Ben and Darius
The two boys stood in between the two monsters as they looked at them frantically.
"There's two of them...?" Darius questioned shakily as the Scorpious' roared and growled menacingly.
Ben and Darius both yelp as the two dinosaurs seemed to be sizing them up as they circled them.
Then both creatures roared and lunged forward, the two boys ducked for cover.
However the two animals did not lunge for them, they instead opted to go after eachother.
The boys were both confused and scared at this point, but instincts made them dodge the huge stomps of the Scorpious Rexes' as they fought.
As the two dinosaurs fought relentlessly Ben and Darius made a break for the limo.
"Come on!" Darius shouted.
As they both got inside Darius unnecessarily buckles his seat belt.
"Reflex." He explained to Ben who deadpanned in response.
Before anything else can be said one of the hybrids' tail smacked into the vehicle causing them both to yelp.
Ben then puts his seat belt on as well just in case.
As the two beasts fought they eventually flipped the limo over and trashed it.
They then decided to flea the scene because they both had taken too much damage and needed to recuperate.
Fortunately the two boys were still okay and strapped in, thanks to the seat belts ofcourse.
Ben notices Kenji's captain hat on the dashboard.
"Huh, Kenji forgot his hat." Ben commented as they breathed heavily.
Yacth
The group had to sail away from the docks because of the dino threat they had seen.
Yasmina, Kenji, and Ali all stood in the control room as they looked at the island.
Sammy and Brooklynn had been standing on deck.
Kenji then realized something as he gasped.
"Aw man, I left my captain's hat in the limo." Kenji groaned.
"Uh Kenji, I think we have slightly bigger problems." Yasmina stated.
"Such as our friends still being on the island, we have to go get them." Ali stated urgently.
"I-I know, I get it just got distracted a bit is all." Kenji explained.
"So what's the plan, G?" Kenji questioned.
"We're going back, we're not leaving them behind, even if the Scorpious is there, we have to get them and they have to be alive, I just know they are." Ali stated determinedly.
Yasmina and Kenji both nodded as Kenji drove the boat back to the docks.
Ben and Darius
The boys had been left in the trashed limousine as it leaned against a tree.
After some well placed strikes Ben gets the door open as they began exiting the vehicle.
"How are there two of that thing!?" Ben shouted as they began descending down from the tree.
"My working theory is that, since all of the dinosaurs have other animals DNAs built into their genetic codes, like tree frogs, some of which can reproduce asexually-" Ben cuts Darius' explanation off.
"I meant that more as a rhetorical complaint...but thanks, the only thing more terrifying than one psycho dinosaur is two that can make more of themselves whenever they want." Ben ranted as he went all the way down to the base of the tree.
Darius still stood atop the branch he was on.
"You're right, no dinosaur...or kid crazy enough to stay on this island stands a chance on this island if the Scorpiouses keeps replicating." Darius informed Ben as he got to the floor.
"We have to do something fast." Darius said as they began divising a plan.
"They don't seem to get along too well." Ben began.
"Maybe they'll just take eachother out?" He then suggested.
Darius thought it over for a second before shaking his head.
"We can't count on that, I'm gonna stop them, once and for all." He declared as he faced Ben.
Ben smiled brightly as he walked up to him.
"So, how are we gonna do it? With explosions?" Ben questioned with the excitement of a maniac.
Darius chuckled slightly. "No, first we need to disable them somehow, uh, knock them out, maybe? And to do that...we gotta go back to where it all began." Darius said as he began walking forward, leaving Ben confused.
"And...is there a part B to that idea?" Ben questioned as he ran after Darius.
"Like maybe...blow something up?" Ben questioned as they walked side by side.
Darius simply sighed and gave no response.
Yacth
The others were in the process of docking the boat.
Kenji cuts the engine as they made sure they were anchored.
They all met up on deck, as Ali quickly took notice of how down Brooklynn was looking.
"Hey Brook, you alright?" He questioned.
The pinkette almost jumped at his voice.
"Oh, um yea, I'm good." She said with a weak smile, which quickly reverted back to a frown.
Ali sighed, he knew she was probably the most worried for Darius and Ben right now, especially Darius.
Heck they all were, but it clearly took a huge toll on the superstar.
The others made their way down to the docks as Ali stood on deck.
'Darius...Ben...you guys better be okay.' He mentally stated as he moved to join the others.
As they all got to the top of the island entrance they watched intently for any sign of the Scorpious.
