I had this idea, so I wanted to go ahead and write it out! I'm going to be adding my twist on this story/plot. It won't completely follow the movie, comic, or anime because there will be some slight/major changes along the way of the plot!

I hope you all enjoy it!

Please tell me what you think and review! I'd love to hear your thoughts.

An Open Heart

Naruto sighed, seeing the state of his cheap apartment. It wasn't the prettiest, but it was alright for him. He lived in Toronto his entire life and didn't travel outside his hometown.

He finally made his way back home after a long day of helping some older ladies down the road with their yard work. He only really did some odd jobs for money, as he wasn't in desperate need of it.

Why not? Simple, he made a good amount of money off his royalty check that came in the mail each month.

When he was sixteen years old, he was playing his bass guitar on a park bench. As he was strumming along, he was approached by an older gentleman in a suit. To his surprise, the man claimed he was the talent manager for a popular band in the United States.

The man offered Naruto an upfront payment, along with royalty checks, if he would be willing to write a song for the band. Naruto didn't hesitate and agreed, thinking it would be pretty awesome.

Something that Naruto was gifted with, was his love of music. This meant he could play a variety of instruments and had some recording equipment as well, a gift that he received from his parents.

After recording the soundtrack, melody, lyrics, and rift, Naruto sent off the recording to the talent manager's email. He was surprised to see that he was paid through a wire transfer to his parent's bank account, as he didn't have one at the time. Eventually, he got the payments shifted over to his bank account.

He didn't know how well the song performed, but he assumed it was quite good given he was still receiving royalty checks. As long as the sales continued, he would continue getting paid. And it paid well.

Deciding to take a shower, Naruto eventually walked out and looked at himself in the bathroom mirror. His blonde hair and blue eyes stared back at him as he wiped the mirror from the steam it accumulated.

He was at the age of twenty-three years old and lived in a cheap apartment. This was mainly because he wanted to save money, and also because he was in a band, so a lot of his money went to the band's equipment.

Staring at his phone's clock, he realized his band rehearsal would be in two hours. Deciding to take a quick break, he went to his kitchen and made some food for himself.

Hearing a buzz on his phone, he picked it up and realized it was his mother.

"Naru!" his mother yelled over the phone, "You didn't call me back yesterday!"

"Sorry Mom," Naruto said with a sheepish smile, "I got busy and it slipped my mind."

He heard his mother huff over the phone, "Are you still practicing your martial arts?"

This made Naruto smile, remembering the reason he began practicing, to begin with. When he was younger, he had a bad temper problem due to kids picking on him. Given this, his parents decided to place him in martial arts classes so he could let out his anger.

It was safe to say that no bullies picked on him anymore after he learned how to fight.

His mother, Kushina Uzumaki, was a nurse in a hospital in Toronto. She was of Japanese descent and had flaming red hair, something that he wished he had gotten from her.

His father, Minato Namikaze, was also of Japanese descent. However, he was also half American as his mother was from the States. He worked as an aerospace engineer, which meant he was often busy and away.

They both had moved to Canada when his mother fell pregnant with him, as his father's job was in high demand within the country. He was born in Toronto and loved the scenery around him.

Now while his parents did make good money, he was always focused on supporting himself so his parents wouldn't be burdened financially. That's one reason that he liked his royalty checks, and it's another reason that he put himself through college.

He had graduated a year prior with a bachelor's in business, as he one day wanted to possibly create his own music business. This of course was a dream for now, but it would hopefully build the foundation if he ever wanted to pursue it. He only played music for fun now, not taking it as a career option just yet.

He loved his parents, especially since they always supported his love of music. Ever since he was a young kid, his parents always helped fuel his passion whenever possible. While he could play the piano, saxophone, guitar, and drums, he preferred playing his bass. He also played it in his band.

Eventually, Naruto finished the conversation with his mother and hung up the phone. He also finished his food, putting away the dirty dishes in the sink.

Hearing the door open, he turned his head and watched as his roommate walked in.

"Hey Wallace," Naruto said, watching as his roommate wiped his feet on the doormat.

This was Wallace Wells, a sassy, sarcastic friend.

"Hey Ruto," Wallace said, tossing his car keys onto the kitchen counter, "Long day?"

"You have no idea man," Naruto grinned, happy to see his roommate once more.

The reason Naruto was able to afford this apartment so easily, was because of his roommate Wallace. He had applied and moved in only two months before Wallace joined the lease. It didn't take long for the two to become friends.

"Going to practice with your Sex Bomb band?" Wallace said while taking off his coat.

Naruto sighed, "Man I told you…it's Sex Bom-Omb…"

Wallace snorted, "We both know that name sucks."

"It does!" Naruto raised his hands in annoyance, "I wanted to name it something cool, like Nine-Tails! But no, we had to go with the stupid name!"

He personally liked the old folklore tale his mother used to read to him.

"Better than that Kid Chameleon thing you had going on in college though," Wallace answered.

The blonde nodded, "True… anything was better than how that thing ended."

Getting ready to head out for rehearsal, Naruto fared his roommate farewell.

Later On – At Band Rehearsal

"Ready team?" Stephen Stills asked, tuning his guitar. He was an older man, with brown hair and a short stubble for a beard.

"Yes!" Kim Pine yelled out, readying her drumsticks. She was a red-headed girl with freckles on her face.

"Alright, let's do this!" Naruto screamed out, bringing up his bass.

"One, two, three!" they all shouted at once before Kim began banging on her drums.

The group were all friends and had been for many years. In the past, Naruto and Kim felt some romantic tension between them, but they had never officially dated. The only ex Naruto had… was a girl who broke his heart.

