10 MONTHS BEFORE THE TRAGEDY.
NARRATOR WITH BRITISH ACCENT:
What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'God'? An ephemeral individual of high power and stature? Someone with so much importance that his name is praised around the world? Or perhaps the category itself. Could there be more than one creator of the universe? Could these entities share their prowess to the masses?
These are many of the questions that conspirators continue to ask to this day. However, hidden in a closet at the bottom of many questions there are also this one;
If gods really exist. How are they born?
It all begins in a planet far far away. A very intriguing planet to be blunt. But one of extraordinary importance to all of existence.
Astraulium.
Astraulium is a one of a kind world, as it is the homeland of gods and goddesses, with a world population of 100 billion inhabitants.
It is also my former homeland, but i'm sure you've figured this out by now.
Anyway, Like I said. Astraulium is a very special world. And I want to introduce it to you, dear viewers.
I hope you enjoy this little *story*...
(NOTE: I just realized that this sounda amost exacly like the the first chapter for The first Dimensional heroes part LMAO that was not intentional i swear.

"Ngh...Ngh..."
Ah! darkness. The beautiful, beautiful darkness. The dark, silent black brings me peace. My mother says that humans are afraid of the dark, and that I can't show myself too much. But what about the night? She's different. Quiet and serene.
It is as beautiful as my house. At night is where everyone relaxes. A sad and quiet sleep. Where there is no noise around. And when I'm like this. With my eyes closed at night, I don't have to worry about anything. Waking up on time, going to my first day of class. Nothing matters when I'm like this. That's why I love the night. Because this way, I can have the best sleep experience. My parents should try to sleep too. In fact. All gods should.
What's the problem with doing something without any objective? Everyone has to relax somehow.

...
Hmm? Strange... For some reason I feel in danger...
Nah. It's probably-
"GET YOUR ASS UP, YOUNG LADY"!
!!!
"AHHHHH!!! OUCH!! OUCH!!! OUCH!!" I'm suddenly woken up by a severe pain in my head. Like if something just hit me.
"Wake up now you miserable excuse for a goddess!"
"WAIT, WAIT, MOM! I'M AWAKE, I'M AWAKE..." I quickly I step out of my comfort zone. In that case. My blankets and pillows. To come across a thousand-year-old woman with purple hair and red frown...*Sigh* Mom...You never change.
"...Yeah. I'm awake see? *Laughs nervously* you don't need to hit me anymore, right?"
"Grrr... The nerve of this child." She muttered to herself with the intention of not letting me hear her. Too bad i still did hear her.
I jumped out of bed and approached my mother, while laughing to myself. "Hey, What's for breakfast?" I said before being met with more lecturing.
"Don't give me that now, Young lady. You're 10 minutes late for your first day of school." *Sigh* So much for sleep. The bad thing is that it doesn't last for long. "This is a big moment in your eternity, so buckle up and take a course in your career for once!"
"Hold up, its only the first day. Barely anything happens-" I was about to say before she held my cheeks and dragged me around. "Ouch! Wait, at least let me eat first."
After being dragged away by my mother, the first thing I was forced to do was use cleansing on myself. Basically. I washed myself with my principle. All gods can do this.
Oh! True, I almost forgot. My name is Selenara Nocturnia Umbralesis Mystaria Lunara... Long full name, right? This is also a thing of gods. Apparently humans have much shorter names. From what I've seen, most of the time it depends on the country... *Sigh* another thing I envy from them.
But go be very brief. I am a goddess in training. And I live in this place called Astralium. It's like a planet of gods, where all the inhabitants are... well, gods. I am one of them. There are gods for all kinds of things, and each one is born with a purpose in mind. Most of these being inherited from their parents. I'm not very good at this kind of thing but basically. When a god baby is born. It needs to be looked after for 50 years. After this age, *infancy* is where babies learn to talk and walk.
That's another 50 years. After that comes *Pre-adolescence*. That's my phase at the moment. This is where all gods in training need to improve their functions further, going to a school specialized in turning them into primary gods. Well, this was already something that existed even in infancy, even at that age we went to some pre-schools. But we didn't do anything much. It was more about learning the basics.
That's not the case with Pre-adolescence however. The things there are much more...Well how should I put it...Practical? I guess that can do.
