The smell of conchas lingered through the air, and Stephanie perked up. Stephanie lifted her head from where she was sleeping, noticing she was in a large bakery empty of people, but she recognized the familiar smell. The smell of baked goods ranged from brazo gitano, buñuelo, and crema catalana.

"Wait, I recognize that smell!" Stephanie perked in realization. "Those smell like how my…" Her eyes widened in shock. "No… it can't be…"

"¡Hija!" a woman's voice called, catching Stephanie's attention as she glanced towards the bakery's backroom. "¡Se terminaron los productos horneados! ¡Ven a probar el sabor más nuevo que se nos ocurrió!"

"¡Bien!" Stephanie called back, instantly pushing her chair back, and headed towards the kitchen as fast as she could, opening the door to the back. She excitedly opened the door and entered the bakery's back room, where the oven and cooking—or magic—happened. The sudden smell of copper filled the air, and she gagged, covering her mouth with her hand.

To her horror, she saw two corpses lying on the ground, along with an unknown third with a robot standing on the kitchen counter in the center. When Stephanie entered the bakery's backroom, the robot perked and turned around on its heel, its movements automatic and synchronized, even stiff and slow.

The robot resembled an Engineer-bot, holding something on a plate in both hands with something on top of it. The robot stepped towards Stephanie, who was frozen and staring at the Engineer-bot, her eyes filled with fear and confusion.

"There you are, hijita," the Engineer-bot responded, holding the plate towards Stephanie. "Look at what the new flavor is!" On the plate was the head of the BLU Medic, his eyes blank of life and halfway rolled back. The silver platter was soaked from his blood, leaking from the surface and dripping on the floor. "The flavor of the BLU Medic."

Stephanie's hands were covered with blood as well when she lifted her hands, and her jaw was covered with blood as well, seeing bite marks across the BLU Medic's body behind the Engineer-bot, whose jaws were covered with blood with the BLU Medic's head on the silver platter.

Stephanie instantly woke up with a bolt from the ground, gasping deeply before coughing, realizing something was lodged within her chest. She coughed hard, feeling something rising from her chest. The lodged object rose higher and higher before soon hacking out something rectangular, which landed on the ground with a slight clatter covered with jet-black mucus.

But it did not stop there. Stephanie then gave out a sharp but loud blech, watching a puff of blue smoke with plus signs in it launch out of her mouth before disappearing. She gasped and slammed her metallic hand over her jaws, horror hitting her like a sledgehammer. She looked down at her stomach but perked up when she realized it looked smaller than before.

No… Stephanie instinctively clawed her fingers against her stomach, trying to get them through the plating that covered her chassis to feel something. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! This is not happening!

There was no movement, and she couldn't tell if she could feel the BLU Medic inside her stomach, a constantly active organ that can digest anything once swallowed. Stephanie scrambled up to her feet, placed her hands on the bump, and frantically began to pat, trying to get any movement or something that signaled her that the BLU Medic was alive. She went from softly patting to now pushing against the bump.

" Medic!" the recorded voice of the Engineer shouted as she frantically patted where the bump was. " Doc!" But there was no response to her worried sounds. Stephanie dug her fingers further into the metal plating, trying to pull them off, but she struggled, almost like they were permanently stuck to her body.

¡Por favor, quítate de encima! Stephanie shouted, trying to speak a single word— hers—but nothing came out of her mouth, only silent pleas. If she had tear ducts, she would have been crying as she dug her fingers into her metal plating and attempted to tear them off.

The BLU Medic slowly regained consciousness, the darkness around him giving way to a dim, eerie glow. His head throbbed, and he felt disoriented, his surroundings shifting and moving, and the walls kept closing in and out on him. As his vision cleared, he noticed a pool of melted metal around his waist gently sloshing. Panic surged through him as he tried to understand what was happening, as he gave a sharp gasp and pushed against the walls.

The stomach walls weren't metallic sheets but bunches of wires stuck together with stretchy webbing between them, allowing the organ to stretch. The BLU Medic realizes it is a mimic of the human organ, but there is a lining between the lines that shaped the organ, glowing purple and showing the inside.

He pushed against the stomach walls, his hands slipping on the slick surface. The realization that the melted metal came from his equipment—the Medi-Pack, syringe gun, and Ubersaw—only added to his distress. He felt the warm, non-clinging metal against his skin, but his mind raced with fear.

"Nein! This can't be happening!" he shouted, his voice echoing in the confined space. He frantically began to push against the stomach walls with his hands, panic overwhelming him. "You must let me out! I beg you!"

He pounded on the walls, his fists hitting the unyielding surface with growing desperation. The sensation of being inside the Engineer-bot's stomach was too much to bear, the claustrophobic environment amplifying his terror.

