CH 4 Forbidden Territory
Rupe went downstairs after tucking the potion bottles in her pouch and went out of the portrant hole. She didn't stop walking until she reached the forbidden forest. Her 3/16 leprechaun heritage made her attracted to forests, and she felt safe going during a war too. Ferinzr kept out all wizards, and even dark creatures that sided with voldemort. Hagrid helped Firenze with that as well.
Rupe knew Remus was a werewolf, having helped the Mauraders, and he told her, sensing what she was. None of the creatures going to Voldemort dared to visit the Forbidden Forest. They know Dumbledore won't be pleased if they do.
Trusting her 1/3 leprechaun instincts (and her 2/9 fairy plus 1/3 genie instincts) to keep her safe, she made made her way into the forest. Firenze let her in the forest as she wasn't 100% witch, and her features were evidence of her ancestry.
The fuscia undertones in her hair, her orange amber eyes, and her round facial structure were evidence of her ancestry. Most students assume she has goblin blood she doesn't correct them. Her friendship with the Mauraders also softens Firenze to her since he allows the Mauraders to enter his territory around the full moon. He knows Remus isn't a threat but Wayne the Maurauders to make sure all the students stay safe.
