Jungle
The campers sat in front of Mae and Sammy inside the cave as the cowgirl scrutinized Mae's injuries.
The doctor shook a bit in her sleep as her face contorted.
"She's asleep, the leaves we put over her wounds stopped the bleeding but...I don't know how long that's gonna last, we gotta do something." Sammy said to the others.
"Ben says Kash has a phone, let's get it, call for help and get out of here." Yasmina proposed.
"Yas is right, we can't afford to waste time with so much on the line." Ali said in aid if the trackstar.
"But...what about the dinosaurs?" Darius questioned as they all looked at him with wary expressions.
"What do you mean? You're not seriously considering risking it all again for the dinos are you?" Ali questioned him as he frowned slightly.
"I know it sounds bad but, now that Mae's injured, if we all leave, who's gonna protect them?" Darius questioned.
Ali went to respond but Yasmina places an arm on his shoulder, she didn't want to risk another argument.
"Darius, look at her, she needs help, our only choice is that phone." Yasmina said as she gestured to Mae who lurched in her sleep.
"Those leaves aren't exactly sterile, we're running out of time, let's split up and try and find Kash." Ben suggested.
"Good idea Ben, we can cover more ground like that." Ali agreed.
"Small problem, we don't know where he went." Kenji reminded them.
"Yea that's why we're gonna sea-" Ali is cutoff as an all too familiar green glow reflects off the cave wall.
It was BRAD, they could tell from the metallic footsteps and whirring.
"Go." Ali said quietly as they all moved out of sight.
They hid behind a giant rock as the BRAD scanned the cave.
Ali was sitting right next to Mae as he noticed her feet were in the open and the BRAD scanner was dangerously close.
The allstar's eyes widened as he swiftly pulled Mae closer to him so that her feet would hopefully move too.
Luckily they did just in time as the BRAD suddenly shut off it's scanner.
"New orders recieved!" It declared as it turned and ran off.
Ali lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding onto as he let Mae go.
"One of them could be headed to Kash." Yasmina declared as they all relaxed as well.
"You guys go, I think there was a first aid kit in the snow gliders, I'll get Mae patched up." Ben declared.
"Alright, be careful Ben, we'll rendezvous here after we carry everything out." Ali said as Ben nodded and ran off to do his part.
Everyone else nodded to eachother as they went out into the jungle to follow the BRADs.
They all split into twos, Kenji and Sammy, Darius and Brooklynn, Yasmina and Ali.
"I hope Mae'll be okay." Sammy said to Kenji .
"She's tough, she'll be okay." Kenji reassured her as they cautiously trailed the BRAD.
Ali and Yasmina poked their heads from behind a tree as they noticed it scanning the area in front of it.
"Hey Yas, are you sure you're good? You know with the bad dreams and all?" Ali suddenly asked as Yasmina frowned at the ground, Why'd he have to ask this now.
"I'm fine, we've got way more to worry about than some little nightmares." Yasmina declared.
"What? They are way more than ju-" Ali is cutoff as Yasmina shushes him.
"It's getting too far ahead! Come on!" Yasmina shouted as she ran ahead.
Ali sighed as he ran after her.
They stop at another tree as they noticed the BRAD walking up to a building.
The BRAD then opens the door as they both sneak up to it and enter swiftly before the door closed.
Unfortunately the door closed with a force as they were pushed forward.
Ali landed behind a crate as Yasmina landed face first.
As she looked up she gasped sharply as she jumped back and stifled a yelp at the sight of a BRAD right in front of her.
Ali pulled her behind the crate swiftly as she put a finger to his lips.
"They're off, relax." He reassured her as she nodded after recollecting herself.
They both peered over the crate as they noticed an entire assembly of inactive BRADs.
The one BRAD they were following began walking through the the lines of inactive BRADs.
"Finally, took you long enough!" They heard the voice of Kash complain as the BRAD's footsteps stopped.
"Kash..." Yasmina trailed off as the couple shared a look of distress.
