Chapter 2: A True Sith vs. A Fallen Jedi

The force is truly meant to flow through every living being. Not simply just the ones who can wield it to their advantage. However, their purpose in the grand scheme of things isn't always for their gain. Life is full of tragedy as it is full of relative highs. Meaning, even if the force favors you to fulfill a certain purpose, positive or negative. You shall regardlessly end up fulfilling that purpose.

This has been the fate of many civilians. Caught up in the never ending wars of the galaxy. Many times, they arrive at a certain point where danger seems to be, only to fall towards their inevitable death. They are all equal in this, no matter their background. Especially on a planet that favors the rich and powerful.

Such was the case for a politician who was heading home from an opera show. His limospeeder was flying past the Senate building. A familiar sight to the man. He expected it to be a safe zone for his droid driver to fly past. What he did not expect was two force users flying towards his vehicle.

They crashed on top of it. Briefly knocking it off course before the droid regained the correct speed and altitude. The horrified Senator looked up at the cracked glass ceiling that the two had landed on. And watched as the younger of the two managed to bring his feet up underneath the horrifyingly looking old man. Then, kicked him off the limospeeder and sent him flying.

Only for the old man to simply reverse the direction of which he was flying. Sending himself back towards the limo. This time moving so fast that the younger man didn't have time to try and force push him away. All he knew to do was to rely on his instincts. Which he did by moving back slightly and positioning his lightsaber to his lower right.

These instincts served him well as the old man swung his lightsaber low as well. Thus starting to cut the speeder in half. Their lightsabers connected briefly before the weight gave out from beneath them. The old man laughed and spun upwards, the young man fell through towards the ground, but eventually pulled a small droid manned cargo speeder towards him. Landing with grace at the top of it.

Meanwhile, the poor hapless Senator plugged towards his death. The last thing he saw before closing his eyes and accepting the inevitable. Was a look of horror on the younger man. As the Senator was moving too fast for Anakin to concentrate enough to save him. All he could do was watch on.

"You bastard!" Anakin shouted at the Sith Lord.

Who then proceeded to laugh as he fell towards the fallen Jedi. Only for him to start spinning with his lightsaber. His attack was so fast, that all Anakin could do was deflect and parry to the side. As Palpatine yet again cut the vehicle he had been standing on in half. Yet again, sending them falling.

Anakin quickly had to glide his way over to another vehicle. He managed to grab onto a nearby four seater speeder. The impact nearly ripped his arm off, but the former Jedi still had the will to fight on. Especially if it meant finally killing the man who had brought him so much pain. When Anakin pulled himself up to the top of the speeder, he was greeted by the surprised looks from a family of four.

The husband, wife, and two children were too stunned and focused on making sure that the speeder didn't crash. To even think about helping the young man to probable safety. Anakin had to deactivate his lightsaber so as to not accidentally cause a hole in the side of it. And once he climbed fully onto the top, he was met by two sights.

One was the older brother of the two kids recognizing him.

"Wow! Are you General Skywalker!?" The boy shouted.

The other three all did a double take on the young man as well to confirm that it was indeed him. To which Anakin simply responded:

"Yes, but please do keep your voice down. I don't want you to draw attention."

The father then looked intently at him.

"Attention from what?" He asked.

Off in the distance, was the second sight Anakin was met with when he had climbed on. It was Sidious landing gracefully on another speeder. Ripping the top off and tossing the driver out with the force. Unlike Anakin, his lightsaber remained on. Though, doing all of this, caused the Chancellor to have to slow down and focus in order to locate Anakin.

Palpatine was getting tired from the combat. He was immensely powerful with the force, though he still needed to slow down every once in a while. It is this sight that gave Anakin an idea, but first. He must get the innocent out of the way.

"I'm battling the true leader of the Separatists, and if you want to live. Then you must forget that you ever saw me, and drive as far from here as possible. Do you understand?"

He said with a commanding tone. The man didn't even need to use the force on the father or other family members. Simply him standing up, his robe and clothing blowing in the wind. Made him the perfect image of the hero the family had all seen him as. They took his message to heart, especially the mother.

"Understood." She said, then turned to her husband. "Angel, please do as he says."

"No need to tell me twice." The husband responded.

The family was about to take off when Anakin walked to the back of the speeder. While he did this the two kids looked at him with wide eyes. Anakin looked back at them and cracked a slight smile. They reminded him of not only himself, but of his future child as well. The child he was fighting for, to help bring a brighter future too.

