For those that know me from my reaction fanfiction, Watch GX Abridge. I'm havin trouble finding the transcript to episode 11. If anyone has information on where to find it. I would appreciate it.
The 2 Obelisk blue students could not accept that Alexis was beaten by a Slifer red.
It was after class. "Alexis is the best girl among the blue students. There's no way, she could lose to someone from the red dorm".
Mindy nodded. "I know. She had him on the ropes until one lucky turn turned the duel in his favor. It was a simple fluke. He wouldn't be able to handle a duel against us and we're not as great as Alexis".
The auburn-haired girl nodded. "That's what we should to. Teach him a lesson he won't forget".
As for Jaden, he was currently with Syrus. Only the 2 of them at the moment. His P.D.A went off. He was surprised to see Jasmine. "Your win was a fluke. Me and Mindy will prove it. We'll be waiting at the beach. Be there"!
Jaden was actually excited. It sounded like a challenge to a duel. Syrus wasn't as sure. "I don't like this".
"Come on, Sy. Where's your enthusiasm"?
Syrus gave a weak, 'go team'.
When he got there, no one else was present except Mindy and Jasmine. Both had duel disks at the ready.
Mindy smirked. "It's time to teach you your place".
Jaden only smirked. "I'm always up for a duel".
Mindy turned to Jasmine. "I'll go first". Her and Jaden stood near the water. Both activated their duel disks, drew 5 cards and shouted in unison. "Duel"!
Mindy drew. "Ladies first". She looked at each card and made her move. "I summon King Tiger Wanghu in attack mode". A white armoured tiger with 1700 attack points appeared on the field. "And then I activate my spell Foolish Burial. This allows me to send one monster from my deck to the graveyard. I set a card face down and end my turn".
"Impressive. I draw". He looked at each card in his hand. "I summon Elemental Hero Clayman in defence mode". He had 2000 defence points, more that the tigers attack power. But her tiger had an effect of it's own.
"If you summon a monster with fourteen hundred or less attack points, my tiger automatically destroys it".
Jaden saw the tiger use it's claws to wipe out Clayman. Jaden sighed. "I set one card face down and end my turn".
Mindy smirked. "This will be easier than I thought. I draw. I summon Enraged Battle Ox in attack mode". Her wombat also had 1700 attack points. "Now, I'll use him to attack you directly".
"Not so fast, I activate my trap. A Hero Emerges".
Jasmine gritted her teeth. Mindy raised in eyebrow.
"You pick a card in my hand and if it's a monster, I get to summon it".
"Fine. The middle left".
"Thanks. I summon Sparkman in defence mode and he has sixteen hundred attack points, so he's safe from your tiger's effect".
"That might be true, but my Enraged Battle Ox also has a special ability. When a beast type attacks a defence mode monster, the difference is dealt to you in damage. Attack his Sparkman"!
Jaden: 3700
Mindy smirked. "Now, King Tiger Wanghu, attack him directly".
The tiger slashed Jaden with his claws and he fell to his knees.
Jaden: 2000
Mindy smirked. "Fitting that a Slifer like you would end up on his knees to a blue. I end my turn".
Jaden got back up. "I draw".
Mindy crossed her arms. "You should surrender and crawl back to that dorm of yours".
Jaden smirked. "And skip this awesome duel. No way. My turn. I activate Polymerization. I'll use it to fuse Elemental Heros Avian and Burstinatrix to summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman"!
Mindy seen that monster twice. Against both Crowler and Alexis. "Now go and take out her tiger! Sky dive scorcher"!
Mindy: 3600
Jaden smirked. "And because of his ability, your tiger's attack points are dealt to you as damage.
Mindy gasped as the fusion was in front of her. His fire power had her screaming.
Mindy: 1900
Jasmine glared. "That's no way to treat a lady, but what to expect from a red".
Mindy: 900
Syrus was confused. "Why did she lose one thousand more LifePoints"?
Mindy smirked. "Because a beast type monster on my field was destroyed, I can special summon Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest from my graveyard"!