Anyway. I'm going there this year for the first time. Which School am I going to? Nothing special. Only the most popular god based school in all of Astralium. SOTW.
Now I could go on about the history of ths school and stuff...But that's just not very interesting. So i'll skip that part.
Anyway. My parents are very big fans of this place. I mean they did stay there for 50 years. Which is why i'm being dragged around by them like the wind.

Alright. I'm done.
(I like distributing images of how the Characters look like. https/i.postimg.cc/pTKcmRq2/Screenshot-20240628-120235-Gacha-Life-2.jpg)
n my daily outfit and headed straight out to the kitchen where i was forced to eat as fast as i could. I think eating the only thing my parents do that is not mandatory for us. Gods can't starve but we do it anyway cuz who wouldn't? Its really fun!
In my family there's my mom,dad and me, if you're wondering.
Anyway, after finishing everything. Mom just shoves me out of the house with so much force the god of strenght would be proud.
"AHHHH!" I yelled in a funny way as i I fall face down on the floor.
POOF*
As I groggily picked myself up off the ground, I muttered to myself, "Great start to the first day. Well I guess that's mom to you." The sun was rising, casting a golden hue over Astralium. Gods of all ages were heading towards SOTW, their conversations a low hum of anticipation and excitement.
I quickly dusted myself off and hurried down the shimmering pathway leading to the school.
Selenara's mother, Luminara, paced the living room, her purple hair flowing behind her like a stormy cloud. She muttered to herself, her frustration evident.
"Ungodly behavior... Late on the first day... No respect for divine responsibilities..." Luminara's voice trailed off as she continued to fume.
Selene's father, Noctis, sat calmly in his favorite armchair, watching his wife's agitation with a patient smile. His demeanor was a stark contrast to Luminara's fiery temper. He had always been the more understanding parent, and his dark, thoughtful eyes reflected his patience.
"Luminara, dear," Noctis began, his voice gentle, "Selenara is still young. She'll learn in time. It's her first day at SOTW. We can't expect perfection right away."
Luminara stopped pacing and turned to face him, her red eyes flashing with a mix of concern and exasperation. "But Noctis, she has such potential! She needs to take this seriously. Being a goddess is not something to be taken lightly."
Noctis nodded, acknowledging her point. "I understand, but remember when we were her age? We made our share of mistakes too. It's part of the learning process. Selenara just needs some guidance and encouragement."
Luminara sighed, her shoulders relaxing slightly. "I know you're right. It's just... I worry about her. She's so different from other gods her age."
"That's what makes her special," Noctis replied with a reassuring smile. "Her uniqueness will be her strength. We just need to be patient and support her."
Luminara sat down beside him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I suppose you're right. It's just hard not to worry."
Noctis wrapped an arm around her, comforting her with his presence. "We'll guide her, just as our parents guided us. Selenara will find her way, in her own time."
As I walked through the streets of Astralium like a lovable dork, the sky above was filled with the graceful silhouettes of grown gods flying to their destinations. Their majestic forms cut through the morning light, leaving trails of shimmering energy in their wake. Why? Well. In Astraulium.
Flying was the primary mode of transportation for us gods. But i rather not do it since its pretty tiring. Honestly, walking is more fun to me. I usually only fly whenever i'm forced to or when i think its nessesary. Do you know how much crap can pop out of existence just to hit you on the face 70 times in sequence? Nope. I'm walking.
I looked up in awe, watching as the goddess of dawn glided across the sky while yawning, her wings spreading hues of pink and gold that painted the heavens. Beside her, the god of winds rode the air currents effortlessly, his movements fluid and commanding. It was a sight that never ceased to inspire me.
"Superly cool!" I said as let out one of my favorite trademark lines. Superly. Why do i like it so much? I don't know. Maybe cuz i just like the way it sounds.
"I bet if she was here she would say something like 'I can do it too. And better' before doing a show of lights in the middle of the road." I said to myself referring to my bestie. If you're wondering she is a goddess like myself. Well obviously. Maybe i can talk about her some other time.
Anyway. Walking through the streets of Astralium, I was always struck by their coolness. The streets were paved with a smooth, type of material that shined like stardust, reflecting the light from the celestial lamps that lined the pathways.
