Chapter 4: The Contest:
Diana's POV:
Wearing a mask, I made sure even my own Mother would not recognize me... which in this case, is something I really want.

The first test is a foot race. A trained deer sets the race.
Steve's POV:
"So, anyone want to place their bets," I asked.
"We do not gamble on Themyscira," says one of the Queens.
"What she said," says Princess Nubia. She then whispers to me. "I am betting on the masked one!"
Diana's POV:
I then ran past the deer.

Next is the test of strength and agility. Eventually, there were only two remaining, me and Euboea.
"Now, it is just between you two," says Mother, "the game that will decide it all is Bullets and Bracelets!"
"Wait, you have bullets here," asks Steve Trevor, "how does that work?"

We are each given a gun. The game is that we shoot at each other and block with our bracelets. Euboea shoots at me, but I block with my bracelets. I then shot at Euboea and being a skilled Amazon soldier, she was skilled, but I managed to shoot her soldier.

As Epione was tending to Euboea's wound...
"You are the winner," says Mother, "please show us your face!" I then sighed and removed my mask. Everyone was surprised.
"What," asks Nubia, "shock! Diana? I can't believe it!"
"Overdoing it," says Steve Trevor.
"You must keep your word," says Stepmother.
Mother then sighs. "Diana, my daughter, you will take Steve Trevor into Man's World!"
"Works for me," says Steve Trevor, "as much as I like being on an island full of beautiful women, I still have that mission, and I'd like to get away from the cannibal, the smelly one, and the easily distracted one!"
"Look at that sky!"
"That rock is about to hit you," says Mother.
Too late.
"See what I mean," says Steve Trevor.
"Come, Diana," says Mother.