"WOOHOO!" shouted out a dark-haired Asian girl, screaming her heart out. She was there, supporting the band alongside another teenager.

This young girl was Knives Chau, a 17-year-old high school student who knew Naruto. He was her academic tutor who helped her with her school assignments. They had known each other after their mothers introduced them to one another.

Naruto's mother, Kushina, had met Knives's mother while working. The two then chatted about their kids, and Naruto was then assigned as Knives's school tutor.

The girl appreciated the blonde's help, so she supported him whenever she could. He saw her as a little sister.

As for the young man next to her, that was Young Neil, whose real name was Neil Nordegraf. He was a 'roadie' for the band, often going to every one of their rehearsals. He also wanted to be just like Naruto, as he found him to be the coolest member.

He sometimes dressed like the blonde and even dyed his hair blonde at one point to be like Naruto. He was also being trained in learning how to play bass by the blonde.

Overall, they had a small group of great friends.

Feeling the rhythm of the music, Naruto lost himself in the world of sound. He loved practicing music and playing with others only amplified that feeling.

Once their rehearsal was over, the group settled into some small talk.

Feeling a buzz on his phone, Naruto checked his text messages and saw a familiar name pop up.

Lisa Miller – "Hey Blondie! Don't forget to send me photos of your band playing! I want to post them on my walls!"

Naruto chuckled before typing in his phone.

Naruto Uzumaki – "I won't! I hope you get that new gig you're looking for!"

This was another friend of Naruto's, Lisa Miller. She had moved away to the U.S. when they were still in high school to pursue an acting career. She was a sweet, caring girl and he was appreciative of her support.

"Enough resting!" Kim shouted out with a gleam in her eyes, "More playing!" She loved smacking on her drums.

Naruto laughed before bringing his bass back up.

It looks like they will be busy today.

Later that Night

After returning home to his apartment, Naruto fell asleep rather quickly. He had crashed out on their couches in the living room of their apartment, while Wallace slept in the only bedroom. Wallace often had many of his hookups over, but tonight was not one of those nights. Those days were long gone, as Wallace now had a steady boyfriend.

However, as he slept on their couches, he fell into a deep sleep. This night would soon come to produce a very strange dream.

Snapping open his eyes, Naruto looked around in surprise. He was on a beach's shore, with waves crashing upon the sand. He got up and dusted himself off, feeling confused.

"Hello?" The blonde shouted out, "HELLO!?"

There was no response, as he was the only occupant around. He began walking down the beach, feeling the water splash around him while the sand softly crunched under his feet.

Hearing some rollerblades upon the rocks near the shoreline, he turned his head and was instantly stunned.

There, riding right by him, was a girl with purple hair, long jeans, roller blades, and a black jacket. She had a package slung over her shoulder while she skated along the shoreline, specifically along the rocks.

"Wow…" Naruto thought with a blush, "She's stunning."

Naruto liked to think he had seen pretty girls in his life before, but this girl seemed otherworldly to him. She was incredibly beautiful in his opinion, and her colored hair was something that he found rather attractive.

Her entire being just drew him to her. He truly never thought he had seen such a pretty girl before, and he was left speechless. Normally he wouldn't act like a schoolboy with a crush, but he didn't know how else to react.

The girl seemed to pay him a quick glance, looking over her shoulder as she skated by. As she did, he heard her mumble something under her breath.

"I've never skated past a beach before, that's a first."

Snapping his eyes open, Naruto sat up with a gasp. He didn't realize a dream could feel so… real.

His gasp caught the ears of Wallace, as he opened his bedroom door with tired eyes.

"Hey man," Wallace yawned out, "You good?"

"Yeah, sorry," Naruto rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, "Just some girl in my dream, it was nothing."

Wallace gave a good look before turning around, "If you say so…I just hope you didn't soil your pants. Those are some nice couches."

Blinking a few times, Naruto finally got the innuendo, "IT WASN'T A WET DREAM, YOU ASSHOLE!"

"Yeah, whatever," Wallace tossed his hand over his shoulder, "Just don't let me catch you wanking it."

Hearing the door slam, Naruto fumed at letting his friend have the last laugh. Wallace was truly a sassy person when he wanted to be.

Laying back down on the couch, he looked up at the ceiling and thought about the girl he saw. She was somebody who took his breath away, despite how cliché that sounded.

Looking down at his phone, he began typing.

Naruto Uzumaki – "Hey, you up?"

A few minutes later, he received a reply.

Lisa Miller – "Yeah I am, is everything okay? It's late at night."

Naruto Uzumaki – "I know this is gonna sound super dumb, but I met a girl in my dreams. She was like… the DREAM girl!"

Lisa Miller – "Are you telling me you texted me this late, because you met the girl of your dreams… in a dream?"

Naruto blushed in embarrassment before responding.

Naruto Uzumaki – "Well… when you put it like that… yes."

Lisa Miller - "…Goodnight Blondie, I'll speak to you in the morning."

Falling back onto the couch with a sigh, Naruto allowed a small smile to spread across his face. He didn't believe in love at first sight, but something about this girl attracted him to her.

He hoped he could run into her again.

When the next day rolled around, Naruto went out with Knives to have fun. He promised the younger girl they could hang out as he wanted her to have a special day. She often came over to their band practices, so it was only fair he also spent time with her.

Hitting the arcade, the two began to play a few guitar games, in which Naruto got the top score. As for Knives, she tried her best but often had trouble hitting the farthest button with her pinky.

They also played skeeball, a racing simulator, and air hockey. After playing a few machines that offered tickets, and hitting the jackpots on them, Naruto earned Knives a plushy. It was a stuffed animal that looked like a miniature seal.

