ROSE'S POV (Later at the mansion, movie room)
"So how's college?" I asked Eddie.
"Good," He replied. Well, that's strange.
"Eddie, how's it?" I asked him and he groaned.
"Fine, Rosie. But you know, I'm not a fan of studying," He told.
"Well it's hard but you have to do that. I mean baba has thoughts for you," I told him, taking a bite from my chocolate. He turned and looked at me.
"What about you? Don't you want any of his business? I'm sure you can run them, more than I'll ever be able to,' He told.
"No, I don't want it. I'd like to stay out of it and start something of my own," I told him.
"Do you hate us?" He asked suddenly making me look at him.
"I'm sorry?" I asked.
"Do you hate us?" He asked again. I sighed.
"Trust me, even I wonder why can't I hate you, but no, I don't hate you," I told him.
"If you can will you?" He asked me.
I wanted to say no. So badly. But I can't lie.
"Maybe," I told him.
"What stops you?" He asked me.
"No matter how much I deny it, you are part of me. You all are assholes, that's for sure, but still, you're family. And I love you," I told him.
He wrapped his arm around me.
"So are you. And I'm sorry," He told.
I was about to tell him, it was okay but my phone rang.
Jill?
"Hey, Jill you alright?" I asked her.
And what I heard made me freeze.
"Goo... Good Evening, Mac delivery service?" My heart stopped as I heard her voice
"Eddie, call others," I told as I started moving.
"Jill, baby hold on okay, I know something is going on and we all are here to help you I promise just hold on for a second," I told her hurriedly.
"Sure," She told.
"Rose?" Baba came just when I entered the meeting room.
"Connect them," I told and he started.
"Done," He told.
"Rose, what's going on?" Dimitri came inside and asked me.
"What's taking so long?" I froze hearing a dreadfully scary voice from her background.
'"They have lots of customers," Jill replied.
"Jill, sweetheart listen, I'm here with my Uncle, cousin, and Dimitri Belikov. We all are here to help you. Are you in help of need?" I asked her.
"Yes," She replied. I closed my eyes clenching my hands tightly.
"Son of a bitch" I muttered.
"Jill sweetheart it's me, Rose's uncle. I want you to tell me how many people are there along with you," Papa asked seeing I'm too angry.
"I'd like to have two big mac chicken burgers, for two people," She told.
So she's alone with that bastard,' I thought.
"Thank you so much, Jill, now tell me are you in a stable condition? If you are, tell extra cheese, if you're not, tell extra ketchup, if you have no idea, tell me french fries," I told her.
"I'd like to have both extra cheese and french fries," She replied.
"Eddie, call the doctor as well," Baba told me.
"Jill darling, is he armed? If he's, tell a chocolate milkshake," Baba told.
"No, no need for a chocolate milkshake," She told.
I sighed with relief.
"Okay, final question. It's going to be a very hard one. But I want you to answer it truthfully and tell the address along with it," I told her.
"Hmm," She replied.
"Did he rape you?" I asked her and others look at me.
"No, the address is North hill apartments, apartment no 36," She told.
"What about the neighbours?" Papa asked.
"No need of anything else please make it quick, thank you," She told and the line went off.
"We have to go now. No need for a plan," I told them and they nodded
"Stay here. You aren't going with us," Papa told and I shook my head.
"I understand that you're concerned, but she's not in a stable condition. She won't trust any one of you," I told and Eddie nodded.
"Let's go, look I'm going to go first, and talk with her boyfriend a small act, and then drag him out. Eddoe you're going to cover me as my boyfriend, and then we fight," I told.
"It's too risky," Dimitri told.
"I know, but we don't have a choice, trust me, I did train combat once I came here," I told him.
I went upstairs to put on a dress and took my purse.
"Why do you need that?" Papa asked me.
"Just trust me," I told, as we got into the car. I did my hair in the car.
"Once again, this is the plan. We had an encounter a few days ago. And I yelled at him, so we are going to act like I'm there to apologise to him. I'm going with my boyfriend, who's Eddie. And I don't know where Jill is, and we will attack him when I start it," I told them.
"Rose, I'm in control, of the security system, you don't have to worry about it," Mason told me.
"What about neighbours?" I asked.
"we'll take care of them," Dimitri told.
