The next morning, Erin and Jay walked into the precinct, looking a bit more rested but still processing the big news. The unit was already gathered, working on their tasks. As Erin and Jay entered, they caught the attention of their colleagues.

"Hey, look who decided to show up. Feeling better, Lindsay?" Ruzek said, noticing them first.

"Yeah, you look a lot better today," Burgess added with a smile.

"Thanks, guys. I'm feeling much better," Erin replied, smiling back.

Atwater teased, "So, was it really just bad takeout?"

Jay and Erin exchanged a quick glance, deciding it was time to share the news.

"Actually, we found out it wasn't the takeout," Jay said, grinning.

Voight raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Then what was it?"

Erin took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm pregnant."

The room fell silent for a moment as the news sank in.

Then, smiles and congratulations erupted from all around.

"Oh my God, Erin! That's amazing! Congratulations!" Burgess exclaimed excitedly.

"Congrats, man! That's awesome news," Ruzek said, clapping Jay on the back.

"Looks like we're going to have a little one running around here soon," Atwater added, grinning.

"Congratulations, both of you. That's wonderful news," Voight said warmly.

Erin and Jay were surrounded by their colleagues, receiving hugs and pats on the back.

The atmosphere in the precinct was filled with joy and excitement for the couple.

"We're really excited. Thanks, everyone," Jay said, looking at Erin with eyes full of love.

"Yeah, thank you all. It means a lot,"

Erin added, smiling and feeling the support of her work family.

The unit was back to their tasks, but the excitement from the news still lingered in the air. Erin sat at her desk, trying to focus on some paperwork, while Jay stayed nearby, keeping an eye on her.

Suddenly, Erin's face paled again, and she quickly stood up.

"Oh no…" she muttered, rushing to the restroom. Jay followed her, concerned. The unit noticed and exchanged worried glances.

"Not again…" Burgess said.

Voight sighed. "Someone should check on her."

Jay reached the restroom just as Erin started vomiting again. He held her hair back and rubbed her back soothingly.

"It's okay, Erin. Just breathe," he said.

After a few moments, Erin straightened up, looking exhausted but relieved.

"I'm sorry, Jay. I thought I was over this," she said weakly.

Jay smiled gently. "It's okay. Morning sickness can be rough. Let's get you some water."

They walked back to the bullpen, where the unit was waiting with concerned expressions. Erin tried to smile reassuringly.

"I'm fine, really. Just morning sickness."

Voight nodded. "Take it easy, Lindsay. If you need to go home, don't hesitate."

"I'll be okay. Just need to take it slow," Erin replied, shaking her head.

Jay handed her a bottle of water and sat her down at her desk.

"Go have a lie down in the breakroom, I'll be in a bit, after I've finished my paperwork."

Erin shook her head, wanting to be as stubborn as possible.

"Er, you don't have to sleep, just put your legs up, I got a little headache, so I'll be in soon."

Erin sighed, knowing she had no choice.

"Fine…"

Erin stumbled into the breakroom and laid down on the couch.

After Awhile, Jay joined Erin in the breakroom, and sat next to her.

Erin smiled softly, and rubbed his back.

"Why don't we nap for a while, Hank won't mind."

Jay nodded and snuggled into her warm embrace, and Erin placed the blanket over them.

"I got you, baby and I also got our little bean in my tummy, nice and snug."

Jay laughed softly, and closed his eyes, settling into a nap.

Later, the unit gathered around, taking a short break. Erin walked over with a stack of leaflets in her hand, looking more energized than usual. She started handing them out to everyone.

"Hey guys, I found this private class on prenatal care. It covers everything from wrapping babies to changing diapers. Thought it might be useful," Erin said.

The unit took the leaflets, looking them over with interest. Jay stood beside Erin, smiling supportively.

"This looks great, Erin. Count me in," Atwater said.

"Me too. It's always good to be prepared," Burgess added.

Voight nodded. "Sounds like a good idea. I'm in."

Ruzek looked at the leaflet, a bit hesitant.

"I don't know… Do we really need this?"

Burgess nudged Ruzek with a grin.

"Come on, Adam. You could use some practice. Especially when I give birth to Emma."

Ruzek's eyes widened in surprise, and then he laughed, realizing she was right.

"Alright, alright. You got me. I'm in."

The unit laughed and agreed to attend the class together. Erin smiled, feeling the support and camaraderie of her team.

"Thanks, everyone. It means a lot," Erin said.

"Yeah, thanks, guys. This will be really helpful," Jay added.

Later, the unit was seated in a cozy classroom, ready for their prenatal care class. The advisor, a friendly woman in her 50s, stood at the front, explaining the basics of baby care. Ruzek, always the joker, couldn't resist making a comment.

"So, do we get a badge for diaper duty?" Ruzek grinned.

The advisor chuckled and walked over to Ruzek, handing him a baby doll and a diaper.

"How about you show us your skills, Officer Ruzek? The desk is all yours."

The unit burst into laughter as Ruzek stood up, looking slightly embarrassed but game for the challenge. He headed to the desk and started fumbling with the diaper, trying to figure it out.

"Come on, Adam, you can do it!" Burgess teased.

The rest of the unit took their seats, still chuckling. Erin and Jay sat next to each other, their legs touching under the table. Erin smiled at Jay, feeling his support.

"Look at those two, already acting like parents," Atwater whispered to Burgess.

"Yeah, they're going to be great at this," Burgess whispered back.

Ruzek finally managed to get the diaper on the baby doll, holding it up triumphantly.

"There, all done!" he exclaimed.

As the class went on. It was Erin and Jay's turn and the unit were cheering them on.

Erin and Jay tried to wrap the diaper around the fake baby, while being under pressure.

After 10 minutes. They managed to finish the diapers.

Erin and Jay sighed and high-five each other.

"DONE!"

The unit all cheered and smiled.

"Good Job! Now, you need to try and calm your baby down." The instructor explained.

Erin and Jay nodded and picked up their babies.

The babies started crying, and it was up to Erin and Jay to settle them down.

"Come on, little one. Settle down." Erin whispered.

Jay tried to soothe his baby, and the cries didn't stop.

"C'mon, buddy! Daddy's here!"

Erin squealed and held her silent baby.

"I did it! I really, really did it!"

The unit cheered and Jay looked at Erin.

"Show off…"

Erin smirked and kissed his cheek.

"Love you too, my baby."

Jay was going to reply, but then realised what Erin did.

"I saw what you did there.."

Erin laughed and hugged him.

"Alright! I think that's enough for today! There are other classes during the week! Feel free to come along!"The instructor offered.

The unit nodded and Erin and Jay smiled.

"Thank You! For all of this!"

The instructor nodded and got the equipment ready for her next class.

Erin and Jay walked out of the building with the unit and smiled.

"Thanks, for coming, guys!" Erin smiled.

Jay agreed, holding Erin close.

"Yeah, it meant a lot!" Jay agreed.

The unit all nodded, smiling.

"No "thank you" needed, we're all here for you!" Voight nodded.

The unit agreed, and smiled.

"Yeah, Night you two!" Atwater smiled.

Erin and Jay waved goodbye and walked towards their truck.