"Bitte, don't digest me! I am a doctor! I can help you!" he pleaded, his voice breaking. "Let me out! You don't have to do this!"

He continued to struggle, his movements becoming more frantic as the fear of being digested alive overwhelmed him. The thought of the Engineer-bot's stomach slowly breaking him down filled him with dread, and he fought against the rising panic. The metal around him could melt him down and burn through everything he is wearing quickly, further panicking at the thought.

"Listen to me, you mechanical monster! Let me out now!" He screamed, his voice raw with desperation. "I will do anything! Just let me out!"

Stephanie perked when she felt thrashing coming from her stomach, but then a sick feeling washed over her, causing her to emit an almost human-like gag as her eyes flashed green. She felt ill and sick, and the thought of the nightmare becoming real was becoming too much for her. Stephanie gagged again and removed her hands from her stomach, placing them on what felt like a wall, feeling the urge to vomit hit her.

The BLU Medic gave a startled shriek when the walls clenched around him, causing him to push against it as they clenched around him, hearing gags coming from the Engineer-bot. Nein, it can't possibly do this. The BLU Medic panicked. It'll crush me, not spit me out.

However, Stephanie continued to gag, dry heaving a few times, but nothing seemed to come out with each heaving. Stephanie thought she could heave harder but flinched when the building walls trembled. Confused, Stephanie walked over to the window and peered through, seeing Gray Mann's machines approaching the building.

Fuck, why won't they leave me alone?! Stephanie hissed, turning on her heel, and started running away. She made her way through the building, avoiding places where she could hear the robots coming and entering the building she was inside.

The BLU Medic felt the world around him lurch as the Engineer-bot began to move. He kept his mouth closed as the metal liquid sloshed around him, fearing swallowing the liquid accidentally. The sensation of being jostled and bounced within the tight confines of the stomach was disorienting, and his panic only grew as he heard the faint sounds of other machines echoing through the stomach's walls.

The sounds of machinery and movement outside the robot's body added a new layer of fear to his already dire situation. He pressed his ear against the stomach wall, trying to make out the sounds more clearly. The faint whirr and clank of approaching robots made his heart race.

Stephanie ran through the building, noticing she seemed faster than before. She ignored that thought about the change of her body and continued running. A map of the building appeared in her vision, showing dots of what looked like the robots entering the building and her running through the giant maze. Using the map, Stephanie turned sharp corners and avoided Gray Mann's robots, sometimes catching glimpses of them but managing to avoid them.

When she reached a room without robots, she perked up, noticing it was missing things like desks, computers, phones, books, and chairs. A picture of a memory popped into her mind, reminding her of seeing the room filled with desks and such. Did someone enter the building and clean out everything? Changing her mind about getting out of the building, Stephanie continued running through it before finding a large open exit missing its doors.

Huh, that could be the emergency exit door. Stephanie thought, seeing it was ripped out from its hinges. She pushed that thought to the side and stepped out of the building. However, several Scout-bots, Pyro-bots, and Soldier-bots noticed Stephanie and started charging her.

Stephanie panicked and picked up the speed, feeling her stomach gently clench to keep the BLU Medic from being tossed around. She became faster than the Scout-bots, who missed each bat swing or shot of their scatterguns. The BLU Medic froze as he felt the walls around him tighten, holding him securely in place as the Engineer-bot picked up speed. The sudden change in pace made him feel even more disoriented, and he tried to understand what was happening.

He strained to hear the sounds outside, the faint clanking and whirring of machines growing more distant as the Engineer-bot accelerated. The sensation of moving at such a high speed while securely held in place was surreal, adding to his bewilderment. The BLU Medic's mind raced to piece together the Engineer-bot's motivations. The tightening of the walls around him seemed almost protective as if the machine was trying to keep him safe during the rapid movements. This realization clashed with his previous assumptions about the robot's intentions, but he wasn't sure that the Engineer-bot would be protecting him.

Stephanie dodged multiple attacks and was blasted off to the side at one point by the Soldier-bots' rockets. She pulled herself upright from the ground and took a smack across the left arm from one of the Scout-bots. But Stephanie's armor protected herself and the BLU Medic from the multiple attacks, even punching one of them when they were close.

The fire from the Pyro-bots didn't affect Stephanie, but it heated her outer layer, and she continued running as fast as possible. The woods sped past Stephanie as she continued to run through the forest before screeching to a halt when she stumbled across a cliffside. Looking over her shoulder, Stephanie stepped back a little before speeding forward and then jumped.

Stephanie thought she wouldn't make it, but somehow, she landed perfectly on her feet on the other side. The other robots attempted to chase after her, missing the ledge or falling straight down. Stephanie ran, avoiding the Soldier-bots' missiles, the Medic-bot's syringes, and the Demoman-bot's bombs as she ran forward.

