A/N: I am so sorry for the delay, but again, a lot of updates happened on my favourites, and I still haven't caught up. Due to this, I won't start Season 4 for quite a while, but I will tell you this, that season is going to be darker than the previous ones, and some of Spider-Man's deadliest enemies will be in it.

Please read and review?

At the White House, the fight was still going on between HYDRA and the 10 heroes, as people watched from inside the buildings.

Black Panther got in front of a thug and clawed his gun to pieces, before he punched his chest and knocked him away. He then turned and saw another coming towards him, before he put his left hand on the ground, kicking the thug away as he spun around, then got back onto his feet.

Spider-Man and Spider-Woman both turned to each other, before they saw a thug coming at each other from behind. Spider-Man shot a web ball from his left hand, which blinded the one behind Spider-Woman, who then turned and kicked him away, before Spider-Man turned around and whacked the other in the face.

"OH!" the thug moaned, before he fell unconscious.

Both Spiders turned to each other and nodded.

Hawkeye ducked and rolled over a car, before he aimed an arrow and fired it, trapping two thugs in a net.

"AH!" they moaned.

Hawkeye turned as another came at him, who then raised his fist to punch him, before Black Widow came over and kicked the thug away.

"Thanks." Hawkeye said.

"Don't mention it, partner." Black Widow said. "Come on!"

Hawkeye nodded, as she turned and ran back into the battle, before he fired an arrow, trapping another thug in a net.

Nightcrawler back flipped away as Taskmaster tried to punch him, before he landed on his back and spun around.

"What the hell?!" Taskmaster exclaimed.

"Uh-uh, it's not nike to svear." Nightcrawler said, before he kicked Taskmaster with both feet, sending him flying away.

"AH!" he moaned.

Nightcrawler flipped himself up to his feet, then he turned and teleported away as a thug tried to whack him with a club.

"Huh? Where'd he-" he began.

Nightcrawler popped up behind them, then wrapped his tail around, tripping him onto his back, then he kicked the thug's face, knocking him out.

"I'm afrait sie brought zat on yourself." he joked, before he teleported away.

Nearby, Cyclone ran towards an alley, then climbed up a fire escape, then once on the rooftop, stared at the White House.

"Time to blow the house down." he declared.

He raised his arms up to create a whirlwind, but before he could sent it away, another whirlwind broke through his from behind and sent him flying away, before he hit the ground on his chest.

"Qu'est-ce que!" he cursed.

He looked up and saw Storm flying over him.

"Hé, ce n'est pas juste!" he complained.

"That should teach you a lesson about blowing down buildings." Storm hoped."You're not the big bad wolf after all."

Cyclone frowned, before Captain America's shield hit the back of his head, knocking him out cold, before Captain America caught it.

"Nice work." he remarked.

"Thank you." Storm said.

She flew off as Captain America turned and ran back into the fight, holding his shield up. As he did, he rammed and knocked two thugs aside, while Storm shot lighting bolts from her hands, frying the guns held by another three.

"What the?" one gasped, as they dropped them.

"No way?!" the second yelped.

"AH!" the third growled.

Spider-Woman jumped over and kicked one in the back, knocking him away and out cold, then she webbed up the other two with her web-shooters, trapping them in cocoons, making them fall over.

"Ha. I see why Spidey and the others like doing that." she remarked, as she'd never done that with them before.

Gambit came towards Absorbing Man, who spun his mace around.

"Like dat's gonna help?" Gambit scoffed, holding his metal Bo.

He charged at Absorbing Man, then jumped and spun his Bo around above him, but Absorbing Man grabbed him by the chest and neck.

"AH!" Gambit gasped.

Abosrbing Man kept his hand around him as he spun around, before he threw him away, then whacked him with his mace.

"AHHH!" Gambit moaned.

He went flying away, as Rogue - who was flying in the air - turned to him, before he crashed through a window, smashing it to pieces, knocking him out cold.

"OH!" he moaned.

"Remy! Ya'll pay f' that!" Rogue yelled.

She took off her right glove and flew down towards Absorbing Man, who turned to her

"No one messes with mah man!" she yelled.

Absorbing Man turned to her, before she touched his cheek to absorb him and knock him out, but nothing happened, confusing her.

"Is that all you got?" he smirked.

He punched her belly, making her stumble back, before he hit her her with mace, sending him flying upwards.

"AHHH!" she screamed, before she hit a rooftop. "Oh!"

She shook her head and pulled herself up, as Storm came flying towards her.

"Rogue, what happened?" Storm asked, as Black Widow climbed onto the rooftop.

"Ah...Ah couldn't absorb 'im." Rogue explained. "Ah don' understand."

"That's Absorbing Man." Black Widow explained. "He can absorb anything he touches, and it changes his skin tone."

"Then ah guess our absorbin' powers cancelled each othah out." Rogue deduced. "Looks lahke ah can't absorb that big guy unlike others."

They all turned and saw Absorbing Man touch a wall, turning his body into soiled bricks, like the Thing.

"Good thang ah can do more than absorb people." Rogue said, putting her glove back on.

She jumped off the rooftop and shot down towards Absorbing Man like a rocket, who turned around.

"Remembah me, bright eyes?" she asked.

She punched his face hard, sending him flying away, right into a lawn, knocking him out cold.

"Guess he's not as tough as Ah thought." she smirked, putting her fists on her hips.

Spider-Man jumped away and landed near the White House entrance, where Black Panther and Hawkeye stood.

"I can see my friends were right about you, Spider-Man." Black Panther remarked. "You're a good fighter."

"Thanks." Spider-Man said, before his Spider-Sense tingled. "Look out!"

He dived and pulled his heroes down, just an explosion went off near them, blowing a hole in the ground.

"You two okay?" Spider-Man asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." Black Panther assured. "Where'd that come from?"

"I think it came from him." Hawkeye said, pointing to his left.

They all turned and saw pieces of dust form up in the hole, before they combined into Nitro.

"I hate doing that, but you left me no choice!" he snarled.

"Whoa! Did he just-" Spider-Man began.

