Chapter 4
This can't be happening thought Amy. Gethen is an elf! Not a human.
Amy remembered that Gethen was Neverseen's telepath and could be listening to her as she sat there panicking.
"hello. I take it you must be Bella" said Gethen.
"yeah" replied Amy who started to calm herself down. She couldn't let Gethen know who she was. So she made up a lie.
Amy carried her phone wherever she went so when she got a spam call she took it as an opportunity. She pulled the phone out of her pocket and "answered" it.
"hello?" She said to the false caller, "oh".
"My dad said there's been an emergency and wants me to come home," she told Lisa and Gethen as she hung up.
"oh no! I hope everything's ok!" Said Lisa
"I'm sure its fine. Well bye I guess" said Amy as she picked up her stuff and ran out the door.
When she opened the door her dad immediately asked why she was home so early and she told him she wasn't feeling great and was going to go lye down which, was the truth.
She rested her head on her pillow and began some very deep thinking.
How is this even possible? Thought Amy. Gethen is an elf and Lisa is a human is far is I know! There is like a 0.0000001% chance that Gethen just married a human- she paused at the horrible realization. Oh no, Lisa's mom was... Murdered.
Amy felt awful. And if Lisa ever found out it would ruin her whole life.
Then Amy glanced over to her dresser. Her dresser where she kept her emergency imparter.
She walked over, opened the drawer, pulled out the pale cube and said,
"Sophie Foster"