Forest Biome
Sammy, Kenji, Darius and Brooklynn had tracked the other BRAD all the way to the Forest biome as they mainted a safe distance from it.
"Where the heck is it...going." Brooklynn finished as they all notice the BRAD run up to Big Eatie and Little Eatie who was still downed from their fight.
"Quick! Hide!" Sammy shouted as they all ducked behind a bush.
As they peered at the scene before them they noticed the BRAD scanning the two Rexes.
Big Eatie inspects the little droid as it stopped scanning her daughter.
"Health reading suboptimal...unsuitable for tests." The bot decided.
The BRAD then scanned Big Eatie.
"Subject suitable for test." The BRAD then declared.
"What test?" Darius questioned aloud.
"Uh...I don't know." Kenji stated shakily.
Before the conversation could continue they heard whirring coming from behind them as their attention immediately snaps towards it.
They then noticed four drones with red lights flying towards Big Eatie.
They surrounded the poor T. Rex as she roared in confusion.
Suddenly the drones turned from red to yellow as Big Eatie tried to snap at one to no avail.
She then tried to go to her daughter, when suddenly she is shocked by one of the drones causing her to roar in anguish.
The four teens gasped as the drones continued to shock Big Eatie and usher her away from her daughter.
"No..." Brooklynn said with a hitched breath as she clutched Darius' arm and hid her face in his shoulder.
All the while this was happening Big Eatie was roaring...no...crying out in anguish...not from the shocks, but from the fact they were taking her away from her daughter who was in need of help.
"I can't watch this." Sammy said as rested her head on Kenji's chest.
Darius was at a lost for words as he watched Big Eatie's eyes go from pained to infuriated.
The motherly Rex had had enough, she lets out a lour roar as she swiftly chomps down on the BRAD and swings it's inactive body over the head of the camp fam.
"Yes!" Kenji shouted as they laughed and cheered slightly.
Big Eatie then walked over to her daughter to check on her...only issue was, the drones were still there.
As she was distracted they delivered more shocks causing her to cry out in pain once more.
This time there was no escape...she simply opted to go in the direction they were ushering her, there was only so much punishment she could take.
"Why are they doing this?" Brooklynn questioned.
"I don't know...but we have to find out." Darius said as they began following the drones and Big Eatie.
As they hid behind a tree to ensure their safety Darius was about to run ahead until he noticed another BRAD walking up which caused him to jump and quickly go back into hiding as he breathed heavily.
The BRAD's robotic steps were heard as it passed them.
"There's too much heat, let's head back." Kenji suggested.
"Kash and his phone aren't here, maybe Ali and Yas had more luck?" Sammy suggested as she got up along with Kenji and began heading back to the door.
Brooklynn turned to Darius as she noticed his saddened gaze at Big Eatie who was still being forced away from her daughter.
"Come on D, we can't help her like this..." Brooklynn stated as she stood up and oftered him her hand.
He shakily took her hand as they both ran to catch up with Sammy and Kenji.
Kash's Lab
As Yasmina and Ali moved in closer to see if they could potentially steal Kash's phone and get some information they made sure to be extra quiet.
They quickly hid behind a wall, that would be the closest they'd be able to get without alerting him.
"Prepare the test space out side of my compound." Kash said to the BRAD in front of him.
"Unable to connect to drone perimeter system." Was the bot's response as Kash sighed.
"Retry the connection protocol." He simply stated.
"Unable to connect to drone perimeter system." The droid responded once more as Kash groaned in anger.
"Fine! Like everything else I'll do it myself!" He shouted as he tosses his phone to the side of his desk and began using his computer.
Ali ans Yasmina immediately locked their eyes onto the phone as Kash angrily typer on the keyboard.
After doing what he set out to do he grabs his screw driver and began tinkering with an inactive BRAD.
Ali then gained a determined look as he quietly crawled over to Kash's desk in hopes of stealing his phone.
