I just felt like doing this because why not.Even though I think they'd be best friends,I let my intrusive thoughts win.

"Luigi!What fate shall thy choose?!Shall you decide to take a truth potion and answer a simple question truthfully? Or shall you choose to do whatever I say no matter how bad or embarrassing it is?",Mario asked,like it was the most important decision in Luigi's life."You could've just said " Truth or dare ",you don't have to make it sound so whimsical,"Luigi explained,sounding kinda stuffy.

"But what's the fun in that?," he moaned like a kid,Luigi rolled his eyes."So are you gonna pick truth or dare?,"Daisy reminded,she was sitting on the other side of the coffee table on a purple cushion."You know what? I'mma choose dare!,"Luigi answered.

"Ooh,feeling brave today are we?Well you might regret that decision!," Mario said with a devilish grin.

"Now,I dare you to dress up like Peach,the whole outfit!Not just her dress!And go outside for at least hour !,"he added.

"Is that it?Well I'm going to put a mask on so if somebody walks by I don't cough on them and get them sick,"he was surprised that Mario gave him such an easy dare.So after 10 minutes he had Peach's outfit on,even the high heels and crown.

He came down stairs and took a face mask he had on the couch.Mario looked up at him."Woow bro!You look exactly like Princess Peach!If you didn't have a moustache then I totally would've thought you were her!,"Mario exclaimed.

"Why thank you!Now if you need me I'll be outside,"Luigi said while putting the mask on.He twisted the knob of the door then pulled it and shut the door behind him.

"And now we wait."

"Ludwig,are you sure it's a good idea to try and kidnap Princess Peach without any of the clown cars in the afternoon?When the Mushroom Kingdom is wide awake?,"Bowser Jr asked his brother.They were off Bowser's territory in the Fungo Forest.They were going to kidnap the princess with their own free will and bring her back to Bowser.

"Of course I'm sure!And,if the books I read were correct and we do this within an hour,we won't be caught.It's also a Friday and that's the busiest day of the week for her and her subjects! She'll be too focused on her work that it'll be a breeze!You see? I actually plan this stuff,unlike the rest of you!And don't get me started on-!"

Bowser Jr placed his hand over Ludwig's mouth and pointed infront of them,his facial expression a mix between shock and what seemed to be horror.Ludwig followed Jr's finger and saw what he believed was Princess Peach,sitting on a large,light grey rock with moss on it and watching the stream that ran by the Mario brothers' house.

They scooted over to some bushes and dove into them,making as little noise as possible."I thought you said that she'd be at the castle!," Bowser Jr whispered,"I thought so too!Why is she out here?Why is she not in the castle?! It's supposed to be the busiest day of the week!Why is she out here?!,"Ludwig whispered back, questioning all the hours of planning and researching he did last night.

A moment of silence past,only the stream could heard with the occasional chirping of what sounded like a bird and the gubble of the Cheep Cheep.It was starting to get dark,the beautiful sun with it's rays looked like a fiery flower in the distance,ready to hide it's beauty for the winter,and blossom again in the spring.

Bowser Jr finally said something when only half of the sun could be seen."Ludwig,give me the rope!," he commanded quietly."Why?,"he asked as he pulled a bundle of rope out of the bag and gave it to Jr

"You'll see in a second,just need to untangle this rope first!,"and so he untangled the rope.

Junior very silently and very quickly dashed behind "Peach",but he stepped on a twig,this caught her attention and she gazed at where the twig broke to see Bowser Jr staring right back at her,looking dumbfounded.

She stood up,ready to run if needed,and waited for his next move,a glint of terror in her baby blue eyes. Bowser Jr also waited for her next move.The sun was already down,though that didn't mean that they couldn't see,many firebugs lit the area,some fire flowers were there as well.There was dead silence again,even the stream had seem to quiet down a little.

Ludwig was getting tired of this and so waved his wand and *poof!* he was behind Luigi in some bushes.

"Leviticus!,"he flicked his wand at Peach and off the ground she went,but only a few inches.He lowered the wand a little,Peach followed whether she liked it or not.She yelped then stayed silent.

