Chapter 1:-What a boring day
Ichigo yawns while walking through the streets of Karakura town as the sun sets below the horizon "Geez today was boring as usual, just a bunch of studies and nothing much I wonder how Uryu focuses on the class and avoids falling head first towards his table he is probably a mind freak for that" his thoughts swirl around regarding today. He gets home and slumps on the bed with a sigh taking a much needed rest out of exhaustion.
He takes out his phone "I wonder what's going on with others?" as he keeps on scrolling through Soultube he again lets out a tired sigh shaking his head seeing Keigo doing another 'rate the girl' videos "I swear at this point he doesn't need grass he needs help". After a few more scrolls he closes the phone and looks up at the ceiling.
"I am hungry as well welp looks like I have to get myself something to eat at this point" he gets up from the bed feeling his hunger increasing. He walks through the yellow lights reflected by the stores as the moon imprints it's shadow onto earth, meanwhile Ichigo keeps walking looking for something to eat that might catch the interest of his stomach. His eyes accidentally stumbles upon a burger shop and he decides to go with it since there isn't any other good fast food restaurant nearby other than the one in front of him.
He orders two whoppers and begins to eat it when the order was set on his table. However after a few bites he suddenly feels an odd spiritual pressure which represents that of a hollow "At this time? Are you serious?" he immediately munches it down and heads out straight towards the source of the pressure. Karakura town lately hasn't had much hollow activity so it was strange for it to happen at this point of time as it rarely happens.
His footsteps quicken as he picks up the pace getting closer and closer to the source of the disturbance. As he reaches the place he gets confused as there wasn't a single indication of a hollow even being present there, however a sudden voice interrupts his train of thoughts "Oh hello Kurosaki" he snaps his heads towards the direction of the voice coming from a rooftop of a house and sees Uryu standing there with his recognizable bow in hand.
"Oh it's you huh? Let me guess you took down the hollow?" he crosses his arms staring at the four eyes standing above him "Yes it seems you need to work on your stamina" he says while adjusting his glasses to which Ichigo scoffs at him "Please we both know that you are the less athletic one here" Uryu's eyes suddenly widen and he yells at Ichigo to tell him that there was a hollow behind him. The hollow already had it's fist aiming for Ichigo but he was caught off guard and was to slow to do anything.
He embraced for the impact but a moment passed by with nothing happening to him so he turned to look back and saw a yellow shield blocking the fist of the hollow and recognizes Orihime standing besides him "Orihime?" she turns around to face him and gives an awkward smile "Oh well you see I sensed some hollow activity nearby so I rushed here just in cause it doesn't harm anyone hehe" she rubs the back of her as Ichigo sighs in relief "Thank you Orihime you saved me but now let's take this bastard down for good" he unsheats his zanpakuto from the back and takes a stance ready to take action.
Orihime becomes serious again and focuses on maintaining the shield as the hollow roars ready to throw another punch, as it strikes her shield again she gets pushed back a little meanwhile on the side Ichigo quickly runs at the hollow aiming for it's legs which it notices and shifts it focus to Ichigo and as he gets close he goes on to stomp at him yet again stopped by her shield under his leg as Ichigo slid under it. This time Orihime held on tight as she felt the weight of the feet on the shield so it doesn't break but once Ichigo was behind the leg he immediately goes for the hamstrings behind the knee making the hollow kneel in agony.
Suddenly a flying type hollow heads full force towards Orihime which makes her nervous and anxious already thinking of how much fatal she would be if it hits she immediately tries to put up a shield however it was too late and as it got close a blue arrow was shot through it's head making it change course and crash besides her. She tried to control her panic attack after such a near death experience and looks at Uryu silently thanking him with her eyes. The hollow was squirming in agony after which he puts another arrow in his head giving it the killing blow putting it out of it's own misery.