There seemed to be no sign of it.
"Alright guys the coast is clear." Ali said as they all visibly relaxed.
Suddenly a large spiked tail swung in front of them as they all yelled out and ran back a bit.
They then turned to realize it was only a Stegosaurus.
The group took a second to regain their breaths.
"No Scorpious." Brooklynn said as Sammy walked ahead.
"Yet." Yasmina added in.
"Please don't count on it." Ali deadpanned.
"Guys!" Sammy shouted as the others ran ahead minus Kenji and Ali.
"What is it? Describe it with words!" Kenji shouted.
Ali sighed and grabbed him by the back of his shirt causing Kenji to yelp.
"Get up you weirdo." He said as he shoved him forward and began following the girls.
"Fine, but if we get mutilated don't blame me." Kenji said as Ali rolled his eyes.
"Would you guys hurry up!" Sammy shouted as they began running.
The three girls stood in front of the destroyed limo that Darius and Ben had just left.
"Oh no, Darius and Ben..." Brooklynn trailed off, her voice trembling.
Kenji and Ali make it onto the scene as they both looked shocked.
"They can't be..." Sammy trailed off as well.
"There's no way they could've survived a run in with that thin-" Yasmina was cutoff by Ali.
"They made it out! These are definitely Darius and Ben sized footprints." Ali stated as he knelt down to a dirt path.
He then stands up as he faced the direction the footprints led too.
"I know they're alive, we have to find them." He said as he walked forward.
The others stared at his back with different expressions, it was all a whirlwind of emotions at this point.
Ben and Darius
The two boys were running through the jungle frantically.
Darius had put Kenji's captain hat on.
They heard roars coming from the distance.
"You think they're coming this way?" Ben questioned.
"Given our luck..." Darius trailed off.
"Right, let's move faster." Ben urged as they sped up.
Suddenly they started hearing loud earth shaking stomps which stopped them in their tracks.
"Ack! Run!" Darius shouted frantically.
"Where?" Ben shouted in response.
"I don't know!" Darius responded as they noticed a herd of Brachiosauruses stampeding towards them.
Both boys yelped as they quickly tried to run and escape the giant saurapod stampede.
The dinosaurs easily closed the gap between them as Ben was forced to dodge a foot causing him to roll to the side which ultimately led him to safety.
Darius on the other hand had tripped right in the way of a Brachiosaurus.
Kenji's hat had fell off in the process.
However that was the least of Darius' worries right now as he was about to be turned into a pancake.
Darius lets out a scream as the foot was about to trample him, luckily Ben pulled him out of harms way just in time as the herd pressed forward.
The two boys let out frantic breaths as they tried to relax.
They watched as the last of the herd cleared out.
The Others
They were still trailing their friends as they searched for clues.
"More footprints, over here!" Sammy beckoned them over.
As they came upon the scene they all gasped slightly.
It was mayhem, everything seemed to be trampled and a couple trees were knocked down.
They then began inspecting the area.
Ali steps into a large herbivorous footprint as he knelt in it.
"There was a stampede, from the looks of it, Brachiosauruses." Ali informed the others.
"Well that explains the destruction, I love those guys but they really are too big for their own good." Yasmina stated.
"That doesn't matter right now, we're looking for Ben and Darius, remember? That's just dinosaurs doing dinosaur stuff." Kenji dismissed them as he walked forward.
"Kenji, dinos don't just stampede for no reason, obviously something caused this and I have a really good feeling what it was." Ali informed him.
Sammy gasps as they all turned to her swiftly.
"What is it Sammy?" Brooklynn questioned.
"They destroyed the trees they like to eat, that something Ali was talking about spooked em' real bad." Sammy said urgently.
"It's that damn Scorpious, Wu really-" Ali was cutoff by a loud growl which caused them all to get on the defensive and come together.
Ali readies his fists just incase as Kenji picked up a branch.
"I swear, if that's the Scorpious Rex, I'm gonna hate you forever Barlett." Kenji said through gritted teeth.
"Won't being anything to hate if we're all Scorpious food, Kon." Ali retorted.
The three girls shush them loudly as they listen to the sound.
The growling sound had turned into a whimper, and not just any whimper, the whimper of a baby Brachiosaurus.
The group visibly relaxed as they noticed it was not a threat.
"Aww." The girls all cooed simultaneously as Sammy ran towards the baby dino.
"Sammy, please don't touch-" Kenji cuts himself off as Sammy began petting the baby.