"Seriously Ludwig?I don't need help!,"Junior exclaimed,looking at his brother very unamused."I'm saving you the trouble!That,and I don't want you to tackle her,like last time!,"he replied kinda bitterly.Bowser Junior rolled his eyes at him.

He got closer to Peach and started tying her up.She tried and struggled to get out of the spell,but she couldn't."Lasciatemi andare,tiranni appuntiti!,"Ludwig heard her say,which was surprising."Was that... italian?,"he asked,taken aback.

"Ye-,"she said,kinda muffled because of the mask,before Bowser came in the Koopa Clown Car and cut her off."There you two boys are!'ve been worried sick about you!Are you guys hurt?,"he put the Clown Car into auto pilot mode and hopped out of it.

"No, we're absolutely fine.And!We got Mama Peach tied up!,"Bowser Jr reassured, finishing off the knot he had made,a bowline to be exact.Bowser sighed in relief.

He walked towards Jr and gave him head pats,"Good job!Just put her in the back of the Clown Car.Call if you need help,alright?,"he commanded.Bowser Jr did what he was told and put Peach in the back of the Clown Car.He then waited patiently for the other two.

A moment of silence passed before Bowser broke it."So...You want head pats too?"Ludwig didn't even look up at him before saying "No,"flatly."A hug from your old man,perhaps?,"he asked again, getting on one knee and stretching out his arms.Ludwig looked at him,squealed,and ran up to him, smiling.The two hugged like father and son,well because they were but not biologically.

Peach saw this and thought it was absolutely adorable.Bowser Jr was so tired from the day that he was sleeping on her lap."Awwwww!"

When the two broke the hug,they got into the Clown Car and flew back to the castle.

"How long has it been?,"Daisy asked,very bored with her arms folded and her head resting on them on the coffee table.Mario was in the kitchen getting himself a snack to eat,a packet of chips he chose. He looked up at the clock in the kitchen,it was shaped like a mushroom and displayed the time 8 pm.

"When did luigi start the dare again?,"he asked back."5 o'clock, I'm pretty sure,"she answered."Then he's been outside for...3 hours!,"he exclaimed very shocked."I better call him in before he yells at me for not doing that!,"he added,putting the chips down and heading to the door.

He turned the knob and pulled the door open."Hey Luigi!You can come in-,"he didn't see his brother anywhere with first glance,"Now?"He tried looking harder to see if his brother was just playing tricks on him.He couldn't find him.

He walked outside and searched everywhere,in trees,on overgrown fungi,heck even under large rocks.

He still couldn't find him.Now he was starting to panic,he ran inside and slammed the door behind him.Daisy looked at him.

"What's the matter? Where's Luigi?,"she asked."I couldn't find him outside!," he was panicking like a toad when Bowser was in sight.

"Mario,calm down!,"she said,getting up to comfort Mario."He could've just went into the house without us realizing it,"she continued.

"Or someone could've taken him into the woods a-and harmed him!Or even worse,killed him!I gotta see if he has an extra life!I just gotta see if he's alright!I just gotta!,"he ran out the front door,but Daisy picked him up like he was a cat.

"METTIMI GIÚ!LET ME GO!,"he shouted, squirming in Daisy's arms.She walked over to the couch and plopped he onto it before sitting down herself.She sighed before grabbing Mario's shoulder and looking deeply into his eyes with her own deep blue ones.

"Mario, I'm sure that Luigi isn't dead and he hasn't been badly injured, that's for sure.So let's search the house first,if he's not here,then we'll go into the forest together!And we don't split up because the woods can be dangerous at night,but don't worry about Luigi in the forest alone,he can hold up on his own, he's proven that he can multiple times!,"she explained,"But I need you to calm down first so that you can think clearly, alright?,"she continued.

Mario nodded.He took a deep breath in and a deep breath out."Alrighty, let's a go!"

And so they rummaged in every room for him twice!Even in the attic where he wouldn't even be in at 10 o'clock at night,but hey, you'll find something in the place you expect the least or however that saying goes.Still couldn't find him.

"Well,we didn't find him in the house so we're gonna have to go into the forest and look for him,"Daisy said.They were both in Luigi's room.Mario was staring at Luigi's clothes that were folded neatly on his bed.This wasn't out of the ordinary for Luigi because he acted like he had OCD all the time.

