Chapter 5: Revolutionary War:

Diana's POV:

Mother took me to her room. She then showed me an interesting suit. "This was what I wore... when I traveled to Steve Trevor's homeland," says Mother.

"What," I asked, "you were in Man's World?"

"Not by choice," says Mother, "the Gods grew tired of my negative views on Man, so they sent me to America where they were fighting for freedom from the British!"

"And you wore this," I asked.

"Based on America's flag," says Mother, "designed by Betsy Ross! I fought a group of soldiers called Red Coats, helped George Washington's army, and even fell in love!"

"What was their name," I asked.

"His name was Experience Stalsworth," says Mother. "In fact, I based your appearance on him as my way of honoring him."

"Interesting name," I said, "does Step-Mother know about that?"

"Diana, when I was there, they gave me a name... Wonder Woman, but they kept me a secret! Except for Experience who wants people to know about my work. Some men did not want anyone to know how much help a woman was! Anyway, you must wear this suit and take the Lasso of Truth with you! You must become Wonder Woman!"

"I will honor your name, Mother," I said. I took a look at the suit. "There is just one thing!"

...

I had the suit altered. Steve and I walked to the now invisible jet.

"Stupid thing's stuck in cloak mode," says Steve, "and don't think you'll be able to fly it!"

Surprisingly, I can fly it! Steve was complaining.

To Be Continued

The suit looked classic, but then Diana had it look more like it did in the movie.
