Disclaimer : I do not own either MLP nor Rosario Vampire, if I did, I would be a much, much better writer.
Other disclaimer : I know, this is a very random idea. And I'll put it right there. NOT FOR KIDS. I'll make sure the rating represents that, but considering the nature of the anime, it's best to make the rating clear right out of the gate.
Also what this story isn't: Trixie is not some replacement for Tsukune, if you think he might not be a thing here or she's gonna steal his whole harem. Do not worry about it, that's not what I want this to be. Even if this is very self-indulgent, there are parts of this story I do want to respect.

There were very few times where Trixie could actually say that she had screwed up, but this one time was most likely one of them. Perhaps, just PERHAPS, that performing one of her amazing tricks during the high school entrance to impress the director was not the best idea. Also, maybe using firecrackers during the said trick in the middle of a classroom was a lapse of judgment on her part. She just wanted to impress them, that's all ! If she could showcase her talent and how great her magic was, they would have no choice but to accept her into school ! Totally not because she had forgotten to study for the test and was desperate to get accepted. That would be something only a fool would do and Trixie was no fool.

(Author's note ; She kinda is.)

After that incident, there were not many schools willing to take her in, one because she had a lot of past incidents concerning that type of stuff and two, she didn't have either the grades or money for the admission fee that most of these schools asked for. She made some solid tips from her street magic shows, but that was far from good enough.

Her parents weren't exactly super helpful either since they traveled so , it might have been a good thing since it's those travels that triggered this whole story to happen.
See, the fact that Trixie was rejected was of course a big bother for all the family. They didn't want her to be at home with nothing to do. Not that they were worried about her getting lonely, more than the fact she could pull stuff like at the exam when she got bored. Hence, when they met a strange old man who had a proposition for them ,they didn't think too much of it. Although, hindsight probably would have said they should have. From the way the guy worded it and from the way they interpreted it, it was somewhere her ''magical abilities'', focused on the quotation marks, would probably fit the best. They couldn't think of any other school where they could really see their favorite little illusionist fitting in.

So that's where Trixie was, for her big day she had taken quite a while to get herself ready, she packed all her tools and her magician outfit. She wore the uniform given by the school, instead of her usual blue jacket and purple skirt, much to her dismay, but you know what they say, the first impressions are very important. She made sure her white and blue hair was perfectly styled and she was ready. Giving her goodbyes to her father and mother and making her way to the bus stop where they were supposedly going to come pick her up. She wasn't sure how long she waited there. It could have been either 10 minutes or 3 hours as far as Trixie was concerned, it didn't matter much, she hated waiting. Thankfully she didn't have to wait much longer as the bus soon arrived. Letting a sigh of relief, freed from that boredom she walked inside.

She was greeted by probably the creepiest guy she had ever met in her life. Some sinister bus driver, she knew people liked to joke about bus drivers being creepy, but that was a whole new level. That was a whole new game actually. His glare was just two bright eyes, she wasn't sure if that was his actual eyes or that was just their glow, because his upper half of his face was kept in shadow. The guy was clearly trying to be sinister and it was working, he even had an evil mustache to go along with it.

'' Are you another new student for the Academy ? '' The driver asked in the creepiest and slowest way possible, taking his time on each word like if he was announcing some great prophecy or acting for dramatic purposes. Well, it's a good thing that being dramatic was exactly what Trixie was all about.

'' Indeed I am ! The Great and Powerful Trixie will make her debut at...uh...Trixie doesn't remember the name, but it doesn't matter because she will blow everyone away ! Uh, figuratively speaking of course. '' Trixie said with a chuckle. She hadn't exactly informed herself a lot about this place, even if she did, it wouldn't have mattered much anyway since there was very little information available.

The driver smirked, like if he was amused, it was the fun part of his job. Seeing the different reactions from the people he'd brought in. They rarely ever came back, so these first impressions were ever so precious to him. Like this one, he could already get a pretty good idea of who she was. If that confidence could get her through what was awaiting her there, good for her.

'' Yokai Academy is the word you are looking for… I must warn you though, it is a veerrryyy terrifying place. Once we get out of the tunnel you will see for yourself. This is your last chance to leave and go back. '' The driver warned her, a warning that she scoffed at, like such a thing could ever frighten someone like her !