He reaches for the phone slowly as he notices Kash was still distracted.
The allstar quickly pulls his arm back as Kash goes back to the computer screen, fortunately he still didn't see Ali.
As he was still distracted Ali reached for the phone again.
Unfortunately, as soon as he touched it a loud trilling startles him as he jumps back a bit.
"This stupid computer has no connection either!?" Kash shouted as he pounded his fists against his desk.
"When I get a hold of those imbecile freelancers who messed up my code..." Kash began as he grew more and more angry with each word.
Ali realized this as he opted to go back into hiding swiftly.
"I'm gonna...ahh!" Kash exclaimed as he threw his computer monitor to the floor in anger.
Ali and Yasmina both noticed amongst the broken computer parts, Kash had inadvertently threw his phone to the ground.
Kash then lets out another grunt of anger as he slammed his fists onto the desk again and breathed raggedly.
His emotions then did a complete 180 as he noticed his ear bud that he had been missing.
"Ohhh sweet! My ear bud." He began as he walked towards the exit.
"I thought I lost it." Kash said as he bent down and picked up his phone.
The maniac then began playing heavy metal as he began to leave the building, followed by the BRAD.
After Yasmina and Ali were sure he was gone they let out sighs of relief.
"You okay?" Ali questioned his girlfriend as they shared a quick hug.
"Yea...that was kinda intense, that dude has got some serious issues." Yasmina said as they separated.
"So...not only is he a spazz, a maniac, a patient of anger issues...but he has horrible music taste too, yea this guy's track record has zero positives." Ali said as they stood up and ran over to Kash's desk.
"But...that's not gonna stop us from going after him though, is it?" Yasmina questioned with a smirk.
"Nope." Ali said as they ran out the door and after Kash.
Outside
As the couple came upon some bushes outside of the main building in the biome they watched as the two Velociraptors that attacked Mae were trying to get at Kash.
However, the drones around Kash had provided him with an electric forcefield sorts.
"If those drones weren't there..." Ali said as his frown deepened.
"Ali...I...can't do this." The sheer weakness behind Yasmina's tone was enough for Ali's frown to falter as he immediately became worried and turned to her.
"Yas? It's okay...come here." Ali said as he hugged her to his chest, she immediately hugs him back.
"We're not about to fight those Raptors, the BRADs, and that sicko alone." He said as he separated from her and looked her in the eyes.
"Let's go find the others, he's not getting away with this." Ali said as he stood up with her hand in his.
They then ran as they set out for the hideout.
Hideout
As Ali and Yasmina arrived they were greeted by everyone else as they were met with firm hugs.
"Thank God, I was so worried that you guys got into trouble!" Sammy shouted as she gave them space to breathe.
Ali smiled at this all, even though their was crisis going on, they were all safe.
Suddenly Brooklynn attacked him with a hug.
"Way to make us worried knucklehead!" She shouted as Ali hugged her back with a chuckle.
His eyes then locked onto Ben and...Mae, she was awake and looking way better than before.
"Granny!" Ali shouted as he ran over to her and gave her a swift hug.
It caught not only the entire group off guard, but Mae as well.
Even though their relationship was getting better, this was still a strange sight.
"Well...looks like someone was worried about me." Mae said as she patted Ali's head.
"You have no idea." Yasmina said with a chuckle.
"Ali." Darius called as the allstar separated from Mae to look at him.
"I understand the situation we're in right now but you and Yas have to tell us what you found." Darius stated urgently, Ali nodded.
"We found Kash, in this creepy warehouse full of BRADs." Yasmina began.
"I was about to get his phone...I mean...I was right there but..." Ali continued.
"He went back inside the compound." Yasmina finished as Darius sighed in exasperation.
"The BRADs...they forced Big Eatie to leave her daughter...they shocked her until she left with them." Darius explained solemnly as Ali's fist tightened in anger and Yasmina's eyes were wary.
"It was so...sad...she looked like...like a mother who had lost her newborn." Brooklynn stated in disgust.
