Chapter 11 the festival, dangers, Copen the hunter of adepts
In a room underneath a Church in Fuyuki a man with golden hair and has an intimidating presence and air of him is seen watching the news about the festival that will happen in a few days he is then approached by a priest.
?: what do you think of this event… Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh: hmph all I see is a bunch of mongrels playing pretend not only that… but I can tell that many have a much more sinister purpose and goals.
?: I see so what are you going to do my king?
Gilgamesh: I'm going to see this festival myself to see these so called heroes are doing.
Gilgamesh heads to the door and leaves for the festival.
(Scene change)
At the Nui residents Yushai helps care for Elise as he does Gunvolt and Joule visits him noticed the girl who is resting as he explains what happened last night when he was heading home.
Gunvolt: you found a lab that was underneath a warehouse?
Yushai: yeah… and it looked like a research facility of some kind where they experiment on people who has either Quirks or Septima…
Gunvolt: …
Yushai: I believ that girl is one of the people they experimented on, I think her ability was bringing people back from the died, however it look like they created a split personality who is cruel along with bullying the original whose already traumatized after what happened to her.
Gunvolt: … I see what about her parents?
Yushai: I tried looking for her parents and it looks like her mother was searching everywhere for her when she disappeared for now I'm going to have her stay here until she has calmed down and is ready to be sent back home.
Gunvolt: Yushai I think she should remain here for now. Don't forget Sumeragi is still trying to find Joule and they are definitely going to try and find her as well.
Yushai: don't worry I'll keep her safe.
Gunvolt: okay then I'll see you later.
Gunvolt and Joule soon left the house and headed back to Gunvolt's apartment, a few hours later Elise finally woke up she wondered where she was, Yushai tells her at his house and that she was safe, she tries to use her Septima but couldn't she wondered why Yushai tells her that he destroyed the blade that she used against him when he defeated her he assumed he also destroyed the power that was inside as well Elise soon started crying knowing that it was gone and that she was finally free from it.
The two then started talking about what happened along with what Sumeragi did to her, Elise tells him what happened to her.
(Scene change)
(Final Fantasy Lightning returns - The Glittering City of Yusnaan)
A few days later it was time for the festival to begin, many students from many different countries all arrive to represent their schools, Yushai is seen in the stands along with Gunvolt, Joule, Tina and Elise as they wait for the competition to begin.
In the higher stands the other factions leaders are seen watching the games as everyone gets excited soon the students from many different countries enter the stadium and among them is Izuku and his class, Kiana and her class, Ryuko and her class, D whose disguised as Hibiki and the Ranger force, then finally students from Vought's own school arrived.
Everyone cheers for the students who has arrived then it was time for the opening ceremony to begin then Bakugo goes up to the stage to give his speech but it was something that no one saw coming.
Bakugo: just to let you all know. I'm going to win.
Yushai: ugh…
Gunvolt : what in the world?
Joule: um I don't understand…
Elise: isn't that a bit mean…
Tina: oh.. he's one of those people.
Soon all of the other students yelled and scream at Bakugo for saying such a thing, Kiana wants to teach him a lesson, Ryuko wants to punch him, D wants to beat the living day lights out of him.
Then it was time for the obstacle course race once everyone was ready they were all off but Shoto who is from class 1-A freezes the entrance and gets a big head start on everyone however the Ice gets blasted to bits by Bakugo who chases after him many others all run as well using everything they can to get first place.
Until they encounter the robot course after a kid with grapes in his head was knocked away Shoto and Bakugo already gone by them the rest of the rest all try to catch up.
Kiana: I'm not giving up so easily!
Ryuko: who came up with these ideas!?
D: I'm going to get those Rangers for this I swear!
Izuku: I'm still in this.
Soon the students all arrive at the next area that is a canyon many students try to be careful to not fall down as they get through it they all arrive at the final obstacle, it was a Minefield which was full of bombs, Yushai hope that Izuku can get through this obstacle many students all try to be careful where they step so that none of them don't get blown up by the hidden bombs.
Shoto is seen almost out of the field until he saw Bakugo using his Quirk to try to pass but it's not just him Kiana, Ryuko and Finally D was behind him try to pass him as well ignoring the dangers of the bombs until a bigger explosion happened from far behind and from it was Izuku who used the mines that he secretly gathered to give him a boost to send him flying to the front ahead of the group who saw him and was shocked then Izuku hit the ground with the metal piece of the robot from the first obstacle and hit another mine which exploded in front of them.
The camera still viewed the entrance as everyone waits for who will arrive first then someone came it was none other than Izuku who made it first everyone was surprised by this and was impressed by this, even those who were hidden that are watching this are amazed by him.
Rin: no freaking way he actually made it!
Shirou: I can't believe it…
Sakura: wow…
Shinji: hmph…
Rider: impressive…
Lancer: not bad kid, not bad.
Saber: that was truly something.
Archer: he used the bombs to give him boost then he predicted where the next bomb was… is this kid like the idiot or worse? Either way impressive.
Gilgamesh: hmph at least the one of the mongrels gave a good show.
Everyone cheers for Izuku as he completed the obstacle course in first place, soon Everyone else came in, Bakugo was upset that he lost to Izuku, Kiana is crying a waterfall realizing she lost, Ryuko is impressed that the kid one first and D he passed out after all that running he had to do, then many of the others came and are also exhausted from the obstacle race.
Soon the second event begins known as Cavalry battle where you must take points from the other teams and the first place winner has 10,000,000 points which makes Izuku a big target for everyone to go after.