He wouldn't mind having a second child either. Though the odds of having twins were low. Though, wasn't he the one who said to 'never tell him the odds'? Anything was possible, the future isn't set in stone. Now, it was time to smash that stone.

"Kick the bad guy's butt!" The little sister told him.

"Yeah, go get him!" The brother added on.

The parents told their children to be quiet. Though, Anakin appreciated them and gave a slight two fingered salute. Before he turned around and force jumped a long way to the shadowy figure in the distance. The last thing the kids saw of the fallen Jedi was him deflecting force lightning with his lightsaber.

Then, their parents turned the corner of a building. They all could just barely hear the sound of blades clashing. Though it was drowned out by the overwhelming noise of cars. If only they could witness the fight that was happening.

It was quite the sight to see. An old man moving so fast that he could block the knocked back lightning and his combatant all in one swift stroke. The young and jaded soon to be father desperately trying to use just his physical strength to overwhelm his foe. Which seemed to work at first, only for Palpatine to use the force to simply pick Anakin up and throw him upwards.

All without even having to lift a finger. Anakin flew through the air and landed on another speeder. He didn't use the force to cushion his fall. If his plan was to work, he couldn't use it too much. Thankfully, the impact wasn't that bad. Simply a small slam on to the top of the speeder.

Anakin groaned and then fell through the roof as the driver opened it to see what was going on. Only for the young man to fall into the back seat. The driver was naturally surprised by this and drove the vehicle off the lanes so it would not crash with any others. All while looking behind him and screaming obscenities at Anakin.

"What the Hell!? What were you doing landing on my speeder like that? Did you fall or something?" The man shouted.

Anakin got up and focused. He looked at the man who was focusing more on flying the speeder than on him. Though once he was out of the way of traffic. The man turned to face Anakin, revealing a dark skinned, skinny, slim jawed young man. Though more likely in his late twenties or early thirties.

His brown hair once groomed and straight, was now blown back and out of control. It was clear that this man put a lot of pride into his looks. Though, what good was that when people come flying through the roof of your speeder. Ruining your vehicle with seemingly no care.

"You better tell me what's going on!" The man demanded, pointing a finger into Anakin's face.

Anakin groaned in frustration and pain.

"I don't have time to explain. Just drive this thing to the top of the nearest building." He responded.

"And why should I do that?" The man responded.

"Because I'm General Skywalker! One of the heads of the Jedi Order! And I'm currently fighting the true leader of the Separatists! Now drive this damn thing!"

"Alright, I didn't expect that to be what came out of your mouth. Though, tell me, how am I supposed to believe that you. A random person out of the billions on this planet. Are you the legendary General Skywalker and that you're fighting the true leader of the Separatists!?"

Anakin would've retorted with a simple jest about how they were about to die if they didn't move. Though he didn't have time for that when another speeder hit their side. The two went spinning and tumbling around in the vehicle. Thankfully, the man had closed the roof window so they weren't going to fall out. And it took Anakin's force powers and the man's quick piloting skill to bring the speeder under control.

"What the Hell was that!?" The Man shouted.

"That was my opponent. And he's going to hit us with another one if we don't….MOVE!"

Anakin then used the force to push the ignition and send the car forward. As a full on shipping speeder the size of a small building was sent flying at them. Then crashed into a nearby building with a massive explosion. Anakin managed to get them out of the way just in time. On top of that, the man driving the car started to fully get the idea of what was going on.

"Alright, you convinced me! Which building do you want me to drop you off on?" The man tried to say in a confident tone, but he more or less sounded scared.

"Any building! It doesn't matter, just drive!" Anakin insisted.

The man drove to a nearby skyscraper. It had a lot of power and generator boxes spread about it. Which is something Anakin needed if his plan was to work. On the way there, speeders and lightning were being fired at the fallen Jedi and his fellow driver all the while. Though to the driver's credit, he managed to keep the speeder steady despite his cries of terror.

Once they reached the rooftop, Anakin jumped out.

"Drive as far from this place as you possibly can." He told the man.

"I will, you can count on...wait, it's not-AH!" The speeder then started to get crushed with the man inside.

Without thinking Anakin ripped a good chunk of the speeder with the force. Giving the man a chance to fall out and onto the rooftop. Where he nearly fell off the edge. Though Anakin managed to catch him and pull him up. Eventually when the man got up to solid ground, he clung on to Anakin. Shivering at how he nearly died twice in only five seconds.

"Hey, hey, snap out of it!" Anakin commanded him.