"Nitro's a living bomb, but he can reform himself, unlike suicide bombers." Hawkeye explained. "It's not the first time we've seen him do it."

"Oh, good, nice to know." Spider-Man said sarcastically. "How do we stop him."

"I think I know a way." came Spider-Woman's voice.

The three heroes turned as she joined them.

"Clint, use one of your stun arrows, then Spidey and I can web him up, hopefully that'll trap him and leave him out cold until we can send him away." she explained.

"It's worth a try." Black Panther agreed.

Hawkeye nodded, before he took an arrow out and fired it at Nitro's back, stunning him.

"AHHH!" he yelled.

Both Spiders quickly webbed him up with all four web-shooters, trapping him in a cocoon that covered all but his eyes, making him fall onto his side, and unable to move.

"Wow. It worked." Black Panther said.

"It must be stronger since we interweaved our webs." Spider-Man deduced. "He won't be able to change enough energy to blow out of there. Why'd you think that would work?"

"Well, I figured if you and Ghost could make it work, all us Spiders can." Spider-Woman teased.

"Good theory." Spider-Man agreed.

"Gotta admit, that might hold him." Hawkeye admitted.

The four heroes all turned left as some HYDRA thugs came towards them, but then they all turned as the White House's door opened out slightly. Once it opened up, they saw Gyrich coming out, a pistol in his hand, before he aimed it at Nightcrawler, who was closet out of the X-Men, being behind the thugs.

"Die, you freak!" he yelled.

Before he could fire, Nightcrawler vanished, and teleported in behind him.

"I beliefe zis is dangerous." he said, snatching the pistol from Gyrich's hands.

"Hey, give that-" Gryich began.

Nightcrawler teleported away, then reappeared near a bin, and threw the pistol into it.

"You freak! You'll-" Gryich began.

Nightcrawler teleported in front of him, who held up his right hand.

"I beliefe sie vere tolt to shtay-" he began, before Gyrich grabbed him by the throat. "AH!"

"You freak!" Gyrich snarled, turning slightly. "You and your fellow freaks will pay for bringing this battle here!"

"Hey, he had nothing to do with this!" came a female voice.

"And you're the real monster here!" came a male voice.

Gyrich turned slightly, as both Spider-Man and Spider-Woman dived down and kicked him, sending him flying through the door.

"AH!" he yelled.

He hit the floor as the door closed, then both Spiders webbed it shut, trapping Gyrich inside.

"That'll only hold him for about an hour." Spider-Man said.

"Then let's make this quick." Spider-Woman said, as they and Nightcrawler turned to the fight.

"After sie tvo." Nightcrawler said.

"Why, thanks, elf." Spider-Man joked.

He and Spider-Woman both jumped back into the fight, before Nightcrawler followed them.

As the battle intensified, Taskmaster ducked into an alley, then touched his left wrist.

"Boys, get us outta here." he said. "We've failed and are getting pounded. There's no way we're winning this one."

He pressed his wrist again, then turned and ran back to re-join the fight, just when a van pulled over nearby, with two HYDRA thugs in front, then the back doors opened up, showing another two.

"Get in!" one of them yelled.

"You heard him, boys!" Taskmaster said. "We're leaving."

He and the remaining HYDRA agents all ran towards the van, but only he, Cyclone - who'd recovered by now - and three thugs got in, as everyone else was either occupied or out cold, including Nitro and Absorbing Man

"What about them?" one of the thugs said.

"Leave them!" Taskmaster snarled. "The Red Skull will be furious if we're all captured."

"He's right." Cyclone said, closing the back door. "If they manage to escape, they can send word. Floor it."

The van drove off as Captain America knocked a thug with his shield, before turning to it.

"Some of them's getting away!" he yelled.

"I'll get 'em." Spider-Man said.

He jumped up and began to web-swing after the van, as Cyclone looked through its back window.

"Spider-Man's right behind us!" he growled, his accent thick.

"That web-head!" Taskmaster snarled. "I've got a score to settle with him."

He moved to the back of the van, as Nitro and the three thugs moved near the seats, before he took out a plasma gun.

"I've been waiting to use this, and now's a good time." he said.

He opened the back door and fired it at a building on his left as Spider-Man began to glide after the van, just as parts of the building began to fall.

"Whoa!" Spider-Man yelped, as his Spider-Sense tingled.

He turned left to avoid the rubble, before he stuck to a wall and climbed up to the roof. Once on the rooftop, he turned around, and saw Taskmaster firing at more buildings, causing them to collapse and block the road up.

"Oh, great! Taskmaster must not care who gets hurt, as long as he gets away." he thought. "I hope there's no one trapped in that rubble."

He jumped off the rooftop and began to glide past the rubble, turning his body to serve past some, before he turned right down the street, seeing Taskmaster had left a large mess.

"Whoa! The damage Taskmaster's done is almost as bad as the RHINO rampage!" he gasped.

He raised his arms up, going over the rubble, before he lowered himself down, then turned sideways to go through a gap, then levelled out. He raised himself up slightly, before he landed on the ground, seeing no sign of the truck.

"Hmm? No sign of that van. I must've lost them." he thought. "I couldn't even get a Spider-Tracer on it, all because of this."

He looked around, before something caught his eye, making him move closer, and saw it was a couple of dead bodies nearby. He moved nearer towards the bodies, only to find to his horror, that it was Mr. and Mrs. Durand.

"Oh, my God!" he gasped, covering his mouth area. "It...it can't be...?"

He turned away slightly, just as Nightcrawler, Spider-Woman and Black Widow dived towards him from a rooftop.

"Cap sent us to help, Spider-Man. Where's the van?" Black Widow asked.

"I lost it, can I couldn't get a tracer on it either." Spider-Man explained, turning to his fellow heroes.

"Cap, Spidey lost them." Black Widow explained, touching her earpiece. "Due to the damage done here though, I don't blame him."

"See if people are trapped. I'll have Storm and Rogue see if they can find the van." Captain America explained.

"Right." Black Widow said, lowering her hand. "We better check if anyone's trapped. Cap's. gonna have Rogue and Storm search."

