Loved by the Dangerous

Check out kaledya on twitter and tumblr, where she created a wonderful hazbin hotel works and HH au named Sinners Symphony with awesome designs. We're talking art work and q&as if you want to learn more!

Lore and ocs being used are all hers.

I just hope I am portraying kaledya's ocs correctly, since I am trying to stick to the romantic theme of my tale with AU versions of my ocs interacting with hers.

Quest for a Melody :

Soften clicky- clack of Frosted Rainbow, Red cupcake heels on floors of Opsidian walls. Shaped into countless spiraling towers and archways in visa gothic architecture wrapped in black and red roses. Rafted ceilings so high that carved stone that held windows in place. Somehow deflected the natural light of the outside world and kept crimson darkness of the hushed night. Whistling a tune to the song Whistle While We Work from Apple red lips, echoed. A figure in White ribbon bow, halter neckline, sleeveless, High waist skirt, a line dress. Moved throughout corridors on carpeted flooring just gliding past countless shelves filled with books. Single pedestals with stone busts of demon kind past. Only took up one side while large windows were on the other. Light casted off from the chandelier, dome fixtures with finial touches. Just one of the added fearures she took in was she moved.

"Wonders you all carry," She sang when she looked upon the books' spines, "I wish I could read you."

She was happy in her own way that she agreed to a personal request from Charlie. One that had to do with her brother being held up in the deepest parts of his workshop, or personal library. Not paying attention to the outside world for days or weeks on end. Which would have Charlie worried and the drag him out. Which she couldn't do with the hotel keeping her busy at all hours. She got a hold of the person her brother was getting close to late. Who was glad to help Charlie out when she called her.

"Hope he isn't as bad as my brothers," She recalled how Wywave and Zon got, "Their trips into woods for days on end always resulted in them coming back with the appearance of a wild man."

Recalling the downside of living with two men is how they look after returning from clearing rotten trees. Faces covered in facial hair with a thick musk and dirtied clothing. Covered in sawdust and sore from carrying the logs home when using flora beasts. Always led to a clean up and chores for her with aid from the harpies. Left her growing nostalgic over when she got closer to a familiar hallway outside of Constantine's workshop.

"Let the fun begin." She faced those doors.

Didn't take much for her to open them since this wasn't her first time facing Constantine's locking enchantment. She cracked the first time she entered the night of the rainstorm. Only using one hand after removing one of her gloves for better flow. Flicks her hand just right with a familiar click as one of the doors pops open. Wide enough for her to enter as she pulled her glove back on. When she popped in to stop for a second at the sight. Multiple level space filled with shelves of research notes and countless books. Magical tools and relics she could name by heart left her in a tizzy. Quite different in her memory from the last time she was in this space.

"This is nothing like my brother's work space," She stepped forward, "Time to find him."

Up she reached to her ear where her finger tips tapped one of her earrings. A single chandelier made of rose gold and Clear Quartz crystal, "Beings who see, Beings who say, Aid me in this task, I pray, Where Constantine wanders, Let me see, As I will, So mote it be." She chanted a scrying spell like she had done before. Her eyes lit up as the crystal acted like her guide.

Down and up stairs she climbed when she wasn't walking across a wood panel flooring. Her eyes taking in the sights she got to see the first time she was in here. Natural light flooded in through the sky lights and massive windows. Taking in details she missed from Terrestrial Globes to the tapestries. Stopping only once to look up at the Celestial Globe with Zodiac Signs. Grandly stood on an outstretched balcony of the second floor. Under the most lit area of the room just bathed in light from above.

"Focus." She whispered to herself.

She walked away from a sight her brother had a smaller version of back in his cabin. Passing two owl statues that reminded her of owl that she sent home. She found herself being drawn further away from the lit up parts. Toward taller book shelves that blocked out the light and tables covered in papers. Single lamps on them would turn themselves off as she passed them. Stopping when she reached a split in her path and her spell was at an impasse. What helped her decide was a strong musk or scent she knew well. A dusty and musty odor her owl usually takes on when he hasn't been groomed. She turned toward to find said target nothing like she saw him during the hotel's movie night.