Once they were done at the arcade, Naruto allowed Knives where to go next. Deciding to change up some of her fashion, the two hit the local thrift shop down the road. After entering and looking around, the two made some purchases.

Knives purchased a yellow tank top and black jeans with a dark maroon belt. She also got a pair of new shoes that were black with a golden buckle.

As for Naruto, he purchased a long-sleeved black shirt with no design on it. He also purchased some dark cargo pants, at the request of Knives. Apparently, it was some new fashion trend he didn't quite understand, but he bought them nonetheless. He also purchased a gray beanie to help with the cold weather in Toronto.

They placed their goods within their respective backpacks.

Finally, at Knives's request, they visited a local music shop. It housed a multitude of different CDs, albums, and other music. They visited the store and looked around, eyeing anything that could interest them.

While talking about a certain band, Naruto overheard a voice call out to him. Looking over, he saw Julie Powers, a twenty-two-year-old woman who had long brown hair. She had rounded glasses with dark eyes prying at him.

"Hey Naruto, are you coming to my party this Friday or not?" Julie asked in a bored tone. "Stephen wanted me to ask."

"Hey Julie…" Naruto trailed off, "Probably, I'm not too sure yet. Have to see if I'm free that day or not," he answered with a fake smile.

Naruto didn't know why she often talked to him with passive aggressiveness in her voice, but he didn't care. He tried his best to keep his manners, despite him wanting to ignore the woman altogether. He couldn't be rude to one of his friend's girlfriends.

"Look, look!" Knives interrupted their conversation, walking over with a CD in her hand. "It's The Clash at Demonhead! I can't believe their new album is out so soon!"

"Yeah," Naruto yanked the CD out of her hand and placed it elsewhere, "Trust me when I say they're no good."

"What?" Knives asked with a cock of her head as a massive question mark appeared above, "But I totally love them! They have such great music!"

"Yeah…but their lead vocalist isn't that great of a person," Naruto admitted while walking out of the music shop, "Let's just say I knew her personally and she's a bad person, enough said."

Deciding to not push the issue any longer, Knives just nodded while walking beside Naruto. Seeing that their day was coming to a close, Knives decided to finish one last thing on her schedule before it got too late.

"Can we head to the library?" Knives asked, "I need to check out some books for school."

"Yeah that's fine," Naruto nodded, "It's not like we're in a rush to get the day over with."

Talking as they walked, the duo soon appeared in their local library. He helped Knives with the books she needed, as a few were out of her reach. After placing all the books they needed in a pile on his arms, the two began walking downstairs to check them out.

As they did, Naruto widened his eyes at what he saw.

There, at the checkout counter, was the girl in his dreams. She was in the middle of checking out a book and speaking to the clerk.

"Holy shit! She's real!" Naruto thought in surprise, not expecting to see her so soon. After looking at her up close, he could tell she was really beautiful. He didn't know if he imagined it or not, but he could have sworn stars and glitter flowed around her form as he stared at her.

The girl grabbed her book and spared Naruto one last glance. However, this time, she had a small smirk before rollerblading out the door.

Looking back and forth between the two, Knives gained a mischievous smile, "Sooo…do you know her Naruto?" She wanted to use this opportunity to tease somebody she saw as an older brother.

Naruto didn't answer her, still standing there stunned. He didn't believe he saw her so soon, especially so close.

"Naruto? Hellloooo? Naruto?" Knives snapped her fingers a few times to get his attention.

The blonde snapped out of it and shook his head. That girl had an effect on him.

That Following Friday – At Julie's

"Well…this sucks…" Naruto huffed out, feeling bored.

He was currently hanging out with Young Neil and Kim. They were all holding cups with their respective drink in them.

"Oh yeah it does," Kim said while gulping down her drink. Once finished, she wiped her mouth and looked over at both. "There's a group over there taking some shots, interested in tagging along?"

"I'm in!" Young Neil said while placing his cup on a nearby counter.

"You joining?" Kim asked while looking at their bass player. She had a small smile on her face.

"I'm good," Naruto waved off, "I'm not really in the mood to get drunk, I'll just take it easy for tonight."

Kim stared at the blonde one last second before shrugging her shoulder, "If you say so, but the invite's still there if you want to take it."

Young Neil and Kim then walked off into the crowd, excited to take some shots. They were hoping to get drunk and party crazy.

Sighing, Naruto leaned against a wall and contemplated leaving this party early.

"Hey, Naruto!"

Turning his head, Naruto smiled at seeing one of his friends. This was Comeau, a conversationalist with black hair, thick-rimmed glasses, and a black t-shirt.

"How's it going man!" Naruto responded, giving the man a fist bump.

The two then began chatting, catching up since the last time they saw one another. Comeau was known for his connections, as he was known for knowing 'everyone.'

"What's bothering you?" Comeau said while sipping from his red plastic cup, "I can tell you're blanking out on me."

"Oh!" Naruto said in surprise, "Sorry about that, I've just been having dreams of this one girl with purple short hair. She was rollerblading in my dream and I've been thinking about it for a while now."

"That sounds like Ramona Flowers," Comeau said nonchalantly, "She's actually supposed to be at this party from what I've heard."

"W-what?" Naruto said in surprise, "How do you know who I'm talking about from a description alone?"

"Duh," Comeau said sarcastically, "I know everybody. Just be careful man, from what I've heard, she's a little wild."

Taking another sip of his drink, Naruto looked over at his friend, "You know what, I think I'm gonna go find her."

"You do that man," Comeau said in support, "I'm gonna go head out back, I heard some hot chicks are jumping in the pool."

With another fist bump, both separated off to do their own thing.

After walking around for a bit, Naruto finally found his dream girl off in the corner of the room. She was looking out a window with a cup in her hand, staring at the stars.