She didn't stop until she arrived at a small clearing, panting and huffing a few times before looking around, scanning for any robots heading in her direction. To her relief, there were no robots but two large bases hidden in the forest against a gigantic mountainside. Her vision continued to scan it, detecting that it was the bases for RED and BLU, which she perked after realizing she had arrived at a base.

Stephanie instantly headed towards the bases and the BLU base, knowing it was better to enter that section than the RED base. Seeing the door was unlocked, Stephanie carefully kneeled and gingerly squeezed through the door, struggling at first but managing to fit through. Once inside the BLU base, Stephanie snuck quietly through the base, noticing there wasn't anyone around since it was early at around five a.m.

A day passed as an Engineer-bot, and from swallowing the BLU Medic… That sickness she had been harboring returned to Stephanie, causing her to gag as she lifted a hand, covering her mouth. The BLU Medic perked up at the sound of the Engineer-bot gagging. The unmistakable sound of a gag, something he never expected from a robot, startled him.

The notion that the machine could make such a human-like sound further confused him, adding to the surreal nature of his situation. The BLU Medic's thoughts raced. He felt the walls around him contract and shift, the gagging sounds growing more frequent. His mind returned to his medical training, trying to understand the impossible.

As the gagging continued, he felt himself being jostled and squeezed, the tight confines of the Engineer-bot's stomach pressing against him. The sensation was terrifying and oddly reassuring, suggesting that the Engineer-bot might not be trying to harm him after all or was trying to do something.

Stephanie held her jaws together as she frantically glanced around, not wanting to puke all over the BLU base's floor. The next thing she wanted to see was a puddle of acid and the BLU Medic injured, all covered with her—another gag escaped from Stephanie's body as she rushed forward, not wanting to vomit right there, right now.

She saw a sign that read ' Washroom ' and headed straight for that section. She stepped into a larger white room with showers, but no one was inside. Good, good. Stephanie nodded, removing her hand, and grimaced after seeing jet-black gunk on her metallic palm. She flicked her hand, watching it splat all over the ground, leaving her hand dry without wetness.

Another gag escaped from her as she slumped forward, watching more jet-black gunk escape from her mouth. It strung from the inside of her mouth to the ground, acting like saliva. Okay, that's saliva! Stephanie thought before starting to heave, feeling everything within her body clenched around the BLU Medic, hearing a muffled shout of surprise coming from him.

The BLU Medic yelped in startlement as the walls around him suddenly clenched, squeezing him tightly. His initial fear was that the digestion process was becoming confusing as he felt himself being pushed upward with each gagging motion of the Engineer-bot.

The sensation of being forcefully moved upward was disorienting, and he couldn't help but brace himself against the shifting walls. The tight, almost rhythmic contractions pushed him through the stomach sphincter, and he entered another tube-like structure within the robot. The new tubing felt different; the walls were smooth and tight without the stomach's acidic environment.

Stephanie continued to gag, feeling something rising from her stomach and into what felt like her esophagus, feeling large and lodged. Saliva continued to dribble out of her mouth as the object continued to rise before entering her mouth, popping out slightly when she gagged.

Stephanie perked when she noticed she could feel the BLU Medic's chin with something in her mouth—double puzzling her of how she could feel and taste the BLU Medic even though she doesn't have a tongue or the ability to taste.

But Stephanie gagged, watching his head slip out from between her jaws and seeing the BLU Medic's head covered with saliva. The BLU Medic blinked in the bright light, his vision blurred, and his senses overwhelmed. The cool air against his face was refreshing, almost cooling down his warm skin.

She kneeled as she pushed out more of his body, everything within her body stretching to allow him to slip out. He landed front-first on the ground, and Stephanie placed a hand on his back, causing the BLU Medic to perk. Gripping the back of his clothes, Stephanie gently pulled the BLU Medic from her mouth, everything returning to normal once he was out.

The BLU Medic lay on the floor, his body weak and trembling, covered head to toe in the jet-black robot saliva. The sensation of finally being free from the Engineer-bot's insides was overwhelming. His vision blurred, and his senses were overloaded from the ordeal he had just endured.

His breath came in shallow gasps as he tried to gather his strength, but his body felt too drained, too exhausted to move. The memories of the tight, claustrophobic confinement, the surreal journey through the robot's innards, and the constant fear of digestion replayed in his mind, leaving him paralyzed with terror.

As he lay there, he sensed the Engineer-bot looming over him. His heart raced, and panic surged through him once more. He could feel its presence, its metallic weight pressing down on the atmosphere around him. The BLU Medic's mind raced with fear and the expectation of being attacked or killed on the spot.

