ROSE'S POV
"Why didn't you ask me first before making me your underboss?" I asked my father.
"Because you would've said no, straight away," I scoffed as he said.
"And what makes you think, I won't say it right now?" I asked him.
"Kiz, listen...," I stopped him before he could say anything else.
"No, don't you dare kiz me," I told him glaring.
"Do you have any idea of what I'm going through?" I asked him and he remained silent.
"My finals are coming, I have to study for them. We all have to take Robert down, and that is not freaking easy. I have to lie to like 100 people or maybe more than that. I have to practice, And the last thing I wanted was to become your underboss," I told him.
Kiz, I know it's a lot, but they want you to become their underboss in this mission," he told me rubbing his forehead.
"Is this some kind of a plan to keep me here?" I asked him.
"No, this isn't. It's your choice, but for this mission, they feel like you should be on that title. And Eddie isn't here, even if he was here, you're older than him and more trained than him," I scoffed.
"Trained?" I asked him.
"I'm not talking about combat kiz, I'm talking about knowledge. You have the knowledge and power," He told.
"It'll be too much, I honestly don't know how to handle it. This is already too much," I told him rubbing my forehead.
"You handled this since you were a child. I know that's not the best excuse I can give, and it wasn't fair but my point is that you're more strong than you think you are," I closed my eyes sighing.
"If we are doing this, I want you to make sure that I'm taking your title as underboss until we get down Robert. Keeping it after that is completely my choice," I told him and he nodded.
"Words," He chuckled as I told that.
"I promise," I nodded as he said.
"You'll do good kiz, and Eddie completely agreed to this," I nodded and got up.
"I have to go, I have to go to uni tomorrow so I need a good sleep," I told him.
"And you will not make any more decisions that concern my life even slightly without asking me," I told him glaring.
"About that, I may or may have not made one," I groaned as he told that.
"What?" I asked him.
"I became a part of your university's development society," I started counting in my head before I start to lose it.
"I guess Dimitri knows this too?" I asked him and he nodded.
I groaned before leaving the room!
If I stayed there anymore, I'll explode. But for now, I have to care about tomorrow. I thought before going to bed.

I woke up as my alarm went off. After a refreshing shower, I went to my closet to grab something comfortable. After getting ready I went to my study greeting the maids on the way. As I reached it I grabbed all of the things I need. I checked my bag once again and left the room heading for breakfast.
I wore a denim skirt which ended a few inches above my knee and a striped blouse tucked into it. I let my hair down in its natural way.
As I went inside there weren't many around since it was still 6.30.
"You're going this early?" My father asked me as I came inside, looking at me.
"My first lecture starts at 9.30, but I like to be there early," I told him.
"Hello, darling can you make me a hot chocolate, without marshmallows?" I asked a maid and she nodded smiling. I started serving myself some breakfast sandwiches and scrambled eggs.
"You know, I like the way, you aren't hesitant to eat like those other girls," Ivan told me.
"I do have a diet, but usually I get hungry so damn much," I told him as
I started eating and soon that maid brought my hot chocolate.
"Good morning!" Dimitri came inside rubbing his sleepy eyes. I nodded at him as he sat down.
"So can I take a car?" I asked my father.
"Can you drive?" I nodded, and he thought for a while.
"Yes you can, and I suppose you know where the garage is?" I nodded.
"Is there something ordinary in your collection?" He laughed as I asked.
"I don't know, but I'm sure you'll like what you see," I scoffed at his arrogance.
"Whatever," I told him and continued to eat.
"Rose, I looked at Mrs Alberta who was looking at me smiling.
"Yes, Mrs Alberta?"
"I can prepare your lunch if you want?" I smiled at her words.
"Trust me then you have to prepare for like 20, always after our lecture we are starving like wild animals so if you want to prepare then you have to make a whole lot meal," I told her. She smiled.
"It's not a problem, but since you're running out of time, I'll give you lunch from tomorrow. I nodded.
"But you can prepare me some snacks like pizza rolls maybe? Anything quick," I told her and she nodded.
"At what time you'll be coming back?" My father asked me.
"That is a pretty serious question, I don't know. I have a lecture until 4, but after that, I might stay to do some other work, but if I'm not here at 6, you can give me a ring," I told him and he nodded.