"Okay… I can do this…" Naruto thought to himself, "Just take it slow…"

Gathering his courage, the blonde walked over with his cup in hand. Walking over, he stared out the window with the girl.

They didn't speak at first, allowing a comfortable silence to overtake them.

Finally, Naruto opened his mouth to make the first move.

"I don't know if you can see it, but there's the Big Dipper," Naruto pointed to a specific point on the window.

Turning her head over, Ramona raised an eyebrow, "You know constellations?"

"Some of them," the blonde admitted, "Not many, but enough to sweet talk pretty girls."

Surprisingly, this cheesy pickup line managed to make the girl let out a small chuckle. Taking this as a sign of success, Naruto let a small grin spread across his face.

"So, do you put the moves on all the girls around here?" Ramona said while eyeing the blonde up and down.

"Believe it or not, I'm actually more introverted by nature," Naruto shrugged, "But I couldn't resist talking to you."

"Wow, I feel honored," Ramona joked with the sides of her lip curling up, "But what makes you think I would fall for your charms so easily?"

"I don't know, is it working so far?" Naruto answered with a smile, turning his head so they both made eye contact.

"A little," Ramona said with a smile before walking off. "The name's Ramona, I hope I run into you again."

"Likewise," Naruto said with a smile, feeling that their first interaction went pretty well.

However, as she walked off, Naruto realized something.

He never gave her his name.

Laying on the couches in his apartment, Naruto typed messages to his friend Lisa once more.

Lisa Miller – "You're telling me you actually met this dream girl in real life? And you didn't immediately blow your shot with her?"

Naruto Uzumaki – "Ha. ha. ha. You're so funny, Lisa."

Lisa Miller – "I'm just messing with you Blondie! But really, how did it go?"

Naruto Uzumaki – "I thought it went pretty well, we talked for a bit and she walked off with a smile. I'm hoping that the next time I see her, I can get to know her better."

Lisa Miller – "I'm sure if you mention you're in a band called Sex Bomb-Omb, she'll be dropping her panties! xD"

Naruto Uzumaki – "Ouch, you had to hit me hard on that one. You know I hate the name of our band!"

Lisa Miller – "Too bad! I get teasing rights as a best friend! :)"

Naruto laughed, happy that he kept in contact with Lisa after so long.

The two typed late into the night until Naruto decided to head to bed. After saying goodbye to his friend, he lay down and let sleep overtake him.

Or at least he would have fallen asleep if Wallace hadn't taken this moment to barge in drunk. It was clear the man had been drinking for a while at this point.

Shutting the door behind him, Wallace turned on the lights and tossed his keys onto their kitchen counter.

"Hey… Ruto…" Wallace slurred with a grin, "I just had the best dic-"

"WALLACE!" Naruto screamed out while sitting up, "I DON'T NEED TO KNOW THIS MAN!"

"I'm just messing with you man," Wallace smiled as he plopped down onto the couch with his roommate, "So, any luck with your dream girl?"

Naruto sighed, "Sorta kinda. I actually met her today and spoke for a bit, I'm hoping I can hold a real conversation with her."

"Sounds serious," Wallace said while rubbing his eyes, "I haven't seen you this fired up for some girl since…her."

The duo had agreed to not mention Naruto's ex, who had left a negative impact on his life.

"Yeah…" Naruto answered, "I think she really could be the one, but I'm not sure. It's too soon to say."

"Well, I say you go for it!" Wallace cheered on, "Make an effort and get out there! Besides, it'll give me more time to hang out with my boyfriend and do some… naughty things on the couch." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

Standing up, Wallace walked into his bedroom and shut the door softly.

"Ahahaha, you were kidding, right Wallace?" Naruto asked in a panicked tone, "You're not actually banging where I sleep every night?"

"Goodnight Ruto!" Wallace yelled in his room, "Oh, and watch your head! There might be some white stains there!"

"I hate you!" Naruto yelled out, paranoid as he inspected the couch, "I swear you're a leech that gives me stress! A LEECH!"

"Love you too man!" Wallace finally said through his door as he hit his mattress.

Naruto spent the next thirty minutes looking for any unusual stains on the couch, only to find none. He hated falling for Wallace's tricks…but he also never knew when the man was telling the truth.

The perks of living with Wallace.

"Yes Mom, I just finished ordering it," Naruto said while clicking on their computer. He had ordered a package for his mother, specifically a pair of scrubs that she was looking at online. However, his mother didn't want to input her address as that would let the internet know where she lived, according to her.

"And you made sure it was through Amazon, right?" Kushina said over the phone, "They ship the fastest!"

"Yes Mom, I did. I'll bring the package over whenever it arrives," Naruto said with a chuckle, finding it funny how seriously his mother took this.

"Okay!" Kushina cheered, "I have to go back to work, just wanted to make sure it was ordered! Thank you, baby!"

With a quick goodbye, the mother and son hung up.

"Your mother is a fiery woman," Wallace said as he ate breakfast on their kitchen counter, "I still can't believe she showed me all your baby photos the first time she came over."

Naruto gained a red hue on his face, "Yeah, don't remind me. You wouldn't stop commenting on how I was a chubby toddler."

"Cause you were!" Wallace cried out, "You had the most adorable chubby cheeks ever!"

"Ahh!" Naruto screamed into his hands. His mother had a habit of sharing some embarrassing things with his friends when she first met them.

Deciding to ignore his gossipy friend at the moment, Naruto clicked through some of his emails. Occasionally, he would get notifications of his monthly royalty check.

"That's a coupon… another coupon… another coupon…." Naruto deadpanned while scrolling through his sea of emails, "…no, Stacy who is 26 does not live within a five-mile radius of me…."

