yet looked confused. "I swear you guys look familiar to me…" he said offhandedly.

"Sorry sir, we never met. I'm Shin by the way."

"Shin? Nice name! Good to meet you! I'm Takaba!" he said.

Looking behind himself, Shin smiled as the siblings came forward on their own. They gave proper introductions and yet, Saitama hid.

Takaba paused as he looked and saw him in the shadows. "Sorry, I have a sibling that is a little shy…" he explained.

He waved it off. "I completely understand. It was nice to meet you and stay safe… I didn't like the way that jackass was looking at you. Be mindful, understood?" Takaba asked of Shin.

He was taken aback, but nodded to him. It's not every day a sorcerer expresses concern for another. "By the way… are you in school? Your control over your curse energy is top notch!"

"My Oji taught me." He explained. "Very strict, very serious and yet… very informative." He explained. "It's not every day I get insight from him like others… he helped me push my ability farther than my father."

Takaba nodded to him. "I could see that, the output coming out of you is nearly hard to believe and yet, here we are." He laughed. "Well, you kids take care, safe journey getting back home." The sorcerer Takaba then walked out and vanished from there.

Shin paused oddly. "Huh, I never met him before and yet… he thinks he knows us? How?" he wondered.

"Big brother… can we get a snack?"

Shin paused as his siblings sounded hungry. "Yeah, after that, I could go for a snack. Who wants rice balls?"

"Dad, you're back!"

Hakuryo Tooru just returned from his round of patrols. The strange thing was, the area that he was suppose to take care of today, were already dealt with by that kid, yet he knew to linger around. After all, his shikigami caught whiff of Kenjaku and wanted to be at the ready.

He was glad he stuck around.

"I got to say, there's some talent out there that is not in our school," he explained.

His son, Roark paused to this. He was tending to his newborn son as Hakuryo explained the situation. "There were some powerful kids on my patrol route, they took out the threats, but Kenjaku was eyeing one of the kids like a meal. I can understand why too…"

"Did you offer them an invite to the school?" Roark asked.

He shook his head no. "We have nothing to teach that boy," he explained. "What is startling is the fact that he was using the six eyes ability, I saw him summon hallow purple instantly and condensed it into a ball before firing it at a large curse… it blew up instantly!"

His son paused and peered at his father. "So it was a Gojo?" he asked.

"No doubt… and yet…"

"And yet?"

"He looked familiar."

Roark finished changing his son's diaper and clothing before turning back to his father. "No doubt that kid is probably is a Gojo if they look like a Gojo…"

"But the rule that clan has with its technique… that boy shouldn't have it at all. We have been caught up on events here, Tengen is gone, and there is no star plasma vessel merger. Therefore there is no need for the six eyes to come into factor let alone exist to anyone besides Satoru Gojo." He explained. "And that technique is not inherited through blood. It is by timing and the need of it. How did a Gojo child gain it?" He then paused. "He also said that his Oji taught him… Satoru Gojo is an only child and there are not many within that clan that could get away with being called merely uncle. So it's not his kid at least… still, if that was the case the clan would never let him out of their sights…"

He knew he was asking his son the right questions. Despite being in a younger body, many still consider Hakuryo to be an old man! Granted, he is… but he looks like he is one of the youngest in the family!

"That is true… if we run into the kid again, maybe we can get more information…"

"Yeah, that boy wasn't alone either. He had five other siblings with him, granted, two of them didn't look much like their brothers and sisters, but still…"

"We will keep an eye on things as they progress. I am still hopeful to hear about the kid that blew up the stadium."

Hakuryo paused and remembered that incident, and yet… "Are you certain about that? Let's face it, that boy unleashed so much energy, it brought Sukuna's cult to our door. If that doesn't say something about that boy…"

"Are you saying that the kid was Sukuna?" Roark demanded.

"All I am asking is that did every bit of him get destroyed? You know how curse objects work. Hell there was even a test back in my day to see if enough residual energy was on an item to fuse INTO a curse object…"

"Dad… the kid isn't a bad kid. His insight is second to none. Hell, Kiba told me that he knew that those learning reverse jujutsu only partly understood the method. For nearly all the wounds that they 'fixed' were not healed. How could someone on their first day notice that when they didn't take the class before?"

That was exactly his concern. How did a kid on his first day dissect and see that the reverse jujutsu was not a full strength from his peers? How did he know the wounds were still in play? "It maybe my old age, but also, my old age allowed me to get as far as I did…" he said with a slight concern.

"I will take responsibility for it." Roark stated. "In fact, I will personally teach him. So if there is any chance that he might act out again, I can react and help him faster, no other students will be affected."

He sighed in defeat. Toorus are stubborn people, he is more than aware of that, at the same time… he just maybe over thinking things.

"So… is Kiba going to ask that woman out? The lady with the reverse jujutsu… Shoko?" he asked.

"We're waiting for him to do so, Relian is telling him to either take the shit or get off the pot! Also… Suo is taking interest in her, and you know him… he acts when his brother hesitates."