'' Ah ! As if the Great and Powerful Trixie would ever step back from a small fright ! '' She said laughing as she walked deeper into the bus, it was just now that she realized how...empty it was. She expected it to be full or at least half-full if this was the first day of school. Maybe there's really not a lot of students that come from here, but then why would they even bother using a bus for that then ? Too many questions and none that mattered too much, she noticed there was one other person in the bus.

Honestly she only noticed him because he was the only other person in there, otherwise she would have totally missed him. He was probably the most generic looking person that she had ever met, as harsh as it was to call someone in real life generic, but she really had no better words that came to her mind at that instant.
He was wearing the same kind of uniform as her, well, the male one obviously, but it confirmed that he was going to the school as well. She wouldn't usually even consider talking to someone like that, but from what she gathered, it might be a long trip so she found a seat near him, not the same seat as him of course, she wouldn't stand that low either, but close enough so they could have a conversation and look at him.

'' Hey, um… you ? You're going to this school as well ? '' She asked him. It made the boy jump a little bit, as he had been zoning out himself. To be honest, he had been pretty nervous about this whole thing, he hasn't exactly been planning to go to a school that he had no idea about, and that was really not thrilling him, but it was still better than not going to high school at turned around to look at the girl staring at him, seeming impatient for an answer. He coughed and gave her just that.

'' O-oh ! Yeah, I do. Sorry about that, this whole thing is just on my nerves you know ? Not even really sure where we're going and this driver is reallllly creepy so I rather not ask him for more explanations. '' He said, scratching his arm nervously.

'' I guess I can understand that. '' Trixie answered with a sigh, the driver gave her the creeps too, she just didn't really want to show it. It wasn't really like her to look bothered by that kind of stuff. The boy felt awkward, he was more prepared to talk to his cousin Kyoko over the phone than he was talking with someone in the bus.

'' S-so who are you ? '' He asked her.

'' Did you not hear Trixie's introduction earlier ? '' Trixie asked with a raised eyebrow that Tsukune only answered with a nervous headshake, he had seriously not paid attention earlier, he felt a bit bad about that. Trixie had really no will to do that again so soon after one, because she knew that if she did that so often, the act would get stale and she needed it to stay as fresh as humanly possible.

'' Trixie Lulamoon, but you can call me Great and Powerful if you want. '' She said with a snirk, she was the type to laugh at her own jokes. Probably a lot more than it should. Tsukune had no idea how he was supposed to answer that.

'' Tsukune Aono, a pleasure to meet you ? '' He said trying to look normal and friendly, but he knew that he was probably one of the most awkward persons ever, especially when he wasn't especially comfortable in the first place like in this case. They didn't really speak much to each other after that, it seemed that Trixie only really wanted a name and not much more than that. She laid back and looked outside the window as Tsukune finally did the call he wanted to do before it was interrupted as they entered a tunnel. Once again Trixie couldn't exactly tell how much time passed in there, but this time, she felt like it wasn't really as much her as it was by design. It felt like she was supposed to feel like that, which made her a bit curious about what was going on, she had a sudden bad feeling growing in the back of her brain. It was the one part of her brain that had what other people would call, common sense. Usually she didn't exactly bother with that, because common meant normal and Trixie wanted none of that, but this was a special occasion where she could agree that something was up.

She didn't have much more time to gather her thoughts as seemingly out of nowhere they had arrived, there wasn't much of a transition, it simply went from the darkness of the tunnel to a flash of bright light that then revealed their destination. Like they had gone through a portal more than anything, but that was just a silly idea. The bus stopped in its tracks shortly after.

'' Here we are kiddos. '' The driver said in the same dark and creepy tone as earlier, sending shivers down Trixie's spine, she took her bags and walked out of the bus, followed by Tsukune, as her eyes finally recovered from the flash from earlier, she was taken by surprise by what was welcoming her. The ground was just dirt and rocks with no sign of a road, there were dead trees everywhere, they didn't even look like they had been burnt or something, they just looked as if being dead was how they were supposed to look. It really doesn't help that it seemed that just a bit ahead there seemed to be gravestones on the sides of the road. What kind of place was this ?