"Check to see if there's a cute guy within a five-mile radius!" Wallace cried out from the kitchen.

"You have a boyfriend!" Naruto said while clicking through more emails.

"I know, I'm just kidding!" Wallace said while putting away his dish in the sink, "I just like messing with you."

Naruto clicked on a few more emails in his inbox.

"Huh, what's this…." Naruto squinted his eyes while reading the computer's screen. As he scrolled through the very long email, he was getting more and more confused.

"Dear Mr. Uzumaki, I have sent this email to you in fair warning. It seems that due to your current circumstances, you will have to face a league that is beyond your comprehension. A group of powerful people have formed to…"

"Ehh, more spam mail," Naruto claimed while deleting the email, not reading through the entire thing.

"Don't you have rehearsal in like…two minutes?" Wallace asked while staring at their wall clock.

"Huh?" Naruto asked before looking at the clock with squinted eyes, "Crap, I'm gonna be late! I lost track of time!"

Grabbing his coat and instrument, Naruto ran to get there on time.

Arriving shortly, he stormed inside and watched as his two bandmates were in the middle of speaking.

"Took you long enough," Kim joked with a small smile.

"Sorry," Naruto said with a sheepish grin, "I lost track of time."

"Don't worry about that!" Stephen said while bringing the blonde close, slinging an arm over his shoulder, "I just got us a gig!"

Naruto stared blankly at the man.

"Oh come on! Kim stared at me the exact same way when I told her to!" Stephen said.

"Well, I'm happy," Naruto admitted, "But I just like playing for fun, not really looking for a serious career choice yet."

"But didn't you go to college to branch out in the music industry?" Stephen asked with a raised eyebrow, "I mean, you even said that you'd like to one day branch into it as a career. I'm helping with that, I'd thought you'd be more excited!"

Naruto sighed, realizing his friend did have a point, "You're right, I guess I just don't want to make it my full-time job just yet. I enjoy playing for fun at the moment…"

Knives and Young Neil then entered through the front door, as they always appeared when the band had practice.

"Hey guys!" Young Neil said with a smile and wave.

"Guess what!" Stephen said with a grin, "I booked us a gig!"

"You WHAT?!" Knives said with stars in her eyes, "THAT'S AWESOME! Where are you performing?"

"At the Rockit, specifically, the International Battle of the Bands," Stephen said with a wide smirk. He felt happy at his accomplishment.

"Our first battle is against Crash and the Boys," Kim added, playing with her drumsticks.

"Okay, that does sound pretty cool," Naruto admitted with a smile, "It would be awesome to go up against another live band."

"And the reward is a record deal too! With G-man Graves!" Stephen added on with a smile. "He's renowned in the music world! We'll finally get our name out there!"

Naruto gained a frown on his face at this revelation.

"Now, I know you're not a big fan of record deals," Stephen said while looking at Naruto, "But it's too big of an opportunity to pass up! Not only will Sex Bomb-omb be known throughout our little group, but we'll actually have a big fanbase! Think about it!"

Naruto sighed, deciding he would at least attend this to help his friend's ambition. While he personally didn't want to sign a record deal, he could put that aside if Stephen truly wanted it. He just couldn't promise he would stick around much longer if they did sign.

"Alright, I'll show up," Naruto said in a defeated tone.

"I knew you'd come around!" Stephen said while poking the blonde in the chest, "Now, let's rock out to get ready! Practice people, practice!"

"Yes!" Young Neil pumped his fist in the air, "Finally, we can show the world the beauty of Sex Bomb-omb!"

Knives nodded excitedly, "I agree! It'll be so rad!"

Naruto smiled, maybe he could bear being in a battle of the bands, only for his close friends. It's not like they were asking the world out of him.

"One, two, three, four!" Kim yelled before slamming down on her drums with a wide smile.

Stephen stepped up to the microphone and began singing while strumming his guitar.

As for Naruto, he kept the baseline going as his two other bandmates played along.

They would get as much practice before getting on stage.

"Yoo! I'm back!" Naruto said while tossing his coat onto the coat rack.

"So soon?" Wallace said as he leaned on their recliner watching television, "You usually get back way later than this, it's still broad daylight outside."

"I know, but Stephen accidentally hit his eye on the microphone while swinging his head around and it swelled up. We decided to call it then," Naruto explained while heading into the kitchen. Grabbing a water bottle from their fridge, he gulped it down before tossing the plastic packaging into the trash can over his shoulder.

DING! DONG!

"Huh?" Naruto thought in surprise while walking to the door, "Who's that?"

Opening the door slowly, Naruto was surprised to see Ramona Flowers standing there, with his mother's package in hand.

"Order for Naruto Uzumaki?" Ramona said with a smirk, "Looks like I finally found out your name."

"Oh, aha!" Naruto said while rubbing the back of his head, "Sorry, I totally forgot to give it out last time!"

"No worries," Ramona chuckled, "I just need you to sign here and here," she pointed to her clipboard at different lines.

Nodding his head, the blonde grabbed the pen while signing his name at the required points. After ensuring it was correct, he handed the pen back while Ramona handed over the package.

"Thanks," Naruto responded while grabbing the package and placing it under his arm. "I'm sorry to bother you, and this might sound weird, but I swear I've seen you in my dreams."

"Oh, that? I've just been using your mind since there's a convenient subspace highway. It covers like fifteen miles in five seconds," Ramona answered.

"Uhhh…..what?" Naruto asked, not understanding what that entirely meant.

"Sorry, I forgot that's not really a thing in Canada," Ramona apologized with wide eyes, "It's more of a thing from the States."