"Hi there, I'm not gonna hurt ya." She reassured it.
"You can put the stick down now tough guy." Ali deadpanned at Kenji as he groaned and dropped the branch.
"Okay, can we please get back on tr-" Kenji once again cuts himself off as before he knew it, Yasmina and Brooklynn and ran over and began petting the baby dino as well.
"Wow, never thought I'd see Yasmina being a girly girl." Ali commented with a smirk, earning him a deadpan from the trackstar.
"Ugh, guys in and out, remember?" Kenji questioned.
"Huh, Kenji being the mature one today? What is this some typa alternate universe?" Ali questioned as he walked over to Brachiosaurus as well.
"Not helping, fearless leader." Kenji said through gritted teeth.
"Kenji sweetheart, she's lookin for her herd." Sammy said in a baby voice as Kenji's resolve began faltering.
"S-So what? Why should we care what happens to the dinos?" Kenji questioned with no remorse.
"Because...because life, it's worth protecting, the Scorpious was never meant to be out in the wild, Dr. Wu knew that when he froze it." Brooklynn stated as she walked up to Kenji.
"Ha! You've been hanging out with Ali too much, obvi the Scorpious thing is bad, but it's not our responsibility, Wu and the freaks who made that thing should've thought before they gene spliced a bunch of rando lizards together." Kenji ranted as he flailed his arms.
"As the only ones who know about this, we are obligated to help stop this madness, yea Wu and his team are greedy bags of trash, but we're just as trashy if not more so if we just sit back and do nothing Kenj." Ali stated firmly as Kenji looked down slightly.
"What about Darius and Ben, huh? That should be our main focus right now, and then finally we escape this nightmare island!" Kenji shouted as the Brachiosaurus roared in distress.
"Kenji!" Sammy reprimanded as he sighed.
They all looked at the baby as it relentlessly tried to cry out for it's mother.
"We have to do something..." Ali said urgently.
Kenji sighed exasperatedly. "I can't believe I'm doing this." He muttered.
He then howls into the wind trying to imitate a Brachiosaurus cry.
The others smiled at him. "Come on girls, he can't do it alone." Ali said as he cupped his hands to his mouth and began imitating a Brachiosaurus cry as well.
The girls joined in as well, after a few cries they hear an authentic one in the distance as a Brachiosaurus began approaching them.
They cheered as the Brachiosaurus came into view.
The baby ran forward towards it's mother as they nuzzled eachother.
The two then turned and began walking into the forest.
The group smiled at their good deed.
"That felt..." Yasmina trailed off.
"Good?" Ali questioned as he bumped her with a smile, which she returned.
"I can't believe we did that..." Brooklynn said in a hushed tone.
Sammy hugs Kenji tightly as he blushed slightly.
"You're such a hero Kenj." Sammy said as she let go and began cheering.
"She thinks I'm a hero..." He muttered as he watched her celebrate.
Ali then rested his arm on Kenji's shoulder.
"Not bad, Kon, you do have a heart after all." Ali said as they smiled at eachother.
"Thanks, Barlett." Kenji stated as he crossed his arms.
"Now let's go find our friends." Ali said.
"Wait!" Yasmina shouted as she gained their attention.
She kneeled down and picked up Kenji's hat.
"What the hell? What's this doing here?" She questioned as she presents it to them.
"Woah! My captain's hat." Kenji stated as she tossed it to him.
"Darius and Ben must've brought it here." Yasmina deducted.
"This is good, it means we're on the right track guys, come on, they're still out there." Ali said as he looked at them all, he was happy to notice Brooklynn had relaxed a bit.
"More footprints!" Yasmina shouted as they ran over to her.
She then gasps as she noticed a theropod footprint as well.
"The guys must be tracking the Scorpious." Yasmina stated.
"Or...the Scorpious is tracking them." Sammy countered.
That comment felt as if Brooklynn had been stabbed, her eyes widended and she visibly tensed again.
Ali quickly took notice as he mentally cursed Sammy's intuitiveness.
There was no time for reassurance however, they had to get to Darius and Ben begore the Scorpious did.
Ben and Darius
The two boys had made their way to the original Jurassic Park vistor's center.
They decided to be careful just incase they ran into danger.
"Hopefully we're the only vistors at the visitor's center today." Darius said as they slid down the hill.
"Don't worry, Compies won't bother with us, we have a history." Ben reassured him.
"I meant the raptor." Was Darius' cryptic response.