"We're here," Papa told.
"Let's go," I told

"Oh, you? What the hell do you want? Why are you here?"
As expected, Lee opened the door, and his face darkened seeing me.

"I... uhh, I," I stuttered.
"Jill's not here, so get the fuck out!" He told.
"I'm not here for her. I'm here to meet you," I told hurriedly before he close the door. He stopped and raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I wanted to apologize for my behaviour, last time we met. I overreacted, and it was completely immature for me to act like that. I was so worried about Jill because we always dreamt about performing on the day of the concert, and when she suddenly told me that she doesn't want to perform I freaked out," I told in one breath making him smirk.
"So you realise it finally?" He asked me and I nodded.
"So, will you forgive me? I asked him.
And he nodded smiling.
Sick bastard.
"Oh by the way this is my boyfriend, Emmett," I told dragging Eddie to my side.
"Hey man, I'm sorry for what my girl did," He told me.
"No problem, girls and their mode swings. I'm Lee by the way," He told stretching his hand for Eddie to shake.
"Emmet. Emmet Rivers," He told shaking his hand.
"YOU MOTHER FUCKING SON OF A BITCH," I yelled hitting his dick, making him groan in pain.
I was seeing red! So fucking red!
I pulled him over and started throwing punches to his face. I'm pretty much sure I broke his nose.
"Rose, go get Jill. I'll take care of him," Eddie told and I snapped my head and nodded, going inside.
"Jill? Baby Jill, it's me, Rose. Where are you?" I yelled as I went inside.
"Rose," A small head peeked from a room making me go near it.
"Oh Jill, come here,' I told holding my hands for her. She broke down, as she sprinted to my arms, sobbing hard.
"He abused me, Chloe. I... I loved him, so... so much. B. but he hurt me," She said.
"Shh! You're safe now, no one can hurt you," I murmured again and again to her stroking her hair.
"Kiz?" I turned to meet my father's eyes. He eyed Jill, and then back at me.
"We have to go. She should be given proper treatment," He told and I nodded.
"Jill, baby, is it okay if one of them picks you up? I promise no one's going to hurt you," I asked her and she flinched but nodded.
"I'll take her," Papa told and I looked at Jill. She nodded.
"Th... Thank you," She mumbled.
"Please don't mention it. You took care of Rose when she was in need," Papa told picking her up.
She pressed her head to his neck breathing heavily.
"Rose," I heard Dimitri's voice as we got out of there.
"Where is he?" I asked him.
"He's with us, what do you want us to do?" He asked.
"Where is he?" I asked him again, and he led me to where he was being beaten by Eddie.
"Stop it," I told him. And he did.
"You bitch, I will kill you," Lee muttered. I smirked.
"You're lying on the floor beneath us you bastard!" I told and grabbed him by the collar.
"You, you should've never messed with my friend. You should've never touched her, never abuse her! But you did! Oh, you did! Now I will make you pay for it!" I told through gritted teeth and slammed my fist on his jaw.
I continued punching him. I couldn't stop. Jill's shaken figure appeared in my mind, her being abused appeared in my mind like a fucking movie.
'Who the fuck are you?" He asked, spitting blood.
"My name is Rose Nicole Hathaway Mazur. I'm the daughter of the most feared mafia leader and you mess with my friend you mess with me. You mess with me means you mess with them," I told slamming my fist again.
"Rose, that's enough. He's not worth it, stop," I stopped as Dimitri and Eddie pulled me back.
"Put him in the fucking basement," I told leaving them there.
...
"It started slowly. He would just raise his voice or didn't mind me when I talked with him. And then it went out of control. He started being verbal with me and made me feel so fucking horrible. It was always my fault, or he pointed it out in that way," Jessica told hugging me. I kept stroking her hair.
"And then he abused me. I told him, no, but he didn't stop. I feel like I shouldn't even be alive," She told making me look at her.
"That's not true. You have plenty of reasons to live for," I told her. She sniffed.
"How do you know about how I feel? You don't know shit Rose," She practically yelled sobbing.
"I know," I told softly making her look at me. I heard papa's intake of breath.
"I know how you feel. You feel worthless and broken, and you won't even feel yourself. You would want to kill yourself because you'd feel like there's no reason to live, but, but that's not true." I told her.