Besides his smell she picked up on, long curls that were neatly combed had become a wired mess. Small tangles that were forming were nothing like the forming facial hair upon his face. Thick layers of stumble gave him a rugged look and bags that formed under his eyes were hidden, under the rim of his frameless spectacles. Rested on the tip of his nose with his clothes slightly rumbled. Buttons of his short completely undone to expose his chest. Giving her a view of his necklaces he wore on black cord with individual pendents. Stirred a strong desire in her that became extinguished when a book was slammed shut, and shoved back. His tail shook from pure frustration over the lack of an outcome.

"No matter where I look or try to reproduce the melody," He recalled the song from that night, "I can't get the tune right."

"That tune? You mean a 13 generation lullaby handed down from mother to her children," She spoke of the Bloodmarch lullaby, "Used in combination with non- lyrical magic."

To a sight he hadn't seen since the hotel's movie night, Her hair was now worn in a ponytail with curled ends. She wore her Asmodean Crystal as a brooch and what was becoming her signature earrings. Whose narrowed eyes and creased eyebrows with hands placed firmly on her hips. Lips lightly pressed together as smoldering cobalt eyes just leered at him.

"My sister sent you, didn't she?" He guessed why she was here, "Seeing as how she usually checks in on me or forces me to come out as a form of a break. You being here must be her way of doing just that."

"Pretty much, I have experience in these types of situations," She bluntly stated, "My brothers are worse than you when returning from weeks spent in the woods."

"You handle them by yourself?" He recall her living situation.

"Harpies help with major tasks," She shrugged, "Minor ones never bothered me."

He released a breath he didn't know he took as tiredness he was putting off crept up. Left him to fight his first yawn he allowed himself to have while Maverick left his side. Happily trotting over to heel clad feet with tail wagging and wings happily flapping. Got the fox picked up by her in one swoop and his fur combed through by her.

"I got a treat for you once he goes to bed," She allowed Maverick to nuzzle her, "Something I picked up from my deliveries."

Constantine didn't like hearing about the new job she took on outside the hotel. He was just too tired to contemplate the dangers she was putting herself in. Since she was dropping off a few potions, her usual customers were nobles and their problems. Handful were small businesses and stalls throughout the 7 rings. Single residences of hell born demons that still follow the old ways of hell. Always had him thinking of what harm would come to her when she was out. Which started to take up his mind when he just watched Maverick and her. Away from the spines of his books and scrolls he turned toward their direction.

"Well?" He found her asking him.

He complied with her by stepping out from his workshop after he put away what he was working on. Exiting his workshop with her beside him and Maverick still being held in her arms. Noticing the unlocked enchantment on his door had been undone by her. Had his noting to ask her next time, he set eyes on her when he visited the hotel.

8*8

One of Charlie's forms of bond was over music during the slower days for the hotel when evening came. A rare sight within the parlor was where Wywave could have fun adjusting his saxophone. Messing with the octave keys to make sure the mouthpiece was just right. Where he lost himself in a mild blues sounding song brought forth by Serenity. Way he softly played each note without sheet music was harmonic. Leaving her to recall how skilled he was with said instrument after last hearing him. Just back then he wasn't as lively as now when he ended his unnamed song.

"You outdo other sinners with musical skill," Serenity watched him, "Being how natural of a talent you have."

"One of many that left me chained until near death freed me," He spoke of his distant past, "Now I have the honor to play for true fans."

Serenity ended up suggesting a subgenre of blues that was from the city of New Orleans. He gladly played for her with a small audience made up of the rest of the hotel's residents. Angel Dust and Husk were the first as Mirabell with Charlie and Vaggie joined. Niffty came dancing with Alastor out of his shadow with Elanye and Zon watching.

"I know this place is a living horror," Zon spoke from his experience as a former exorcist, "Moments like this say otherwise."

"This is why I want to support the Princess' cause," Elanye whispered, "A soul should be allowed to shine while being given the chance to be redeemed."

"I quite agree." Zon couldn't put it any other way.

Alastor was the one that approached the two with a request that Elanye join them with her voice. Offering his wireless microphone to her since he always broadcasted hotel's music night. Had Zon encouraged her since the trees and hotel's residents shouldn't be ones to hear her sing. Had her stepping up with Hoo Hoo shifting to one of Zon's shoulders as airwaves of the 7 rings lit up. Distracting who ever listen to the speakers of their radios from appearance of two teens. They walked out the doors of a golden clock tower with an envelopes in gloved hands. Neither one had a single angelic trait and didn't wear a single heavenly garment. Black and vermilion color of their attire were worn, One carried a duck themed mini backpack and the other wore red ribbons in her ponytails. Only thing that they shared were their eyes. Light crystal blue with silvery sheen as they looked toward the path they were going to take.