Ben's eyes widened for a second. "Ahh, okay." He said in realization.
The two then walk a bit until Darius notices what he was looking for.
"There!" He shouted as he recognized the tranquilizer gun from before on the floor.
"Right where we left it." He said thankfully.
"Tranq gun, solid plan." Ben remarked.
"Well let's hope it works-ahh!" Both boys let out shreaks as they suddenly heard a growl and trees rustling.
Ben picks the gun up and aims at the direction the noise was coming from.
"Woah! We are not dinosaurs! I repeat, we are not dinosaurs!" Yelled the voice of Ali as the other's emerged from the bush.
After realization struck both sides they laughed joyously and ran to eachother.
Brooklynn was the first to reach Darius as she latched onto him with a strong embrace.
"I-I was so worried for you." She said her voice trembling a bit.
"I'm sorry about that Brook-woah!" Darius is cutoff as the rest of the grouo joins the hug.
"I'm so happy we found you!" Sammy shouted.
"It's good to see you guys are okay." Ali said as they held the embrace for a while.
The all-star was also happy because Brooklynn had finally relaxed all the way now that Darius and Ben were proven safe.
"What are you guys doing here? We thought you left?" Darius questioned.
"What? No way in hell." Kenji said with a small frown.
"You know none of us were willing to sail away from this island knowing you guys were still here." Ali said as he crossed his arms.
"Camp Fam for life! We were not about to leave you guys behind, we just had to get away from that stupid Scorpious." Kenji added in.
"Yea, we saw them up close and personal-" Ali cuts Darius off.
"I'm sorry, did you say, them." He repeated.
"Yup, there's two of them." Ben revealed as the others groaned.
"You've got to be kidding me." Ali said with a deadpan.
The group then started muttering incoherently at the news.
"Uh, some animals reproduce asexually and I think..." Darius trails off as he notices Ben's frown.
"Right, it doesn't matter, what does matter is that unless we take them out, they're gonna destroy everything and everyone." Darius urged them.
"I don't wanna be on this island a second longer than I have to be." Kenji began as he put his arms on his hips.
The group looked solemnly at this response.
"But uh, it's like I always say, life is worth protecting." Kenji finished as everyone instantly lit up.
"I knew you'd get it right eventually." Ali said as they highfived.
"Ow! Dude, this is the wrong hand for that hard of a highfive." Ali said with a frown.
"Sorry, sorry, I just had to take my chance to harm you without you being able to do it back." Kenji said with a shrug.
"I still have a working left arm-ack!" Ali is cutoff as Brooklynn pinches his ear, and does the same to Kenji.
"Will you two idiots be quiet and focus!" Brooklynn shouted.
"Yes ma'am." They replied simultaneously before she lets them go.
Kenji and Ali mutter something about abuse and whatnot before listening to Darius' plan.
"Okay then, let's go find some Scorpious Rexes." Darius said with a smirk as he picked up the gun.
Before they can move, a liquid drops onto Darius from atop the tree he was standing under.
Darius whimpered as they all looked up into the tree to notice the menacing gaze of the Scorpious Rex as it growled.
"Speak of the Devil and he shall come..." Ali said as they all stood in fear.
The hybrid then swipes at Darius, luckily he jumps out of the way with a yelp.
The camp fam quickly fled the scene as the Scorpious roared angrily.
It accidentally trips on a flipped over van as it began attacking the vehicle rather than going after the kids.
They make it all the way to the visitor's center as they quickly went inside and shut the doors.
Their breaths were ragged and frantic as they tried to relax.
Darius looked saddened, he had the gun but didn't shoot it.
"I honestly forgot I had it, sorry." He apologized.
"Don't worry, we'll get another chance." Brooklynn reassured him.
"I have a feeling we're forgetting something here." Ali said randomly.
"What?" Kenji questioned, but before anything else can be said a small group of Compies ran through the group's legs causing them to gasp.
They then noticed loud stomping and the shadow of the Scorpious Rex right ahead of them.
The beast growled lowly as the kids all stood in fear.
"It's the other one..." Darius stated as it came into view.
The hybrid notices them as it lets out a loud blood curdling cry.
Darius yelps slightly but quickly regains his composure as he tries to steady the gun and shoot the dinosaur.
As Darius lines the shot up, his hands were unfortunately a bit shaky causing him to shoot the dart and miss the Scorpious completely.
Not only were the campers at a lost for words, but the Scorpious even appeared to be baffled.