"Makes sense, sinke zey're zee only flyers ve hafe." Nightcrawler agreed. "Let us hope zese poor souls are alright."

"Those two aren't." Spider-Man sighed, turning around.

Black Widow, Nightcrawler and Spider-Woman turned to the Durands and gasped.

"Zose poor people. Hov horrible." Nightcrawler said sadly. "I'll begin to look arount."

He teleported away, before the girls approached Spider-Man.

"You okay?" Spider-Woman asked.

"Yeah, it's just...they're my sister's foster parents." Spider-Man sighed.

Spider-Woman's mouth fell open, while Black Widow gasped.

"Oh... I'm sorry." Spider-Woman said.

"Me too." Black Widow said. "I...I'll leave you two alone and help Nightcrawler."

She turned and ran off, leaving the two Spiders alone.

"I better tell Aunt May what happened." Spider-Man sighed. "I... I can only imagine how my sister's gonna react to-"

"You go on. We'll handle this." Spider-Woman said. "Your sister needs to know."

Spider-Man nodded, then he turned and jumped up onto the rooftop, then took out his phone, knowing he had to tell Aunt May the bad news regarding the Durands.

"Aunt May, something's happened which you need to know." he began, before he told her the bad news.

About an hour later, all the heroes - expect Rogue, Storm and Black Panther - stood on a rooftop together, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Nightcrawler standing near the edge, the rest further back, Gambit clutching his chest as he'd been bruised. During their time searching the rubble, they'd found nine more people trapped, but unlike the Durands, they'd all survived, but were injured. The two Spiders and Nightcrawler all were currently looking down as Paramedics loaded the dead bodies of the Durands into an ambulance, before it drove off, as Spider-Man sighed, before Spider-Woman touched his shoulder.

"You doing okay, Peter?" Spider-Woman whispered, touching his shoulder.

Spider-Man nodded, but kept a sad face on, as his Aunt May was horrified from what she told him, and he'd learned that Teresa was heartbroken when she told his sister.

"If zey'fe leat a goot life, i'm sure zey're in a better plake." Nightcrawler assured hopefully.

"I know." Spider-Man sighed.

"Dit sie knov zem both vell, my frient?" Nightcrawler asked.

"No. I only met them today, but I felt a strong connection to them." Spider-Man explained. "They're my sister's foster parents."

"Oh..." Nightcrawler said.

"Kurt, do me a favor will ya?" Spider-Man asked. "I've heard from Bobby that you're..."

"Sie vant me to pray for zem?" Nightcrawler inquired.

"Please?" Spider-Man said. "Bobby said you did that after we arrested Trask, for my parents and everyone else who died at his hands."

"I dit, ant i vill, my frient." Nightcrawler promised, touching his shoulder. "I'll do so for anyone else vho diet here as vell, onke ve knov."

"Thanks." Spider-Man sighed.

"You must be very religious, Kurt?" Spider-Woman inquired, turning to him.

"If it vere not for my appearanke, I voult be a Priest." Nightcrawler explained. "I'm a Catholik."

"Oh, right. I know there's a difference between a Priest and a Minster/Reverend." Spider-Man explained. "Just curious."

"To eakh his ovn, just like hov Kitty's Jevish." Nightcrawler understood.

The three heroes turned to the others, as they looked up, and saw Rogue and Storm flying over, Rogue carrying Black Panther, before they all landed on the rooftop.

"How many were innocents killed during their escape?" Capt. America asked, as all ten heroes gathered together.

"Fortunately, jus' those two, although th' othah nine people are so badly hurt they need t' go t' hospital." Rogue explained sadly.

Spider-Man sighed and lowered his head, before Spider-Woman touched his shoulder, knowing she had to do something to help.

"What's up with Spider-Man?" Black Panther asked.

"The couple killed were his sister's foster parents." Spider-Woman explained.

"Oh... I'm sorry, kid." Black Panther said sympathetically.

"We...all are." Storm said, as the other heroes nodded.

"Thanks." Spider-Man said.

"What about the HYDRA agents?" Capt. America asked.

"We got all but those two bozos an' th' a few thugs that escaped in th' van." Rogue explained.

"We did a through search, no sign of their escape van, or any other damage to the city." Black Panther explained.

"So, Taskmaster, Cyclone and a few minor thugs escaped, but we got the rest." Capt. America sighed.

"Yes." Storm confirmed. "I have a feeling their boss won't be happy with what's happened through."

"No, they won't." Hawkeye agreed. "And it wouldn't be the first time."

"At least with Nitro in custody, they won't be able to cause much more damage, since he's a living bomb." Black Widow reasoned.

"Well, what about Gyrich?" Black Panther asked. "I mean, we all saw what he tried to do."

"Take a look?" Storm suggested, pointing at the White House.

They all approached the edge of the rooftop behind her, seeing Gyrich arguing with Kelly and other Politicians in the field, while a few Cops came towards them.

"You saw what happened! The Mutants-" Gyrich began.

"They helped save our lives!" Kelly snapped, clutching his fists. "We all saw it, and you tried to attack them and help those terrorists!"

"Because they were with them!" Gyrich snapped. "You saw it! Those freaks-"

"Black Widow has vouched for them!" a Senator argued.

"Then she's been brainwashed-" Gyrich began.

"Gyrich, inside!" bellowed a voice.

They all turned and saw one of the President's bodyguards coming toward him.

"The President wants a word with you, alone." he said sternly.

Gyrich frowned and followed him, as Kelly and the others all looked at each other, while the Cops stopped and turned around.

"Guess he's in trouble." one said.

"Yeah." another agreed.

Kelly and the Politicians all turned kept looking at each other, as the Cops walked off.

"Gyrich really is racist." the first Senator said.

"He sure is." the second agreed. "Some of us may hate Mutants, but after today, I don't think they'll all bad."

"Neither do I." Kelly admitted, turning to the others. "I may have been wrong about them before today, but still, we need to find a way to keep the evil ones under control. Perhaps we need a compromise for what I originally had in mind."

"Maybe we... Maybe we should let one of those Mutants come here and tell them why they did what they did today." a third suggested. "Perhaps if we knew why they helped the Avengers, we might better understand them."

