Hello Friends! How about something a bit more light hearted? Addie and Smoker are best buds and they grew up together. If you remember back in Tarnished Addie and Ace went to visit an old lady on Sabaody which was Smoker's mom. So at some point in the future Addie goes to visit him in the East Blue and screw around with him (you can take that to mean whatever it is you like). Anyways here are two idiots with history being idiots.

I have no idea if I will ever be able to flesh out Addie and Smoker's dynamic but I always imagine if Addie wrote a song about him it would be like Taylor Swift's "Back to December". There is no bad blood between them beyond being on opposite sides of justice so it's a rather interesting dynamic.

East Blue

"You know you still have a full pardon waiting for you right?" Smoker said around his obnoxious cigars.

I smirked. "Of course I do. What rank are they offering me now?"

"Vice Admiral."

"Oh wow it went up one whole rank. Am I supposed to be honored?" I asked with an eye roll.

"You're supposed to be a Marine. You were always-"

"Oh lay off Smokey. We both know I was never cut out to be a Marine."

"A shitty Marine is still better than a pirate."

"Yeah well I never really had much of a choice there either did I?"

"So why don't you take the pardon?"

"Doesn't sound like fun to be honest. Why would I waste my time doing what Sengoku wants when I can run around with my friends making music?"

He sighed and shook his head. "Why did you even come here Ariadne? You know I can't just let you leave."

"Well obviously because I missed you so much. And your mom wants you to visit more."

"When the hell did you speak to my mother?"

"A while ago to be honest. But she was complaining about how no one from our class goes to visit her anymore. So I figured I'd pass the message along. You are her only blood child after all, kind of makes visiting her your responsibility."

"I'm too busy for social calls."

"Right, busy being the troll protecting the world from all the scary East Blue pirates."

"Is there a reason you're still here?"

"I told you Smokey. I missed you!"

"The feeling isn't mutual so get the fuck out before I kill you."

"You can't! I'm only wanted alive remember?"

"Didn't say anything about turning you in for your bounty."

"As if you could, even if you wanted to. I remember the absolutely massive crush you had on me back in the day."

"You're delusional."

"No I don't think I am. I think I would remember the dashing young Marine apprentice that stole my first kiss."

"You kissed me."

"Eh, same difference."

"Leave."

"Oh come on Smokey. Don't you wanna try kissing me this time? I am all grown up now after all."

"You're a pirate, and you're older than me."

"By 4 months. But come on, live a little."

"It's wrong."

"I'm not hearing you say no."

"Maybe that's because I'm not."

"Captain Smoker, what would your men say if they heard this kind of talk? It almost sounds like you're interested in me."

"I don't gossip with my subordinates, and besides, they would never believe me even if I told them. Now is this happening or not? Seems like you're the one dragging their feet now."

"Well alright then!"