'' It looks like a completely different world here… '' commented Aono, looking as disturbed and confused by this as she was.

'' I'd watch your backs if I were you two… be careful. '' said the bus driver with a sinister smile before closing the door and driving back from where he came, leaving the two students confused and in Tsukune's case, really frightened about what was going on here.

'' W-what do you think he meant by that ? '' he asked Trixie, only to see she wasn't really paying attention to that.

'' Who knows ? But Trixie has a better question...why in god's name is water RED here ? '' she asked looking confused, pointing at the said water which was indeed red. They couldn't exactly say what this was supposed to be. This could either be a blood sea oooorrrr it could be that this one specific lake was filled to the brim with red algae. Both were valid hypotheses really, but neither of them really wanted to be the ones to check if it was true. They decided to get a move on towards the school which they could see in the distance. Trixie was quite salty that they still had quite a while to walk, why couldn't that driver just let them at the doors ?
Although as they walked, they heard a strange sound coming from behind, Trixie had really no will to know what this was and decided to walk faster, really not feeling like having to deal with that. After a few minutes of walking, emptying her head as she tried to just ignore everything that was around her so she could get to the school and finally start her great debut already, but that as well would have to wait as she heard a crash that came right behind her. Her senses awakening all at once, she turned back, ready to blow away anyone that dared attack her, only to be greeted by quite a weird sight.

A bubblegum pink haired girl had crashed onto Tsukune, and while he was recovering from probably having his spine broken in half (Trixie assumed he had some sort of bone recovering magic), he also somehow ended up getting a feel of the girl's thighs. She didn't know about that girl, but if Trixie ever had some guy she didn't even know touching her thighs, she would have used one of her many extremely powerful spells on him of course, but for the sake of mercy, she guessed she could put that on being dizzy from the crash.

Trixie didn't really process anything that had happened after that, most likely because they stared at each other for a while, she wasn't sure if they were using some form of telepathy or something and honestly, when they did talk she had the ''lovey-dovey filter'' on. She really had no will or time to let that use some space in her brain cells. She was very surprised when that dialogue ended up with the said girl biting Tsukune on the neck.

'' What the hell ?! '' The magician screamed, frozen in terror in shock as she could hear the suction sound for a few seconds. She was going to rush to help him but it ended just as suddenly as it had begun, leaving the boy's neck with the mark of her lips. The girl jumped a bit at the girl's screaming, she bowed in apology.

'' I-I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there ! ''

'' You didn't see Trixie ?! She was just a few steps ahead ! '' Trixie answered with a slight pout, but she wasn't really mad as much as she was confused. At this point, it is kinda needless to say that she was because literally EVERYTHING in this situation was confusing her. She couldn't say her brain understood a single thing since they had gotten out of the brain, she sighed as she took a good look at the girl, she was wearing the same uniform, so she would have to assume that she was a student at the school as well.

'' I'm sorry for ignoring you...and sorry for biting you. '' She said that second thing to Tsukune. '' B-before we continue, I have to ask, w-what do you two think about vampires ? '' She asked, looking down at the ground, shyly.

Trixie was really not sure what the point of that question was, did she think she was a vampire ? Is that why she bit Aono ? Then that girl definitely was...something, but she wasn't going to question that, her head was already full of them, more would just be too much. Tsukune was the first one to speak up, at first Trixie could obviously read fear in his face, but he quickly changed to a friendlier one as he stood back up.

'' Fine by me, I don't have a problem with vampires in the slightest, if you want to call yourself a vampire, more power to you. '' He said as he was dusting off his jacket.

That was interesting, it seemed that the both of them had the same kind of thought process in that situation, although Trixie would have to say that she had several problems with vampires, firstly that being bitten really didn't seem like such a fun time. Secondly, as great and powerful as she was, she wasn't sure she could really take one confidently in a fight. That seemed a level above her own right now. Also, she was glad to have not opened her mouth because Tsukune then proceeded to be tackled to the ground once more. Trixie was more and more convinced he had some sort of invulnerability spell or fast regeneration at the very least. Maybe he was some sort of warlock, because there was no way she could take this many hits and be as fine as he was.

'' Well if that's the case, maybe we three can be friends ! What do you think ? '' The pink haired girl said with a bright smile on her face, she seemed excited at the idea of making some friends. Tsukune answered with a nod, taken aback by this.