"You're not from Canada?" Naruto asked in surprise, "What are you doing over here? We have nothing but snow and polar bears."

"Don't forget the maple leaves and moose," Ramona joked, "But in actuality, I work for Amazon and they offered me a better position over here. So I just moved, and it kinda worked out too because I had just finished breaking up with my boyfriend at the time."

This information surprised the blonde, as a giant exclamation mark appeared over his head.

"Wow, you're single?" Naruto shook his head, "No way, you're too pretty for that."

Ramona giggled lightly, "Thank you, but yes, I'm single. Why, is someone interested?"

Not knowing if Ramona was flirting with him or not, the blonde decided to take his shot, "Maybe I am. But I was wondering if you'd like a tour around here sometime? I'd be more than happy to show you around and hang out."

"Like a date?" she asked with a grin.

"If you want to call it that, then sure," Naruto shrugged with the package under his arm, "But the offer still stands."

Ramona hummed for a second, eyeing Naruto for a second. After a while, she let out a small smile, "Sure, that's fine with me."

"Sounds good, I'll see you tonight at six. We can meet by the park nearby." Naruto offered.

"See you then," Ramona smiled before rollerblading out of the area. Once she was gone, Naruto gently closed his door and turned his body to see Wallace.

"FUCK! MY ARM FELL ASLEEP HOLDING THE PACKAGE!" Naruto dropped his cardboard package on the floor while flailing his arm around.

Wallace began laughing loudly, holding his stomach, "You seriously didn't drop that package the whole time just to look cool? Even when it was hurting your arm?" Wallace said while wiping some tears from his eyes.

"IT'S NOT FUNNY!" Naruto shouted while he flailed his 'dead' arm around like a noodle, "IT REALLY HURTS! THAT PACKAGE DUG IT'S SHARP CORNERS INTO MY VEINS!" A 'rage' meter appeared above his head, which filled ¼ of the way.

"Well at least you got a date out of it," Wallace chuckled, "Now go get ready for your date, I have some business on this couch," he tapped the cushions while calling his boyfriend.

"There better be no white stains when I come back! I'm being serious Wallace!" Naruto said while his arm flailed around beside him, "I sleep there!"

Wallace ignored him as he called his boyfriend.

In the meantime, Naruto tried regaining feeling in his arm.

Six in the Evening – Hours Later

Walking in his thick winter coat alongside the beanie he bought while out with Knives, Naruto looked around. He stood by the playground at the park and waited for Ramona to show up.

He had already dropped off his mother's package earlier, and he was able to speak with his parents for a bit before he had to leave. Thankfully, his parents didn't pry too much into where he was going.

After arriving at their meeting location, he only had to wait about three minutes before he saw his 'dream girl' show up. However, this time, it seemed as if her hair was a dark maroon.

"Hey," Ramona said while walking up in her own thick coat, "I hope I wasn't too late."

"Not at all," Naruto shook his head, "I just got here myself."

Nodding her head, she looked around, "So…where to first?"

"Well, I promised a tour, so a tour it is!" Naruto announced, "I can show you the best spots in town."

"Lead the way then," Ramona said while following the blonde.

The two began chatting while on their walk, getting to know one another better. While on their walk, they both learned some new things about the other.

First off, Ramona found out that Naruto received a monthly royalty check as his main form of income ever since he wrote a song for 'some famous band' as he put it back in the States. She also found out that he trained in martial arts ever since he was a young kid since he had temper issues back then.

She also thought it was funny how Naruto described his mother as a walking machine that only existed to embarrass him. She hoped to possibly meet the blonde's mother and see for herself. He also had a passion for music, however for now, he was more content with just playing for fun. His band, Sex Bomb-omb, wasn't incredibly popular just yet.

As for the blonde, he also learned quite about Ramona. The girl had left the States after going through a nasty breakup, which Naruto could relate to. He also learned that Ramona didn't have many friends here, as she was still new to town.

As they toured, the two enjoyed their time together.

"Here is the best spot to play laser tag!" Naruto announced in childlike wonder, showing Ramona a building before them.

"Laser tag?" Ramona giggled behind her hand, "Isn't that a little nerdy?"

"Oh, it's definitely nerdy," Naruto nodded in a Sage-like manner, "But it's also fun! C'mon, give it a try!"

Shrugging her shoulder, Ramona allowed Naruto to drag her inside and the two quickly signed up to play. They received their vests, and laser guns, and were told of the rules such as no running, climbing, or jumping.

"That'll be $14 for each person," the attendant said in a calm voice.

Reaching for her card, Ramona was surprised to see Naruto shake his head. He then retrieved his debit card and paid for them both.

"You didn't have to do that," Ramona said with wide eyes, "I could have paid for my half."

"I know, but I offered this tour, so it's only right I pay. Don't worry about it, it's on me," with a smile, Naruto walked into the dark room so they could play.

He didn't mind paying, especially since he wasn't desperate for money.

Smiling in appreciation, Ramona followed after and the two commenced their little 'tour.' However, she was starting to see this as more of a date…and she didn't mind it.

The two then played a few rounds of laser tag in the dark arena. If Ramona was being honest with herself, it was the most fun she had in a long time.

After ducking behind another railing, she peeked out for a quick second and managed to snipe Naruto across the room. She saw his vest flash a bright red before he ran off, screaming he would get her back.

True to his word, Naruto crouched and walked around a corner before firing his own shot, straight into Ramona's back. Her vest then lit up in a bright red, causing Ramona to look around in confusion.

The two went back and forth for a total of twenty minutes, enjoying their time together and laughing along the way. It was a nice moment for them both.

Hearing a horn sound, the duo realized it was time to finally leave. As they hung up their vests, they looked at the scoreboard with their customized name.