Hehe. I'm starting to sound like mom whenever she's not scolding me. Anyway the lamps, here are crafted from rare crystals, and they make a soft, multicolored glow that shifted gently with the time of day.
For example. When its morning. The color is stuck at Yellow. And at night. It changes to purple. Pretty cool don't you think?
Well, i do think they should turn it off jussst a little bit. It gets a little in the way for sleeping.
Lining these streets were buildings that were freaking huge! They soared into the sky. Each of these buildings are pretty good demonstrations of how creative some gods can be. Some buildings had walls of crystalline glass that sparkled like a million stars, while others were constructed from materials that seemed to shift and change with the light. Kinda like water.
Somepeople might say that its too overbearing, but i like it personally. I mean. Anything with purple may receive a certificate of approval from me! Is that how they say it? Well, it doesn't matter.
On my left, I passed the Lumina Library, an imposing edifice. Did you know its material is literal light? Its spires reached high into the sky, and beams of light constantly flowed from its peak, symbolizing the endless pursuit of knowledge. I could see scholars inside. The lumina library is the most popular library in Astralium. And its founder is apparently, Athena, the goddess of wisdom's successor. Which is probably why it's so popular. Or maybe not. I've never been there myself. Which now that I think about it. That's pretty weird of me. Reading is pretty good for sleep...
...
You know what. It wouldn't hurt to go take a little peek. I got time after all.
Without thinking twice. I entered the Library.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm, golden light, which somehow didn't blind me. The interior of the Lumina Library was even more breathtaking than its exterior. Shelves upon shelves of books stretched up to the high, vaulted ceiling, each one glowing softly with divine energy. The air was filled with a faint, comforting hum, like the gentle whisper of a thousand pages turning at once...Hey I getting good at this filosophical stuff!
The library was bustling with activity, yet it maintained a serene atmosphere, I already dig. Anyplace that's comfy is my type of place. Gods of all ages were seated at tables, absorbed in their reading or deep in quiet conversation. The scent of ink mixed with the faint aroma of celestial blossoms, creating an environment that felt both ancient and timeless.
In the center of the library was a grand statue of Athena, her form rendered in flawless marble. Her eyes seemed to watch over the entire space, imparting a sense of wisdom and calm. The pedestal at her feet was inscribed with the words: "Knowledge is the path to enlightenment."
"Ok... I don't really understand...Well whatever." I decided not to try to understand.
There were ancient tomes bound in leather, their pages filled with weird runes and symbols. There were modern texts, their covers adorned with vibrant illustrations and titles that promised to unlock the secrets of the universe. I even saw scrolls and tablets, some glowing with arcane magic, others etched with the delicate script of... some language I can't decipher.
Drawn by curiosity, I approached a section labeled "Celestial Lore." I pulled out a volume titled "The Mysteries of the Night," its cover embossed with silver stars.
"Hehe. This one story already got my fix on! Look at this colorful cover, Oh! And the Superly Stars too. Selenara approves!" I say while pulling out a big smile.
I found a comfortable spot near a large window that overlooked a tranquil garden. The view was very superly, with flowers that glowed softly in the dim light and a small fountain that shimmered like liquid crystal.
"I won't be harmful if I do a little preview first before I bring this home, right?"
I settled in, losing myself in the book's enchanting stories.
Time seemed to slip away as I read, the outside world fading into the background. It was a rare moment of peace, a chance to escape the pressures of my divine training and immerse myself in the beauty of the written word.
Just as I was beginning a particularly intriguing chapter. a gentle voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Enjoying your reading?"
I looked up to see a tall, elegant figure standing beside me. She had this aura of quiet strength and intelligence that kind of overwhelmed me.
"Uh, yes, very much," I replied, feeling slightly embarrassed at being caught so absorbed in my book.
She smiled warmly. "I'm glad to hear that. The Lumina Library is a place for all gods to explore and expand their knowledge. Feel free to stay as long as you like."
"Thank you," I said, feeling a sense of gratitude. "I think I will."
The young woman tilted her head slightly, studying me with kind, intelligent eyes. "Are you a student at SOTW?"
"Yes," I replied, nodding. "I just started today."