"It was super hard to watch man." Kenji added in.
"Hasn't he hurt them enough?" Mae questioned.
"He wants to use her for some kind of tes-" Darius is cutoff by a loud roar sounding through the air which caused everyone to gasp sharply.
"That sounded like..." Sammy trailed off.
"Pierce!" Mae shouted in anguish as she tried to get up only for her wounds to stifle her.
Ali swiftly moved over to her as he steadied her.
"No, your wounds are still fresh, you need to relax." Ali tried to reason.
"But if Kash is hurting them like he did Big Eatie..." Mae protested.
"Trust me, I more than anyone else know what it's like to be told to sit back while those you love suffer just because I'm hurt..." Ali began as the other camp fam members took note of his gunshot wound, they knew how he felt when Brooklynn's safety was in question.
"But you won't do any good if you hurt yourself more...don't worry Mae, we'll go get him." Darius stated firmly as they all prepared to leave.
Ali gets up to join the others as Mae grabbed his arm.
"Promise me you'll help him." Mae said with conviction in her voice.
"I...promise." Ali stated firmly as she let his arm go.
The allstar then turned and walked over to his friends.
Mae stared at his back as he walked up to them, the jersey number was ripping a bit and the name that had been there was all but torn off.
Yet this kid still walked with so much confidence and conviction...as if he had no fear.
'I don't know what it is about them...about him...something just makes you want to believe in him, especially when he makes a promise.' Mae thought to herself as she decided to close her eyes and get some much needed rest, she'd put her trust in them.
The Compound
As the campers came upon the scene they quickly hid in the bushes.
They all wore expressions of horror as they realized Pierce being shocked by the drones as he roared in anger and anguish.
"What are they doing...?" Yasmina questioned in disgust.
Before the question can be answered their attention is snapped towards the sound of Big Eatie's roar as they noticed her being ushered into the compound yard by drones as well.
As the two dinos roared in anger then realized eachother it wasn't hard for Darius and the others to piece things together.
"He's gonna force them to fight..." Darius trailed off as the others let out sounds of disgust.
"No way.." Ben said warily.
"It all makes sense...putting that agro cube stuff in their food, in hopes of getting their aggression levels up, testing how strong Pierce was by putting him in the Arctic biome...taking Mae's work...that man does not care what happens to these dinosaurs...he just wants to see them...fight for his own guilty pleasure." Ali stated as his fists tightened and the other's gained even more wary looks.
They all knew it was true...but actually hearing it made it so much worse.
Brooklynn then grabs Darius' arm as she looked ahead with him.
"But Pierce is no match for Big Eatie, he'll be slaughtered." Brooklynn pointed out as Darius sighed.
"Guys...I know that phone is our only way off this island, but we have to-" Sammy cuts Darius off.
"Save them!" She shouted as the others gained determined looks.
"We know." Kenji said with a chuckle.
Everyone was seemingly on board...Darius turned to Ali who hadn't said anything.
"G?" He questioned him as the allstar sighed.
On one hand, he really wanted them to get home safely...especially Yasmina so she could stop suffering...but if they just ran now they'd be cowards.
"You know I'm in." Ali said as he walked over to his co-leader.
They shared a half hug as they stood in front of the group.
"Wait...you guys are all down? This is-" Ben cuts Darius off.
"Spontaneous and random? My favorite things, we're with you D." Ben said proudly.
"Kash must be controlling the drones from his compound, if we can get in there we can disable them and stop the dinos from hurting eachother." Brooklynn suggested as everyone nodded.
Everyone except Yasmina...she had been hyperfixated on the dinosaurs...mainly Big Eatie.
And not for a good reason...she was having a small panic attack, as her breaths became ragged.
'I can't do this.' Her mind was pounding.
"We'll have to get him to come out of hiding first." Ali's voice brings her out of her thoughts.
"I've got some ideas on that front G." Ben said as Ali smirked at him.