"You're right, but with Gyrich around, I doubt he'll listen." Kelly argued. "I starting to wonder who's worse, him or his friend Trask."

"You and me both." the first agreed. "We better get inside, since the reporters won't be back for a while."

They all turned and walked into the White House, before the ten heroes all looked at each other on the rooftop.

"Well, I think your help might have helped Mutants." Capt. America said.

"Yeah. If people see this on the News, hopefully they'll come around." Black Widow said.

"We can only hope." Storm sighed.

"Let's hope Gyrich gets his comeuppance." Rogue said.

"You can only hope, guys." Hawkeye said.

"When we get back, we'll take this up with Cyclops and the Professor." Storm explained. "Hopefully, they'll agree to come here, or at least one of them."

"It would be wise of some of you went as protection just in case, Ororo." Black Panther advised.

"I'm sure Cyclops would agree to that, old friend." Storm assured.

She turned as Captain America held his hand out.

"Thank you for your help, all of you." he said. "It's been an honor fighting with you again."

"The honor was all ours." Storm assured, shaking his hand.

"Ya need us again, let us know." Rogue said.

"We will." Black Widow promised.

Rogue grabbed Gambit and Nightcrawler, before she flew off with them, Storm right behind them. The Avengers - expect Spider-Woman - all turned and walked off, before they stopped and turned to her, who turned from Spider-Man to them.

"You coming, Jess?" Hawkeye asked.

"You guys go on." Spider-Woman said. "I... I need to do something first, out of costume, for Spidey's sake. I can make my own way back."

"Right. We'll see you then." Black Widow said.

She, Hawkeye, Captain America and Black Panther all turned and jumped off the rooftop, leaving the two Spider heroes alone, who stared at each other.

"Why you staying?" Spider-Man asked.

"I wanted to make sure you're okay." Spider-Woman explained, approaching him.

"I'll be okay...but I feel sorry for my sister." Spider-Man sighed. "I only met her and her foster parents today, and she just lost them both."

"I can only imagine how she'll feel." Spider-Woman sighed. "You have told your Aunt May what's happened, right?"

"Yeah, I have. She told me Teresa's heartbroken." Spider-Man explained.

"Teresa?" Spider-Woman questioned.

"That's her name." Spider-Man sighed. "I guess it's a good thing she was with Aunt May."

Spider-Woman touched his shoulder.

"And it's a good we found her in time, otherwise she might not have known about you and May." she said. "I know it's a horrible thing to say, but it is the truth."

"Yeah, it is." Spider-Man sighed. "Aunt May and I are all she has left."

"If I know you the way I do, you'll do the best you can for her." Spider-Woman assured.

Spider-Man smiled slightly before they hugged each other like siblings, then pulled apart.

"I... I better get back down in case there's another speech." he said.

"I understand. Take care of yourself, Peter." Spider-Woman said.

"You too, Jess. And thanks." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Woman turned and ran off, before she jumped off the rooftop and began to glide through the city, as Spider-Man jumped down into an alley to change.

A few days later, in a cemetery, during a rainstorm, the Durands funeral was taking place, with Peter, Aunt May and Teresa sitting together, with Jessica among the crowd, who'd contacted SHIELD to help pay for this. Due to the rain, everyone had either an umbrella or hat on to shield themselves from it. Teresa cried her eyes out as her two friends both sat behind her, as the Reverend stood by their coffins, before he closed up his book, having read the eulogy for them.

"And now, as we say our final goodbyes, I would like everyone to stand up?" he asked.

Everyone stood up as he put his book under his arm, as the pallbearers moved away from the coffins.

"And now, we lower our fallen brother and sister into the ground." the Reverend said sadly. "May they both rest in peace."

Teresa cried as her foster parents coffins were lowered into the ground, as Peter wrapped his arm around her. Aunt May smiled slightly, before she joined the hug, then they both led Teresa towards them, both with an umbrella. She picked up two flowers and threw one into each grave, before Peter and Aunt May led her away from them. As they did so, Teresa's two friends followed them with their own umbrellas, before Jessica got in front of them, holding her own, making her two friends stop and turn away.

"Who is that?" Kari wondered.

"No clue." Laura whispered.

"Teresa, I'm Jessica Drew." Jessica said. "I'm sorry about your loss."

"Thanks, Ms. Drew." Teresa sobbed. "I heard you paid for all this."

Peter and Aunt May looked at Jessica, who nodded, while Kari and Laura gasped.

"That sure was nice of her." Laura whispered.

"Yeah." Kari nodded.

"So, how you holding up?" Jessica asked Teresa.

"I...I'll be okay." Teresa sobbed. "I miss them."

"Teresa, we know how it feels." Peter assured. "When Uncle Ben died, we felt exactly the same."

"You...you did?" Teresa asked, turning to him.

"Yeah." Peter said.

"It'll get easier with time, Teresa, but they'll always be with you." Aunt May promised.

Teresa smiled as she wiped her tears.

"Thanks, Aunt May." she said, hugging her tight.

Aunt May returned it as Peter smiled, before he turned to Jessica and approached her.

"Did you really help arrange this?" he whispered.

"Yeah. The least I could do, since I helped you find your sister in the end." Jessica whispered. "I wish it had never turned out like this."

"Me neither." Peter whispered. "Aunt May and I had to find a rental place for our suits, since we never figured on a funeral."

"Well, look, I better get going." Jessica said, touching his shoulder. "Take care of yourself."

"You too." Peter said.

They both shook hands, before Aunt May and Teresa came over, then Jessica shook Aunt May's hand.

"Thanks for everything." Aunt May said.

"You're welcome." Jessica said, before she shook Teresa's hand. "You'll be alright?"

"I'll try." Teresa said.

Jessica turned and walked off towards the entrance, as the Parkers stared at her. Teresa wiped her tears from her eyes, as her two friends came towards them. Once they were close, the Parkers turned to them both, who both looked at Peter, as they never got a chance to meet him or see his face until today.

"Whoa. Teresa wasn't kidding about the resemblance." Laura whispered.