Her smile widened. "That's wonderful to hear. My daughter, Sophia, the goddess of knowledge, is also enlisted there. She just left a few minutes ago."
I felt a surge of excitement. "Sophia? I've heard about her. She seems pretty superly!"
Right. I've definitely heard that name before. Sophianara. She is the great representative of this library. Some call her 'She who strategizes'. She has already won several awards, one of them for the largest blueprint ever created in Astralium.
"Superly?" She asked with a raised eyebrown.
"Oh nothing. Its just a little catchphase of mine. Don't mind me." I quickly answeared awkwardly.
"If you say so." She decided to let go thankfully. "Anyway, i'm sure The woman chuckled softly. "She'll be pleased to hear that."
But as the woman began to walk away, she suddenly paused and turned back to me, a motherly concern evident in her eyes. One i'm very used to. "You know, young lady, it's already been ten minutes since school started. You should probably head there quickly."
My eyes widened in realization. I did it again! "Oh no, you're right! I completely lost track of time." Honestly i couldn't careless to be late on the first day of school but I know very well what awaits me if that happens. 3 hours of lecturing!
She chuckled softly. "Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. Hurry along now, and good luck on your first day."
"Feel free to visit the library anytime. There's always something new to discover here."
"Thank you! I definitely will!" I said, my voice tinged with nervous excitement. Clutching my book tightly, I quickly put it back on the shelf and made a beeline for the exit. Why does this always happen to me?!
I started running like my immortal life was at stake, my footsteps echoing through the streets of Astralium. I could almost feel the time slipping away, but I was determined to make it to school as quickly as possible.
But then, out of the corner of my eye, I caught sight of the Celestial Market. The vibrant colors and enticing aromas pulled my senses. Merchants were calling out, showcasing their divine wares, and the air was filled with a cacophony of sounds and scents that were almost impossible to ignor-
"No, Selene," I muttered to myself, trying to keep my focus. "You have to get to school. You can't get distracted again, girl. You don't want to lose 3 hours of sleep because of mom..."
I pushed forward, my pace quickening, but the market's allure was strong. My steps slowed, and I found myself glancing back over my shoulder at the market stalls, each one more fascinating than the last.
"Just keep running," I told myself sternly. "You don't have...Time for this."
But my resolve wavered. The thought of exploring the market, even for a few minutes, was so tempting. I pictured the delightful celestial fruits, the enchanting trinkets, and the chance to see more of Astralium's wonders up close.

"Maybe just a quick look," I reasoned, my feet already turning towards the market. "I can be fast."
ONE DAY AGO.
The boy awake outside. Orion appears to be training with his principle, as he is trying to make various firecrackers made of his fire. After successfully creating them and sending them to the skies, he looks at his wristwatch and realizes the time.
Orion's firecrackers exploded in a brilliant display of colors, illuminating the morning sky with bursts of orange, red, and gold. The spectacle was breathtaking, the kind of display that always drew admiring glances from those below. Orion's control over his principle had grown over the years, and he took great pride in his ability to create such awe-inspiring shows.
"Another perfect launch," he said to himself, a satisfied grin spreading across his face.
He then decides to check his wristwatch, a sleek device made of shimmering gold and infused with solar energy. His eyes widened as he saw the time.
"Morning already, huh?" He says to himself. Upon realizing this, Orion groaned loudly. "Great, just perfect," he muttered to himself. He glanced at the sun, still low in the sky, and knew what he had to do. With a deep breath, he summoned all of his power, feeling the immense energy build up within him.
"Time to speed things up," he said through gritted teeth.
He extended his arms towards the horizon, focusing his entire being on the task at hand. Slowly, the sun began to rise faster, its light growing stronger and brighter. The effort required was enormous, and Orion could feel his strength waning with each passing second.
Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he pushed himself to the limit, his muscles straining and his breath coming in short gasps. Finally, with a final burst of effort, he managed to bring the sun to its proper position in the sky.
Exhausted, Orion dropped to his knees, panting heavily. "Why... does this... always... happen to me?" he wheezed, his vision swimming. He felt drained, his normally boundless energy sapped by the exertion.
"Dammit," he swore under his breath, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Next time, I'll set an alarm."
TO BE CONTINUEF.