Darius gasped at the realization of him missing.
"Well that went well." Ali said sarcastically.
The Scorpious then turned back to the group as it roared in anger and lunged at them.
"Scatter!" Ben shouted as they all yelped and ran away from the raging beast.
They all ran up the stairs, as they were running Darius reloads the gun and turns to aim it at the monster.
"Ack!" Darius yelps as the Scorpious simply took the gun into it's jaws and threw it to the ground.
The hybrid then lunges at Darius but he fortunately was saved by Brooklynn as they both ran away.
The beasts' on momentum caused him to slam into the wall, allowing them time to escape.
"Quick guys, in here!" Ali shouted as he opened a door that led to a kitchen of some sort.
They all ran in and hid behind the large counters.
Their breaths were all ragged as they tried to stay quiet.
As they sat in silence, they all tried to huddle together, everyone noticed how shaky they each were.
The Scorpious made it's way to the door as it breathed heavily, causing steam from it's nostrils to fog up the glass.
Ali pokes his head out to see the Scorpious' mouth in the glass, which causes him to gasp and duck again.
The Scorpious then puts it's eye to glass, fortunately it wasn't quick enough to see Ali.
After it growls for a few seconds, the monster began fidgeting with the door handle.
The group collectively gasped in fear, could this beast really operate a door handle?
Fortunately the dinosaur just gave up on the door handle and walked away.
The group all let out a heavy breath they didn't know they were holding in.
The relaxation was short-lived however as the Scorpious suddenly burst through the door with a loud roar.
This causes the kids to scream out in shock and terror as they all cowered in fear.
The Scorpious breaks into the room fully as it started thrashing around causing things to fall all over the place.
The campers all cowered in fear as the beast roared lividly.
Ali throws a pan at the dinosaur causing it to roar in pain before swiping at him, luckily he dodged the attack.
Kenji makes his way over to the stove and turns it on.
The fire immediately caught the Scorpious' attention as it was entranced by the fire.
Sammy and Brooklynn were still whimpering in fear.
"Come on girls." Ali whispered as he ushered them to run out of the kitchen and join the others who had already left.
The entire group ran all the way to the bottom floor again as they made a break for the door.
"Outside!" Kenji shouted as he began opening the door.
"What about the other Scorpious?" Brooklynn shouted back.
"We sorta don't have another option B!" Ali shouted as they ran out the doors.
"Woah!" Kenji shouts as the entire group drags him back.
Blue had appeared out of nowhere as she jumped right in front of them with a loud screech.
Ali immediately took notice of the scratches along her sides and legs.
"The Scorpious, it took her home and made her flea, I think she came to take it back." Ali deducted.
"So what does that mean for us...?" Yasmina questioned.
"We should probably run back inside." Darius said shakily.
"Agreed!" The entire group responded simultaneously as they ran back inside.
They struggled to keep the door closed as Blue kept ramming the door with her head.
The effort was futile as the Velociraptor was able to get through the door as they all got pushed back.
The group whimpered as they looked at death right in the eyes.
"Up there!" Yasmina shouted as she pointed to the high shelf in the middle of the room.
This idea was not answered because the Scorpious appeared out of nowhere and roared loudly.
"We're trapped..." Brooklynn said in a hushed tone.
The Scorpious lets out another roar but it turns it's head immediately as another roar mimics it's own.
The monster realized it's clone on top of the building trying to break in.
The kids realized the danger as they all jumped in fear.
The Scorpious roared loudly as it lunged at the clone and they began battling.
The warring beasts began making debris fall to the ground.
Darius notices the tranq gun as he lunged for it.
Blue kneels to him as she growled at him causing him to look at her fearfully.
"Now is really not the time for this." Ali said as they tried to stay steady.
The original Scorpious fell to the ground with a pained roar.
This caused the room to shake even more as the ceiling began falling apart.
Darius puts his hands into the air as he bowed his head to show Blue he was not a threat.
The raptor seemingly analyzed the boy.
After a bit she decided to trust the kids as she roared and ran after the Scorpious.
She lunged at the monster and began clawing and biting it.
Darius smiled as he picked the gun up.
"Yea D! Good job, but we can't celebrate just yet, we have to end this now." Ali said as Darius nodded.
"Right." Kenji said firmly, they all yelp as they hear a pained roar that no doubt belonged to Blue.
Ali's eyes widened as he realized the Scorpious had the upper hand as it swiped Blue to the ground.
