Here's a new story that I want to try, rated for reasons, AU and...enjoy the first chapter.

28-year-old Iruma Suzuki sat at the bar, a drink in front of him with his head down. Feeling a hand on his shoulder before someone lightly shaking him, he turned and looked up, "Iruma-kins? What are you doing here?" behind him stood three of his former classmates, Clara Valac, Kerori Crocell and Elizabetta Ix, and their former Student Body President Ameri Azazel standing behind him, "You don't like to drink since you and pinky have a daughter an-"

"Not anymore," the four young women stared at him in confusion as he turned his back towards them and shook his head, "Haruno was seeing Asmodeus since Kanna was only a few months old, Kanna found out when she was six, Asmodeus and Haruno bought toys for her to keep quiet, I found out a few months ago, we got into a heated argument and...we ended the custody battle today."

The four looked at each other before looking back at Iruma and Ameri tilted her head to the side in confusion, "Well don't keep us waiting, what the hell happened?"

"Since Kanna is twelve now, the judge asked her what she wanted to do, and she looked at me and...she asked me to disown her," a collective gasp came from the four as Iruma took a drink before he continued, "I was hurt, needless to say, and I told her that if I were to do that, I will no longer be her father, she said that she knew and that Asmodeus will be able to adopt her as his own once that was finished. After hearing that...I lost all fight in me and just...gave up,"

"No one can really blame you after hearing your own daughter say something like that, though," Kerori frowned as the four of them sat down, "And we heard what happened to your grandfather and Opera a few weeks ago...and now this?"

"Yeah...life just loves throwing curveballs my way...parents abused me, grandpa adopted me and for a while, life was fine, then I got Haruno pregnant when we were sixteen and I thought it was going to a challenge, but grandpa and Opera both said they'd help us as best they can...and from there it went straight to hell, Haruno doing that, bribing Kanna, grandpa and Opera dying in that car accident...everything"

"Not to sound rude or anything," Iruma looked up at the tall, blonde beauty and arched a brow as Elizabetta frowned, "Where are they living? I mean...you aren't giving them the mansion, are you? That will be-"

"No, they know that they have no claims to the mansion...Kanna would've if I hadn't done what I had to do today, but no...I'm going to the hardware store tomorrow to pick up some new locks, and I'm going to change my will...to...I don't know...right now I want to drink,"

The four frowned at him before Clara leaned up against her best friend and sighed, "How many have you had, Iruma-kins?"

"Relax, Clara, this is just my second one...I'm not going to overdo it. Like I said, I want to go to the hardware store tomorrow to pick up some new locks, and I can't do that if I'm hungover, right?"

The four continued to frown before Ameri looked up at the bartender and narrowed her eyes before slamming her hands on the bar and stood up, "What the hell is wrong with you? You see someone who is struggling with something in life and your first thought is to give them a beer? What if he goes overboard?"

The bartender sighed and shook his head before he began cleaning the surface of the bar, "Calm down, lady, like he said, that's only his second beer of the night. The only time someone would get cutoff is if they're visibly intoxicated, not before. While I do feel sorry for the guy, I legally can't stop him from drinking." he looked at Iruma and took a deep breath, "It seems these young ladies care about you, kid, so after that beer, why don't you head home and get to bed," Iruma silently nodded as he continued to drink.

SO

The small group of five walked down the street as the evening wind blew past them. Iruma stopped and looked back with a frown painted across his lips, "I'm not drunk, like I said, I only had two beers tonight, I know where I live, why are you four following me?"

"We just want to make sure you're alright, Iruma," Ameri sighed, "You just had a lengthy custody battle, your daughter asked you to disown her...you lost your grandfather and butler...we're just worried about you,"

"That's right," Kerori chimed in, "You were always willing to help everyone when we were in school, and we want to return the favor."

Ezliabetta nodded before adding, "So like it or not, we're following you home to make sure you don't do anything to hurt yourself."

"And besides, it'll be fun if we hangout, Iruma-kins," Clara smiled.

Iruma sighed before reaching over and patted the top of Clara's head, surprising her, "You've been calling me that for the last fourteen years, don't know why, but I don't mind it. I don't have it in me to ask you to stop," Clara slightly smiled as Iruma turned and began walking away, "Since you four insist on following me, you might as well stay for the night. It's supposed to start pouring soon, so let's go," the four nodded as they continued to follow Iruma down the street.

SO

Iruma sat on his bed, his shoulders slumped over and his head down as rain hit the glass of the window before lightning flashed, illuminating the sky and thunder roared. Hearing the door open, he looked up and saw Ameri, Clara, Elizabetta and Kerori stepping into the room, concerning looks crossing their faces, "I'm still alive, I haven't done anything stupid an-"

"We just wanted to check up on you," Kerori said as Clara stepped closer to her best friend and sat down next to him as she rested her head on his shoulder, "You came up to your room once we got here and no one has heard from you."

"I'm fine...and I'm guessing you four are going to the hardware store with me tomorrow to make sure I don't do anything stupid, am I right?"

"But of course," Elizabetta smiled sweetly, "We can't trust you not to go to the bar and drink,"

"She's right, Iruma," Ameri said sternly, crossing her arms, "So tomorrow, we all will have breakfast, drink some tea and then head out, is that clear?" Iruma took a deep breath and nodded his head in defeat, "Good, now we should all get some sleep an-" before she could finish, Clara laid down on the bed and pulled Iruma next to her and wrapped her arms around him, "What the...what do you think you're doing?"

"Keeping Iruma-kins company tonight," Clara smirked as Ameri, Elizabetta and Kerori stared at her, "There are more rooms in the house, so you can get some sleep too," the three sighed and turned before walking out of the room, closing the door behind them.

Hearing the latch catch, Iruma looked down to see Clara had fallen asleep and he slightly smiled, "Still has hyper as you were back in high school, huh Clara? Instantly falling asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow...but...why are you four so insistent that you stay here?" inhaling slowly, he looked up at the ceiling before closing his eyes and fell into an uneasy slumber.