Yushai: … oh no.
Gunvolt: well… we definitely didn't see that coming.
Soon everyone got a team of there own and began taking points from everyone else as the hours passed it was over Shoto was in first, Bakugo second, someone named Shinso third, Izuku fourth, Kiana fifth, Ryuko sixth and finally D who is still pretending to be Hibiki is seventh.
Then the final event began it is a one on one battle for the gold but sadly most of the participants have dropped out from the battle but some remained and was determined to win, so battles began Izuku winning his battles the others do so as well some didn't were defeated.
The next battle petted Ryuko against Shoto who was able to freeze her with his ice and knocking her out of ring, Ryuko wishes she had Senketsu with her then she would have won but she doesn't want to reveal her body to the public, Kiana does battle against Tokoyami who uses his shadow to fight her which gives Kiana more trouble and just as she was about to fight back she noticed she's already out of the ring which means she's out.
Kiana: noooo!
Yushai: I think she should have paid attention to her surroundings…
The next fight was Bakugo fighting against Mai who uses a katana against him which gave the hot head a lot of trouble until he grabbed it and destroyed it then he blasts Mai out of the ring with a powerful blast winning him his fight.
Izuku is seen fighting against the disguised D who was having a hard time already until he was knocked out of the ring. Shoto battles against Bronya whose machine ally was instantly frozen and so was her which means she lost as well.
The battles continues on Bakugo defeated Ochako even as she gave it her all, the next fight was something unexpected as Izuku gave Shoto the resolve to go all out as he uses both ice and fire on Izuku whose already badly hurt as he too gives it his all shocked everyone but he too is knocked out of the ring.
Yushai: … Izuku… you gave it your all.
Joule: why did he want that boy to overcome his problems?
Gunvolt: I don't know? … but I think that helped him a bit.
Elise: …
Tina: that was still a good battle though and he went out fighting.
Archer: … he's just like that idiot… and at the same time isn't.
The next battle was between Bakugo and Tokoyami who lost and was defeated as well then it was on to the final battle between Bakugo and Shoto as the two gives it there all as they use everything they got however Shoto was using only his ice again and not his fire, Bakugo scream at Shoto to go all out on him so he can prove he was number in the world jut as he was about to use fire he stopped and got hit by Bakugo's attack giving him the win, this made him upset because the victory was handed to not earned then he passed out.
Then the award ceremony began and Allmight arrived with metals for the ones who made it to the top of course Bakugo was angry as beast because he didn't earn it but he was given his metals anyway and with that the ceremony and the festival was over and it was time for everyone to head home.
Yushai: now that was something.
Tina: it sure was especially how everyone gave it there all.
Gunvolt: still I wonder why that kid wanted to help his opponent?
Yushai: that's just how Izuku is he all was wants to help people in need, and it did look like that Shoto guy really needed help.
Gunvolt: … I see.
As they are on there way home Gunvolt gets a message from his comrades about another of Sumeragi's agents that as to be taken care of, Yushai tells the girls to go to the house and don't leave there which they understand once they were gone Yushai transform and heads out with Gunvolt.
(Scene change)
(Mega Man ZX – Misty Rain)
Yushai and Gunvolt arrived at the area where the enemy is once they find him both of soon felt uncomfortable when they found him.
Yushai: okay I know he has a similar suit like Elise but seriously…
Gunvolt: don't let your guard Yushai against Zonda … and your right about the suit he is wearing…
Zonda: came and catch me lovelys.
Zonda disappeared and the two then began chasing him as warps reality around him making things upside down and making things difficult for the two so they can't find him until they found the path that leads to him but they soon heard a scream the two hurry until they found Zonda already beaten and about to die by the hands of a mysterious individual.
?: go to your creator you abomination.
*BANG!*
Yushai: he killed him… in cold blood…
Gunvolt: Yushai… I don't think this guy is here to help us.
?: I'm not, Azure striker and you as well traitor.
The individual reveals himself as he is wearing armor, carries a shield and prepares to fight them.
?: my name is Copen. Say your prayers Gunvolt and you as well traitor of humanity.
(Azure striker Gunvolt - Copen boss fight )
The two do battl against Copen who uses a special gun against Gunvolt which disable his electric ability Yushai attacks with a lot of missiles and a charge shot hurting Copen a bit then Gunvolt fights back with electric attacks hurting Copen more.
But soon Copen uses the attacks of enemies Gunvolt has defeated including Elise's as well, lasers, swarm of bugs even a gaze that turns them into stone, however the two were able to survive and end the fighting.
Copen: you may have won this fight but I'll be back to end you both count on it.
(End of music
Soon he left the area Yushai and Gunvolt then left as well, meanwhile back at the stadium many of the students board the busses and got ready to leave and head back to there own schools and countries however unknown to everyone, the foot soldiers who disappeared from the fortress was with them disguised as one of them and was given an important task by the unknown figure.
(Flash back)
?: I have removed the weakness on your bodies but don't think this makes you invisible I can still end you all at any time, you work for me now and your first mission is to infiltrate into the three schools, Vought, Honnoji, Schicksal and collect information and data from them along with any dark secret they have.
Foot soldiers: …
?: as for you XX. You will infiltrate into the dragon keepers lab there you will know the full truth about you and your kinds existence.
(Flash back end)
XX: the truth about our existence…
The busses all soon leave unknown of the passengers they have with them then everything fades to black.