The man slowly calmed down. To which Anakin then helped him stand up.

"I never got your name. What is it?" Anakin asked.

"Oh…yeah, I'm Grando."

"Alright, Grando, here's the plan. You take cover and stay there until you know it's safe. Then run for the hills and never look back. I'll handle the rest."

"Okay," Grando nodded. "Thank you, Master Jedi."

As Grando ran for the nearest thing to hide behind. Anakin lamented on those words. He wasn't a Jedi anymore, not after what he had done. Though he was still fighting the Sith and saving lives. He was still the hero of the republic. However, can one horrible deed truly be overlooked?

No, this was Anakin's sin to bear. And he would continue to carry it no matter the burden. Even if after this he managed to survive and the Jedi would lock him away. If Padme left him after the things he had done. If the Republic would condemn him as a criminal. He would accept the consequences if it meant a future where the innocent will live. Where the war can finally end.

And his children won't have to live in the shadow of their father's horrible deeds.

"What good is a Jedi if they don't save the innocent?" Crackled the monstrous voice of Palpatine.

He was floating up on the speeder he was standing on. While carrying a transport full of the citizens of Corrosaunt. All screaming in terror at their situation. Anakin was horrified at the length Palpatine was willing to go to put him down. Though what else was to be expected from a Sith lord?

"The answer is a foolish one. Who couldn't see the future and understand that many must die. To bring order to the galaxy."

Palpatine laughed over the people's screams. Though Anakin remained calm and stared the Chancellor down. Eventually realizing what he must do if he wanted the citizen to live. He pulled out his lightsaber and offered it up to the Sith.

"Please, don't kill them. All you want is me."

"Oh, how wrong you are, Skywalker. I don't simply want you to die. I want you to suffer. For failing to realize your potential and wasting my time."

Anakin would've given a comeback about not being sorry. Though he wanted to be careful as to not enrage the Sith lord even further. And cause him to send the helpless citizens to their doom. Though, there was nothing he could really do about it. He was completely at Palpatine's mercy.

"Is that all you think about? Gaining power, torturing and killing your enemies. Witnessing the galaxy burn because of the fire you started. That's all that you wish to do? No other means to an end? Simply evil for evil sake?"

Anakin asked, in a vain attempt to delay the inevitable.

"Of course." Palpatine responded, with a smile. "Questioning Sith logic is like asking a predator to cease his culling of the weak. I exist for one reason and one reason only. To rule as the strongest and most powerful being to ever exist.

I gave you a chance to be by my side as part of this inevitable future. Yet you refused because you simply lacked the foresight to fully see this. Nor could you let go of the vain hope to save your wife. You are a failure, Anakin, a failure not just before the Sith, but before the Jedi as well."

Anakin took this dressing down with a straight face. He had to keep it together, not only for his own mental fortitude. It was also to hopefully calm the civilians as well. Even though Palpatine was one-hundred percent correct.

"Now, enough of this stalling. Time for you to return to the darkness in which you crawled out of. Any final words?"

Palpatine raised the transport higher. About to bring it down on top of Anakin. He could easily dodge it, but then the people in it would die. If he tried to stop it with the force. Anakin would be open to an attack from the Sith lord. What else was there left to do but to accept the inevitable.

So, Anakin nodded in response to Palpatine's question. His last word:

"Now!" He shouted.

A blaster bolt then streaked across the air. Striking Palpatine in the shoulder. The old man cried in pain and briefly lost control of the two speeders. Though he quickly recomposed himself, giving him enough time to sense where the blast had come from. Then quickly starting to strangle the foolish civilian nearby. For it was Grando who fired at him.

Though, that left him open for Anakin's attack. As he threw his lightsaber at the Sith. To which Palpatine had to dodge by leaning back. Just barely falling off his speeder as the spinning lightsaber just nearly grazed his already horribly mutilated face. This caused Palpatine to let go of not only Grando.

He also let go of the transport. The civilians screamed again as the transport nearly fell upon Palpatine. Though it was soon stopped and then thrown off into the distance. However, it was done gently, to give the on board computer enough time to regain control and drive off into the distance.

"Skywalker!" Palpatine shouted.

Quickly, the Sith stood up and even reached out to pull Anakin's own lightsaber to him. Catching and igniting it, then pulling out his own and using it as well. Anakin gave the more than angry Sith a lord a devious smile. Mocking Darth Sidious by not even saying anything at all.

