Pre-Season 1.
Backstage at the set of a talk show; the special guests set to appear after the currently going on commercial break was founding members of the Seven: Homelander and Black Noir. Madelyn Stillwell the VP of Hero Management decided to show them on her Ipad the concerning files of superheroes being murdered in the last week that they were doing their best to cover up until they could break the news in a PR friendly way. Currently the ones they knew were Blue Hawk, Tek Knight (with whoever responsible having managed to steal all of his money in all of his accounts), Stormfront and Firecracker.
Madelyn was doing her best to mask how concerned she was as it was clear that they didn't go gently; Stormfront's corpse had a Swastika carved into her face with the American flag dripped over her blood soaked corpse and a message on the walls painted in her blood was ' LIBERTY 4 ALL' and Firecracker's corpse not only had her face mangled but had ' MONSTER GROOMER' carved into her back. Clearly whoever responsible had access to carefully guarded information and secrets.
"...Tek Knight Lives was still filming and we are considering filling the rest with a body stand in and CGI the face..." Madelyn told them as Homelander was angry.
"Someone is stupid enough to declare war on us and they will regret it when I get their hands on them." Homelander told her as a stage hand told them that they were due in now. Madelyn saw the two heroes leave as Ashley her assistant came rushing in to her.
"Ms Stillwell! I just got word... Translucent and Deep were just found dead in their homes... Plus Lamplighter's body was just found missing a head..." Ashley then said as Madelyn just facepalmed and was ready to snap at her assistant for this as if this was her fault.
"Not so loud Ashley and this is just great... 3 founding Seven members now..." Madelyn chastised her as Ashley gulped and shook her head. "What now Ashley..." Madelyn muttered shaking her head.
"4 actually... I just found Black Noir's naked corpse in his dressing room with his suit missing..." Ashley told her and Madelyn paused as she looked at Ashley and could tell that she wasn't lying.
Madelyn then asked "Then who the fuck is..."
"Yeah... Besides Soldier Boy; Black Noir was my other favourite superhero growing up... I was honoured to have him as my mentor when I first became a superhero and we formed the Seven together..." Homelander told the host laughing sitting on the couch with Black Noir.
Black Noir however stood up and then faced Homelander and said "you forced yourself on Becca Butcher. You are not a hero; you are a monster. She was a married woman who loved her husband and you intimidated her and forced herself to say yes. Despite what idiots may claim that is only 1 word starting with 'R'."
"What... Fuck... You could talk..." Homelander asked taken aback but Black Noir picked him up by the collar adn slammed him onto the couch.
"Nobody stop filming! This goes on until I say stop..." Black Noir snaps facing the cameras the terrified crowd started running out and Black Noir looked at the terrified and panicked Madelyn who was about to run. Black Noir then sent out heat vision at Madelyn frying her.
"You are in for it now you fuck!" Homelander snapped getting up and charging at Black Noir who had the eyes of his suit destroyed by the heat vision. Black Noir caught him and then started punching him as hard as he could.
Homelander was slammed and was in distress panic as he saw that his badly bruised face was bleeding; "You never learned how to fight because you never thought someone was capable of giving you a fight! You are a monster and I regret ever listening to you! I know this won't be as satisfying as the first time I killed you..." Black Noir told him as he picked him up and then snapped his neck as he then faced the cameras.
"Vought... You have all the names of the false heroes I killed... They are not to have services; cremulate them and then flush the remains down the toilet... Do not ever merchandise those heroes again... Act as if they never fucking existed... Do not come after me because you can't win this fight..." Black Noir said as he flew up.
Billy Butcher woke up and found himself not in his bed on the ground of some neighbourhood; "Fuck... Did I go out drinking and black out..." Butcher asked himself but then found Black Noir with his damaged mask there. "So you are the bastard who impersonated Black Noir and killed Homelander... Got to say... You have my respect and I heard that Mother's Milk somehow got Soldier Boy's head mailed to him and Mallory got Lamplighter's head..." Butcher said getting himself up.
"Got Frenchie to help look after a trafficking victim and I introduced Hughie and Robin to Starlight. Maybe they can form a polycule; if not at least be friends... See how it works out..." Black Noir told him as Butcher looked at him.
"Okay... I know Frenchie but I don't have a clue as to who Hughie or Robin is..." Butcher muttered as Black Noir chuckled in amusement. "Okay but who the fuck are you and where you came from?" Butcher asked.
"I am from the future; a Supe got time travel abilities and I came to fix the past." Black Noir then muttered as Butcher shook his head.
"Now please give me the right fucking story and not whatever drivel you got a Vought screenwriter to give you..." Butcher said as a house door that they were in front of opened.
"Oh my god Billy..." said a woman's voice and Butcher's eyes widened as he heard the voice and looked and saw the woman he thought for years dead.
"Becca..." Butcher muttered in shock as Black Noir looked at Becca and pulled her into a hug that took her aback. Black Noir then unmasked as a boy came at the door.
"Hi Mum... I'm future Ryan and I brought Dad home." the unmasked older Ryan Butcher told her with tears of joy in his eyes as Becca looked back and forth between her son and the man who looked like an older version of him.
"Okay... Seriously... How much did I drink last night..." Butcher muttered.
Okay this chapter is a change of place as the TV Tropes page for Ryan has him as a composite character with the comics version of Black Noir. So I got the Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men paperback which showed the ending of the Supes storyline of the comics (unsatisfyingly). They actually did dump Homelander's entire backstory by Mother's Milk in a call to Hughie right before basically the climax of that bit of the story and didn't delve into the psychological effects that Homelander's upbringing had on him the way the show did. Still while the comics Homelander doesn't have the depth; there is still the detail that gives him more of a tragic angle than what the show did in that he was gaslighted into being who he was by Black Noir who in the comics was the one who actually did what happened to Becca. So this is me finding a way to have a Black Noir who actually has Homelander's powers kill Homelander like in the comics even if Ryan is a more heroic character than the absolute monster that Black Noir was in the comics.