"Do your thing island boy." Ali said with a nod.
"Perfect, Sammy and Kenji you guys are with Ben, once Kash leaves his compound-" Darius is cutoff by Brooklynn.
"We'll trail him." Brooklynn as she gestured between herself and Ali.
"We'll make sure he doesn't come back, don't worry." Ali said as Darius nodded.
"Yas, you and I will sneak past the raptors and drones." Darius said to the trackstar as she seemed very uneasy at the idea, nonetheless she stood up and tried to look as confident as possible.
Ali quickly took note of this, he could tell when Yasmina was out of her element with ease.
"Yas...are you sure you're good for dino duty?" Ali questioned her as she tried to a feign a smile to him.
"I...I got this." She said shakily as her boyfriend eyed her...he didn't believe her but there was no time.
"Come on Ali!" Brooklynn shouted as they ran off to get in position for their part.
Ben, Sammy and Kenji had left already.
Darius then turns to Yasmina as he taps her shoulder.
"You do got this." He reassured her as he ran over to the bushes.
"Heh." Was Yasmina's cryptic response, she certainly didn't feel like she had it.
She then turned as she tried to run up next to Darius.
Unfortunately...it was like some invisible force was holding her in place.
Big Eatie's teeth flashed everytime her blood curling roar sounded...and Yasmina's bones shook everytime.
It wasn't just some invisible force freezing Yasmina in place...it was fear...fear that was making heart pound as she began building up a sweat.
With every loud roar or stomp Yasmina felt herself losing her mind more and more.
Stomp! Another bead of sweat...another ragged breath...it became harder to stand.
She couldn't take it anymore as she collapsed onto her knees and continued breathing heavily.
Darius realized this as he gasped and ran over to her.
"Yas!" He shouted as he kneeled to her level.
"Yas! Are you okay?" He questioned...his voice was muffled by her thoughts...she couldn't see...hear...or think straight.
Brooklynn and Ali
As the two got into position they waited attentively for Kash.
Brooklynn noticed there was something off about Ali though...beneath that hardened gaze was...worry...and she had a good feeling about what...no...who it was.
"Ali...she'll be okay." Brooklynn tried to reassure him.
"I...I know, she's tough...but I love her Brooklynn...I really do, I just don't think it's a good idea to put her around dinos right now." Ali admitted.
"Ali I know how much you love her, trust me...but you have to have faith in her, come on, she'll be fine, for now let's think of a plan for Kash when he comes out." Brooklynn said as she looked him in his eyes.
"Right, thanks...sis." Ali said as she smiled at that...it was nice to hear him call her his sister after so long...she knew he still viewed her as his sister as she views him as her brother but...due to the stress of the last few days he hadn't really been saying it outloud as much.
Yasmina and Darius
Sammy had noticed Yasmina collapse when she was running with Kenji and Ben so she quickly ran back to her aid.
"Darius...I'm sorry...I.." Yasmina trails off as Sammy helps her up.
"It's okay if you're still struggling...these things aren't fixed over night." Sammy stated.
"Things? What things?" Darius questioned them.
"Nothing! It's nothing..." Yasmina trailed off.
"Yas...you gotta tell him." Sammy urged her.
"Tell me what?" Darius questioned as Yasmina sighed before steeling herself.
"I've been having these nightmares...they're usually about dinosaurs...but the worst one was the most recent one...where Ali got...he...anyways, you get the picture." Yasmina said as Sammy hugged her closely.
"I...told the others, and found out that even Ali was having nightmares too...I felt a lot better." Yasmina admitted.
"But I am obviously not as fine as I thought." She then added as Darius took a second to process it all.
The whole group was suffering...even Ali, who almost never showed when he was scared.
"Everyone's having nightmares?" He questioned, still in disbelief.
"Why didn't anyone tell me?" Darius added.
"It's not like that Darius...we only started talking about it after we stopped to save Pierce...and missed the plane...home." Sammy's explanation pieced things together for Darius...especially the home part.