'' Fantastic ! I was nervous because I didn't have any friends here yet. Oh...yeah ! My name's Moka Akashya by the way ! ''

'' And mine's Tsukune Aono… '' he said, seemingly distracted by her.

Trixie was slightly annoyed, she could see where this was heading, that was why she had turned on that filter earlier, it was clear that the guy liked her, well, physically speaking at least. She was not interested in looking into it any further.

'' Wait but I didn't…. ugh… my name is Trixie Lulamoon '' She introduced, trying to be friendly, but a bit too annoyed to give the grand speech she usually did. Moka kept smiling brightly as she hugged the both of them to her. She seemed a tad bit too excited to have met new people in Trixie's eyes, but she guessed she couldn't exactly blame her, Trixie was not exactly super popular either. So she could see why she would be happy about that.

The next half an hour or so was just them walking to the school, at least after they got out of that spooky forest, this place looked a bit more bearable, but still, things still looked straight out of a Halloween special or something. That was really the vibe that Trixie was getting from all of this.
When they arrived, she could really appreciate the look of the building, it wasn't as creepy as she expected it to be, since everything else was. Well, that was a matter of personal tastes, it might be for others, but she liked it. It had an old manor style that she enjoyed a lot, in the front at least, but it was way bigger than any manors that she had ever seen.

Moka proposed that they all explore the school together to get a good feel, but Trixie refused. Not that she didn't like them, but seeing them giving shy looks towards each other during the whole walk was more than enough. They could spend time with each other if they wanted but Trixie really needed some time on her own to recover from that. Plus, Trixie was a solo act and she was going to treat her grand entrance like one !

It was really great for her own mental health really as she walked down the halls of the schools, that was probably the largest school Trixie had ever seen. There were more doors and staircases than she had ever seen in any school she had gone to. Granted she hadn't gone to that many schools before that but her point still stood. She wondered if there was any place in the school where she could practice her tricks. After all, she'd need to be fully prepared for when she would do her first show here and blow everyone with amazement with her amazing magic !

She knew she brought enough stuff to last her at least this session. Well that was calculating if she wanted to do one show per week, what kind of tricks she wanted to do in each of them. Her plan was to make smaller ones throughout, but make a bigger one at the beginning to make a good first impression and at the end to leave people on a good note. Of course all of that was purely on paper, she had no idea what kind of audience she would have and what kind of stuff they would like. That is if the school allowed her to go with her plans at all. She had no idea if they would.

As she was thinking about this, life, who was probably bored and wanted something to happen, did just that. It seemed that someone had forgotten to throw away one of their cans from the vending machine and left it on the ground. Trixie was way too focused on thinking of her ambitious plans to notice it, that was probably on her as well, not gonna lie. She could feel her heart skip a bit and being brought back to reality as her foot slept on it making her fall forward towards the nearest stairs, because of course there was. There had to be. She closed her eyes as she started falling down the stairs. And it was painful, if you have never fallen down stairs, let's just say it's like taking several hits at various angles at high velocity, it really hurts. She also hit someone on the way down, thankfully it was towards the bottom as the falling finally stopped.

Thank god, it seemed that she had somehow found a cushion to land on. Life was finally on her side for once, it gave her two large soft cushions to prevent getting a concussion as she fell. Wait a minute, her brain finally started processing things again when she could think other things other than ''Ouch'' she could start thinking again, all she could see was some sort of pale yellow, it felt like a shirt, and the two cushions felt way too warm and jiggly for what they were supposed to be. It wasn't a pillow kind of warmth, more like you are in a sauna kind. She froze mentally as she could get a mental image of what happened. What kind of cruel god lets this kind of thing happen.

'' Ooouch… are you gonna get off or what ? Believe it or not, it really hurts… '' Said a voice, which made Trixie push herself off, using her hands on the ground to lift herself off, which was easier said than done, since they were considerably stiff from the pain. At least, like that she could get a good idea of who she had fallen on top of. Her heart stopped once more, but this time it wasn't from danger or a heart attack.