Palpatine didn't respond either. He simply charged with both lightsabers, coming at Anakin with great speed. Though at this point, the young man was used to it. All Anakin needed to do was rely on his own force instincts. As he dodged each and every lightsaber swing that Palpatine tried to land on him.

Relying on his own physical strength and future seeing abilities. In order to tire the old man out. It was a long shot, but it was the only tactic that Anakin could see himself beating Darth Sidious with. As to face him head on would be to face years worth of strength and force training.

Combined into a deceptively strong old man. Who waved the force around as if it was second nature to him. Things that even the most trained of Jedi had trouble with. So, Anakin kept on dodging. Barely having his limbs cut off multiple times.

He did manage to match Palpatine's speed with his own focus. However, it wouldn't be long before the Sith backed him into a corner. To the edge of the building where there was nowhere left to run. However, right before Palpatine could land the killing blow. Anakin then went on the attack and kicked the older man.

With his use of his own physical strength and force abilities. He sent Palpatine flying, then stumbling to the ground. Even losing Anakin's lightsaber. The Sith lord was impressed by this amount of cunning. Though more set on slaughtering the foolish fallen Jedi who dared to oppose him.

"What's wrong, old man? Can't you keep up with someone forty years your junior?" Anakin asked, mockingly.

"No, but I'm sure even you can't dodge this."

Palpatine then shot force lightning at Anakin. To which Anakin just barely got out of the way of. He wasn't using any physical force abilities, meaning that he was being burned by every blast of lighting that grazed him. However, with his use of future sight. He was able to predict the Sith lord's movements.

While also making sure to not have the fight get close to where Grando had been knocked out. He had already risked life and limb by not only driving Anakin up to the rooftop, but also helping out with distracting Palpatine. It took some convincing as well.

A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE

While Anakin was staring down the Chancellor. He was also telepathically telling Grando to help out.

'Grando!' He practically screamed into his mind.

"Anakin? What?" He asked out loud.

'Yes, it's me. Keep quiet, I'm speaking to you in your mind. Now listen, I know you're nearby. Do you see what's going on?'

Grando peaked over the power box that was his hiding place. As it seemed that the staircase door was locked. So he made the best of what he had. When he looked over the power box, he saw a dark robbed man holding up a transport with the force. His face was that of a monster, and what was even more horrifying was that he recognized the dark figure.

"Yes, is that…the chancellor?"

'Unfortunately, yes, he's the true evil behind everything. And I need you to shoot at him.'

There was a brief silence between the two as Anakin waited for a response. Though the silence was Grando's response, as he didn't know what to say. The Chancellor seemed so powerful that he could end Grando's life with a single thought. Why would he ever want to try and get his attention?

'I know you're carrying a blaster. I saw it at your waist when I met you in the speeder. All I need you to do is shoot at him, that's it. If you don't do this. People will die.'

Grando swallowed nervously, but drew his weapon and aimed it at the Chancellor.

"Tell me when."

BACK TO PRESENT TIME

It was heroic actions like that gave Anakin faith in winning this battle. That the force was on his side. He could win this fight. Especially with Palpatine injured at the shoulder and only relying on one arm for his lightsaber. Meaning that despite being incredibly dangerous, Palpatine was becoming weaker.

Anakin ducked and dodged behind cover with each lightning blast. Some bolts did manage to burn him here and there, though he still kept up his evasion. At first he thought that maybe this was all Palpatine could do. That maybe he could locate his lightsaber and move in on the Sith lord.

Then, Darth Sidious appeared right in front of Anakin. Using force speed to catch up with him. Palpatine swiped at him with his lightsaber, where he managed to graze Anakin's right leg. The young man cried, but then quickly dodged using force speed. As he knew that Palpatine was preparing to use force lightning.

However, Palpatine had been planning on that. And caught up with him like he did before. Soon, the two were moving faster than the human eye could track. All that could be seen by the confused Grando who was just waking up. Was the a blurry view of bodies and lightning streaking through the air.

The overuse of the force put a massive strain on both of the combatants. As soon they were both tiring, Palpatine even tripped to the ground. Though he quickly recovered and spun himself right into Anakin. Knocking him towards the edge. Where the Sith lord pursued him and began to slash at the fallen Jedi with his lightsaber.

Though Anakin managed to catch his arm just in time with the red lightsaber just a few inches from his face. Palpatine then used this opportunity to try and force lightning right into Anakin's gut, but Anakin knew this would happen and used his own strength of his robotic hand.