Ninja-Man – 87 Points

SkaterGurl – 73 Points

"Yes!" Naruto pumped his fist in the air, "Looks like I won!"

Ramona giggled again, finding his enthusiasm to be infectious, "Looks like you did."

"As Victor, I announce we will be eating only the finest cuisine, my treat," Naruto said with a grin.

"Well, I can't argue with that," Ramona conceded, "It's only fair that the victor makes the rules."

Sharing another laugh, the two walked off to grab some food. They would continue their 'tour' (date) for another few hours, only wrapping up when it became late outside.

They would lose themselves too much in each other's company for them to care.

A blizzard broke out a few hours into their hangout the duo decided to call it then. However, given that the blizzard was so wild it obscured anything beyond twenty feet, Ramona decided to head back to their place. After all, her apartment was much closer than Naruto's at the moment.

Opening her door, Ramona shut it with a soft click after Naruto made his way inside. Gently taking off his coat, he placed it on her coat rack. Ramona then did the same, also removing her coat.

Taking a look around, Naruto spoke, "You have a nice place here, it's really cozy."

"Thanks," Ramona said while she moved over to her kitchen cabinet, "It's pretty affordable for my salary so I picked it. By the way, I'm in the mood for some tea. Do you have any favorites?"

"Do you have any Sencha tea?" Naruto asked while taking a seat at her kitchen table.

"Wow, so you know your constellations and your teas," Ramona joked while pulling out the specific box needed, "I'm officially impressed. Most people go for the generic or common ones."

"All the credit goes to my mom, it's her favorite kind of tea and it grew on me," Naruto shrugged.

After brewing their respective teas and pouring them into two ceramic cups, Ramona joined Naruto at the kitchen table.

The two then began chatting once more, letting the night wash away around them. They laughed, joked, and flirted occasionally throughout their conversation. It was clear that there was some form of chemistry between both people.

After finishing their drinks, Ramona offered to play some movies on her television. Naruto agreed and both individuals sat on her couch while turning the television on.

As they boy lay on the couch, Ramona glanced over at Naruto only to sweatdrop at seeing his complete infatuation in the movie. It seemed she may have played something he had an actual interest in.

"Well if he isn't going to make the first move…then I will…" deciding to go for it, Ramona leaned her head on his shoulder and snuggled up into his body.

"Oh!" Naruto thought with a blush on his cheeks, not expecting the sudden contact. However, he was no novice in relationships or flirting, so he wrapped an arm around Ramona and continued to watch the movie.

The two then enjoyed their time, snuggling into one another and relaxing. However, as time passed, Naruto couldn't help but admire the girl next to him.

As she watched the movie, he thought about how pretty her eyes were. The way she crunched her nose when confused or annoyed also endeared him to her. Every single movement and mannerism was cute to him, and he couldn't fathom how lucky he was.

Bringing his hand under her chin, Naruto gently tiled Ramona to look at him in the eyes. As for Ramona, she looked on in confusion, wondering what was happening.

"Ramona…" Naruto breathed out heavily, feeling strong emotions for the girl, "…can I kiss you?"

Instead of answering, Ramona decided to slam her lips onto the blonde. It was almost like this was the moment both were waiting for all night.

Suddenly, Ramona shifted her body weight so that she was now on top of the blonde. This caused Naruto to fall on his back onto the soft couch below. However, despite this, Ramona never let her lips leave the blonde's.

As the two continued to make out heavily, Naruto decided to do something daring. Using his tongue, he gently began playing with Ramona's, which she moaned out to. It was clear that French kissing wasn't something she was used to.

Slowly but surely, Ramona started undressing herself. She started with her shirt, before throwing that onto the floor. She then maneuvered herself so that her pants could also follow, throwing them next to her discarded shirt.

"She's getting serious about this!" Naruto thought while he continued to kiss the girl, "I guess we'll see how far she wants to take this." He wouldn't push past anything that made her uncomfortable after all.

Ramona broke away from the kiss and spoke in a husky tone, "Now you, undress yourself."

Nodding his head, Naruto threw his shirt, pants, and shoes off. His pile of clothes joined Ramona's on the floor, and the two resumed making out.

Before they could do anything else, he heard Ramona whisper out.

"Let's take this to my bed."

Agreeing, Naruto decided to play around and grab Ramona by her pale thighs and lifted her up. This caused the girl to squeal in surprise and realize that Naruto was carrying her over to the bed.

With a soft slam, she smiled before their lips made contact once more. It was like their only life source was making out with each other.

It didn't take long before Ramona unbuckled her black lacy bra, causing Naruto to stare at her bare breasts.

"You're so beautiful," Naruto said while kissing Ramona lightly on the neck. His tongue lapped her neck as well, causing Ramona to squirm around.

"Ugh…" she moaned out, "Please…"

Taking her offer, he slowly kissed his way down her body until he was facing her breasts. With a small kiss, he began to please Ramona with his mouth. As he molded and gently lapped at her nipples, Ramona only moaned and clutched his hair.

After a few minutes of gently sucking and pleasing the girl, Ramona finally removed her black lacy panties.

"Ramona," Naruto spoke out while stopping his ministrations, "Are you sure you want to go all the way?"

He didn't want the girl to go too far if she felt uncomfortable, especially since this was technically their first date.

"I don't normally act this way with someone I just met," Ramona breathed out with hazy eyes, "I like you…but no sex for now…"

"That's fine," Naruto smiled, "Just lean back and relax, I'll take care of you."

Those words sent shudders down her back.

After kissing her thighs softly, he gently parted her legs open and stared at Ramona's most private spot. It was beautiful in his opinion and he placed a soft kiss upon her slit.