"There's a very small hope left within us. You should let her talk. It'll take time, lots of time but you have all that you need," I told her. I took a deep breath.
"I'm a survivor myself Jill, and you all saved me when I came here. Honestly, without you, I would've died but you showed me an amazing world. Just like that all you have to do is to find people who love you, and my god you're lucky, you have so many of them," I told her and she smiled softly.
"Who was he?" She asked and I sighed.
"Some sick bastard," I told her.
"You need to get some medicine for the wounds but before that, let's take a bath shall we? After your bath, I'll give you some medicine and food, and then you can sleep. Trust me you won't be able to but it's worth the try and I'll be here all the time," I told her. She nodded
"Thank you," She told and I nodded.
It has been 10 minutes since we arrived at the mansion and we're now in my room. Papa, Dimitri and Eddie stayed with us until she calmed down, in case she needed something.
"Come on," I helped her to get to the bathroom, and she sat down on the stool.
"This house is amazing!" Jill told looking around.
"I miss my small house," I told making her chuckle.
"Too much for you?" She asked and I nodded.
"Lavender or Lily?" I asked her to show me my bath bombs.
"Lily," She replied.
After preparing the tub she slowly got in. I lit the candles and turned off the lights.
"Lean back," I told her and she did. I slowly started scrubbing her hair, and then her body. She helped herself with her feminine parts.
"Can I relax for a minute?" She asked and I nodded.
"I'll go bring a towel," I told her and she nodded.
I hurried back and went to the kitchen. I found my father and Mrs Janet there.
"Ari, sweetheart is everything alright?" Papa asked me.
No papa, but Mrs Janet what's for dinner?" I asked her.
"I made Turkey chicken pie, is that alright?" She asked me.
"That's perfect, can you make a good plate of it? She told me that she haven't eaten anything since yesterday lunch. Also if you can make some soup too," I told and went back to the room.
"Jill, are you done?" I asked her.
"Yes," I heard her reply.
"Ok, here you go," I helped her to wear the robe, and to come back to the room. I made her sit on the bed.
"No hairdryer please," I heard her mumble as I took the hairdryer. I placed it back down and took another towel going back to her.
"Do you want me to put some music on?" I asked her.
"Yes please," She told. I put on some calming music before I started drying her hair.
"Can I apply for some medicine now?" I asked her and she nodded, taking off her robe and laying down. I cleaned all her cuts and bruises. before I started applying cream to it.
"These will take probably at least 1 week to heal," I told her.
"No they won't, right?" She told me and I looked at her face to find that she was crying.
"No, they won't. But like I said there's always hope," I told her.
"You should see a doctor too, tomorrow if possible," I told her.
"Lady doctor please," She told and I nodded.
"Umm, Rose?" She called me as I cleaned the bruises on her legs.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Can I borrow a shirt to sleep in?" She asked referring to my oversized T-shirts. Of course,
" I told her and brought her my biggest oversized shirt, and some new boxers.
"You even have boxers?" She asked as she wore them. I shrugged.
Right then we heard a soft knocking on the door which made her flinch. I went near it and opened it to find papa with a tray of food.
"Thank you," I told him taking it.
"Can I come inside?" He asked me, and I looked at Jill.
She nodded and I opened the door furthermore to come inside.
"Hi, sweetheart, how are you now?" He asked.
"I feel horrible, to be honest," she told, no she whispered.
"I'm sorry. But I wanted to know if you would like to see a doctor?" He asked and she nodded.
"Lady doctor please," She whispered again.
"Definitely. And I'm so sorry for bringing this up, but you should let your parents know too," He told making her tense and then crying.
"I... I can't. I feel horrible," She told.
"I know, but Mr and Mrs Dragomir would be so worried," I told her, and she nodded.
"Can you let them know now?" She asked my papa.
"Of course, we will talk to them, I think meeting them personally would be a good idea too," He told and then got up.
"Very well, eat well okay, our housekeeper Mrs Janet prepared it so we all can assure you that it's from heaven," He told making her smile softly.
"Thank you," She told him.
"Here," I helped her to eat slowly feeding her until she finished the entire dinner.
"What about you?" She asked.
"I'll eat later," I told her.