"Bitte… don't," he whispered weakly, his voice barely audible. He could barely muster the strength to speak, let alone defend himself. "I don't want to die…"

His eyes darted around, looking for any sign of help or escape, but his vision was still too blurred to make out any details. The BLU Medic's body remained frozen, his muscles refusing to respond as the Engineer-bot's hand rested on his back. He could feel the gentle grip of the machine's hand, but his mind was too clouded with fear to comprehend its intentions.

Every instinct screamed at him to get up, run, and fight, but his body wouldn't cooperate. He lay there, vulnerable and helpless, waiting for whatever fate the Engineer-bot had in store for him. Stephanie's metallic heart was squeezed from his plea, and she released the BLU Medic's coat. Then she started inspecting his body to check for anything burned from acid.

Strangely, nothing was harmed as she looked around, but she noticed saliva dripping off his body. Strange… There's no acid but just a bunch of saliva. I thought my stomach had all the acid inside that could break down—Stephanie shook her head, stopped overthinking, and reached down with her hands toward him.

The BLU Medic braced himself, his entire body tensing as he anticipated the worst and weakly curled in himself. His mind raced with fear, expecting to be killed or swallowed back into the Engineer-bot's terrifying innards.

However, instead of an attack, he felt the gentle yet firm grip of the robot's hands lifting him from the ground underneath his armpits. He opened his eyes wider, blinking away the blurriness as he tried to understand what was happening. The Engineer-bot's touch was surprisingly careful, almost delicate, as it lifted him to his feet.

The BLU Medic was confused, his mind struggling to reconcile the previous terror with the current situation. As he was held up, he glanced down at his body, noticing the thick, black saliva dripping off him but no signs of acid burns or injuries. The realization that he wasn't harmed added to his confusion.

"Why… why are you helping me?" he managed to ask, his voice filled with bewilderment. Stephanie said nothing to the BLU Medic, knowing her predicament and her recorded voice. She gently removed the BLU Medic from the saliva puddle and placed him on a bench, lying on his side.

The BLU Medic was shivering from head to toe from the cold, yet his clothes weren't soaking wet from the saliva or the pool of melted metal in the Engineer-bot's stomach. Once out of the puddle, Stephanie was about to search for towels to remove the saliva when she heard a voice speak through the speakers, " An Engineer-bot has appeared! Destroy it before it builds a teleporter!"

After hearing the voice, Stephanie perked and glanced around before returning to the BLU Medic. Remembering sign language, she signed " Sorry" before scrambling out from the washroom. Hearing the mercenaries heading toward her, Stephanie made a sharp turn to the left and squeezed through a door, exiting from the BLU base and into the forest.

The BLU Medic lay on the bench, still trying to process what had happened as he lay on his side. The saliva from the Engineer-bot still clung to him, never soaking his clothes. Moments later, the BLU Soldier stormed into the washroom, his weapon ready, scanning for any signs of a teleporter or the robot.

"Where is that blasted Engineer-bot?" The BLU Soldier growled, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed the room. His expression softened with concern when he saw the BLU Medic lying on the bench. "Medic! What happened? Are you alright?"

The BLU Medic tried to sit up but found his body too weak to comply. "I… I'm fine, Soldier," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "Just… exhausted."

The BLU Soldier approached and lowered his weapon from aiming it. He noticed the thick, black saliva covering the BLU Medic and frowned as the BLU Medic weakly pushed himself up from the bench. His limbs were shaking, and his energy had been sapped, but he could somewhat move still.

"What in the hell is this stuff?" he asked, poking at the substance with the first finger of his right hand. The BLU Medic shook his head slowly, unable to answer coherently. The ordeal had drained him completely, and the overwhelming need to rest was taking over. The BLU Soldier's face showed a mix of confusion and concern.

"Alright, Medic, let's get you cleaned up and checked out," he said, gently helping the BLU Medic to his feet. "We'll figure out what happened later. Right now, you need to rest."

The BLU Medic nodded weakly, leaning on the BLU Soldier for support. As they exited the washroom, he felt gratitude for the BLU Soldier's assistance. Despite the confusion and the strange circumstances, he was relieved to be back with his team, even if he couldn't fully explain what had transpired.

The BLU Medic closed his eyes, allowing himself to be led away. He fell asleep, exhausted from his never-ending fear and from fighting against the Engineer-bot. The BLU Soldier's grip tightened slightly, ensuring the BLU Medic stayed upright.

"We'll get you patched up, Doc. Just hang in there," he said, his tone reassuring. The BLU Medic nodded again, letting the exhaustion finally pull him into a deep, much-needed sleep.