"No, she wasn't." Kari agreed quietly. "He sure is cute. Man, that girlfriend of his sure is lucky, whoever she is."

Laura nodded, as she also thought Peter looked cute, before Teresa approached the pair.

"Thanks for being here, guys." she said.

"Hey, you're our friend, Teresa." Kari said. "You'd do the same for us."

"In a heartbeat." Laura added, nodding.

"Um, you must be Teresa's friends?" Peter assumed, as he and Aunt May approached them.

"Yes." Kari nodded.

"Well, I wish I wasn't meeting you under these circumstances." Peter said.

"Neither did we." Laura assured. "We can see she wasn't lying about the resemblance."

"Thanks." Peter said. "I really appreciate it."

"So, I guess, we won't be seeing you as much as we used too." Laura sighed.

"What do you mean?" Teresa asked.

"You're gonna have to move, but we'll be your friends forever, no matter how far the distance is." Kari promised.

Teresa looked puzzled, before Aunt May touched her shoulder, making her turn to her.

"Oh...I see." she sighed. "With my foster parents now gone, you and Peter and all I have."

"Yes." Aunt May said.

"Teresa, we know this isn't what you wanted." Peter said, touching her other shoulder. "But we're your family. Our place in Queens is your home..."

"I guess it is." Teresa said. "Now that my foster parents are gone, I'll have to go back to the orphanage otherwise."

"Which means, you're coming back to New York with us?" Aunt May assumed.

"I guess I'll have too." Teresa sighed, before she turned to her friends. "This is what you meant, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is, Teresa." Kari said. "We'll promise to try and keep in contact with you, and maybe visit whenever we can."

"I'll do the same." Teresa promised.

She hugged her two friends in a group hug, crying slightly as she did, before she pulled away, then turned to her family.

"We'll leave tomorrow morning." Aunt May said. "Give you time to pack and all that."

"Thanks. You know, I guess it's a good thing you two found me, Aunt May." Teresa sighed. "Otherwise I'd be back at the orphanage, and I might never get adopted again."

"Well, I'm glad we did too." Aunt May said. "We'll help you every step of the way once we get to Queens tomorrow."

Teresa nodded and hugged her slightly, before the family walked off, Peter putting his hand on his sister's shoulder as they did. As they did, Laura and Kari turned to each other and nodded, before they ran after them.

The next morning, at the airport, Aunt May and Teresa both sat beside each other, their suitcases already heading for the plane, while Peter was as well, making a phone call.

"Did you pack everything you needed yesterday?" Aunt May asked.

"Yes, Aunt May. My friends helped me with everything last night." Teresa explained, as they'd done most of that yesterday, expect for the last few bits she did this morning.

"Okay. But is something bothering you?" Aunt May inquired.

"Well, I..." Teresa began, before she stopped, not knowing what to say.

"Teresa, you can talk to me?" Aunt May said.

"I just think it'll take time for me to fit into New York." Teresa sighed. "I mean, I've gone to several places before with my foster parents, but I've never fully moved away from here."

"We'll help you every step of the way." Aunt May assured. "So will Peter's friends."

Teresa looked up at her Aunt.

"You really think they'll accept me?" she asked.

"I know they will." Aunt May assured. "You know, for a long time, Peter didn't have many friends, but after Uncle Ben died, he sort of managed to make many more. Even some people who used to bully and tease him have changed since then."

"Really?" Teresa inquired. "I've seen bullies around here, and well, they don't seem likely to change. They even pick on people way younger than them."

"Well, you never know." Aunt May said. "Hopefully, you won't have to deal with that in Queens."

"So, what are you gonna do about my schoolwork?" Teresa asked.

"I'll send you to the school I sent Peter too." Aunt May said. "At least we know where it is."

"Okay." Teresa sighed.

Peter turned as he stayed on the phone.

"So, I gotta go. I'll see you and the others later, Gwen." he said.

"Okay, Pete. Love you." Gwen said.

"Love you too." Peter said.

He put his phone away and walked towards Aunt May and Teresa, who turned to him.

"Well?" Aunt May said.

"I called Gwen and she said she'll be at the house when we get there, along with the others." Peter explained.

"Good to know." Aunt May said.

"Who's Gwen?" Teresa asked.

"My girlfriend, and trust me, you'll like her, sis." Peter said. "I'm still getting used to staying that."

"Well, trust me, it'll take me a while to get used to calling you bro." Teresa assured. "Guess that makes us even."

Peter smiled.

"By the way, thanks again for being at the funerals." Teresa said. "My foster parents would've liked that."

"They raised you as their own, just like me and Ben did with Peter." Aunt May said, wrapping her arm around her. "That kinda makes them family too, in a way."

Teresa sighed as she cried, already missing them both, before Peter sat down beside her and touched her shoulder.

"Let it out, sis." he said. "Let it out."

Teresa turned as she cried into her brother's shirt, before he wrapped his arms around her.

"Sorry. I..." Teresa began, pulling away.

"It's okay." Peter assured. "We understand."

Teresa smiled and wiped her tears, before they both hugged each other.

"Man, you've know each other for a few days, and already he's comforting you." came Kari's voice.

Teresa pulled away from Peter and saw Laura and Kari heading towards them, getting Peter and Aunt May to turn to them.

"What are you two doing here?" Teresa asked, getting up.

"We figured we'd say goodbye." Kari said. "With you moving all the way to Queens, we'll only see each other rarely after this after all."

"Like we said yesterday, you'll always be our friend." Laura assured.

"Thanks, guys." Teresa said.

Peter and Aunt May smiled, before they got up as the three friends hugged each other again. They pulled apart, before they all moved and sat down with the Parkers, before they all turned to each other.

"So, when's your flight?" Kari asked.

"10:30." Peter replied.

"Right." Kari said.

"Hey, um, I know you said you're from Queens, Mrs. Parker, but which area?" Laura asked. "Just so we know for when we decide to visit."

"Forrest Hills, Laura." Aunt May said. "And look, if you do, here's the address."

She took out a notepad and pen from her purse and wrote down the address of their home, before she gave it to Laura.