"Just like he described," Young man addressed young lady, "We know why we're doing this?"

"Keeping a promise." Young lady held up one envelope.

Two had met the redeemed soul from Hell, then become fascinated about steampunk machines and mechanics he spoke about. Displayed how they never really fit in with other children in heaven. Between fights that started up when they questioned ANYTHING to preferring horror stories. Humming hauntingly sounding songs that made fellow angels uncomfortable while having morbid humor. All changed when Sir Pentious came to heaven and they befriended him. Able to carry on conversations with him as he shared his stories of hell with them. Which didn't scare them and led to a choice they weren't currently regretting.

"Straight ahead?" Young lady asked.

"Always keep a guarded heart," Young men nodded his head, "Keep aware and alert."

They started their walk right up the front doors of Hazbin Hotel by only stopping once before the memorial statue. Young lady's face grew sad at the memory of how the creature died with watery eyes. Left the young man to open one of the doors for them to both enter with eyes searching. Creaking of the hinges and footsteps had Zon turning toward their late night guests as he recalled the greeting. Hoo Hoo was the first to react to the faces that looked at him with glee.

"May I ask why you two are here?" He asked forgoing the greeting, "Being that hell's post office workers are getting younger these days."

"We're here to delivery letters to Princess Charlotte and Elanye Bloodmarch." Young lady spoke to him.

"Right that way." Zon pointed with nod of his head.

"Thank you …" Young man didn't know what to ask him.

"Zon for now." He stepped out of there way.

Watching the two make the way toward the crowd that had formed with Charlie bursting at the sight of one. He welcomed her squeezing him a little too tightly as Mirabelle addressed him as Alice. He was unable to correct her when his friend handed over one envelope to Vaggie and other to Elanye. First one was written in a familiar hand writing Charlie knew came from Sir Pentious. Informing her where he was and about his new friends he had made upon arriving. Drew tears to her face when she saw a colored picture his letter also came with. Teens were posed on either side of him with Emily hugging the three of them as they wore smiles. Now reasons they were here was address to Elanye in the second letter informing her. One being that they asked to be reunited with whatever family that were in hell and help with Charlie's cause. Other being they were social outcasts that didn't mix well with angels. Had a magical potential that needed proper guidance and place to fit in.

"I think a welcome is order," She lowered the letter to inform everyone, "We have new faces joining us."

Excited Mirabelle when she claimed the young man all to herself for the rest of the night while learning his actually name. Which didn't bother him one bit as he accepted wholeheartedly in a kind manner. Young lady would continue with a few jazz requests that surprised Serenity and Alastor. Wywave complied by playing a few tunes to remind everyone. Some how resounded throughout everyone like struck cord that was felt by one last guest. Who had Elanye leaving the noise being made knowing Zon was greeting him.

"Welcome your Highness," Zon turned away from laugher and songs, "Someone will be with you in a moment since festivities have started."

"I witnessed." Constantine had heard the songs play on the streets.

"Glad you were able to join us," Elanye came into Constantine's view, "You clean up nicely for someone who looked liked a mess just a few days ago."

Bringing up the rare time she saw his unkept appearance after shutting himself away to work in solitary. Interested her to the point she could participate as a research assistant or a helping hand. Already intrigued with what ancient or forgotten magics he had locked away in his library. Maybe share what she also knew with him as her eyes spotted his tail just swaying behind him.

"Would you like to fill me in on what I missed?" He went on to ask her with his full attention on her as his ears picked up on their music, "I seemed a tad lost and may need some assistance."

"As long as you have instrument to join in our merry making and a song in your heart," Elanye pointed out Charlie's simple rules, "Care to join?"

Which he did for a night filled with individual songs coming together in that moment for them all. By playing along side Wywave with a borrowed violin when respectfully invited by him to join in. Great skill in their fingers brought whatever tune someone suggested alive while others sing alone. Sometimes Hoo Hoo joined in with a hoot or a chirp as he flapped his wings. Subject of two extra faces that were spotted among the small crowd by Constantine during breaks. Didn't come up until the official letter was shown with him along with other news.