Jaden gasped. 2600 hundred attack points. "When did you send that monster to your graveyard.
Jasmine was annoyed by the idiocy. "When she used Foolish Burial".
Jaden ended his turn with setting a card.
Mindy took her turn. "I draw. I'll summon Milus Radius in attack mode"! A catlike creature appeared on the field. Mindy smirked. "His ability increases all earth creatures by five hundred attack points"!
Jaden looked in awe as her monsters' attack points increased.
"Green Baboon. Attack his Wingman"! The fusion was taken out by the baboon's club.
Jaden: 1000
Enraged Battle Ox, attack him directly"!
Jaden had a card planned for that. "I activate my trap. Call of the Haunted. I can take back a monster from my my graveyard. Return Flame Wingman"!
Mindy was unimpressed. "You're stalling. Go Enraged Battle Ox"!
Wingman was taken out as quickly as he returned.
Jaden: 900
Mindy wasn't finished. "Go Miles Radius".
Jaden: 100
Mindy ended her turn.
Jaden drew. 'Negate attack. It can buy me an extra turn'. "I set one card face down". Before he could end his turn, Mindy was fed up.
"I knew you beating Alexis was a fluke. You failed to impress me. I'm ending this duel now. I activate the trap, Last Turn".
Jaden gasped. "Not that… What does it do"?
"It allows me to pick a monster on the field and send the others to the graveyard. You get to pick one from your deck. And the one standing at the end wins. And don't try picking one of your fusions, it has to come directly from your deck. Of course, you don't have anything that can beat by baboon. So, pick your monster to be slaughtered.
Jaden smirked. "I pick Elemental Hero Bladedge".
Mindy gasped. "It has the same attack points as my Green Baboon".
Jaden nodded. "That's right".
Both battled and both were wiped out. That meant the duel ended in one conclusion.
Syrus was surprised. "A draw"?
Jasmine was angry. "A draw? That's worse than losing".
Mindy couldn't believe it. "A draw? I ended up in a draw with a Slifer red"?
Jaden didn't mind the outcome. "And that's game".
Jasmine would teach him a lesson. "This isn't over. I'll avenge both Alexis and Mindy. You hear me"?
Jaden was excited. "Another duel. All right".
Jasmine stood where Mindy did. They each drew five cards from their deck and shouted in unison. "Duel"!
Jaden: 4000
Jasmine: 4000
Jaden went first this time. "I draw. I summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in attack mode. And I'll throw down two face downs. It's your move".
"I draw."! She used the card on the far left. ""I activate the spell, Heavy Storm. This destroys all spell and traps on the field"!
Jaden gasped. "Oh no"!
Jasmine gave a condescending smile.
Jaden saw both his Hero Barrier and Hero Signal destroyed.
"Next I summon Beautiful Headhuntress in attack mode". The female warrior had 1600 hundred attack points. "Now take out his Burstinatrix"!
Jaden: 3600
"That ends my turn".
"My move then. Draw"! "I summon Elemental Hero Clayman in defence mode. And with that I end my turn".
Jasmine huffed. "Pathetic. I draw".
Next, I sacrifice Headhuntress to Summon Dark Red Enchanter in attack mode".
It had 1700 attack points. So far. "Dark Red Enchanter gets two counters and her attack points increase by three hundred for each one she has". The attack points were now 2300. "Go Enchanter, destroy his Clayman". Once he was wiped, Jasmine wasn't finished. "Dark Red Enchanter allows me to remove two counters in exchange for sending one card in your hand to the graveyard".
Jaden saw his Mirage of Nightmare wiped out.
Jasmine took the card she drew this turn. "I set one card face down and end my turn".
"Alright. My move. I draw. I activate the field spell, Skyscraper".
"My Enchantress gains a counter and three hundred attack points because of that"!
Then I summon Elemental Hero Wildheart in attack mode. GO Wildheart. Attack her Red Enchantress".
Jasmine was about to play Mirror Force, until she remembered. 'Wildheart is immune to trap cards'.
Her Dark Red Enchantress left the field.