"Thanks." she said.

"You're welcome." Aunt May said. "I wish we had a chance to meet your parents, but-"

"It's okay, Mrs. Parker." Kari assured. "If we ever get a chance to visit, we'll make sure of that."

Aunt May smiled, as Peter looked at Kari and Laura.

"I wish I could've known you two a bit better, since you're my sister's friends." he admitted. "She'll get the chance to know mine, but not me."

"We understand that, Peter." Laura assured. "It's not your fault due to what happened."

Peter nodded, knowing what she meant, as Mr and Mrs Durand had died before he nor any of his hero friends could get to them. They all sat there for a few minutes in silence, before they heard a woman's voice.

"Attention, United Airlines flight UA1982 for New York is now boarding." she announced.

Aunt May and Peter looked at their watches, and saw it was 10:30am, meaning it was their flight.

"Well, that's our flight." Aunt May said, as they all got up.

"I promise we'll try and keep in contact with each other." Laura promised.

"Thanks, guys." Teresa said.

She cried slightly and hugged her two friends, before she turned and walked off with Peter and Aunt May towards her flight, off to her new life in Queens, and away from her two best friends.

About 3 and a half-hours later, at 2pm, a taxi pulled up outside the Parker house in Queens, then the three Parkers got out and took out their luggage, before Aunt May paid the driver.

"Well, Teresa, welcome to your new home." Peter said, as the taxi drove off.

Teresa looked at it, opening her mouth in shock, before she turned to her family.

"It's... It's nice." she admitted.

"Teresa, we set up a spare bedroom for you since we found out about you." Aunt May explained. "It's all yours."

"Even if you were just coming for visits, it would've been." Peter assured.

"T-Thanks." Teresa said.

They all slowly walked towards the house, before Peter took out the keys to open it, only for the door to open up when he put it in.

"Huh?" he muttered.

"Um, why's the door unlocked?" Teresa asked.

"Well, I did tell Gwen to meet us." Peter said. "Guess they're all inside."

"I think Peter's friends might've arranged a welcoming party for you, Teresa." Aunt May said.

"Guess we better go in so you can meet them." Peter said.

Teresa nodded as Peter and Aunt May entered the house, before putting their luggage down by the stairs, before she followed them in. As Teresa looked around, Peter and Aunt May turned to the sitting room, before they entered it. Teresa turned and followed them, before they all saw Gwen, Harry, Mary Jane, Miles and Anya all in the sitting room, waiting for them.

"Whoa. Peter, is this your...?" Gwen began.

"Yeah. Everyone, this is Teresa." Peter explained, touching his sister's shoulder.

"Whoa. I can see the resemblance, tiger." Mary Jane said amazed, eyeing them both.

"Yeah, me too." Harry said.

"Uh, these your friends, Peter?" Teresa asked.

"Yeah. Sis, this is Gwen, my girlfriend." Peter began, motioning to her.

"Nice to meet you." Gwen said, shaking her hand.

Teresa smiled, before turning to the others.

"I'm Harry, your brother's best friend." Harry explained.

"Mary Jane Watson, your next door neighbor." Mary Jane explained. "My friends call me MJ though."

"Uh, right." Teresa said.

"I'm Miles." Miles said, nodding.

"And I'm Anya, pleasure to meet you." Anya said, holding her hand out.

Teresa shook it and smiled, before turning to Peter.

"I didn't expect you guys to be here." Peter said. "I mean, when I told you Gwen, I thought you'd come by later."

"Well, we figured why not come over and see your sibling in person." Gwen explained.

"Yeah, we were all curious, Peter." Mary Jane said.

"Well, here she is." Peter said.

Aunt May smiled as Peter's friends looked at his sister, who smiled nervously at them all.

"Hey, Peter told us about your foster parents, Teresa." Gwen said. "We're all sorry for what happened."

"Thanks, Gwen." Teresa sobbed.

"Apart from Miles, we know what it's like." Anya explained. "We've all lost someone we love."

Teresa looked up at her, then at the others, who all nodded, expect for Miles.

"Guess I'm just the lucky one." he said.

"Um, Teresa, why don't I show you your room." Aunt May said. "We can unpack later."

"Okay, Aunt May." Teresa said.

They both turned and left the room, before the went upstairs, leaving Peter alone with his friends.

"So, it's a sister you have, eh, tiger?" Mary Jane teased.

"Yeah." Peter said. "Name after my Mom's middle name and my Grandmother. Family tradition apparently."

"Nice to know." Gwen said.

"Hand it over, Miles?" Anya asked, holding her hand out.

Miles sighed and handed her 20 dollars, confusing Peter.

"We had a bet on whether it'd be a brother or sister." Miles sighed. "Guess I lost."

"And they're not the only ones." Harry said. "Everyone from school found out, and several kids have betted on it."

"Well, I do feel sorry for those who thought it was a boy." Peter joked.

"Are you glad she's here, tiger?" Mary Jane asked.

"Well, yeah, but..." Peter sighed. "If her foster parents hadn't been killed, she would've only come over for visits."

"We understand that, Pete." Gwen said. "I mean, if my cousin Jill's Dad died, she'd have to come over here and live with me and Dad. Guess it's a good thing you found her before..."

"I know." Peter said. "She told us that at the funerals."

"Well, look, since she's here, you gonna show her around the city?" Harry asked.

"Probably in the morning." Peter replied. "Aunt May and I think it's better if she gets settled in."

"A wise choice." Anya agreed.

Peter smiled and nodded, before Harry and Mary Jane both left the sitting room, Harry as he needed the bathroom, while Mary Jane walked towards the kitchen, unknowingly leaving the four Web-Warriors alone.

"If you're gonna spend the day with her tomorrow, do you want us to fill in without you again?" Miles asked quietly.

"Depends if you guys okay with that." Peter said.

"Peter, relax, we can handle it." Gwen assured. "I mean, the city's been without Spider-Man for nearly a week, due to him being in Washington. I'm sure the city can do without him a little longer."

Peter smiled and took her hand, as the other two smiled and nodded.