Once he could tell the tension left her legs, Naruto began to place his mouth upon Ramona's most sensitive spot. His goal was to please the girl and hopefully get her to release.

Ramona clenched Naruto's hair in her hands while keeping her eyes closed and breathing heavily. As for the blonde, he placed his hands upon her perfect breasts and molded them to her pleasure.

While his hands were working above, Naruto's mouth was working down below at the same time. He swirled his tongue and hummed periodically, making Ramona squirm uncontrollably. As he continued, his hands eventually left her breasts and instead held Ramona's hands.

Something had to give, and eventually, it did.

"AHHH!" Ramona screamed out while spasming violently. Her thighs nearly crushed the blonde's head, but he didn't stop. They shook in the air violently while her fingers dug into his hands. She clenched her teeth and kept her eyes closed, feeling all the tension in her body leave at once.

Her orgasm lasted for a minute straight, before Naruto felt her legs slowly release him.

"It looks like she's been needing that for a while," Naruto joked in his head, wiping his mouth from her juices, "I didn't think she was holding all that pent-up tension."

However, when he looked up, he was shocked to see Ramona's chest softly rise and fall. It was clear that the girl had fallen asleep from her violent orgasm.

(END LIME SCENE)

Naruto laughed to himself while he saw his date sleep soundly. She had a peaceful expression on her face and he couldn't help but find it cute.

He adjusted her body on the bed so that she would be more comfortable for a deep sleep. Just as he was about to leave and sleep on her couch instead, Ramona instinctively clutched him close by.

"Please… don't go…" she whispered out from her sleep.

Deciding to uphold her command, Naruto placed himself next to the girl while he slept. Ramona then wrapped her arms around the blonde. Placing his own around her, the two snuggled up and fell asleep in the other's arms.

As they slept, Naruto never noticed Ramona's sleeping face curl up into a genuine smile. It seemed she was truly content for the first time in a long time.

The Next Morning

Naruto woke up groggily, feeling the sun's rays hit his face. Crunching up his face in annoyance, he looked around and realized he was still in Ramona's bed.

However, Ramona wasn't in bed with him at the moment. Before he could ponder on that anymore, he heard the sounds of sizzling bacon coming from the kitchen. Sliding the covers off of him, he walked out in his boxers.

Entering the kitchen, he saw Ramona cooking some breakfast for them both. She was only wearing her lacy black panties, bra, and shirt.

"Good morning," Naruto said with a sheepish smile, hoping things weren't awkward between them now.

Turning over in surprise, Ramona let out a smile with a blush on her face, "Good morning, I'm making some breakfast for us. Wanted to make up for basically leaving you dry last night after I got my release, I just hadn't experienced anything like that before."

Walking over and putting on his pants, Naruto asked, "No worries about last night, I totally understand…but I'm wondering, is this more than a one-night stand then?"

"I don't know, what do you think?" Ramona asked with a hidden grin as she cooked.

"I'm hoping this can go somewhere, if you want to that is," Naruto quickly blurted out.

Turning off the stove, Ramona turned around and walked over to the blonde. She gently wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a deep kiss on his lips. The two made out for a few seconds before she separated.

"Does that answer your question?"

Naruto had stars in his eyes while nodding. Ramona giggled before serving their plates. The two ate and talked with grins on their face.

"So, what made you attracted to me?" Ramona asked while taking a bite out of her bacon, "I'm curious as to why you approached me at that party."

"That's easy, it's because I fell in love at first sight. Once I saw you in my dream, I just couldn't help but want to talk to you. So when I saw you at the party, I knew I had to go up and say something," Naruto answered while taking a swig of orange juice.

After placing his cup back down, he asked his question, "So what about you? What makes you want to give this a shot?"

"Honestly?" Ramona smiled, "I feel safe when I'm around you. I don't feel like I have to be someone I'm not, and we can have a good time regardless. I haven't really felt this way before, so I'm hoping this can be something pure."

In response, Naruto gently grabbed her hand and placed a soft kiss on her knuckles. Looking up, he asked the golden question, "So are we officially dating now?"

Ramona laughed and nodded, "I guess so."

It may have been sudden and quick since they only had one official date so far, but it felt right for both people.

Leaning back in her chair, Ramona asked, "So are you doing anything today? I'm not scheduled for any shifts so I'm basically free all day."

Gulping down a portion of his scrambled eggs, Naruto answered, "Well, I do have to attend the Battle of the Bands later tonight. Our band is going up against Clash and the Boys. It's at the Rockit and our singer, Stephen, is hoping we win the prize for a record deal."

"That sounds pretty cool," Ramona admitted while nodding her head, "Can I come?"

Naruto let a megawatt smile spread across his face, "I'd love for you to come. After all, I get to show off my new incredible girlfriend to everyone!"

With a smile, the two shared a quick kiss. Helping Ramona put up the plates, Naruto snuck in a few kisses. He was overjoyed, he was able to date the girl of his dreams.

He wasn't used to going from talking to dating so quickly.

He had never gotten so passionate on a first date before.

He didn't even realize that he was beginning to have only thoughts of her fill his head.

But, Ramona Flowers managed to do this to him.

Love was complicated.

The first chapter is done! I know this story kind of came out of nowhere, but I've always wanted to try my hand at something similar to this! I love both series, so I wanted to blend the two naturally.

Please review and let me know what you think! I love to read them!

The question/exclamation marks that pop up over characters' heads are my way of incorporating the comical/superhero theme of the original series. I'll be doing a lot of this kind of scenery and imagery as the story goes on.

I also hope the lime scene was alright, it's the closest thing to a lemon scene that I've written before.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed it! Keep an eye out for chapter two coming soon!

Cheers!