Jasmine: 3500
Jaden smirked. "I'm done for now".
"My turn. I draw! I activate the spell, Lightning Vortex"! She sent Mermaid Knight to the graveyard. "By discarding on card from my hand, I can destroy all face up monsters on your side of the field".
Jaden saw his Wildheart taken by a lightning strike.
"Next I summon Thunder Nyan Nyan in attack mode".
Syrus blushed at the sight of the card. "She' kinda cute. I wonder if i could find one"?
Now Thunder Nyan Nyan, attack that idiot directly".
Jaden covered himself from the attack.
Jaden: 1700
"I end my turn. Your move".
"All right. I draw. I summon the Elemental Hero Bubbleman in defence mode. And when he's alone on the field. I can draw 2 cards.
Jasmine drew. The drawn card was Majestic Mech – Goryu. It had 2900 attack points. Jasmine considered what to do. 'This is a very powerful card. If I use it now, I can take him down. Despite its level, I can sacrifice Thunder Nyan Nyan and her attack points will go to Goryu. And with it's ability it can inflict damage although Bubbleman is in defence mode. But I want to watch him squirm. I'll defeat him next turn. For now'.
"Thunder Nyan Nyan, attack his Bubbleman"!
Jaden covered himself from the explosion that seems to happen each time a monster is destroyed.
"I end my turn".
Jaden took his turn. He drew. He was pleased that he drew a monster card. "I set two cards. And I end my turn".
Jasmine shrugged. "Big deal. My move". She drew then played her ace. "I sacrifice Thunder Nyan Nyan to Summon Majestic Mech – Goryu"!
Jaden, Syrus and even Mindy gasped. Jaden was also confused. "How could play that for one sacrifice".
Jasmine crossed her arms. "I can play it by sacrificing one light monster and said card's attack power goes to Goryu". It had 4800 attack points. "Goryu attack"!
"Not so fast Jasmine, you activated my trap, A Hero Emerges"!
Mindy was annoyed. "Aw come on"!
Jaden explained. "You select one card in my hand and it it's a monster, I get to summon it. But since I only got one card in my hand.
Thanks. I Summon Bladedge in attack mode".
"Big deal. Even with him, you'll lose anyway. Attack him and end this duel".
"I activate my Trap. Hammer Edge. By sacrificing Bladedge, the original attack of your destroyed monster is dealt to you as damage".
The destruction of Goryu was so powerful that it knocked Jasmine onto her back.
Jasmine: 600
Mindy was concerned. "Jasmine, are you alright".
Jasmine slowly got back to her feet. "You'll pay for that. I draw. I summon Future Samurai in attack mode. Attack him directly".
Jaden: 100
Jasmine was thinking. 'I should have defeated him when I had the chance. It doesn't matter. He can't do anything now'. "I end my turn".
Jaden nodded. "I draw. I activate the spell Fifth Hope. It allows me to take five elemental heroes from my grave and shuffle the into my deck. And since I got no other cards, i can draw three from my deck. I activate the field spell, Fusion Gate. This lets me remove 2 elemental heroes to fusion summon. I remove Avian and Burstinatrix to fusion summon Flame Wingman"!
Jaden smirked. "Go! skydive scorcher"!
Jasmine: 100
And your destroyed monsters attack points are dealt to you as damage"!
Jasmine's eyes widened. "No"
"Yes".
Jasmine: 0
Jaden smirked. "And that's game".
Jasmine fell on her knees. "I can't believe I was beaten by a Slifer red".
Mindy went to Jasmine who glared at Jaden. "This isn't over".
Mindy nodded. "We'll get you back some day"!
Jaden and Syrus watched as the girls fled. Syrus sighed. "You really got a way with women; you know that J"?
"I got two awesome duels. I can't wait until we duel again". Syrus sighed and they went back to their dorm.
Author's Note
I assume that the reason Mindy and Jasmine's skills are mediocre, is because they don't take dueling as serious as Alexis does. That's the reason they do better here than in the anime. They got a reason to.