"Thanks, guys." he said, before realizing what she said. "Wait, you-"

"It was all over the news." Anya assured. "No one blames you not being in the city at the time."

Peter smiled just as Mary Jane came back in with a glass of apple juice, just as Aunt May and Teresa came down the stairs.

"Well, I've shown Teresa her room." Aunt May said. "So, why don't you all spend lunch with us, due to the time."

"I think we'd all love that, Mrs. Parker." Gwen said.

"Wait, where's Harry?" Aunt May said.

"Right here, and count me in." Harry said, coming down the stairs.

"Right. Well, I'll get started, so you all get to know Teresa." Aunt May said.

She turned and walked off into the kitchen, before everyone else sat down, Mary Jane and Gwen on the couch, Peter in a chair, while the rest sat on the floor, before Teresa began explaining about herself.

The next day, Teresa woke up in her new bedroom, yawning and stretching her arms out, before she got out of bed.

"Man. That bed sure is comfy." she admitted.

She rubbed her eyes as she opened the door and left the bedroom, before she moved downstairs. As she entered the kitchen, she saw Peter sitting at the table, as Aunt May stood by the bench, who turned around.

"Oh, good morning, Teresa." she said.

"Morning, Aunt May." Teresa said. "What's for breakfast."

"It's bacon and French toast." Aunt May explained.

"How-" Teresa began.

"Your foster parents told me that was your favorite, so I figured since it's your first breakfast with us-" Aunt May began.

"It's...it's very thoughtful, Aunt May." Teresa assured. "Thank you."

She sat down beside Peter, who touched her shoulder.

"You sleep well last night?" he asked.

"Well, it was...actually pretty comfy." Teresa admitted. "It took my a while to sleep through due to-"

"Hey, we understand." Peter assured. "When Uncle Ben died, we had the same trouble."

Teresa smiled, for she'd seen the picture of their Uncle yesterday on the fire mantelpiece.

"I saw the resemblance between him and Dad." she recalled. "I wish I could've known him."

Peter smiled. "We all do. I know he would've loved you." he said.

"So do I." Aunt May said.

Teresa smiled.

Once Aunt May finished breakfast and they ate it, they put all the dishes near the sink.

"Right, I need to get to FEAST early today." she explained. "As soon as I'm ready, I'm going right over there."

"Well, why don't we all go?" Peter suggested. "We can show Teresa a little around the city while we're at it."

"I wouldn't mind that actually, since this is all new to me." Teresa said. "I know we have the rest of the summer, but it wouldn't hurt to start."

"Well, if that's what you two want?" Aunt May said.

"Yes, Aunt May." Peter said, as Teresa nodded.

After washing up, Teresa walked upstairs to get ready, leaving Peter and Aunt May alone and out of earshot.

"Peter, are you sure about this?" Aunt May asked. "I mean, what about your-"

"Aunt May, Gwen told me she and the others can handle today." Peter assured. "It's only one more day. Besides, I think Teresa would be happier if we both were there, as a family."

Aunt May smiled, seeing his point, before she nodded.

"You're right, as it's nice of your friends to do that." she said. "I guess you trained them well."

"Gwen and I have, and she'll lead them in my absence." Peter assured.

Aunt May smiled, liking how they were all going to the spend the day together.

Later, the Parkers were in a taxi, which was driven by Mousie, who pulled over in front of FEAST.

"Well, we're here." Mousie said.

"Thank you." Aunt May said, paying her.

The Parkers all got out of the taxi, which drove away, as Teresa looked at the building.

"That's where you work, Aunt May?" she asked.

"Yes. Now come on?" Aunt May said.

They all entered the shelter and looked around, seeing other volunteers working around, before Rio Morales came towards them.

"May. Glad you could make it." she said.

Aunt May smiled as they shook hands, before Rio spotted Teresa.

"I take it this is your niece Miles told me about?" she guessed.

"Yes. I'm Teresa." Teresa said.

"I'm Rio, Miles' mom." Rio said, shaking her hand.

Teresa smiled and pulled her hand away.

"So, what's happening, Rio?" Aunt May asked.

"Well, a bunch of new stuff is arriving out back." Rio explained. "And, well, we've got something going on to help raise money around here."

Peter looked up at her, thinking he knew what she meant.

"They won't be starting for another half-an-hour though." Rio explained.

"Right. So, Peter, why don't you help out, while I show Teresa around." Aunt May suggested.

"Sure, Aunt May." Peter said, before he touched Teresa's shoulder. "Stick with Aunt May, okay?"

"I will." Teresa said.

She and Aunt May walked off to the back of the place, as Peter walked off towards the back of the room to help out.

After half-an-hour, Peter was in the main room, walking towards Rio, who turned and smiled at him.

"Things going okay?" Peter asked.

"Yeah. And also, our money raising friends have arrived." Rio explained. "They're out in the parking lot at the back."

"Good to know." Peter said.

He turned and walked off, then soon approached the back door, seeing Sally, Liz and the rest of Midtown High's cheerleaders all dressed up in bikinis through the glass, all with hoses, buckets and sponges.

(Outside)

"Right, girls, come on?" Sally said, wearing a bright blue bikini. "Remember, this is to help the shelter out."

Most of the girls nodded, including Liz, who wore a green one.

"We've got everything, right?" Sally asked. "I don't want to have to start without all the equipment."

"We've double-checked everything, Cap." a dark-haired girl said, wearing a black bikini.

"Right. Get to work." Sally smiled.

The girls all turned and began to move around the parking lot, where at least 3 dirty cars were. The dark-haired one however approached the end of the parking lot with a sign, which she held up saying 'Car Wash, 30 dollars'. As the others all began pouring water all over the cars with the buckets or hoses, Peter opened the door and stepped outside.

"Well, I can see they weren't kidding." he thought. "If Sally helps raise money for this place, I'll know she's changed."

He walked towards the nearest car, getting the girls attention.

"Hey, girls." he said.

Liz smiled and approached him, while Sally turned to the other girls.

"All right, girls. Get back to work!" she said. "Remember, we're doing this for charity!"

