CH 48
On Sunday afternoon Hammersley return back to Cairns. Buffer was look through the EDO smile when he saw who was on the wharf. He turn to Kate
"X we got a welcoming comity waiting for us" Kate walk over to where buffer is and smile
"It looks like it alright" She said grinning
when Hammersley dock every one finish up what they are doing before leaving Hammersley. The crew greeted the ones who on the wharf "Nav, sir it great to see you" ET said smiling
"you to ET"
then the others showed up to talk to them when swain smile as he walk onto the wharf just as Sally and Chloe showed up. He pick Chloe up to give her a hug and hug Sally and gave her a kiss just as Buffer and Kate walk on to the wharf and into there loves ones arms for hugs and kisses then they give there kids a hug.
"Swain are you ok" flipper asked they all turn to see a shock swain and smiling Sally.
He turn to the crew "Sally thirteen weeks pregnant" Every one went to congratulated them both and give swain a hard time.
"Sally and I decided to wait till she reach her second trimester before sharing the news"
"Why that" spider asked
"Sally had two miscarriages after having Chloe that is why this time we waited"
"We under stand and congratulation" mike said
"thanks sir" they talk as they walk to wards the guard house and went there separate ways.
That night mike and Kate made love as well talk about what been happening with the family and about Patrick and Ryan.
While at Nikki and buffer place they talk about the trial and how they not looking ford to it. Buffer tells Nikki about the crew ideas on what to do with Ray Walsmen and his men which made Nikki laugh.
"I need that, thanks Pete"
"Same here, bright island is a good idea"
"True, lets go to bed got a big day tomorrow" Nikki said
"Good idea" they got up up and walk down to there bedroom.
They went to check on Vicky who is sleeping soundly then checking on Nick before going into there own bedroom. Pete went into the bathroom to use the loo while Nikki sorted out the bed and got change her self.
When Pete walk out of the bathroom he stop at the sight before him. Nikki was kneeing on the bed wearing spaghetti strap lime green silk chemo. He could see she lost a lot of the baby fat from when Vicky was born
"Nikki" Pete said in shock as he walk towards her as she stood up on her knees.
He could see how short it is "when did you buy this"
"Last week, you like" She asked while smiling knowing the answer that was written over his face
"Oh yeah but" he look up to her face
"Pete remember what the doctor said about the six week rule"
"Yeah, has it been that long"
"Two months" she wrap her arms around his neck and gave him a passionate kiss till they broke for air.
"you mean"
"Ah ha, so" she move her arms down to his shorts and pull them down while looking at him
"what my punishment going to be" She said as she lick her lips
"You know what it going to be"
they kiss and remove each other clothing then Pete move Nikki till she was lying down on the pillow then they kiss and made slow passionate love after Pete spent an hour of punishing her before making love to her three times which they both miss before falling asleep in each other arms and a smile on there faces.
The next morning the crew showed up at court wearing there uniforms. The media was also there since it been big news for the past two months. Pete was pushing the stroller with Nikki next to him when they reach where the crew and feds are.
They all talk and sat down while waiting to be called in to testified. Buffer got Vicky on his lap while he was hanging to one of her toys that she likes to play with while talking to the crew. They waited for over an hour when Mike was called to the stand.
Mike and Kate stood up and kiss before he walk to the door as the crew wish him the best of luck. Kate sat down and turn to Pete "some one needs changing" Kate said
Pete pick Vicky up and sniff "woo you do need changing"
He stood up as Nikki pick up a bag that was in the underneath carriage and pass it to him "I'll be back" then he walk out of the room while talking to Vicky.
"I'll be feeding the other end" Nikki said making them all laugh.
"How is buffer taking father hood" Charge asked
"Great. We been taking turns in feeding her. He bottle feeds her then I breast feed her. As for diapers he dose it when he home and the same when it comes to bathing her, she loves her baths" Nikki said smiling
"Was Nick like that when he was a baby" Swain asked
"Yes" She said smiling.
When Mike return he sat down not saying a thing. Kate look at him as she put her hand in his. He look at her and he shook his head slightly then he look at the crew
"Can't talk about what happen in the court room"
"We under stand sir" Swain said.
They spent the whole day in the room as one by one each crew member was called into testified. By the end of the day only four were called in. Over the next few days they were called into testified.
When it was buffer turn he and Nikki stood up together. He pass Vicky to her and they kiss before he walk out of the room. Nikki sat down holding on to Vicky who was making noises which made the crew smile.
Half an hour later Nikki was getting worried, she turn to Kate "Pete been on the stand for a long time" Kate put her arms around Nikki shoulder
"It will be ok. Got to remember what he went through"
"I know" she look down at Vicky who was sleeping peacefully.
Few minutes later the door open, they turn to the door to see Pete walk in. Nikki stood up and he look at her as he step ford and pulled her into his arms and hug her
"It ok Pete it over now" Nikki said as she rub his back for a few minutes when the door open
"Lieutenant Nikki Tomaszewski" was heard.
They pull a part and kiss before Nikki walk around him and out the door when the crew could hear the media out side just as the door close. Pete sat down looking down at Vicky not saying a thing. Nikki was the last to testified against Ray Walsmen and his men.