That's why they didn't want to tell him...they didn't think he would understand them.
'Some leader I've been...maybe Ali was right about me.' Darius mentally berated himself.
Yasmina noticed how quiet he had become.
"And, we didn't want you to feel bad because we all agreed it was the right thing to do...just like we're doing now...so don't beat yourself up over it." Yasmina stated.
"New plan...you guys go with Ben and Kenji...and I'll take the compound solo." Darius suggested.
"Darius, are you sure?" Yasmina questioned him.
"I got this." Darius said with a nod.
"Thanks, D." Yasmina said as she got up along with Sammy.
They then walked off into the jungle as Darius watched them leave.
The young teen noticed Big Eatie and Pierce had actually began fighting as they delivered sickening blows to eachother.
Heregained a determined look as he ran back to the bushes, it was time to put a stop to this.
Sammy and Yasmina
As the two ran they suddenly notice Kenji and Ben drive up in truck.
"Need a ride?" Kenji questioned with a smirk which they returned.
"Careful ladies, this thing is about to get explosive." Ben said with a smirk of his own as he diverted their attention to the nitrous tanks taped to the truck.
"Wow." Was all Sammy could say as they got into the truck.
She gives Kenji a swift peck on the cheek before sitting down.
"Hm, guess it's not a Ben plan if it doesn't involve blowing something up." Yasmina said with a shrug.
"I like to play to my strengths." Ben said with a nod.
"Alright camp fam! Let's put an end to the dino rumble!" Kenji said as he began driving the truck.
As they drove along the dirt path they notice a BRAD walk into the road.
"Woah!" Kenji shouted as the BRAD charged up a stun grenade.
Before it could even fire it was ran over and completely crushed by the truck.
"Well...that's one other way to kill a BRAD." Yasmina stated as they chuckled slightly.
"Woo!" Ben exclaimed.
"Look out BRADs! We're comin for ya!" Sammy shouted triumphantly.
"Alright guys...we're near the lab, on my count everyone unbuckle and jump out." Kenji stated as they all nodded and he pressed even harder on the acceleration.
"3...2...1!" He shouted as they all leaped out of the truck and rolled on the dirt as the truck continued going towards the building.
As soon as it made contact with the building the share speed and force cause a large explosion to occur as the teens kept their bodies low to the ground and covered their heads.
They all turned as they noticed the lab was set ablaze.
"Woo! Yea!" Kenji shouted as they all stood up with cheers.
"That's what I'm talkin about!" Ben shouted.
"Take that Mantah Corp!" Sammy shouted.
Brooklynn and Ali
The two had been waiting for Kash for what felt like ages now.
So much so that Brooklynn was resting her head on Ali's shoulder as they laid against a tree.
"Okay, so you've been teasing me about Yas all day, what about you and Darius, hm?" Ali questioned her as she scrambled a bit.
"What? Us? Pssh, we're just...friends, besides...he wouldn't wanna date some lame girl like me...he'd want someone much smarter." Brooklynn said with a chuckle...apparently Ali share her humor.
"Brooklynn...why do you down yourself like that?" Ali questioned her.
"What?" She questioned him.
"You always belittle yourself...you call yourself stupid...you act like you're a terrible human...when that's just it...you're human, we all make mistakes...Brooklynn I see the way you and Darius look at eachother...and you do too, so stop downing yourself, understood?" Ali questioned her.
"I...I got it, I'm sorry G, I don't why I do that." Brooklynn said shakily.
Truth is...she knew exactly why she belittled herself.
Her real older brother...well adoptive brother made her feel like less every chance he got, he called her so many things...stupid, ugly...even a bitch, like she knew they weren't related but you'd think all that time would allow him to develop some type of respect for her, that's why Ali was better to her...he always knew what to say to make her feel better...he was always there to care for her...for everyone for that matter, but with her it was special.