"I have to help her...you guys handle things here!" Ali shouted as he ran to a climbing platform.
Yasmina went after him quickly as she grabbed his arm.
"You're hurt Ali, and aren't you afraid of heights?" Yasmina questioned in hopes of speaking reason to the allstar.
Ali sighed deeply. "Yea, I am afraid of heights, but we all have to face our fears to protect those we love." Ali said as Yasmina's eyes widended.
"My cousin always told me...when you're the most afraid to jump, is the same time you're supposed to jump." Ali said with conviction.
Before anything else can be said another pained cry from Blue caught Ali's attention.
"I have to go Yas, help the others." Ali said quickly as he kissed her forehead swiftly and began climbing.
Yasmina stood dumbfounded for a second but she quickly rebounded and ran back to help the others.
"What is he doing?" Darius questioned.
"I don't know but, I trust him, let's just do all we can down here." Yasmina said as they all nodded and spread out.
As Ali was climbing he faltered twice, his right hand was still aching.
He had to bite back the pain everytime he advanced.
Fortunately he got to the top with little issue.
"Just don't look down Ali." Ali said as he did just that unfortunately.
"Woah! Okay, okay, I'm not scared, I'm not scar-woah!" He exclaimed as another thud shook the room.
Ali then got to the vantage point he wanted.
He notices a tree in the middle of the room and the Scorpious had pinned Blue down now.
The monster opens it's jaws to finish the raptor off.
Ali sighs as he backs up a bit, then immediately takes off.
He jumped, swung on the tree branch with his left hand and then lunged at the Scorpious with a rocket kick.
Ali yelled out as the Scorpious' attention was drawn to him, stopping it from finishing Blue off.
Before the hybrid could react, Ali's feet connected with it's jaw as it reeled back a bit.
Ali tumbled and landed in front of the monster as he looked at it with fear evident his eyes, but his adrenaline was still rushing.
The Scorpious roars loudly as it lunged at the boy, only for Blue to jump on it, keeping it away from Ali.
"Yea!" Ali shouted with a fist pump.
"Dude you're insane!" Kenji shouted as he helped Ali up.
"Tell me something new." Was Ali's cryptic response.
They were once again alerted to the present threats as the Scorpious clone made the building shake once more.
"We gotta go, if the roof collaspes on us, we're toast!" Sammy exclaimed as they ran to the exit and stopped.
"But they would be too..." Darius trailed off.
"You thinkin what I'm thinkin, D?" Ali questioned.
"Definitely." Darius said as they both nodded and ran to the base of the platform that Ali had leaped off of.
They began trying to push it down.
"If you guys don't mind, we could use some help!" Ali shouts as they strained.
The others quickly made their way over to them as they began straining and pushing the structure as well.
"Come on! We gotta take this whole place down!" Darius exclaimed.
After that statement, the Scorpious clone had finally gotten into the building as it immediately went after the original Scorpious.
The battle then became a triple threat between the two Scorpiouses and Blue.
After a bit more struggling the camp fam finally got the structure to fall.
It smashed through the ceiling and a fossil as the building began fully falling apart.
"Run!" Ali shouted.
"Now!" Darius added as they all ran to the door whilst covering their heads.
Ali then notices Blue was still in the building as he turned immediately.
Blue looks at him as they both looked up and noticed the falling boulders.
The Scorpiouses were too busy trying to tear eachother apart to care about the building falling apart.
Ali then looks at Blue as she does the same.
"Come on girl! You have to go!" Ali shouts as the dinosaur barks at him before taking off.
Ali had definitely overstayed his welcome as he ran out as well, debris was falling all around him.
"Not like this!" He shouted as he made it through the door and rolls to dodge a falling boulder.
He tucked his body in as much as possible to avoid any falling debris, fortunately nothing hit him as the last of the boulders and wood fell.
Ali opened his eyes as he felt his ears ringing a bit...atleast that meant he was alive.
He stood up as he looked around, where were the others?
A familiar rumble brings him out of his thoughts.
The allstar snaps his head towards it as he instantly recognized Blue.
She stood in front of him almost expectantly, Ali was very cautious still, even though he was sure she trusted him slightly, he knew she was still very dangerous.
He approached her slowly, his right hand stretched out just as slowly.
'Please don't bite me, please don't bite me.' Ali mentally pleaded as he got closer to Blue.
He closed his eyes in fear as he was now mere inches from her.
Unbeknownst to him, Blue actually moved her head closer allowing him to rest his palm on her snout.