"You're wearing the tracker aren't you?" Dimitri asked me and he nodded.
"Here there are 15 pizza rolls," Mrs Janet gave me a bag and I nodded thanking her.
"Anyway, HOLY SHIT I'M LATE!" I yelled as I looked at my watch. It's freaking 7.30 A.M.
"I gotta go, and see ya guys later," I yelled showing my last sandwich in my mouth and running out of the room.
"Your bag?" I heard Ivan yelling so I ran inside again and grabbed it while others were laughing like a bunch of crazy people.

I'll take the classic mustang one, Uncle Dave," I told him and he threw me the keys.
"Careful Rosie, you sure you don't want me or anyone to come," I smiled and shook my head.
"I'll be fine, and stop calling me that," I told him and got in starting to drive.
As I came to the garage my father was right every car is beautiful but I love classic mustang. They are super cool.

Leonardo's POV
"Does she know?" I looked at Dimitri who was chuckling.
"No," I told him smirking.
"It's gonna be an earful," He told me and I nodded smiling.
"Anyway, there's someone I'd like to meet there," I told him.
"Her friends?" He shook his head.
"Them too, but mainly Janine's nephew is there I'd like to him, last time I saw him, he was like 10," I told him.
"Janine?" Dimitri asked.
At that moment everything went pin-drop silent. I smiled softly.
"Rose's mother," He nodded understanding.
"If you're done, it's better if we leave now," He told without further questions. I nodded, I don't want to think about her right now. I can't get upset the entire day.
...
"Hi pleasure to meet you, I'm Nicole Matthews, a pleasure to meet you, sir," I shook my hand with the lady.
"Nice to meet you, Mrs Matthews, I think the chancellor told about me to you and the staff," She nodded.
"He did," I nodded.
Today, I decided to visit her university. Just to know what kind of a place she's in and if she's fine here. Dimitri, Pavel and Ivan came with me too. I know I'm invading her privacy which she told me not to do, but I can't help it.
"Mr Belikov, I'm so glad to hear that you decide to publish Miss Hathaway's book," Mrs Matthews told and he nodded smiling.
"It was a very wide imagination, I was surprised to read such a one," He told.
"OF course, you have no idea how bright she shines," I smiled proudly.
"I heard that she's your niece?" She turned to me and I nodded.
"We didn't have a good relationship back then, but now it's fine," I told her and she nodded.
"So Mrs Matthews, usually who comes first to the class?" Dimitri asked. She looked at her watch.
"Well, umm it's usually Rose and her two friends, Christian and Jill," I nodded. After a few minutes, while we were talking, the door boomed open.
A blonde girl stormed inside and stopped dead seeing us. She's Jill, Rose's friend and from behind we all heard someone laughing so hard.
"Wait, so he did that? Like really?" Wait that's Rose's voice. She was laughing so loud.
"OMG Jessica, It's hilarious," I heard a guy's voice. They soon came to the view. They holding each other arm in arm and laughing so hard. As they opened the door Rose accidentally bumped into the door, getting her nose hit on the door.
"OH MY GOD, Rose! Are you alright?" The boy who was holding her asked her but still, they were laughing.
"I'm fine. I'm completely fine," She said still laughing.
She's laughing. I've heard her laugh but not this kind of one. She's laughing so hard and it's rich. So rich.
FLASHBACK
Her red hair was flowing because of the wind as she was laughing. She's laughing with her sister about something, but she was just beautiful, like a goddess.
"For how long are you going to watch her hidden man?" Victor asked me and Pavel chuckled.
"Seems like someone is in love," Pavel told.
"I'm just making sure that she's safe, I told them.
"Yeah yeah whatever, keep telling that to you. I'm just telling you, go and talk to her man, it's not like you don't know her," I scoffed.
"Seriously, I kidnapped her first. And then backhanded her accusing her of lying, and then after finding out the truth released her. And two weeks after when I saw her again she nearly died because of me, Why on earth would she want to talk to me." I told them.
"Just take a chance. Who knows if you two get together maybe we'll be signing as godfathers to your little ones," Pavel told and I shook my head.
"Shut up you moron," I told him. And now she's dancing to the melody as the street violinist plays his violin. Fuck! She's beautiful, so beautiful.