"Good, now get up...my arm's falling asleep." Ali stated curtly as it brought Brooklynn out of her thoughts.
"But I'm soooo comfortable." Brooklynn complained.
"Brook." Ali groaned out as she refused to move, which caused him to let out a sigh.
Darius
Darius was still hiding out in the bushes as Kash walked through the compound, he was finally about to get his chance.
The teen ran forward as he failed to notice a raptor stalking him.
The raptor let out a screech as it lunged forward, Darius quickly reacted an ran towards the compound building as he breathed heavily.
As the raptor closed the gap between them it was about to finish him.
A sudden shock stops the raptor as it growled at the drones.
Darius realizing his opening tries to find the lock to the entrance.
"Come on, come on!" He shouted as the raptor found an opening as well.
The beast jumped over the electric fence as it scrambled to find it's footing.
After it steadied itself the dinosaur ran at Darius, poised to attack.
Luckily Darius found the handle as he opened the door and swiftly closed it in the raptor's face.
He laid on the floor as he tried desperately to regain his breath.
The boy then turned around as he noticed the elevator.
His gaza hardened as he remembered why he was here.
Ali and Brooklynn
"Perfect! Now I'm gonna miss my check in with the big guy!" They heard Kash shout as they swiftly stood up and peered out from behind the tree.
"Go back and get my phone!" He shouted at the BRAD he was with.
"Oh no." Brooklynn said curtly.
"Yasmina and Darius..." Ali said as they ran back to the compound.
As they came upon the scene they took note of the increase in BRAD patrol.
"We need a plan...we can't get by these guys that easy." Ali stated.
"What about Darius and Yas?" Brooklynn questioned him with worry in her eyes.
"They're both smart Brooklynn, they're gonna be fine, just have a little faith in them." Ali said with a smirk as he nudged her.
"Hm, wonder who said that?" Brooklynn questioned rhetorically.
"Some wise pinkette, anyways, I've got an idea on how to disable those drones...the old way." Ali said as he picked up a rock with a smirk.
Darius
Darius was now in front of Kash's computer as he tried to understand it.
"How do you work?" He questioned as the warring dinos' roars brought him out of his thoughts.
He then ran over to the window as he watched them relentlessly hurt eachother.
Darius jumped back as Big Eatie slammed into Pierce, he inadvertently steps on a tile.
"Good afternoon, Kash." An automated voice stated as Darius realized he had found the controls.
He then began moving the drones with his hands much like Kash did.
"Yes!" He shouted as he used the drones to push the dinos away from eachother.
They were finally separated as they no longer could cause harm to eachother.
Suddenly the door being opened started Darius.
He notices a BRAD coming through the door as he got off the control tile and ran into hiding.
This unfortunately made the drones go back into test formation as Pierce and Big Eatie began clashing again.
"No..." Darius stated in anguish.
He then turns to see the BRAD grab Kash's phone.
"No..." Darius repeats.
"The phone!" He shouted in a hushed tone.
He looks at the computer screen as he noticed Pierce and Big Eatie still killing eachother.
His head snapped between the dinos and that phone.
Darius' status as leader was being tested heavily today...what would he choose...the dinosaurs...or his friends...his family.
He knew which he would choose.
"I'm sorry..." Darius said to the dinosaurs before standing up swiftly.
"Argh!" He exclaimed as he ran at the BRAD with a poolstick.
Before the droid could even react, Darius drove the stick into it's head, rendering it inactive.
Darius let out a few heavy breaths as he kneeled and took the phone out of it's mouth.
He almost desperately began dialing his brother's number.
As the phone rang Darius could feel his heart pounding.
"Hello?" His brother's voice stated after the fourth ring.
"Hello!" Darius shouted, before the conversation could even continue a hand snatches the phone away from Darius.
He gasped as he turned and was face to face with none other than Kash.
"You are in a lot of trouble..." Kash stated darkly as Darius breathed heavily in fear at the man before him.
How was he possibly going to get himself out of this one?