Ali gasped and opened his eyes as he looked at Blue who had closed her eyes, did he really just bond with a Velociraptor? A full grown one at that.
He almost let out a smile, ofcourse he was happy to still have his arm, but he was also happy that he was able to bond with her.
After a bit Blue backed up from him and let out a small chirp.
She then ran over to the entrance of the jungle foliage before turning to look back at Ali who was smiling fondly.
"Go, you did good girl, they won't bother you or the island anymore." He reassured her.
Blue then let out a bark before running off into the jungle for good leaving the allstar to his thoughts.
Ali then looks at his hand, he still couldn't believe it.
He then folded his hand into a fist before turning around.
'Now to make sure the others made it out safely.' He mentally stated as he began rushing in their direction.
The others were a good distance from the building as there was a huge dust cloud now.
"Is...everyone...okay?" Darius questioned.
"Yes, I think." Brooklynn said as she coughed heavily.
"Is it finally over?" Sammy questioned.
"There's no way they survived that." Ben stated.
"Wait, where's Ali?" Yasmina questioned as they all looked around to notice the allstar was nowhere to be found.
"No...you don't think..." Kenji trailed off.
"There's no way, Ali had to have survived." Brooklynn said as her voice trembled.
"We're not gonna find out by standing around we have to go look for him!" Yasmina shouted as they all looked saddened for a second.
Suddenly everyone minus Yasmina gasps and began smiling as Yasmina grew furious.
"What's so funny!? He could be dead!" She shouted.
"But he's not." Said the voice of Ali as he hugged Yasmina from behind.
The trackstar gasped so loud you would think her throat had relapsed.
She immediately turned around and hugged him tightly as she began tearing up.
"Don't...scare me like that ever again." Yasmina threatened him.
"I'll try not to." Ali stated with a smirk as they separated.
"You always have to make a flashy entrance don't you." Kenji said with an eyeroll.
"Ha, you calling me dramatic? Don't make me laugh Kon." Ali said as he crossed his arms.
"You wanna go Barlett?" Kenji questioned with a growl.
"Bring it." Ali said with a frown.
"Do you guys need another lesson in discipline?" Brooklynn questioned sweetly.
"No ma'am!" They both shouted simultaneously.
"Greatttt, now we can go make sure both of those monsters are dead." Darius said as they walked into the chaos to check that theory.
"What if they can come back to life? Zombie hybrids dude, so freaky." Kenji said as he shivered.
"You're intelligence levels decrease steadily by the day..." Ali remarked.
They now stood in front of the corpses of both hybrids.
The Scorpious Rexes, were no more.
"Guys...we did it." Darius stated in a hushed tone.
"Great, now let's get the hell outta here." Yasmina said as they all minus Darius and Ben turned to leave immediately.
Darius huffed, he couldn't believe it was actually over.
Ben then taps his shoulder as they look at eachother.
"Come on, I'll walk you to the boat." Ben said sincerely.
The two boys turned to walk and join the others.
As they walked through the jungle they each took one last look at the dinos and plants.
"Wow, it feels almost surreal, we're finally about to leave." Ali said as he walked hand in hand with Yasmina.
She chuckled at his dramatics.
They all continued walking through the jungle.
Boat
It was a bit darker now as they all stood on the docks.
Ben stood across from the rest of the group as he prepared to say goodbye.
"Well, this is it." Ben stated plainly.
"I know I've already asked you this like a hundred times on the walk back, but...are you sure you wanna stay behind?" Sammy questioned Ben as he seemed to falter a bit.
"Yea man, after everything we've been through, it's absolutely bonkers that you don't wanna leave." Kenji said as he hugged Sammy by the hip.
"Well, look I know...I know it seems bad but the Scorpiouses are gone, I'll be okay...you guys are my family." Ben informed them.
"But, this island is home, I know that I'll survive here." He reassured them.
"But everytime I think of you out here all alone..." Sammy trailed off as she whimpered.
"Yea and we'll..." Yasmina trailed off.
"We'll all miss you." Brooklynn said as everyone minus Ali advanced Ben and hugged him.
"Thanks guys, I'll miss you too." Ben said sincerely.
He then notices Ali standing off to himself.
Ben then walks through the others to get to Ali.
"So...you're not gonna get mad or yell? Or give me a deep long speech to convince me to go with you guys?" Ben questioned him.
"Nope...every man has their own life to live." Ali stated simply.