"Fine if you won't, I will," I turned and slammed Victor to the wall.
"Don't you dare! She. Is. MINE!" I growled at him.
After a few seconds, they both started laughing. I groaned letting Victor go. Assholes.
"Claiming already?" Pavel asked. I didn't tell anything but turned around to watch Janine dancing with her sister and nephew.
"Janine," I whispered her name.
"My Janine,"

I smiled. Both of their laughs are alike. She's like my Janine. Just like her mother.
ROSE'S POV
I couldn't stop myself.
"Christian so is this means?" I wriggled my eyebrows and he got the hint.
"Jillian and Micah sitting on the tree. K.I.S.S.I.N.G" We both started singing out loud.
"Guys stop, please look," I stuck my tongue at her but looked ahead of us, and immediately my laugh stopped.
WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING HERE?
They all were looking at us as if we were crazy, Jill started blushing furiously, while Christian was looking at Dimitri like he has seen a ghost. I cleared my throat embarrassed.
"If you three are done go take your seats," Mrs Matthwes told and we nodded.
"Psst. Rose," Christian elbowed me, I hummed while walking towards the seat dragging Jill with me.
"On the day we went clubbing remember when I told you that you talked crap to someone while drunk?" I looked at him.
"So?"
"Those two dudes over there, they were them," He told me just as I passed them. And I'm pretty sure they heard it. I froze. Like literary froze.
Shit! I muttered in my head and sat down on the nearest, blushing. I could feel their smirk on me.
"We'll leave Mrs Matthews, it was nice meeting you," My father said and then nodded towards us.
"Now, that's funny," Jill told.
"Shut up," I told her.

"Put me down, Shane, put me down," I slapped Shane's back as he kept walking, laughing with me over his shoulder.
"Nope, you earned it," Lissa told laughing.
"Shane, people are watching, put me down now!" I told him and he just chuckled.
"Come on Rose- boy I wouldn't have done this to you, if you would've just come with us," He told.
"I'll tell Ray about it! And you'll pay for this," I told him.
Shane is Ray's boyfriend. He's a real sweetheart but he also can be a pain in the ass! I was in the library, after some lectures studying when Lissa, Jill, and Shane came over wanting to go to lunch. I told no because I wasn't done reading and they of course didn't buy it. Shane picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and started walking out. We are headed to Mandy's since others will meet us there. He hasn't put me down yet and each and everyone who's walking has been laughing or pointing toward us.
"Come on, Shane, I'll walk the rest," I told him as we entered the cafe.
"Nope," He told, and as we entered everyone stopped talking and started looking at us.
They must think that we're crazy. Lissa and Jill were laughing like two crazy people and now Mia and Christian joined it too.
"Put me down," I told pinching his back.
"Ouch!" He said and slapped my butt. WHAT THE FUCK!
"You did not," I told and slapped his butt harder.
"What is going on here?" He turned around as he heard Ray's voice and when he did I was turned around too. And as I did I caught my father and Dimitri along with Uncle Pavel and Ivan in the cafe watching our mouths agape. Ivan was trying hard not to laugh.
"Oh my god!" I gasped as I blushed.
"Hey, babe! This little miss here didn't listen, so well you know the rest," Shane told and I heard Ray chuckling.
"Put me down before I throw up," I told him averting my gaze away from my father's table.
"Put her down sweetheart," Ray told and Shane sighed but did as he was told. As he put me down, I took some deep breaths and held on to his forearms to calm myself from the blood rush.
"You alright?" Ray asked me smiling. I nodded freeing myself from Brandon and reaching to Lissa to get my bag. But I couldn't because my head was spinning, and before I could fall Christian caught me.
"Oh my! Are you alright?" He asked me and so did Mia.
"Yeah I'm fine," I told them wrapping my arms around Christian's waist and laying my head on his shoulder leaning on him to steady myself.
"What do you guys want?" Mandy asked after giving our order we went to sit down. I looked over my shoulder to look at my father's table. And when they caught my eye I sent them a small smile and turned around again to join the chat.

DIMITRI'S POV
"Do you enjoy being carried by guys?" I asked Rose. She jumped at the sudden voice and turned around.
"What are you doing here?" She whisper-asked us, glaring.