The other girls began to either spray the cars with the hoses or throw buckets onto them, while a few began to scrub them with sponges, while Liz stopped near Peter.

"Hey, Petey." she said. "Didn't think you'd be here today?"

"Well, yeah. I was helping Aunt May bring some new stuff over from the truck that just left." Peter explained.

"Oh, I see." Liz said.

"This the car wash thing you girls had planned?" Peter asked.

"Yeah." Liz said. "We hope it'll help people realize we're more than just people to look at by being helpful."

"Well, I'm glad to hear it." Peter said. "You all deserve to be treated like that."

Liz smiled. "Thanks." she said.

"Um, you got your camera with you, Parker?" Sally asked.

"Uh, I think so." Peter replied. "Why?"

"Well, I was thinking maybe you could take some pictures of us." Sally said. "Might help us make the press and show people what we've done."

"Oh..." Peter said. "Let me just check?"

He took his backpack off, before he turned around and opened it up, showing his mask, gloves, web-shooters and boots of his costume, but also his camera.

"You're lucky, girls." he said, taking it out. "I've got it."

"Good. We're just about to start, so can you get to work?" Sally asked.

"Sure. Just try not to get me wet?" Peter asked. "If you do, my camera will get wet, meaning I might have to stop."

"Understood, Parker." Sally said.

She turned to the others.

"Girls, if you don't mind, but we've got someone who's gonna take pictures of us." she explained, getting everyone's attention. "So, try and pose for the camera."

"Understood." a few said, as others nodded.

"Right. You wanna get started, Petey?" Liz asked.

"Sure. I think I'll start with the sign, actually." Peter said.

Liz and Sally both smiled as Peter walked over to the sign, as the girl holding it turned around and held it up. After Peter took four shots with his camera, he turned around and began snapping pictures of the girls clearing the cars. He snapped a few of girls hosing a car, with one throwing a bucket of water on one, a couple of a few girls washing one with sponges, three with a few girls - including Liz - wiping one with cloths. Some of the girls soaked themselves with sponges as they cleaned one up, as Peter took a few shots of them. In each one, the girls smiled and shook their bodies slightly, but due to his skill, there was no blurs.

"Okay..." he thought.

He turned and took a few shots of Sally wiping the hood of a car, then turned as a brown-haired girl in a yellow bikini dumped a bucket of a water on another's head, who wore a dark blue one.

"Hey!" the girl complained.

The first laughed and ran off slightly, as Peter looked at his camera.

"Good thing I didn't get that one." he thought. "That girl would be mad."

A few minutes later, after taking a few more pictures, he began going through them on his camera while sitting on a bench, when Sally came over and sat down beside him, then had a look at them all herself.

"Wow. I gotta admit, pretty impressive shots." Sally admitted. "They're not even blurred by our movements."

"Well, if that's a complement, thanks." Peter said.

"You'll email them off to the Bugle, right?" Sally asked. "That's where you work, after all."

"I will." Peter assured. "Just don't blame me if it doesn't make the front page. Won't be my decision."

"We'll all understand that." Sally assured. "Just wait 'til we've finished so you can tell them how much we made, okay?"

"You got it." Peter understood. "Let me know, okay?"

Sally smiled and nodded, before she got up and walked off to help her friends, as Peter got up and walked towards the back door. Once he got close, he was about to open it, when Teresa opened it from the other side, getting Peter to stop.

"Hey. You had a good look 'round?" Peter asked, approaching her.

"Well, yeah. Pretty big place." Teresa said. "I really like what Aunt May's doing here, helping people in need. My foster parents would've done the same."

"Glad to know." Peter said.

"Um, so what exactly are you doing out here, Peter?" Teresa asked. "I mean, what..."

She pointed over at the car wash, as Liz turned to them both.

"Hey, is that your long-lost sibling, Pete?" Liz asked.

Peter turned as Sally came over, while the other girls kept washing the cars.

"Yes. This is Teresa, my long-lost sister." Peter said, wrapping his arm around her. "Teresa, this is Sally and Liz, two of my classmates."

"Hi." Teresa said, waving.

Sally and Liz turned to each other.

"Flash and Randy owe us." Liz grinned.

"Ha. Those bozos." Sally smirked.

"They thought it was a boy too?" Peter inquired.

"Yeah." Liz replied.

"What kind of a name is Flash?" Teresa asked.

"It's his nickname, sis. He's real name's Eugene." Peter explained. "And you know, his sister Jessie's around your age, so she might be one of your classmates."

"Really?" Teresa asked.

"Wait, she's the same age as Jessie?" Liz inquired, looking at Teresa.

"Yeah. She turned 12 last April." Peter explained.

"Well, she will be then. Jessie's just turned 12 herself." Liz explained. "I'll speak with Flash to ask Jessie to help you get around your new school."

"Thanks." Teresa said sadly.

"Hey, I'm sure you'll fit right in." Sally assured. "It happens to a lot of kids."

Teresa smiled and nodded hopefully, before she turned and walked off, then re-entered the shelter.

"Man, your sister looks...cute." Liz admitted.

"Thanks." Peter said.

"She sure does, and I can see the resemblance." Sally noted.

"MJ said the same thing yesterday." Peter assured. "I'll see you two later."

"See ya, Petey." Liz said.

She and Sally turned to re-join the other girls, as Peter smiled and turned and walked towards the door. As he did, he looked up as he heard a noise, and saw his fellow Web-Warriors all web-swinging away together, making him smile at them all, knowing the city could do without Spider-Man, now that there was four of them.

"I'll be back in action tomorrow." he thought.

A/N: I'm sorry for killing the Durands off, but I felt it was the only way to allow Teresa to live with Peter and Aunt May.

For those who didn't see it, Teresa's foster parents are named after Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone - her real name's Emily. Since Durand's her foster name in the comics, I couldn't add Tom Holland and Zendaya's names in, so sorry. Mrs. Durand being part German is a nod to all three of the woman as well, who are all part German in real-life.

Also, Teresa's two friends are named after Laura Bailey and Kari Wahlgren, the only two actresses who've voiced both Gwen and Mary Jane. Look that up if you don't believe me.
