A/N: So much like the title says, this is a compilation of the various one shots I've written for the r/Symphogear discord's monthly writing prompts. So I figured that I'd be a good idea to also share these stories with and AO3 instead of letting them vanish in the chat logs of the discord.

With that out of the way, here's the first one shot I created for April 2021's prompts. (If I'm being honest, I'm considering revisiting this and making it a full story later on down the line. So stay tuned for that.)

Freaky Fridess

I don't know how I fell asleep, but considering that I'm currently in S.O.N.G.'s medical wing, It must've been while I was here on base. I'm not sure why I ended up here, but maybe it has something to do with this huge headache I'm having. Come to think of it, most of today is a blur for me. I can remember waking up next to my Sunshine as I always did, saying hello to Master, saying hello to the others, getting hit by Chris-chan when I go to hug her, the usual routine I'm used to. But for some reason, I feel like Elfnein-chan needed me for something today too.

That's going to bother me now until I go to see her. Knowing how hard she works for everyone, I'm sure there's still time to stop by her lab and see what she needed. I mean, it's only 11:30 P.M. so I'm sure she'd...

"It's already 11:30 P.M.?!"

That's not good! Knowing her, Miku's probably worried sick that I'm not home yet! Okay, calm down Hibiki. It's alright. Everything's fine. She probably just thinks I lost track of time or that something came up that I needed to take care of. But I really shouldn't keep her waiting longer than I already have. I'll just stop by Elfnein-chan's lab real quick and be on my way back to Miku. Easy! I just gotta get out of this hospital gown and back into my- Huh? Why are Kirika-chan's clothes in here? No matter, I'll just return them to her when I see her again tomorrow. Besides, herself and Shirabe-chan have probably already went home for the day.

I feel bad about having to borrow Kirika-chan's clothes without her knowing though... If anything, I hope she at least has my clothes or had a spare change of clothes for herself. Why did that happen though, I wonder. It seems next to impossible to mix up people's clothes like that.

I'll worry about that later. First things first, I'll check in with Elfnein-chan, say goodnight to Master and anyone else that's still on the ship on my way out, and get back to my Sunshine.

"Elfnein-chan? Are you busy?"

Strange... She's usually really good at answering the door.

"Elfnein-chan?"

Still nothing. She probably fell asleep while working again. I'll just come back tomorrow then. After all, she does deserve the rest for everything she's done for S.O.N.G. Come to think of it, other than the staff that leave for the night, it seems very quiet. Quieter than normal... Maybe I'm overthinking it. I'll just stop by the command center and let Master know I'm okay and finally head home to Miku.

"Sorry if I worried anyone! I'm all better now!"

"That's a relief. I'm glad you're feeling better Hibiki-k-"

"Is something wrong, Master?"

"Hibiki-san?"

"Yes? Did something happen?"

That explains why Elfnein-chan didn't answer when I knocked on her door, she was in here talking with Master. But why do they both look confused to see me, let alone confused as to who I am?

"Is it because I'm wearing Kirika-chan's clothes? I'm sorry! I noticed how late it was and Kirika-chan's clothes were the only thing I could find because I need to hurry back to Miku before she starts to worry about me!"

"It's just as I feared..."

"Huh? Did I do something wrong? I'm really really sorry!"

"No no, you're fine Hibiki-san, for the most part..."

"What does that mean?"

"DESS?! Is that me?!"

"Kirika-chan? Is everything oka-"

Were my eyes messing with me, or did I just hear Kirika-chan's voice come out of my body? Scratch that. Did I just see another me?!

"Master? Elfnein-chan? What's going on? Why is there another me?"

Elfnein-chan and Master didn't say anything at first. They looked to each other and nodded before Elfnein-chan started explaining.

"Do you remember anything from earlier today, Hibiki-san?"

"Other than my usual morning routine, no. Though I feel like there was something you wanted to ask me, but I'm not quite sure."

"Then this is going to be a lot to take in. I did ask you and the other Symphogear wielders for help with something I was working on. However, something went wrong with the machine and it would seem that there were some, to be blunt, unforeseen results."

"What does that mean, dess?"

"It means, well, it'll be easier to show you."

Elfnein-chan pulls out a handheld mirror and shows it to myself and the other me that sounded like Kirika-chan. But when I looked into the mirror, I didn't see myself wearing Kirika-chan's clothes, I saw Kirika-chan wearing Kirika-chan's clothes.

"It would seem that, as a result, you two switched bodies."

I may not have been in my body, but I could tell what we were both feeling. Kirika-chan and I both looked to one another, then back to the mirror, then back to one another again and we could tell, this wasn't a dream.

"Deeessss?!"

"Whaaat?!"
