7th night since Link's return to Termina. 9pm. 2 nights until the carnival of time.
Link was on guard duty atop of the little tower he built at the entrance of the ranch keeping an eye out for the one Gorman brother who got away. Tatl and Tael were hovering next to him. They kept quiet as they were getting tired. Cremia: Link! Link turned around and looked down to face Cremia. Cremia: You know you don't have to keep guard every night! That last Gorman brother won't be bothering us after what happened to his brother and those 2 guards. The house is finally done and so is your room! Why don't you come check it out? Link followed Cremia back to the newly completed house. Link followed Cremia up the stairs and down the new hallway. She opened the door and lifted her left arm up pointing towards the room. Cremia: Here you go, Link! Romani walked up behind the 2 of them and said: Why does Grasshopper get his own room? Kafie and Anju share one, I have to share one with my sister and he gets his own room? Link looked sad for a moment then noticed Cremia was looking at him as if trying to figure him out. Link smiled and nodded at Cremia. She replied: You're welcome Link! Now get some sleep! Romani: I have to talk to Grasshopper about something first! Cremia: Young lady, you should be asleep already! I'm sure whatever it is can wait until later...The 2 of them walked down the hallway as Link slowly walked up and closed the door. Tael: Are you alright Link? You look sad. Tatl: It's just your imagination brother. Link put his green hat on the table and got into bed. Tatl and Tael landed on his green hat and got comfortable.
Link started having nightmares of his Goron form beating him half to death. Link was stirring in his bed and had the cold sweats. All of a sudden he was woken up by Romani pushing him hard. Romani: Grasshopper! Wake up! Don't you remember what happens on this night! Link gasped and got up then followed Romani outside of the new house. Link grabbed his bow and arrows and hid on one side of the house as Romani grabbed her bow and arrows and hid on the other side. Link could tell by the darkness it was just after 2am. Link and Romani both gripped their bows tight as they waited for the aliens to appear. The door opened and Romani jumped. Link walked towards the front door. Cremia: What are you 2 doing out here in the middle of the night?! Romani: But sis! The aliens! Cremia: Not this again! I thought you had grown up and got over this little fantasy you have about ghosts! And Link! You're old enough to know ghosts aren't real! I acknowledged you as an adult last year even though you were only 13! Now I'm second guessing my opinion on you! Now both of you, get back inside! Link and Romani slowly walked back into the house. Link was sitting on his bed looking out the window wondering why they didn't appear this time. He also couldn't stop thinking about how Cremia basically shouted at him and also said she's second guessing him as an adult. He lay back down in bed thinking about that time Cremia hugged him and then the time she held him when he first came back. Link wished he was his 17 year old self again.
The next morning, Cremia, Romani, Kafie, Anju and Link were all at the table having breakfast. Their close by neighbor Grog had brought over several eggs in exchange for some milk. He had always kept to himself and his cucco's as Link remembered. He also remembered his doppleganger from the lost woods back when Link was a teenager. He disappeared after he gave Link the magic mushrooms and was never seen again...Anju: So I wonder what's going to happen with the Carnival of time this year with the guards still under the control of the 4 new rulers. Kafie: Well with there only being 9 guards left and Link having his items and weapons back, I think we should go to clock town and take it back! Link looked over at Kafie. Tatl: Are you nuts? We can't take on 9 guards with just you and Link! Kafie: We might not have to. Cremia: What do you mean? Kafie: We will need you with us Cremia. Cremia: Wha...why? Link looked over at Cremia and saw how much interest she showed for Kafie. Anju looked over at Link and could tell something was off about him. Anju thought to herself:...Does this little guy have feelings for Cremia? But he's so young...Kafie: The guards in clock town are looking for me now and their definitely still looking for Link but they aren't looking for Cremia! I say when we make another delivery to town with some milk, we set up a trap. You hide me and Link in your milk wagon. Once we've made it into town, you go tell the guards you've spotted someone in town with a weapon. Tatl: Once they come running, we ambush them...Kafie: Exactly! Cremia: Good plan and all but there's still 9 of them. Isn't that going to be too much for the 2 of you? Kafie: It won't be easy...but with the element of surprise, I think we can pull it off. Link looked up at Tatl and nodded. Tatl: Hrmmm pretty good plan but it needs a finishing touch. Link has his ocarina back now and I'm pretty sure he has a song that can take care of this situation! They all agree on the plan and start preparing for their trip later that night.