Maybe he does have OCD?I should get him checked for it next time we're at E.Gadd's.Wait,is he an actual doctor or just a scientist?I should ask him that.

Daisy noticed that Mario was quiet for a while now,and that he was staring at Luigi's clothes."Mario,you okay there?,"she shook his shoulder gently,that got him out of his thoughts.He jumped back, startled he put his hands up in self defense."Oh!Sorry,reflexes,"he apologized,rubbing the back of his neck.

"What did you say?,"he asked but didn't let her answer,"Oh!Yeah I'm a-okay!,"he said,putting his hands on his hips."You sure?,"Daisy asked."Yep!Now let's continue on looking for Luigi!,"he said as he bolted down stairs.

Bowser, Junior,Ludwig and Luigi,dressed like Peach,finally got to the castle after 20 minutes,though it felt like forever for Luigi.Bowser,holding Junior in his arms as he slept like a baby,and Ludwig got out of the clown car,seeming to forget Luigi.But no,Ludwig lifted his wand and Luigi followed.

Not this again!Ludwig brought his wand more towards him,and Luigi was now floating right behind them,forced to go where they went.

They walked down the hallway until they reached the stairs.Ludwig lowered Luigi down onto the floor and took his brother from his father before he started up the stairs." 'Night Ludwig!,"he boomed,"Good night King Papa!,"he countered,and that was the last he heard from Ludwig that night.

Bowser looked back at Luigi.He trembled like a river reed when Bowser got closer to him.Luigi tried to get as much distance between him and Bowseras possible,but Bowser grabbed him before he could do anything though.

Bowser carried "Peach" bridal style.Luigi didn't know what got over him,but he rested his head on Bowser's shoulder,blinking dazzily until he fell asleep.His shoulder surprisingly warm and soft,even if it was quite scaly.

Bowser carried her to a room in a tower upstairs.The bed in the middle of the room was made of oak,it had a pink cover on it with the letter P in the middle in blue surrounded by a white circle.The pillows were white and had a phoenix plushie sit upon them.The bedside table had a peculiar and green lamp on it,as long as a diary, a pack of pens and pencils and a notebook that had a couples doodles in it already.

There was a writing desk to the left of the bed,it looked like the ones in libraries with a lamp that was the same as the one on the bedside table.A grey dustbin overflowing with scruched up papers sat under the desk,and a black chair that spun right next to it.

A red rug spread across the room was as soft as a Lakitu's cloud.The window was to the right of the bed,it had a potted piranha plant sitting on the ledge.A chandelier hung from the centre of the room that was made of pure gold.The bathroom was right next to the writing desk,the door was also made of wood,though it was made of black walnut wood.

The knob twisted a little,then the door was pushed forward to unveil the one that wanted to come in, the king of the Koopas himself,King Bowser Koopa the fifth.He moseyed to the bed and gently put down "Peach".He tucked her in and kissed her on the forehead,being care not to wake her up.He pulled down her mask so she could breathe properly,but to his surprise he found a large bulbous nose and a moustache right underneath it.

It was...Luigi!The brother of his enemy,Mario!A little steam came out of his notrils.What was Luigi doing dressed up like the one he loves right outside Mario's house?! Suddenly,Luigi started coughing,a very dry cough indeed.Bowser put one his thumbs gently on Luigi's head,for a Koopa it would've been the perfect temperature,but for a human, that's what you call a fever.

Though it wasn't that bad,Bowser still felt worried (yes the guy can worry, he's not heartless y'know!) "Oh you poor thing!,"he cooed, rubbing Luigi's cheek.Luigi responded by putting one hand on the back of Bowser's hand and the other on his wrist.Though surprised,Bowser gave a small smile.

He accidentally fell asleep before waking up an hour later,his hand still on Luigi's cheek and his head on his arm like it was a pillow.He tried to gently take his hand back,but Luigi wouldn't let go so he slept there the whole night,while Mario panicked with Daisy trying to comfort him.

I started this on the 15th of December and ended it on the 20th while it took me two months to write my first fanfic on this website.Times really have changed.Have a Merry Christmas,or Buon Natale as they say in Italian,and have a Happy New Year!Make 2024 one of your best years of your life and I'll see you all then with new stories,chapters and fun!
