Neither Elizabeth nor John was a fan of early pregnancy, and she definitely couldn't wait until she was out of the first trimester. A sudden wave of dizziness overtook her as she stood up from her desk, and of course, her husband happened to be in the room. "And you're going straight back to bed," John ordered.

"I'm fine," she tried, insistent on doing her job. Atlantis kept her busy.

"Elizabeth," John warned.

"John!"

"NIce try, but come on. Let me take care of you." He needed to take care of her, make sure she and the baby were okay.

She sighed and gave in, still dizzy as hell. "Fine. But just know that I don't like this and I'm not a fucking fan."

He laughed. "Noted." He grabbed her shoulders and gently guided her back to their room, making sure to let everybody know that Elizabeth was down for the count for the time being.

Elizabeth felt just a little bit better once she was curled up in bed and she sighed in relief. "Still dizzy but much more manageable now." Hopefully the nausea wouldn't kick in any time soon - she definitely needed something like crackers, tea, or toast to keep the morning sickness at bay.

"Good. You need me to grab you anything, or have somebody get you something?" he checked.

"Some tea and saltine crackers would be nice." Wouldn't hurt to try two things instead of just one.

"Got it." He kissed her forehead then left their room. John returned less than ten minutes later and helped her sit up. "Thank you, John."

"You're welcome." She took a tip of her tea and started nibbling on the crackers, her stomach starting to settle.

John and Elizabeth couldn't wait to meet their little one - the countdown was on.