Ichigo on the other hand climbed on the back of the downed hollow as he got near the neck he roared and gave a hard swing cutting off it's neck which makes it fall front with a thud onto the ground. After a moment the two corpses start to disappear into ashes and Ichigo sheaths his zanpakuto behind him again and glances at her placing a supportive hand on her shoulder "Are you ok Orihime?" she composes herself and nods looking back at Uryu "Thanks for saving me Uryu san" he shakes his head "No need to thank me you are our friend it's our duty to protect you" Ichigo smirks at him "Oh my~ where did you learn such compassionate words huh?" Uryu suddenly gets embarrassed and gets defensive.
Meanwhile as the banter was continuing down the alleyway two mysterious figures stood upon a roof at a distance. One was big and buff while the other was the opposite slim and lean. "Heh~ so those brats are the so called protectors of this cute little town huh? They seem pretty weak don't they... Ulquiorra?" Yammy glances at his partner besides him with a smile who just stared upon the trio with curious eyes which couldn't be seen due to his expressionless face.
After a moment Ulquiorra turns around and opens a Garganta to Hueco Mundo going through it who was also followed by Yammy behind him. The Garganta closes as they disappear within it meanwhile the trio kept on their banter oblivious to what just occurred right under their noses.
Yammy and Ulquiorra enter a large room with pillars surrounding them and there was a wide table in front with a few people sitting on their seats. "Looks like they are finally back huh? Took you guys long enough" a blue haired member on the left side spoke scoffing at them as they approached the table. "Oh atleast we didn't mess it up unlike you who would have just went head on instead of actually doing what was intended Grimmjow" Yammy replies back at Grimmjow's remark which makes a frown appear on his face.
"I dare you to say that again Yammy!" he says glaring back at him, as they banter on Ulquiorra sighs and closes his eyes ignoring their banter as he didn't want to be a part of such childish arguements. " *sigh* do these guys ever learn?" one of the members at the right side of the table speaks lifting his head up as he was woken up from his nap by their voices.
Finally Aizen speaks up "So? What did you observe Ulquiorra?" He asks with his head leaning on his right fist as he had his iconic smile on. "It seems we have a group of three youngsters a quincy, soul reaper and a fullbringer by the looks of it" Aizen ponders upon his description "I see so a quincy, soul reaper and a fullbringer? Interesting to think that the quincy still exist seems like they have escaped the genocide and you say a soul reaper as well as a fullbringer describe them in more detail" he demands with his stern voice.
" The shinigami boy seems to use a typical zanpakuto for a battle and by the looks of it he seems inexperienced and the same goes for the girl who has an ability of spawning organic shields" Aizen's eyes indicate that he is in deep thought "Well it seems we have the information all we need is to prepare for our objective the meeting is dismissed" he speaks as he stands up from his slightly bigger chair and walks towards his private quarters while the rest still stay at the table.
"Looks like lord Aizen is planning something devious I can feel it" Nnoitra tells while having a wide grin "Yeah yeah whatever anyways where were we again Yammy? Oh yeah we were at how much of a dumbass you are" Yammy clenches his fist and gets furious "Enough you shit I will knock your ass down right here!", "Fine with me buffalo" he also gets up from his seat and starts to dash towards him. As they both get into punching range Harribel comes between them which makes them stop.
"Are you guys children or immature men if you want to get kicked out by lord Aizen then go ahead I don't mind" they both click their tongue resisting the urge to punch one another but in the end stop their action and walk opposite ways "Tch you had to ruin it didn't you Ms. servant?" Nnoitra tells clearly wanting to get under her skin "Do you have a problem Nnoitra?" she stares daggers at him while crossing her arms, he eventually scoffs and walks away muttering to himself.
Starrk chuckles a bit and glances at her "You act like a mom sometimes you know? It's quite funny to see" she sighs and walks away towards her private quarters as well leaving Starrk alone at the table. "My my~ it is a really boring day today" Starrk puts his foot on the table leaning back against his chair trying to get one more nap in before the day ends.