Trixie's purple eyes met the girl's own, there was something in the girl's gaze that really went through Trixie. She wasn't sure what it was though, was it the beautiful shade of purple ? Was it the sheer confidence she could feel in it, or was it those thick long black eyebrows that really brought those three things together ? Probably the three, she also really liked her blue hair, it reminded her of the ocean, at least one that wasn't red like the one at this place apparently. Plus, well, the most obvious part, she had the biggest chest she had ever seen in her life. What in the world were those ? Weapons of mass seduction ? She couldn't help but stare, unsure if she was feeling threatened or intrigued.

This moment must have lasted a really uncomfortable amount of time because at some point, she was just pushed off at the girl, surprising Trixie, who was really embarrassed by all of this, that wasn't exactly how she expected her first day to go, she stands up again, but putting her back against a wall, since her leg was really hurting from the abuse it took. The girl looked at her, staring at her with clear anger on her face.
'' What the hell was that about ? '' She asked in Trixie's face, who felt like she was being interrogated.
'' What the hell was what about ? '' Trixie asked the girl, confused about what she was referring to, well, she had a good idea, but she wanted to know what part exactly she was referring to.

'' One, you fall on me like a dumbass. Watch where you're going. Having someone fall on you isn't exactly fun. Two, you are gazing at me like some sort of creep ! As much as I like having people drool over my beauty, you're not in my plan, so I don't care about you. '' She said with a frown.

'' Dumbass ? Creep ? The Great and Powerful Trixie is none of those things ! Trixie was merely confused ! She's never met someone so… '' Her words are lost in her throat as she was trying to come up with adjectives that didn't come off as too rude. She had been trying so hard to become a better person in the past year or so. She didn't want to lose that progress over someone like her.

'' Beautiful ? Sexy ? Gorgeous ? Of course I am all of those things, it is nice to recognize what you are not. '' She said with a smirk on her face, making Trixie frowned.

'' The Beautiful and Gorgeous Trixie is pretty enough ! I do not need these… whatever dark spell you used on these to make them that big ! You are not in Trixie's plans either, so she would much rather you be on your merry way and let me do my thing before I blow you away into smithereens! '' She exclaimed dramatically, more trying to play to the gathering crowd than anything else, although, referring to spells had an unexpected side effect as that crowd started looking more angry towards her than impressed, she wasn't too sure why. The blue haired girl noticed that as well, she frowned, before deciding to take action pressing herself against Trixie, making the magician blush hard, what in the world was she doing.

'' Reaaalllly ? Because from what I'm seeing, you seem to like mine~ '' She says rubbing her breasts against hers, making Trixie bluescreen internally, but there was something odd in her voice, she had said that a bit louder than her other sentences and a bit more dramatic. That was an act. Trixie was well placed to know and figure out when someone was acting. When people went back to their own things, the girl leaned forward towards Trixie to whisper in her ear.

''' If I were you, I wouldn't talk about magic in these halls, trust me on that one. '' She said in what seemed to be a genuinely concerned voice, which confused Trixie to no end, what had just happened there ? The tonal shift gives her a bit of a whiplash.

'' Why would Trixie trust you ? You just insulted her literally seconds ago. '' She snapped back, not exactly happy to be pinned against a wall by someone who seemed to hate her but at the same time concerned about something ? What was going on here ?

'' I know, but I'm not cruel either… Look, I'll guess you're new here. Let's just go to class and I'll explain later alright ? Just… don't get on my nerves more than you already have. Just…stay…out…of my way. ''

'' Trixie can't guarantee anything but… uh… can she follow you at the very least.? She doesn't exactly know where her first class is, uh...what's your name ? Trixie can't call you you forever… '' She says scratching the back of her neck, embarrassed by this whole misunderstanding and the fact that she had to request help at all. If this was going to be her first impression, she wanted to at least salvage it by not being late. She didn't want a reputation of being tardy on top of being clumsy. One of them, she could deal with. Not both.

'' Just call me Kurumu, and yeah, I'll show you, thankfully at least one of us looked around before. '' She said, rolling her eyes, Trixie didn't bother answering that, she just wanted this to be over with and get to class. That had been an embarrassing enough morning. She wanted to ask the girl more questions as they went, but apparently, half the guys in the school decided it would be a good idea to follow as well and drool over her. This was going to be a looooonnnng school year, she could already feel it.