When she return back to the room where the crew is Pete stood up as she walk into his arms as they hug each other. Then Kate stood up and step forward to hug them both, then Mike did. Then the others followed suit till they heard a noise
"some one felling left out" mike said making the crew laugh.
They broke apart so Buffer could walk over and pick Vicky up and return to his spot holding onto her as they all hug once more as they all look at Vicky who was smiling at them which made them all smile as they all thought about what happen during through final few weeks that lead up to the two arrests of Ray Walsmen and his men saving Buffer life and rescuing Nikki and the birth of Vicky.
"Ah buffer you stink" spider said
"not me, Vicky needs her diaper change" buffer said
"Oh"
"Perhaps you should change her diaper spider" Nikki said making the others laugh
"I don't know how"
"Well you can start now" they broke apart so buffer could go over and pick up a bag and walk to the door
"come on spider" buffer said.
Spider follow Pete to the door and knock onto it, then the door open "diaper change"
Then he walk out with spider behind him then the door close since the feds are making sure that the media doesn't try to get into the room to ask questions.
When they return buffer was smiling as he pass Nikki the bag before sitting down next to her putting Vicky on his lap
"Pete why are you grinning" Nikki asked
"Spider had to change Vicky twice"
"Twice" Nikki asked with her eye brows raised
"Yeah after cleaning her the first time he was just about to fold the corner of the diaper over her stomach when she peed on it" they all laugh
"Way to go Vicky" ET said laughing
"Well she dose have good timing" Nikki said. Then they tease spider about it.
"spider how was your first diaper change" Mike asked
"Gross sir" they laugh
"Your lucky you only had one to change and not four" Kate said
"that would be worse X" Charge said
"Yes it would be" mike said.
Then the door open so they all turn to the fed who step into the room "Waiting for the verdict to come in"
"thank you for telling us" Mike said then the fed step back and close the door.
"All we can do is wait" Kate said as she look at Vicky who was looking at her and smile at Kate which she did in return.
Half an hour later the door open and a man walk in and over to the large TV that on the wall, where he turn it on then walk out closing the door behind him.
They all look at the TV to see it connected to camera in the court room. They watch as the jury return and listen to what was happening, realizing it was the verdict. Mike put his arm around Kate shoulder just like what Pete did to Nikki. Flipper held on to Charge and swain hands just like what the others were doing as they listen to the verdict being read out.
They look at the TV in shock when they all heard the verdict. Ray Walsmen and his men all been found guilty and been sent to prison for life with no parole and the Russian special ops men would be deported back to Russia where they would be facing court trial there for what they done.
When it was over Pete pull Nikki into his arms for a hug, Mike did the same with Kate while the others patted each other on the back and sent text messages to the rest of the crew about the verdict.
"Sir this cause for a celebration" Charge said smiling.
"Yes it dose but I think it should be up to Nav and buffer since they been through the worse of it all" they all look at them.
Pete and Nikki look around the room then to each other "what do you think Nikki"
"I don't know what do you think" then they heard Vicky making noise so they crouch down since she was in the stroller
"what do you think should be celebrate...no" Nikki asked her daughter
"Or yes" she ask Vicky again few seconds later. Vicky smile as she wave her arms around which made Nikki and Pete smile
"she says yes" Pete said then look at Nikki as they stood up.
"Well one vote for yes, Nikki what about you" Pete asked.
"Sure" Pete kiss Nikki then turn to Mike and Kate
"sir, X can we have it at your place if that is ok with you"
"sure bring your families"
"and food and drinks" Kate said smiling They talk for a few minutes when the door open and it was the fed
"You can go now and thank you all and the rest of your crew for a job well done"
"On behalf of the Hammersley crew, thank you" Mike said as he step ford and shook the feds hand
then they all walk out together with buffer pushing the stroller till they were out side where the media was asking them questions which they were able to answer them.
Hour later all the crew showed up except for the ones who on watch and there families. The crew brought plenty of food and drinks to celebrate. Mike went to pick the kids up from Heidi place while Sally waits for Nick so she would bring him to mike and Kate place saving Pete traveling there to pick him up and take him back to mike place.
Every one was having a great time till Mike saw who walk around the corner, so he walk over to the boys "Ryan, Patrick, this is a surprise" they hug
"Can we talk" Ryan asked
"Sure, let's go in side" They walk to the back door and inside.
They walk down and into the family room where they sat down and spent over an hour talking. Kate saw them go in side so she left them to it.
When Mike and the boys walk out side Kate walk over to the three of them "Ryan, Patrick"
"Kate it good to see you again" Ryan said
"me to" Patrick said.
Kate turn to mike "We had a good long talk about what happen"
"that good" she turn to the boys.
"How are you both felling about all of this" Kate asked
"Shock, we couldn't believe what mum did to mike here. I'm a shame of her" Ryan said
"she still your mum Ryan" mike said.
"I know but she cheated on dad, I know I should be angry with you Mike but dad told us no to since your a victim as well"
"We all are" then mike phone rings so he got it out of his pocket and look to see who it is
"NAVCOM" then he answered it
"Hello mike Flynn... yes lieutenant..." his eyes widen
"Who there...Yes, describe them to me... yes... yes... yes... yes I know them. I'm on my way... thanks for calling me" then he hung up and turn to Kate