To grab the Sith lord's hand and break it. The Chancellor's face went from a confident, hideous, maniacal smile. Into pure shock from the pain, as he screamed and pulled back slightly. Giving Anakin a chance to push the old man off of him. Though the young man wasn't in good shape either.

The constant over force use had worn him out. Not to mention his wounds and burns gathered from the force lighting. As well as Palpatine's lightsaber hitting his leg. It all gathered together to throw him off his balance. Meaning he was in no position to try and get out of the way of Palpatine's inevitable counter attack.

The Sith lord seemed unstoppable, as despite the great physical pain. He quickly used the force to snap his hand back into position. Palpatine then grabbed his lightsaber with both hands. Then leaned into a spinning strike, that while slower due to the pain he was feeling. Would definitely be enough to finally finish off Anakin.

That was, until Grando shouted from behind the Chancellor.

"Anakin! Catch!"

The man had awoken and found the fallen Jedi's lightsaber. Then threw it to Anakin. Palptine was too slow and dedicated to his strike to cut the lightsaber in the air. So it flew right past him and was grabbed by Anakin, who ignited it just into time to block Palpatine's blade. The two stared at each other with gritted teeth, as they desperately tried to over power each other with their own raw strength.

"Why!? Why can't I kill you!?" The Sith lord shouted.

"Because I'm going to become your greatest failure, Master Sidious! The last mistake you'll ever make in your futile attempt to rule the galaxy!" Anakin shouted back.

This enraged Palpatine, so he pressed Anakin to the point where he was barely standing on the edge. Anakin might have had the physical strength, but Palpatine still had force power to spare.

"You've certainly achieved as much, Anakin. Though soon you will fall to your death. And I will not only kill this troublesome civilian behind me. I'll see to it that even the people you saved will die. Then, after that, Padme will soon be my prisoner. My slave, who will birth me a new apprentice that I can fully morph into the greatest Sith of all.

My greatest failure will soon become my greatest accomplishment. I'll make sure that the past dies. In this case, I'll kill it with my own hands. Now, die, Skywalker. So that way a more productive Skywalker can take your place!"

Those words sent shivers down even Grando's spine. Though, Anakin simply smiled, as he realized he was now used to Sidious's horrific threats. They had lost their once piercing sting. Now, all they did was give the fallen Jedi an idea.

"Fine." He said calmly. "Let the past die."

Anakin loosened his robotic hand's grip on his blade. Only for him to grab Palpatine not only at his robes, but also at his skin.

"Both of our pasts shall die." He said, as he pulled Palpatine along with him as he fell off the edge.

Grando went wide eyed as he watched the two fall off. He quickly ran to the edge to see if either of them had managed to grab on to something. Though the smog and bright lights from the commercial district made it hard for the man to see. The only thing he could make out was the glow of their lightsabers still clashing as they fell.

Until, they too disappeared into the light below. As Grando remained on the rooftop, Palpatine still tried to strike at Anakin as they fell. Though the fallen Jedi was calm as can be. Not trying to attack his opponent in the slightest, only parrying when the time came.

Because he understood that gravity would do the work for him. Though, that changed when Palpatine decided to trust in his force abilities rather than the chance of something saving him. He turned to Anakin one last time.

"When you hit the ground, Skywalker. I'll laugh at the mangled corpse of yours that could've been my apprentice."

Sidious then began to nose dive quickly towards the ground. Anakin caught on to what the Sith lord was about to do. So, now, he had to find his own way of slowing down. Less Palpatine managed to survive and he wouldn't be there to stop him. His solution was to slow himself down as best he could with the force.

Then, with his robotic hand. Grab onto the side of the building and hopefully bring himself to a speed where he could land on the ground safely. His plan worked as best as it could. It was clearly halfway through that if Anakin wanted to keep his hand for the continuing fight. He needed to quickly launch himself off the side of the building and hope there was a passing speeder to land on.

He didn't find that, but instead found an open concrete park marketplace with plenty of stands. And with how much slower he was falling compared to last time. It resulted in him having enough force energy to slow his dissent again. Then bounce off the roof of one of the stands and land on the ground.

The stunned people around him were in awe of Anakin's landing. And with his lightsaber still ignited, the citizens knew he was a Jedi. Meaning they all nearly swarmed to him after he landed. Forcing him to disengage his blade for their safety.

"Go, Jedi, a monster has landed in the middle street!" One person shouted.

"It's trying to kill us all!" Another cried, this one running away.

It didn't take a genius to figure out who this monster was. So he quickly told the civilians:

"Run, I'll handle this."