"Meet you, Rose, your father wanted to give a message to you," Leonid told.
"Why didn't he give me a call or a message?" She whispered again.
"I don't know, and why the hell are you whispering?" I asked her.
"Because we're in the library genius," She whispered and I rolled my eyes.
"What message?" She asked ignoring my comeback.
"You know the bar down the street?" She nodded.
"Told you to meet us there. Told us there's someone you should meet," I told and she nodded.
"Fine," She told turning to place the book on the shelf which was taller than her.
"How are you planning to come there?" I asked her taking the book from her hand and placing it where she was trying to.
"I'll drive, no need of a ride," She told.
"Now if that's all I'd like both of you to leave before someone notices us," She told shoving us away.
"Who?" Ivan asked. She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know," She said.
"There's no one around Rose, it's nearly 5.00. What are you doing here anyway at this time?" Ivan asked.
"For some work. I'll be fine," She told walking past us and grabbing a book from a shelf.
"Who was that guy?" I asked her and I could feel Ivan's eye roll.
"Why do you care?" She asked still looking at the shelf. I sighed.
"Who is he?" I asked her my voice dropping an octave.
"Which one?" She asked still looking for damn books.
"The guy you hugged," I told her.
"Christian, his brother, the twin is Ray, and Ray's boyfriend is Shane," She said.
"What's your deal with him?" I asked her scowling. She looked at me.
"What?" She asked.
"Oh sweetie, he's asking if you two are dating," Ivan told.
"No," She told.
"But that's not the impression we got by seeing you with him twice," He told.
"Twice?" She asked and we both smirked.
"Yup, twice. Can't you remember the way you name trees? Christree and Raytree?" She blushed and glared at us.
She's beautiful when she blushes.
"Shut up, leave if you don't have anything to do," She told and left to grab her bag. She sent us a glare before leaving the library and borrowing the book.
We both chuckled.
"Admit it," Ivan said.
"What?" I asked him and he rolled his eyes.
"You like her and you were jealous," I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up moron, let's go," I told him while leaving the library but as we came out Rose was still there but not alone. She was with her three best friends. Lissa, Jill, and Mia.
"You sure you'll be fine?" I heard Mia asking her and she nodded.
"It's okay, I'll be fine," She told.
"So what's your uncle's deal with that Olena's CEO?" Jill asked. I stopped wanting to hear what they were talking about.
"They work together. He has got to know me through Mr Belikov," She told.
"Work together? Your uncle is working together with the guy who wanted to sleep with you?" Lissa asked and I sighed.
"And is he living with you guys?" Jill asked. Rose nodded. They were angry. Anyone can see that.
"Trust me, my uncle's place security is good. I'll be fine," She told.
"But still that dude is an ass!" Lissa told. Hey, that's rude.
"And right now that ass is looking at us," Mia told noticing me and all of them turned around.
"Okay, this isn't good," Ivan muttered.
"Listen here you Mr Asshole, if you ever get near Rose..." Lissa came towards me looking like a bloody dragon.
"Liss, Lissa, let's go," Rose tried to drag her.
"Shut up Rose," Lissa told shocking Rose and turning to me.
"If you think that you're some kind of a sex god or somewhat, then let me make this clear to you. You will stay away from my best friend or else you won't be sleeping with someone ever again," She told jabbing a finger into my chest. I smirked and raised my eyebrow.
"Or really?" I mocked her. I swear to god she looked like she was just a moment away from breaking to ashes.
"You son of a..." She was going to punch me but before she could Rose caught her and dragged her.
"That's enough let's go, he can't do anything to me," She told dragging Lissa with her.
Okay, that was scary, and to add to that another two girls are still looking at me.
"Keep in mind what she told me, if you hurt Rose, we'll hurt you 10000 times more," Jill told coming too close to me. I was honestly taken back by her closeness before I felt a sharp pain in my foot.
"Fuck!" I muttered as she stepped on my foot hard.
"Stay away from her," She said before leaving. I bent down a little bit because of the unexpected pain. And still the other girl, Mia was standing in front of me.
"What are you gonna step on the..." I stopped as she showed both middle fingers to me. I gaped at her as she left.
"She got one hell of friends," Leonid told.
"shut up!" I told him glittering.
