Amy

Chapter 3

Amy probably was the happiest she had been since "the discovery". She and Lisa had talked the whole time in class when they were supposed to be working on the project. Her teacher was not happy but now she got to go to Lisa's house to work on the project! She was so happy when her parents said yes she ignored the "Amy's finally socializing" looks.

That night Amy couldn't stop thinking about Lisa. She was so nice and they had a lot in common! After a while Amy just ignored how familiar her eyes looked and focused on the more important detail; she was going to Lisa's house tomorrow.

The next day Amy walked over to Lisa's house with a goofy grin on her face which she managed to wipe off before Lisa opened the door. Obviously she was just as excited as Amy because the first thing she did was say,

"Hi Bella! Come in! I'm so excited your here!

"Me too" said Amy

As she stepped through the door Amy admired Lisa's house. It was so beautiful. Not as pretty as the elves houses but you could tell that Lisa's family was rich.

"Come on!" Lisa said grabbing Amy by the arm and pulling her up the stairs and into her bedroom.

"My dad isn't her right now" Lisa said as she and Amy sat down on her bed. "His Boss pulls him into the office at random times but he should be back soon,"

"What about your mom?" Asked Amy

Lisa looked at her for a second like she was deciding something.

"My mom died when I was two," said Lisa finally.

"Oh my gosh Lisa! I am so sorry!" Said Amy. She had been devastated when her parents had been taken so she couldn't imagine knowing she would never see her mom again.

then The doorbell rang

"Oh look at that its my dad!" said Lisa changing the subject. "Ill go get him and introduce you!" Lisa hopped off the bed and ran downstairs.

It gave Amy a little time to think. None of her friends had ever lost a parent before though her sister had been through worst losing her whole family. Sometimes Amy felt really guilty that for almost three years she had forgotten all about Sophie while she had been kidnapped and hurt and a number of other things.

"Bella this is my dad' Lisa said gesturing to the man beside her.

What she saw was something she would never forget.

Her heart beat faster as she looked at Lisa's dad. Swept blond hair, a perfect ageless face and those bright blue eyes.

Lisa's dad was Gethen.