"But, just know you'll always be apart of this family, no matter how far you are from us." Ali said as he hugged Ben firmly.
"I love you, man." Ali said as Ben returned the hug firmly as well.
"I love you too." Ben responded.
"What do ya say guys? One last time?" Ali questioned as he extended his hand.
They all put their hands together as they took deep breaths.
"One two three!" Ali shouted.
"Camp!" They all yelled.
"Four five six!" Ali exclaimed once more.
"Family!" They yelled loudly as they threw their hands into the air.
They smile at eachother for a bit, before lightning struck.
"Well, another storm's coming, you guys best sail off." Ben chastised them.
They all gave him one last giant group hug.
"Come on guys, Ben's made up his mind." Darius said as he was prepared to leave.
"We gotta respect it." He finished before walking towards the boat.
"D is right, let's go guys." Ali said as he turned to follow Darius.
The others then slowly turned away as they began walking towards the boat again.
Ali then stopped suddenly as everyone else made their way on deck.
"Oh by the way, see ya soon, Pincus." He said with a smirk as he walked to the boat and got on deck.
Ben was left puzzled for a second, Ali knew they would not see eachother again, didn't he?
As they all got on deck, Kenji got into the control room as he turned the boat on.
The others go to the rails to look at Ben one last time.
The boat then starts taking off as they began sailing out.
"Stay safe Ben!" Darius shouted as they waved at him.
"We love you!" Brooklynn yelled.
"Love you too." Ben replied quietly as he turned around and faced the island.
He was becoming conflicted as it began raining hard.
He was caught between going with them staying, and after a few seconds of nerve racking thoughts, the jungle boy had made up his mind.
Home was where family was, he needed to be with them.
"Are we really doing this? We're really leaving him here?" Sammy questioned as they all minus Ali had wary expressions.
Brooklynn noticed Ali's calm demeanor.
"How the heck are you so calm right now?" Brooklynn questioned him with an almost irate glare.
"Heh, three...two...one." Ali counted down.
As he hit one they heard Ben yell out.
"Guys! Wait!" He shouted as they all ran to the rails to see him running down the docks.
Their eyes each widened, except for Ali who know Ben would come around.
"No! No! No! Wait I'm coming!" Ben shouted.
"Kenji! Stop the boat!" Darius shouted as Kenji eagerly did just that.
Ben leaped off of the docks as he began swimming out to the boat.
Darius and Brooklynn ran to help hin get on.
As he got to the boat the two of them grabbed his arms and pulled him onto the boat.
Ali, Yasmina, and Sammy then came upon the scene.
"Told you I'd see see ya soon." Ali said as he crossed his arms with a smirk.
"You knew all along didn't you." Ben said as he rubbed his arm.
"Yup." Ali responded cryptically.
"Welcome back Ben! What made you decide to stay with us?" Sammy questioned him.
"Well, I realized that I found myself on the island, so I can take my newfound self somewhere else." Ben explained.
"That isn't dinosaur infested." Ali said flatly as they all chuckled.
"Now let's get back on the move! We are outta here!" Brooklynn shouted as they cheered and went back to the deck.
Kenji goes into the control room as he started the boat.
"Now we can all finally relax." Yasmina said as she sat down.
"Not so fast Yas, there's still something I have to do." Ali said as he grabbed her arms and led her to the middle of the lounge area.
"Ooo! I think he's finally going to confess!" Sammy squealed to Brooklynn.
"Definitely!" Brooklynn exclaimed.
"Guys what's happeni-" Brooklynn cuts Darius off with a elbow as he groaned.
Ali and Yasmina both looked into eachother's eyes.
'Here it comes...just get it over with.' Yasmina mentally stated.
"I don't know where to start but, Yas, you're really cool, funny, and smart, not to mention really pretty." Ali began as Yasmina looked conflicted.
Did he really mean this all?
"I don't think words can explain what I'm trying to convey to you but, Yasmina Fadoula, I lo-ack!" Ali exclaims as a giant bright light shined onto the boat cutting him off.
Everyone groaned and blocked their eyes from the light.
They noticed it was coming from three helicopters that were circling the yacth.
"Attention, you on the boat, return to the dock and cut the engine, immediately!" Shouted a female voice over a speaker from one of the choppers.
"Who are these guys?" Darius questioned.
"I don't know, but they don't seem friendly to me..." Ali trailed off as they kept their sights on the choppers.
Well things just got a whole lot...weirder.