"all my sisters are in Maxine office, they called Security, lieutenant young called to tell me about it"
"Ok, they must of gotten your e-mail"
"Yes, I'll be back soon as I can" they both kiss.
"Mike can I come with you" Ryan said
"me to" Patrick said
"sure, come on" Kate watch them walk over and got into the wagon and drove down the drive way.
flipper walk over to Kate "Where commander Flynn going"
"NAVCOM, his sisters showed up"
"Oh"
"Yeah"
"I'm going into town to get some food since you almost out of them"
"Are you sure"
"Yeah, I'll be back"
"Ok" flipper walk around the corner and down the drive way to where her car is.
When Mike Ryan and Patrick walk into the ball pen mike saw the security holding his sisters back
"Mike" Jo said when she saw him.
He walk over to them "Let them go"
"sir" since they know who mike is
"I said let them go"
"but sir they try to attack commander white"
"I'll deal with it"
"Yes sir" they let mike sisters go.
"Why didn't you call me to tell me you were all coming here today"
"We thought you were working. We were going to talk to you about your shocking e-mail Mike" Jane said
"I'm here and I know that look on all of your faces"
"Well then you know we are angry for what she did to you"
"i know and you know what I went through my self"
"We know Mike, but she" Jo said pointing to Maxine
"she seducer you not once but twice so she could get her self pregnant. What was her navy nick name" Jo asked
"Knocker" Ryan said
"Well she sure live up to her name, she knock you up Mike and..." Jo look at Ryan then to Patrick then to mike in shock
"Ryan, Patrick I would like for you to meet your aunties Jo, Jane, Michele, Kelly and Kayla." Mike pointed out so Ryan and Patrick would know who is who.
"These are your nephews"
"so they know Mike" Jane asked
"Yes and so dose Kate"
"How is she taking the news"
"Shock but she knows about what happen and she been very supportive about all of this"
"Are you talking about lieutenant McGregor Mike" Mike turn to Maxine
"Yes I am"
"how long have you been sleeping with her"
"that none of your business" Jo said yelling at her
"We welcome Kate into our family years ago cause we know that mike loves her and we got to know what sort of women she is"
"they known each other for over fifteen years" Jane said
"fifteen years" Maxine said in shock

Mike sisters burst out laughing and Mike smile "Patrick" he turn to Jo
"Your thirteen years to late"
"what do you mean" Ryan asked
"Mike and Kate been married thirteen years in January next year"
"what" Maxine said in shock
"You married" Ryan said to mike
"Yes I am" he raise his left hand for them to see the wedding ring

"Yes nine year old quads"
"quads that there names" Ryan asked
"Connor, Grace, Patrick and Mary"
"What are they like" Ryan asked
"Great kids, they don't know about you two yet"
"ok, I would like to meet them" Ryan said

"Mike you married that whore" Maxine said which shock in every one in the ball pen
"Kate is not a whore Maxine" Mike said in command tone

"She was raped Maxine, she was thirteen years old" mike said yelling at her.

"you had her check out didn't you" Jane asked