"Try to get some sleep. I'll be here," I told her, and she nodded.
I sat down beside her and caressed her scalp until she fall asleep. Then I slowly went outside turning on the bed lights.
"Baba?" I called him as I went to the living room. I found him there with others.
"Give me her parents' number," He told and I did.
"Hello, Rose. Is everything alright sweetheart, it's pretty late," I heard Jill's mother's voice.
"Umm, good evening Mrs Dragomir. And no everything's not alright, I Mr Knight there?" I asked her.
"Oh, then what is it? Anything we can help with? By the way, did Jill call you? She hasn't for a while now," I closed my eyes tears escaping from them.
"Umm, Mrs Dragomir, it's actually about Jill," I told my voice breaking.
"What... what is it? Is she alright? Where is my baby?" She asked hurriedly.
I looked at papa helplessly.
"Mr and Mrs Dragomir, I'm Rose's uncle Ibrahim Mazur," Papa told.
"Mr Mazur, I did hear about you from Jill and Lissa. But what is with my daughter, is she alright?" Mr Dragomir asked.
"I'm afraid not. She called us this evening to help her. She was involved in an abusive relationship. We helped her and brought her here. She's resting now. I believe this is something we should talk about face to face. Since it's night would it be okay if we meet tomorrow morning? She's sleeping now," He told.
I heard Mrs Dragomir sobbing.
"Is, is she alright?" Mr Dargomir asked.
"No, she's not. But it's better if you talk to her too," Papa told.
"We'll be right there," Mr Dragomir told hurriedly.
"Please, Mr Dragomir. She's too shaken up. If she faces you right now, she'll feel devasted. She needs you but right now, she has to calm herself," I told them.
"Yes, please for tonight take care of her. We'll be there in the morning," He told.
"We will. You all took care of Rose, when she needed us," Papa told.
"But why didn't she call us?" Mrs Dragomir asked.
"That I... As I told you, She doesn't want to face you. She's disgusted by herself, so she thinks you don't want to see her," I told cutting out papa.
"Did... did she tell you this?" Mrs Dragomir asked.
"No, but I know. I'm a survivor myself. I went through the phrase so I know how she feels, or at least I almost know how she feels. That's one of the reasons I left Turkey," I told and I can feel everyone's gaze on me.
"I'm so sorry, Rose," Mr Dragomir told.
"We'll meet at the hospital tomorrow at 10 a.m," He told me after a few minutes.
"Sure," Papa told and then hung up. We all sighed. He gave me my phone back. I hugged him wrapping my arms around him.
"I'm sorry," He told kissing the top of my head. I nodded.
"I searched about him, he's the son of the Liteunant at LA police. He's a drug dealer, he got away with his father's help," Uncle Pavel told.
"Jill would possibly want to go legally. So in that case he has the help from police," I told.
"And I own half of the police," Dimitri told making us look at him.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I've helped them. Even then we are a lot more powerful than they are," He told making me smile.
"Thanks," I told and he smiled.
"Well then let's call it a day, Kiz go sleep with her. She'll need you," Papa told and I nodded.
...
I came back to my room to find Jessica sleeping, so I closed my door smoothly. I got on the bed and scooped closer to Jill. Her face looked twice bigger than normal, her eyes are puffy and she looked so tired.
I closed my eyes leaning against the headboard.
"Stop! Don't! AHHH!"
His rough hands were on my breasts, squeezing them painfully. My back was burning from the whips and blood was oozing out from them. Yet he ran his nails on my wounds. I felt him ripping my underwear and I scary coldness on my bottom. And again a sound of air cutting before the pain spread to my bottom. He hit me again and again before I felt myself being ripped from the inside as I felt something enter my core. I screamed bloody murder. I screamed, thrashed, and wriggled but nothing helped with the pain nor did he get up. Everything became a blur, the voices, their laughing, everything and the only thing I felt was pain.
I felt a tear escaping my eye. I wiped it and sniffed rubbing my nose. I lay down and wrapped my arms around Jill.
"You are safe Jill. I will never let you go through what I went through, I promise that," I whispered hugging her close to me.
She woke up screaming and crying twice but I held her close kissing her forehead. It was a sleepless night. And it reminded me of all the nights I spend crying and alone without anyone to comfort me.