He then ran towards where everyone was fleeing from. Where he found a crater formed in the street and in the center was Palpatine. Struggling to stand from the massive amount of force power he needed to pull off this landing. It seemed to have done its job of killing any immediate onlookers, because he was covered in blood. Along with the ground surrounding him.

As the old man struggled to move, Anakin couldn't help, but laugh. It was not only because of how weak the Sith lord appeared to be. Anakin was tired and probably just as weak as him. Though his plan had still worked, Anakin could put up a fight. Where Palpatine looked like he could barely move.

Anakin's laughter caught Sidious's attention. Though the Sith lord didn't say anything, all he did was ignite his lightsaber. Then slowly made his way up the side of the crater. Anakin then looked down at the old man, tripping on the rocks and struggling to maintain his balance. He snickered, as he lured Palpatine in, making him think that he had lowered his defenses.

"Your great strategy was to use all your remaining force energy. Palpatine, you disappoint me. I thought you were strong enough to face the likes of Master Yoda. Yet here you are, losing to me."

Palpatine made it close to where Anakin was standing. Then rose his blade.

"You don't know the power of the Dark Side." The Sith Lord responded.

Sidious swung his blade at Anakin, who quickly dodged it. Only to witness a lightning strike shoot from the blade and hit a nearby civilian who was still evacuating. Palpatine laughed, as Anakin quickly ignited his lightsaber. Then went to block the next strike from the Sith lord. Only to be electrocuted when the blades collided.

Anakin was forced to pull away before he suffered the same fate as Master Windu. Though he knew that now that he was in a tight position. Attacking Palpatine head on would only result in him being electrocuted. Though dodging his attacks could result in innocent people dying. Darth Sidious took in Anakin's struggling state with a grin, and then gathered more force lightning into his lightsaber.

Palpatine continued to push Anakin back, getting closer to the crowd of people trying to run away. Yet were piled up due to the panic setting in and the overpopulation. Anakin was running out of time and out of options. Even in a severely weakened state, Palpatine was still a beast of a force user. Meanwhile, Anakin didn't have too many tricks up his sleeve.

The younger man thought this might be it. That was until he saw a family nearby, a mother and her two children huddling close together. With the lightning just barely missing them. It was here that Anakin knew he had to make some sort of stand and if he died while doing it. At least he would die a hero.

"I sense great fear in you, Anakin. It's this fear that gives me strength. My anger makes me powerful and leads me to victory against the Jedi. It's a shame that you're not truly one of them."

Palpatine said, raising his lightsaber above his head. About to strike with a vertical slash from his lightsaber. That if dodged by Anakin, would fire directly into the crowd. So, Anakin quickly went to block it. As their blades met over their heads, Anakin grunted in pain as he felt the lightning shoot up and down his body.

Sidious laughed in his face.

"Yes! Suffer, Skywalker! SUFFER!"

Yet, while his skull could be seen between the strikes of lightning, Anakin still smiled. Then he pushed the blade to the side, then down in a circular motion. Pulled away just a bit from the red lightning blade. Then, brought his own blue lightsaber upward. For those watching, it happened within a flash of a second. Yet, when it was over, they watched as Palpatine's red lightsaber went flying.

Along with two wrinkled old hands as well.

A weakened Anakin, who now barely had the strength to stand. Caught Palpatine's lightsaber and ignited it. Then, as the Sith lord realized what had happened. He fell to his knees, and let out a cry of pain that shook the very foundation of the force. A shriek that almost every being who felt the force within them could hear.

From the Jedis in the temple, Padme in her home, Obi-Wan on Utapau, to even Yoda on Kashyyyk. Everyone could hear what felt like the impossible. The final Sith had been beaten, the galaxy had been saved. Then, the last thing that the force users heard, that sent shivers down the spines of some. While others wanted to cheer, all because of the familiar voice that spoke afterwards.

"Now, where have I seen this before?"

Oof, that took a while. I'm sorry for such a long dry spell. August is my birthday month, so I've been all over the place. More focused on relaxing then trying to get any actual work done. Either way, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter.

Expect a bit of a flip flop between stories. My next focus will be on the next chapter of Record That. I need a break from this one to plan out what happens going forward. For years I knew that Anakin would barely be able to win against Palpatine/Sidious. Though, that doesn't mean the Sith Lord would die.

Spoilers, I guess, but there would really be no story if the main antagonist were to die in chapter 2. Anyway, see you later. May the force be with you. Oh, and I almost forgot.
